The Ethics seminars were a mixture of opinion, trivia, and sales training, and were very unfocused. They took up around 2.5 hours of unskippable watch time, plus another hour after that. There were all kinds of digressions and at least 70% of it was not focused on ehtics but rambling examples, and awkward tangents.

I have used WebCE on all my CE education units needed over the past number of years. I like that it is easy to use and get the proper information readily.
Would like to have had examples instead of just having it read to me the whole time.
The Read-it-to-me Audio voice sounds a bit robotic and was difficult to listen to for a long period of time. If the Read-it-to-me Audio can be improved, it would be clearer to understand. Also, some of the sections are very long.

I liked the history aspect the most, when it was used to tie in different principles and concepts related to insurance and ethics.
It would be helpful if the read-it-to-me audio was synced with the text provided.
I would add the option to highlight the text as it is being read. I find it very effective to have it read to me while reading along, but once in a while I would lose my spot. Highlighting/marking the spot as it is being read would be the icing on the cake!

I have been in insurance for about 15 years, and I found this course to be very insightful and helpful. It would be a great course for people who are starting out in the insurance field.

Errors in the grammer, the examples were horrible (hitting a dog, person dying) and since some states have different laws, of all the content, questions should not be asked where some states may not apply (Workers comp is not mandatory in every state) There was a question on having coverage via workers comp but the answer is incorrect in a state where work comp is not required. WAY too many words are used "mary, who was quite contrary?" really? A proof reader needs to go through the content.

Course content was very clear and offered very clear explanations of item such as co-insurance
The quality of writing is juvenile. I began to merely scan the text after the first page or so because the writing quality is so poor. Here's a gem that appears on the top of page seven: " Gonna provide you with another scenario under Title VII." The following sentence fragment from page 29 includes punctuation that suggest it was intended to be a fully functional sentence: "A lower valuation than the prior year after having made a complaint." This fragment contains neither a subject, nor a verb. The entire text is a mishmash of poorly conceived thoughts, trite idioms, and other tortured text. For comparison, I recently completed WebCE courses pertaining to the preparation of personal financial statements, the gig economy, and digital/virtual currencies. Each of those courses included thoughtfully prepared reading material. The poor quality of this course stands in stark contrast. Even some of the test questions are so absurd that reading the text is not necessary. In other cases, ill-advised idioms are embedded in the questions such as question 18 on the exam I received that included the tired phrase of "the straw that broke the camel's back." This class tarnishes other quality offerings from WebCE.
Reading materials vs. Video would be much preferred. I felt the material and questions skewed to the days of old far too much and the material needs updated. It would be much better to reference how we use web conferencing than how somebody schedules too many appointments and is late constantly.

The CE courses allowed me to come and go and work at my own pace. I enjoyed the auto-read function.
I would like the ability to read the content rather than watch videos.
WebCE has been my means of CE credits for many years, because of the content and ease of use.
Too much information to mentally digest, very time consuming, and too many questions for presented materials.
The course is good and interesting, especially with all the examples and scenarios that illustrated the points made in each lesson. I would suggest that the presenters make an effort to include females in the examples and scenarios. The only females mentioned in the entire course were the daughters of one of the presenters and a story about a Girl Scout selling cookies outside the entrance to a dispensary. I also wondered why the choice of selling cookies outside a dispensary was considered a good location to maximize business. Is the suggestion that people using cannabis are hungrier for cookies than other potential buyers? Why not a library, hardware store, hair salon, hobby shop, etc?
The instructional portion of the training along with the videos and practice questions make these educational training videos easier to follow and understand.
I appreciated the multiple examples used to define the different employment laws.

The course was excellent. However, every two or three minutes I had to unlock my phone during the entire course. The requirement of constantly unlocking my phone was very distracting. This Ethics course is too important. Please consider changing this process.

The examples that the instructor used red, yellow, and green was too redundant. I recommend included different scenarios.
30+ years experience; Maslow & Drucker never heard of; thought this was another "check the boxes" experience. But no, totally enlightened, very relative to my current employment. Made me feel validated to my work ethic that I have always had. I do want to share with my co-workers. I liked the part about bad people get away with doing unkind things if good people let them.
I really enjoyed the EEOC course. I learned a lot from the calm voice of the presenter, Christine Sensenig. Her examples assisted in my understanding.

The course was awesome.
This course was long in duration for the credits considering all of the verbal presentation. I could not locate the text to read it and move through it that way. I think I would have absorbed more by reading in combination with the verbal presentation. I did like the mock tests that pointed out where one did not understand the content.

I have ADHD and I cannot stand to hear videos played at normal speed. It is very hard to stay focused on the content but with the ability to play at 1.75 speed I am able to stay engaged and listen better. That accessibility is very beneficial to my type of brain that gets bored easily. Thank you for including that feature.

Your program is bottom line up front.
My biggest concern is for the CE course you have made, the exams are as hard or harder than the state exams to get the license and by doing so could be jeopardizing agents license who may not be able to pass the exams.

Father Son Team did a great job for this topic.
I liked how they broke the sections into 10 minute segments. Because I want to finish a section in one sitting, I knew how much time it would take. I also appreciated how they encouraged us to write a PEC and gave tips on how to go about doing so.
In the beginning, the course seemed dry and boring, but when the speakers shared life experiences, it turned the course around and made it more relatable.

The presenters were great. Very knowledgeable and made the class interesting.
This 3 hour course took way longer than 3 hours to get through all of the videos, exams after sections, and insurance video. More like 7 to 8 hours.
AI audio has such bad pronunciation at times. "Side A" coverage and "address" were two of the examples that were jarring on repeated occasions.

I really liked the instructors for this course. They really brought to life the concepts of ethics and integrity in really great ways by using quotes and consistently using Rucker's information. I learned a lot more in this way and am inspired to put to action writing my own personal code of ethics.
I enjoyed the course teachers (Doug Sr and Jr) more than expected. It was a lot of information, but it lead me to take very extensive notes. I do my CE with you guys every 2 years. Very easy to navigate. And it's EXTREMELY helpful that all the pre-built packages you offer in my state all satisfy my state's renewal requirements. It would be really bad if I ordered a 24-hour package that didn't meet those reqs. I find everything to be really smooth on this site.

The presentation of this course was difficult to figure out. There was a very large blank space from the topic above to the "continuation button below. Not clear as to what to look for to continue based on left hand margin, was difficult to find course material--finally found it by pressing search button. Very convoluted!

I really loved the course even though it is supposed to be boring, it was not and it was probably the first time I was actually truly engaged in an ethics course. The only suggestion I have is to introduce a slide that summarizes multiple point content. For instance , principles if leadership were listed one by one but there was no slide at the end listing all of them at once for better content retention

Apparently the California requirement was not that important other than making us listen to a largely irrelevant discussion. The "State" could have had a better presentation.

Father and son proctors. The son mentioned that his wife keeps a list of things he does wrong. I thought that might be a lie and a poor thing to say about the mother of his children - if it is not true- during the segment on "people forgive the mistake" but not the integrity of the person making it. I did not see it as comical if that was his intent. Shaming a spouse is not funny and the comment was distracting.

Overall, the course was pretty good. I would not recommend this course to a brand new agent. Seasoned agents know who Peter Drucker is, but I doubt new agents do or would care who Peter Drucker is.

The tests were created with AI and its obvious. Rather than asking relevant questions it comes up with oddly phrased random ones.

This Class after taking the Exam, exceeded 3 hours.
The only thing is the title starting "Hot Topics" but focusing on long standing employment laws that have not changed substantially in many years. I had hoped to have a segment that at least touched on more recent issues.

The mandatory hour at the end from the CDI was much drier and more tedious to get through than the rest of the course, which I thought was built much better. The last hour also needs to be updated as it is now 2025 and the course was from some time in 2022.
I normally like my WebCE course. This course has a lot of subjective content, poor examples and odd test questions.

I really appreciate the availability of WEBCE for me to renew my Certificates and Licenses! The only thing I would try to improve is the speed and emphasis of the voice in the read-a-long audio. I like that attribute very much but sometimes the voice "puts the accent on the wrong syllable."

Anti Fraud section with State of California was so in depth, I stopped taking notes.

The Dohrns as Insureance related Ethics instructors were excellent! The business case examples such as US Automotive industry and GM not listening to Drucker's suggestions of assembly line change resonates. Numerous other case examples used to make key points were very effective. FOr a subject about always doing the right thing, they elevated the subject and challenged you to think about how you approach your business, how to engage with prospects and clients, and more deeply how to live your life. Best Ethics or Ethics related course I've ever taken. Video and quiz cadence extremely effective for learning, retention, and future application of what's been learned.

The course was fine but several of the Exam questions had questionable/confusing wording. One example (I don't remember specific name or answers) was that Steven wanted to join the office football pool. When he asked to join, he was told the spots had all been chosen. This is an example of... I chose shunning but the other options were things like retaliation, harassment, and something else. I feel like this was not a good exam question because if it's a pool board and the spots are taken, then they're all taken- he should have asked to join sooner. Maybe not the best example but there were a couple questions that I felt none of the answers really applied that well.
i'm a visual person. i do not like to watch videos to learn. i get distracted. i would like to read and take exams

Chapter 1 practice question 3 asks, "Which employee is least likely to be in a protected class". They are all in protected classes and are, thus, equally likely, that's the whole point. This question is problematic.

Too many hypothetical questions with gotcha kind of additional information included, reminded me of my first license exam in the 90's. you can word it better
This coarse does NOT belong in insurance CE. Poor material at best, more importantly there was not one test question relevant to selling insurance. Send this to a psychology CE. This coarse is a stretch for relevance. You should be ashamed of the content and context. WORTHLESS

After 26 years, I am now closing in on my final year of practice. I've sat through, viewed, etc. more ethics presentations than I can count. This one is by far the best. Not only did the presenters provide actionable information, advice, and guidance, but they did so in a way that will help producers (and honestly, anyone in sales of any kind) build sustainable, honorable, and most of all .... fun ... businesses. The CE was for 2 hours. It took 2.20 minutes to complete the course and the exam.
It would be most helpful if the exam could be opened in a separate page, so you didn't have to go back and forth between the two in order to research an answer for a question.
As someone with dyslexia i really appreciated that i could have the concepts read out loud and that there were videos included. Might be better if it was not a computer voice and was an actual person speaking to me. It just would have made it that much better.

I like courses that I can read, that have good outlines and stick to the subject. I felt this course could have been cut in half by leaving out most of the authors family background and experiences that I found boring and deviated from what I wanted to refresh on. For a brand new agent or producer this course might be helpful but for a continuing education course it was very tedious.

Having a video presentation rather than just reading text is preferable.
Honestly, this class has a section on shaking hands and not picking your nose in front of clients. It's ridiculous...I can't believe either insurance people are so gross that this is necessary or that you cannot find better content.
Some of the questions were worded a bit weird. I also wish I could go back to 2 practice test questions and show them to you as I know that my answers were absolutely correct - the answers provided as options had to incorrect terms in them - they were transposed.

It was very long. Listening vs reading it myself was very time consuming. I guess if we are to have the actual real-time hours, then this is sufficient. Otherwise, to read it ourselves, would probably be shorter time.

More interactives and quizzes would be very helpful. They would break up the long reading sections and give more real world examples of how coverages apply. Competitors that I have used have way more practice quizzes and interactive content.
I LOVE the lecturer's various Analysis Video presentations as she is quite thorough in explaining the 3 Red, Yellow & Green positions and make a final suggestion of what treatment is the best appropriate for the particular scenario in her example! These vivid videos make the topics very interesting and lively that I always want to see/hear more of what she will say next! But I do have a Constructive Comment to urge the Author to put all her sayings in her videos in writing at the very end of each Session so that we the Students can make referrals to when we answer the Quiz or Final exam questions. Thank you.
This course has been the best online Continue Education Course I have taken in my 25 years as an insurance agent! I have learned more on this course than I have in any other course. I will be able to use what I have learned and it will help me be more successful in my career. This course was absolutely excellent!

I liked the subject matter. Sr could have spoken louder and with more "enthusiasm". But I am comparing him to the younger Jr. Both were great, and I believe they felt what they were delivering.

A lot of the industry material seems outdated and irrelevant. Using sales practices of the 1920s and eyebrows/body language as a testing point seems silly and far from helpful. Test on ethics and sales practices, not Sally's eyebrows...

Much of the content and test questions were about commercial auto symbols, motor carrier regulations, acts, and symbols, and auto dealer symbols; information that does not need to be memorized in our profession. When working with commercial auto, motor carrier etc., the information is easily accessible to us and general knowledge is sufficient, not memorizing every single symbol. I would not take this course again. It was too specific which made it frustrating.

This was, hands down, the best CE course of any type that I've taken this year. The instructors displayed a high degree of emotional intelligence, which is DESPERATELY needed in our society today.
ETHICAL
I spent almost 6 hours to complete this course, it is supposed to be a 3 hours course.
The video was very informative, thorough, and easy to follow. My only recommendation is for the notes to provide a little more detail for the students to refer to in the future after the course expires.
Information was good. Video just got too long.
I wish there were more practice exams in the course. I felt blindsided by the amount of questions of certain topics and I think if there were more practice exams, that would have helped me a lot.
This took a lot longer to complete than 3 hours, even listening at 1.25x speed, but it was high quality material done well.
Maybe a small video that summarizes the chapter at the end of each chapter would be amazing. Thank you for the course. It was very helpful. I highly recommend it!

I enjoyed the course, but found myself frustrated by the video/photography quality. This may seem petty, but the shiny nature of the presenters face made it look like she was sweating to death and I just wanted to reach into the screen and mop her face. This is really sad, because her presentation was wonderful!
I have to admit. I was one of the people you mentioned at the end of the course who thought it would not be interesting. Boy, was I wrong! I've been in the industry for 34 years and this was hands down THE BEST ethics course I've ever taken. I got so much from this course. Thank you for taking what you do so seriously and bringing something of so much value to us.
I see nothing that needs to be changed
I don't like that the hours taking the test don't count towards cont ed hours. If the same amount of questions are given for a 3 hour course as a 6 hour course, the person doing more courses that are less hours spends more time on tests. Not fair

The 'read to me" feature is terrible. The reading was expressionless and robotic. I finally turned it off and just read it out loud or sped it up to 2x to get through.
Trainers Doug Dorn and Doug Dorn Jr were the best! I recommend this course to all sales people.
Good content, but the videos ran way too long.
Although I scored 100%, I did not like the test questions. I found them to be very longwinded when the course information was pretty succinct. The longwinded test questions, although I got all of them right, sometimes had multiple answers that could have been correct if taken subjectively, but remembering the course content, I understood the test creator's bias and chose accordingly. I think the test questions could be re-written with better clarity for the test-taker (this would also be more fair/ethical for the person whose judgment and comprehension is being examined).
Didn't like the traffic light examples
The audio was too "droning." I would have used it more if it were more "conversational."
I use all of my personal CE pursuit through WebCE because it has quality material that is easy to use. I feel like I actually learn with this system as well.

I'm an old school agent since 1978 and still doing business. The current curriculum reflects the needs of the current generation. Due to no fault of yours, these courses are dumbed down...understandably so for Millenials, Gen Z...Gen Alpha should be a hoot!

This was the first Ethics course that I actually learned something.
I found this to be a bit overwhelming with information and confusing questions. The questions were also written in ways that were confusing or a lot of useless details. I had the same answer offered as option B and C in one of the questions I had...it was the correct anwer and it was listed twice. These dragged out story problems also have names in the answers that are not applicable to the question at hand, however, applicable in another question similar later in the test. Was disappointed in the test.
Anti Fraud training would be more helpful in video rather than slide format.
I personally do not like the videos.

I took this for my Maryland CE. I felt that although the content was excellent, it was very comprehensive for a CE class. The test was grueling although I did get a passing 91%(i'm pretty competetive and was pushing for 100%) It took me 2.5 hours to respond to 45 questions. This is a very good course for learning, just a lot for CE.
I was surprised, the father son team was professional and gave me a lot of good ideas as to how to manage my practice more effectively.

There were a few practice test questions with several correct answers. One was pretty much verbatum from the course and marked incorrect. What?!?! I asked my husband who has been in commercial insurance for decades about it. He said it made no sense.

use human grammar/spell checking on exam questions. AI doesn't catch everything. For example this was a question on the exam: Why might this simple mistake can create a coverage gap in the event of a loss?
This course was excellent! I am someone who typically struggles with online materials and tests and the way this material was presented from start to finish was perfect! I called the phone number to get help with ordering my CE classes and to check to see what I needed and I was extremely satisfied with the help I received from Kayla!!! Each year I have to take an ethic CE and they are very borning and repetative with the same content. Doug and his son not only covered the assigned topic but gave great insight into ethics and selling. Very happy with content, presentation and the ease in understanding saled basics. I am 73 years old and prior to insurance I have sold a millions of dollars. Why, because I do as Doug has instructed. Sell trust first then product.

Insurance Distribution Systems - outdated information: Nationwide, at least, is not exclusive any more. In Commercial General, the last paragraph of Coverage Triggers makes no sense.
This was the weirdest CE i have ever taken
The ethics course was mediocre at best. The love affair with Peter Drucker was overdone and there were too many personal anecdotes that wasted time and distracted from relevant course material. Also, a lot of the material was inaccurate.
I was upset at first having to watch a video, but found it very interesting. They were engaging over video.. Excellent job!
Some interactives in the course seemed to conflict with materials in the course.
I would love more specific ethics and law sections designed for people who sell specific types of insurance. I would just rate this tutorial as mediocre.

I woud suggest you consider not using Covered Auto Symbols without definitions. Knowing the content of the auto policies is most important and too many symbols tare difficult to remember, and they appear in all applications.

I was expecting a more detailed examination of law - this course was more "light" and kept mostly to application in real-life scenarios. I recognize the importance of this fact, however I personally would have preferred a text based course with more details on the specific language of the laws themselves.

Maybe less questions that cover relevant information?? This was by far my favorite class for CE. The presenter was amazing and kept me engaged throughout the entire class. She made the examples real world accurate I would definitely take more classes if Christine Sensenig, Esq was presenting and they were of this caliber.

Too much granular information for one course, needs broken up.
This subject is a difficult one. My suggestion is to create a class about Business Auto Coverage, not including Motor Carrier and Auto Dealers policies. The reason is the aforementioned type of policies are not widely sold by insurance brokers.

Very informative course.
My only criticisms are that many questions were worded in a convoluted manner, and some had multiple answers that could be correct depending on the situation.
I think it would be beneficial to have a separate PDF that is not verbatim from the videos. It would be easier to review the information after watching the videos if the PDF was a different format.
The course was very informative, the scenarios were constructive, the test questions helped to confirm learning. I gained additional knowledge and also some freshers. The ease to work on the course over time was the best thing ever!

I have used your website for the last few years
Found it frustrating that I kept getting a message that I had timed out (while still watching the video and interacting). Had to enter the course again probably 10-15 times which slowed down the process and caused unnecessary interruptions in the course.
Ethics are real life situationally dependent. Going through definitions and theory are a usless endeavor. This was structured like a high school course and I found the content a complete waste of time. After listening to the first video I just skipped to the final exam. If I could undo my order of this packet I would.
The test questions should be more simplified and easily understood.
I felt that the content could have been broken down into smaller sections and the wording could have for each section could have been more to the point.

This training video is at least 10 years old. The scenarios are outdated, and video format is amateur at best.

I spent more than 3 hours to finish this course. The DOI video itself is one hour long. I think this course should affored more than 3 hours CE credits.
The material is not easy but test was fair. There was question that confused me because the story said fire and the answer I think was right said explosion. I LOVED THE READ IT TO ME OPTION FOR WHEN MY EYES GOT TIRED OR I NEEDED TO HEAR IT TO COMPREHEND IT. BRAVO!
The large exams do not promote actual learning. The smaller units followed by exams tend to work better in this online format.
Getting from the Colonial "My Learning Connection" page to Web CE is the problem. Once on your page things were fine.

Forced study by locking sections and forcing chapter exams a time waster. Too much talk, not enough info. Use of PDF confusing...Video only option slows down learning IMO...Mandatory DOI presentation adds an additional hour...elementary information...
Honestly, i would not buy anything from either of these fellows. In addition, I would nt use them as a guide to ethics. The course could have been called, "Get you clients to trust you and you can make more money!" Or,"Ten ways to convince your clients that you are trustworthy, even if you're not!" This course had little to do with ethics, but a lot about successful sales gimmicks.
If available, I’d like to see an updated version from the presenters. I took this exact course previously. Obviously I enjoyed it and wouldn’t have paid money to repeat it for my CE two year later, but if they have any newer content, I’d like to view that.
I will continue using and recommending WebCe

There is no clear audience for this course. Is it for HR employees? Supervisors? Business owners? The presenter frequently addresses a “Risk Manager” but she presents little actionable guidance, just the advice that every situation you encounter will be different and merits careful consideration. (This is so self-evident, it's not helpful to "learn" in a CE class.) The Red/Yellow/Green concept muddies every single scenario, occasionally causing the presenter to repeat herself or misspeak while talking around and around an issue. The content doesn’t dive into nuclear verdicts, only mentions EPLI in the glossary, barely mentions Directors & Officers coverage, and doesn’t broach the idea of how a professional in any field could help a client experiencing these kind of issues. I vote to send this one back to the whiteboarding stage — change the title to one of the presenter’s quotations: “It’s not a problem ’til it’s a problem” keeping the same general outline of legal points, but totally re-thinking the delivery/presentation, itself. Definitely not a win for an insurance license renewal course, but I can’t think it would be very helpful for internal Risk Managers, either.

I love WebCE but I have to admit, I did not feel like the course prepared me for the exam. I read and studied prior to the exam and still felt like I had no clue on some of the questions. Fortunately, I studied enough to pass but, comparing this course to others, I felt the exam vs course content were not matched as well.
The Course was easy to navigate. The presentations were entertaining and informative. after spending hours reading another course for 8 credits it was good to just listen, learn and ace the Exam.
I ordered my course late so the office was closed. I was confused by the insurance CE package because it was different from what I had taken before and I was not sure if the California life and health requirements changed. Also I did not know this course was not open book until I purchased the course.
The time needed to finish was far to long for a 4 hr credit
The information and detail is very informative, the sample questions are a good pre-test, and the fact that you can pause and come back to do more later is the best feature for sure.

I wish it was a little more clear up front that this wasn't a self study course but rather had video attendance requirements. That said, the content was excellent. I had to break it up because of the time it takes but it was easy to come back to.

This was one of the most biased trading I have ever taken. A small percentage of the answers given were proven by the laws, however this person's example were extremely prejudice. I will avoid this instructor for future courses. I do not want to be contacted after giving this evaluation....PERIOD.
I was interrupted several times while taking the course, so I had to keep going back through the information. It's all there and well presented. I aced the exam!
Some videos are longer than 10 minutes so the website would kick me out mid video.
Instructors were horrible. Terrible presentation that was droll and uninspiring.
Under the workers' compensation section, the audio will read "please pause the audio and review the content" for every red flag icon. It makes it very difficult to listen to when it happens over 30 times by the time you're finished. No objections to the course, itself.
Good coverage of material, bit there folksy manner was pleasant but made it very long....and they repeated a good deal.

One of the speakers had a very soft-spoken voice so it was extremely had to hear him despite my excellent hearing and good speakers.

Christine Sensenig, Esquire is an excellent presenter. Her cadence was perfect for me. I appreciated the red, yellow, and green thought-provoking moments. It was also eye opening. Interesting cases and scenarios. I normally do not look forward to videos for my CE courses but I will look for hers!

This course is several hours long and completed over a few days time. It would be easier if each section had a test, not just practice questions, instead of a big test at the end. It's hard to remember everything that was presented. However, the test was fairly easy

Why are there so many questions about non fault coverages for an ohio license? Ohio is NOT a no fault state so it's literally useless.
This 12 c.e. course was tough for me. It's too much information. I am better off taking 3 c.e. courses at a time. I was overwhelmed with too much information during this course. It was very difficult.
In the menu for ordering which course to take there are several courses that appear to be the same. It creates a bit of confusion. Why are there no descriptions to help in deciding which course to purchase. I literally just assumed the first one was the best option.

I have been taking courses like AML and Ethics, etc for over 20 yrs. This course lacked quality content. I found most questions silly or unreasonalbe. A better focus on real ethical behaviors, ethical standards, genuine meanful content.
The audio being automated is more of a distraction from me than if a real person were reading it as an instructor might in a lecture

I really enjoyed everything about the Web CE courses. My main concern is getting my hours recorded with the Department of Insurance as my requirements expire today at midnight. I didn't realize I needed more hours until I checked yesterday. I though I had carryover hours. Thank you so much!

Doug Dorhn Sr. and Doug Dorhn Jr. were wonderful! They were refreshing and made the class enjoyable. I also loved being able to watch them discuss the material as opposed to reading it like I usually do with other CE courses.

question 14. Oil tank, gas tank...take time and read a question and see if it makes any sense at all. The voice that reads SUCKS!!!!!!!!! god for bid a real narrator actually read and pronounce the correct words (Lead, metal: lead, manage) while using correct grammar and inflection:
the trainer was pretty dull. it is quite boring to watch someone sit at a table for hours simply talking at me. an interactive training, something with drawings, video, etc. would go miles.

Material was interesting
This course was made even more difficult because the same names were used in consecutive questions with different scenarios or the same names were used in the same scenarios with different outcomes. I found this course to be extremely hard even being able to go back and research the questions in the course text. I would not recommend this course and am very disappointed.

The red/yellow/green light presentation was a bit confusing, especially as the rules around it changed. Most problematic, the presenter kept talking about 'where you were probably coming from' but put too little focus into 'this is how you should consider it'

This format made Ethics more interesting. That can be a real challenge and you succeeded. Generating a Personal Code of Ethics is a great idea that I will implement.

Dad & son didn't pass my "eyeball" test as professional instructors, and their video's were cheaply made. They refer to Peter Drucker much too often and misquoted him in Ch 8.1: Drucker used those definitions to define the difference between Efficiency and Effectiveness in leaders. Also the practice test answers in Ch. 5, Q2 had an inaccurate answer: right answer is to understand which business you are in. Drucker's book gave the example of buggy whips not understanding their business was transportation. The son says the work "now" way to often in each session. And, Ch 6.2 was more about making better sales calls than ethics.

Not everyone has speakers on their computer and the CC is very fast.
Using auto-play, the voice during the last 2 sections said to pause the audio and review the material after every item on the checklist. Also, in the section about arson, the voice pronounced the metal, lead, as lead (leed), which is not the correct pronunciation under the circumstances.
On your examples used, can you vary the types of people used? Everyone has to deal with unbiased opinions of others, not just white men and Christians. Change it up, it is getting tiring to hear the same examples over and over.

A rare miss for you - not a great class. The video case study discussions were too long given how obvious they were. There's got to be a better way to teach this material instead of that long-winded 'red, yellow, or green light' concept. The practice questions weren't all that connected to the video content. Also, there was a mistake on the test question on pregnancy discrimination. This was my first class with you I thought was not well taught, though the subject is interesting.

By using videos with no written content, it took me 4 hours to complete a 3 hour credit.
It seemed the stated FNA approach results were still more focused on the benefits to the producers, not doing the right thing for the client. 4 of 5 reasons are producer focused benefits - 1. Easier close 2. Higher closing ratio 3. satisfied customers 4. better referrals 5. greater average sales.

I like that a video was available for this course. I learn better seeing and listening than reading.
The language in the exam was not always clear; I had to read each sentence a few times to understand what was being asked.
The test contained several typographical mistakes that should be fixed in order to clarify the intent of the questions.

You had questions that apply to underwriting situations (as an agent) not to adjusting claims as in chapter 9, 10, 11
Over the years I have taken many courses from WebCE, but this was the most BORING and long-winded course I have ever taken. The presentation by the father and son team was waaaaaaa too long and redundant and the section by the DOI provided minutia that is irrelevant to the subject of ethics.
Questions were made to trick you and not see how much you learned.

the final exam questions were way too lengthy. I had to re-read several times since the questions were designed to trick you rather than be straightforward.
It was very good. Just an fyi, on question 8 of the Exam, there was a typo. I think it is supposed to be 'owned' and not 'owe'. Thank you.
The first two
The authenticity and knowledge of this father and son team is to be commended. Enjoyed and learned. Was skeptical about the "life-changing" pledge. However, he was right. Kudos. Only suggestion is to update slides/PowerPoint presentation. The Maslow correct response is not the same in the corresponding slide. I referred to it for the chapter test and missed it because of that. Knew the answer but it made me question myself.

I have used Web CE for many years and like that I have my history to view when I log in. That's why I come back year after year!
Practice questions and exam questions were poorly drafted and confusing.
Loved the videos and the stories the instructors added to help you understand the content better.
The course was very informative. But, there were a few instances when you used 'he' or 'she', and you could have used a gender neutral word.
The teachers in video were informative and provided real world scenarios.
Fair credit hours per time required to complete the course.
totally spoken courses are not my favorite - also, I did find some of the comments a bit jarring and out of step with current moves towards inclusivity (wife jokes, etc....) I am not humorless, it just didnt seem terribly professional, given the course content.
I love the video tutorial format used. Perhaps in the future you can shorten the content and get to the point quicker. Thank You

Better access to the transcripts. listening to a video is very difficult to learn from. additionally, if the videos, with transcripts were broken into shorter sections with interactive checks on learning it would be much more effective, this particular course might not need it but for more robust topics perhaps.
Both Doug Dohrne Sr and Jr were excellent presenters. I enjoyed the topic and this gave me the opportunity to assess my skills as well as my personal mindset. Thank you both!

this particular course "Ethics and the Trust Factor. The questions per each chapter did not match the discussions. If I were not just renewing it would have been very difficult to take the exam at the end. Content and Questions must match.

I enjoyed the portion presented by the Dohm's very much. They made drab content interesting. However, the last section on fraud by the CA Enforcement Branch was very difficult to remain focused.
The guys in the videos need a new haberdasher.
This course took me most of the day to complete. 3 CEU courses should take 3 hours, not all day. Also, some of the content has nothing to do with Ethics, i.e. body Language and Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs???
This is three hours course, but the video is more than three hours, plus exam, take about four hours.

I did not like the video only format. Additionally, no option for closed captions, that would have been beneficial. The instructor was great, however.
The course relies heavily on Liability, Auto & Workers Compensation. As Commercial Claims Adjuster, I do not handle these types of claims

WebCE is an easy to use tool. The video option is very nice. This particular course had boring presenters. One of the two looked down at his own notes too often.
The video presentation of this course with nothing to read made it take much longer than it needed to.
When using the left and right arrow keys to go back and forward on the videos, it moved 2 seconds at a time. I think 4-7 seconds is better.

Don't like the trick questions or the "Jeopardy Game" questions that attempt to hide the answer. That tests the ability of the person to take a test or spot tricks rather than learn and understand relevant content. Next time I need CE I will consider other providers.
The training was just toooooo long
This was a video course about ethics but the video lecture did not feel professional at all. I was excited to see a video course option, but this experience has left me feeling very unlikely to order another one from WebCE.

The content seems outdated and could use a refresh.
The read-it-to-me audio was full of misspoken words and was poorly timed. By that I mean some sentences were run on sentences due to faulty pauses at punctuation marks. Also the Roman numeral "I" was pronounced as the word "I" and it tried to make words out of acronyms. This made understanding difficult at times, but was not a serious issue.
I found this course very helpful and easy to navigate for the most part. It would help more if there is any way to save the stopping point in the course material and audio read-me option when in the middle of a section. If I had to save and exit in the middle of a section, it would take me back to the beginning of that section when I signed back in to continue the course. On a positive note, I appreciated the ironic humor in the company names, etc. throughout the course.
I personally would like more visual learning aids such as video, images, etc.

This is the best ethics course I have ever taken.
How do CE Courses really teach or refine ethics? You either have good ethics, or you don't. I really feel this is just a check the block type of requirement. 3 hours out of my day when I could spend it with clients and helping them... being ethical.

The instructors were clear and engaged, using personal examples and took turns switching back and forth speaking/teaching in the various discussion modules to keep it interesting.
Enjoyed it and it was very helpful. Loved the examples given could relate to it in my own life. Would recommend this course to others and the format was much better than reading and taking tests as in the past CE courses.
The content of this lesson was not at all engaging and I did not come away from the module with any new information. I didn't find any value in this lesson. Specifically, there was no variety of learning modes, only unengaging video with slides that had minimal visual impact. Additionally, I went through the lesson completely without skipping any part of the module, and finished it in 2 hours and 40 minutes. I needed to waste 20 minutes of time staying in the lesson to unlock the exam. This was a very disappointing lesson and not up to the standard I expect from WebCE. I've been using WebCE for nearly 11 years and this makes me want to search for another company for CE.

That was the best ethics course I've ever taken in my decades of being a producer
I liked that it was a different approach to Ethics than classes I have taken in the past. New things to think about. The only downside was a lot of the humor fell very flat. The "asking a fat woman when the baby is due" and "Girl Scout sells cookies outside marijuana shop" are ancient stories that have been retold too many times (and have had memes for years). Otherwise a very interesting course.
The content was interesting at times & not super interesting at other times. I think some of it may have been due to Sr's lack of emotion or expression. Webce.com had better pricing than other places I checked & I needed exactly 3 credit hours (2 for ethics) so I was happy to find more than 1 class with 3 on ethics.

Great course! Material was relevant and had a lot of backing. Loved the back and forth between the speakers. Instructors understood the material and had great examples to help make messaging clear.
The California Anti-Fraud video had closed-captioning. There were so many grammatical errors, it was distracting. It didn't have periods at the end of sentences, no capitalization at the beginning of sentences, etc...
the presentations were mono-tone and boring. so awful to sit through. but they're free to me so i'll be doing more

I thought I would not be interested however the presenters did a good job of speaking interestingly and keeping my attention so that it was easy to listen to.
The examples helped make sense of some of the text. More examples would be most helpful. I like being able to stop and start a course as needed!

I found the sexual harassment section of the course to be poorly presented. It was too graphic and explicit in presentation. I also found the religious discrimination section to be prejudicial and legally inaccurate. Very disappointed.

Thought the course covered difficult material that only an underwriter would know. I feel fortunate to have passed the exam since i was never an underwriter.
This is by far the best instructor. She is engaged and enthusiastic. Her lecture was interesting and she kept me focused to pay attention.

I must have read this quickly, but did not realize this was a video presentation. I would have watched a live presentation for this rather than watch recorded video. The presenters were enthusiastic about the learning, but too much on Peter Drucker, the question on Maslows Heirarchy of Needs was not correct, and this was a very simple course. I did like the PEC that they suggested if there was a highlight.

Excellent Class
This course was something different than the ones I've taken before - it was 'video', not reading material, and it was offered by an independent educational institution. It turned out that it was very interesting - the course not only talked about ethics in the insurance world but also ethics in general that runs the bases of our daily life (including working in the insurance industry).
This was the best ethics course that I have ever taken.
This entire course was video, many of the segments were longer than the freeze out time for the course however. So while I was watching the course would time out and make me log back in even though I was engaged and paying attention! Very frustrating.
I've used WebCE since I've started in the insurance industry which was 2009. Very easy to use and great content.
This was a very theoretical class and the fellows talked way too slowly.
The questions are more into logical thinking of understanding instead of finding answers studied in the chapters, It's hard to understand and answer correctly due to the language bearer.
I enjoyed the younger instructor's wit. laughter is always good
I didn't like how the Senior presenter kept saying "God" in a lot of his comments. Ironic since this is a course on ethics and includes an emphasis on not offending people.

This course was selling itself and their method of ethics little too hard. It was really distracting and by the end it was really hard to trying to parse out the information they were trying to give since it got really anecdotal. I know that's just how ethics courses go, but I was struggling to stay engaged by the end.
After 15 yrs as an FA, this has got to be the BEST ethics class I have ever had!! I also spent 24yrd in the USAR's and have a MS in Counseling. Really liked these instructor's!!!

I have used Web CE for several years and love the materials. This one failed to meet the standards I am used to. Video/audio is great when accompanied by written materials which accommodates different learning/absorption preferences. The focus of this training is incredibly critical to business leaders but the singular focus on a video with a court stenographer document was a failure.
This course took WAY TO LONG for a mere 3 credits. Half my day was spend on just these 3 credits. I now have a day and a half to get the other 21
Took too much time to cover the material. should have been two classes instead of one with more CE hours.

When I first realized I needed to watch the video instead of just reading the material and taking the test, I was annoyed. When I sat down and went through it, I actually learned a lot more than if I had just read the material. I was more attentive to the material, and really enjoyed the presenters. I loved it!

I like the ability to access open book content during quizzes or exams. It's not just about memorizing, but learning how to find the answer and apply it.

I have been an agent since 1996. This is the best CEU’S ethics course I have done. Also explains the old school methods that I found unnerving in my early career. I feel more validated for doing the right things along the way even in the face of pressure from poor management philosophies. I hold MS CLU ChFC AIF.
Set the playback speed at 1.25 and it made it easier to listen to.

my personal learning is best reading material on my own
For a renewal the materials were presented as a first examining candidate instead of a review. The presentation was extremely lengthy. The degree of difficulty and the time to consume the material was not described prior to purchasing the courses. The site is also not suited for persons with eyesight and or hearing impaired. The rate of speech for the audio is far too fast to absorb the material and there is not adjustment for the audio speech which does not assist sight and and hearing-impaired persons. The lengthy reading created more sight difficulties and increased my inability to finish the course without strain and average completion time for a renewal candidate; however, the course served the purpose to renew. Thank you.
The video content was ok. However, I found it to be slow-moving at times. But the biggest frustration for me, was that every video was in the range of about 10 minutes long. The system logs us out after 5 minutes of activity. I had to remember to pause the videos about 4 or 5 minutes in, and then resume....so the system wouldn't log me out. Everytime I was logged out - I had to go back and re-start my videos. I really found this format very frustrating and will probably avoid the video-style training modules in the future.

On the intro to commercial lines course the pdf refers to content available on the web course. I did not find said content. So either update the pdf or make live links.
This video course is terrible. The presenters are dry, the content is goofy and silly examples and steer away from the true focus of ethics. The course is nothing more than using another authors content and trying to make it there own and has very limited value on actual ethics in the insurance industry.

I've taken many Ethical Courses in my time (over 40 years in my career as a Group Health Agent). This presentation was--by far--more interesting and engaging! I was reminded of things I've learned, but forgot, and learned some new tips. I've always been client centric and ethical, now I feel confirmed in that PEC. Thank you both, for a job well done!
I became a licensed Insurance Agent in 1990 and have worked for the last 20+ years in Personal Lines. This past January I transitioned into Commercial Lines (even though I did years and years ago work as a CL CSR) but as you can see that was many, many years ago. This was a GREAT refresher course of CL and it was informative and the material was so great to "understand". I LOVED IT!!!

this was my first time to choose a video-only presentation with a closed book exam. I realize I prefer to skim through information in a text format due to time constraints and knowledge of other courses but this Ethics presentation was unique and I didn't want to miss any of the details so it took much longer than I expected to complete this course.

I really enjoyed this course. Although familiar with many of the concepts, it was a great reminder of some things and added some beneficial ideas to focus on in order to improve.
Practical application of ethics training is helpful. Most ethics training boils down to compliance instead of anything actually ethics related and is usually not helpful. This was a breath of fresh air.

I learn better with written info and this had all videos which went against how I learn. If I was not an insurance veteran then I would have not passed this course very easily.

I am a commercial auto agent and have been for 35 years and I found some of the information confusing. This is also too much information to present to someone without a background. This course would be better broken down into at least two different courses.

Institute voice and language options.
The price was right and the quality of material was excellent.
This course couldn't decide if it was a course on ethics or sales techniques. There was an entire section on reading body language. That is purely a sales training. There were numerous other incidences of discussion of pure sales technique. While good sales technique is certainly ethical...it's NOT the point of this course. I wish I had not enrolled in this particular course. (I'm a 20 year licensed "veteran") WebCE is Great! This course needs to be re-evaluated.

This course required a lot of reading and re-reading due to some duplications of red flags in the various categories. Although a lot of information, it was very informative and much appreciated knowledge to assist in awareness of insurance fraud whether auto, health, workmen's compensation or home. Only negative is the use of the Auto Coverage Symbols without the brief definitions. These regularly appear on auto apps with descriptions which make them readily available. I have never tried to learn them because of availablity.

The video and the exam questions did not really go together
though the text addressed it, the speaker didn't discuss termination for cause when it comes to workers compensation. I would like to know more about scenarios about when can you terminate without fear of retaliation. Basically it sounds like anyone can file a retaliation claim and the only winners are lawyers.

This was an excellent way to present an ethics course.
I found that several times the course indicated that I had been timed out when I was active in the course. I found it troubling as i was shorted on the time credited on completing the course. It rook over 4hours to credit the three hours required.
This was more relevant and real life based. The presenters were great!

The guy who di the audio for this course was NOT good - very monotone voice - not much in the way of expressiveness. Put me to sleep. Ended up not using the audio - the audio for the Ethics portion with the lady speaker was great - was hoping she was doing this one as well, but she wasn't!

Going into this, I expected the materials to be dry and uninteresting. I actually felt the delivery and content of the materials were not only helpful for my specific job, but will help me do better at whatever I plan to do moving forward - both career-wise and personally.

Spelling and grammar needs improvement
I took Evelyn Wood Speed reading course I read at 860 words a minute with 85% comprehension. I dislike the bog down of video content as I can complete the reading material much faster. However, the course was very good, I found it to be ept for those who do not speed read. BUT I will avoid video classes next round of CE

The courses I picked only offered .pdf files but no audio or video options. I wish I had known that before purchasing as I prefer audible tools, even those on an app I can use on the go vs. having to sit a and read a .pdf file.

The wording of the questions MUST be revised by a professional linguist who a native English speaker (born and raised in the U.S.) as it appears that all these test questions were put together either by an uneducated person or by a Philippine person from Manila who was hired to prepare this material and the exam /test (i.e. 99% of all such materials and tests are created in Asia). You cannot outsource this insurance program overseas as the language or the jargon will suffer and become unclear. I would say the language is barely recognizable as Insurance Jargon that used to be the case in the early 1990s at all A.D. Banker Insurance test sites across America. I am very sad to see the Insurance Jargon to diminish into this nonsensical and poorly-phrased imitation of an insurance Continuing Education material.

While there was some good content in the course, in general, the course felt dated. It assumed a work model based on face-to-face meetings. 90% of my business is by phone and Zoom. And seriously --- handshakes???

great course. Very well done. Good balance between important content and a relaxed style of presentation. Lots of really good ideas and suggestions for both career and life. One quiz question and answer should be reviewed. There is a question about the mistake that the railroad companies made in thinking of themselves only as railroad companies. As the story is told they missed seeing that their actual opportunity was to control other areas of transportation like trucking. The answer matching this is indicated as incorrect in favor of one that discusses seeing what helps/hurts them. This language was not used in telling the story. I think the answer about missing the actual opportunity better illustrates the point being made "whayt business are you really in?) and is as good or superior to the answer which is shown as correct. Thanks for a great job!

I thought some of the exam questions and even some of the review questions had 2 answers that could have been correct. A little frustrating....

Because the conversations were so long, the material was always logging me out for the 20 minute delay
The auto play of the next section feature did not work. I always had to manually click to the next section, which was no big deal, but annoying because whenever the course launched it would ask if I wanted to turn on auto play.
This is my first time using WebCE. It was recommended to me by some co-workers. I found it easy to use and the content was engaging. I like the fact that I can stop and start the lesson. This makes it easier to fit into my schedule.
The company one works for gains if employee makes the right decision in all circumstances.
I would remember the little things if the lessons were shorter and more decisive about certain details. That way after years they would be memorized and every year you could focus on something different.

When going back to search within the course (during the exam), it was not the easiest searching through a verbatim transcript. It would have been nice for the transcript to be optional, but also be paired with bulleted list of key points.
Course was better and more illuminating than I thought it would be, lots of good nuggets of wisdom.
I had difficulty reading the information, often found poor grammatical errors which resulted from transcribing the class as the speaker spoke.

I very much enjoyed the presenters and the way the delivered the information with real life examples and humor.
This was an extremely difficult block of instruction. The "read to me" is so monotone and mindnumbing that I couldn't more than two hours at a time. I finally gave up and read it myself. What got me through the test was my current knowledge of Commercial Auto. I knew what you were trying to explain and still got confused. There's gotta be something more engaging out there because I learned very little with this teaching style.
This subject matter was tedious and dry which is not WebCE's fault. I enjoyed other classes much more than this one.
I was able to listen to the videos at 1.75x speed and still absorb the content. This is a great time saver. Thank you.

we were required to spend 3 hours in class, but the videos only lasted 2.5 hours. So we had to go back and re-listen to content--big waste of time!
For a course titled "hot topics" I was expecting the focus to be on more current workplace issues and not an HR primer of long-standing employment laws.
Please add videos or SOMETHING to make this course less dull. I believe it took me longer than 12 hours to complete. I would have preferred just watching an instructor for 12 hours and get the credit rather than read this manuscript that I struggled to stay focused in.
The quality of this course is far below the standards usually encountered on WebCE. The content is largely rudimentary and insufficient for supervisory- and management-level personnel. It is antiquated in failing to address genuinely hot current topics such as those relating to gender identity and expression. It is utterly without citation. It is vague in how it addresses the concept of "hostile work environment," and I did not observe the phrase "quid pro quo" mentioned or defined at all. And in some respects it is likely wrong -- such as by indicating that a male of European descent does not (or cannot) fall into a protected class, which is very much a matter of legal controversy. It provides little in the way of actionable guidance, in contrast to similar training such as that provided by Connecticut's Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. This course met its objectives only in the sense that it provided an overview of principal federal statutes (but failed to address the myriad state and local requirements that expand federal protections) and permitted the acquisition of continuing education credits in an expeditious manner. This course should be recalled and rewritten.
I loved the videos and that the speed could be changed to go faster. I sometimes get bored or distracted if the speed is slow.
You need to provide more than 12 months.

I have trouble comprehending long questions in these exams and it would be very helpful to someone with a learning disability to have accommodations for the exam
The course says it is 2 hour course and feel very strongly that on all these courses actual course work is more than double the time that course says it is.
I really liked the presenters and enjoyed the examples, humor and their way of communicating.

Presentation dry and boring
I liked the online classroom setting. The courses that are words on a screen that are read to you in monotone are hard to follow, but the combo of real people talking with tonality and story telling helped me to learn.

This is NOT an ethics class. This is a SALES APPROACH class with a few of Drucker's ethical comments. Come on gang! Ethics requirements should be dialed down to what is right and not. Yes there are shades of gray - the essence of ethics - and that's where the material should focus. Every other year I'm amazed at how crappy the ethics required courses diminish. Try to choose the least best right maybe kinda answer. Tell me I'm wrong. If you really want to gauge a producer's morals and ethics then incorporate real-life E&O,s. Hands down this course was pathetic!! Thank you for wasting my time. Oh, and fire the person who thought this presentation actually helps a producer to make ethical decisions.
I found it interesting that, in this course about ethics, one of the instructors could be so casually misogynistic when he stated that he makes mistakes and his wife keeps a list of them.
This coarse is a waste of time and effort. absolutely no help to the insurance producer or prospective clients ..what a shame and waste of money. Are these guys psychologist or insurance producers? Experts on human behavior? This coarse has no business in professional CE training. Shame on Web CE. Stick to the facts.

Ethics and the Trust Factor should not be listed as ethics, this course is about selling insurance with ethics and trust mentioned in the discussion.
This is one of our favorite ethic courses. It gives real information that can be applied by anyone.

This is the fourth class I have taken with with WebCE and it is by far the best. Listening to the audio on the previous three classes was horrible and so monotone. These guys were interesting and made some corny jokes that helped keep focused. Overall considering this was online videos I really liked them. Wish the other three were done by these guys.

This was a great course to learn the basics of Insurance. I had to re-read some things over again just to clarify but I know I came out learning a lot more about insurance. I feel more confident than what I came in knowing :)

You do not fairly represent the time in all of your classes just to read takes more time than you allow or give credit for. Your CE hours are way more time than your CE credit issued is. Please consider this.
The course content was good, interesting and informative. I did not care for the format, though - the two presenters sitting at a desk reading the presentation took away from the course.

I have used 2 other CE courses in my career and this one has so far been the best. I love that you can listen and read at the same time and that the questions tell you where to look if you get stuck

I had a hard time following the content of this course. It seemed like there were too many personal stories that the presenters gave and they didn't really mean much for the content. I was lost on some of it, but could get the answers correct from just common sense. I did like the PDF for the course, I learned more from it.
The material was good, and the examples were great. The presentation was hard to listen to, and I ended up reading it half way through because I found the presenters very monotone. They are well versed in the topics and their cadence was good.

The course handout was confusing. Of the 70 page handout, pages 1-9 were only "Topics Overview". So I was busy taking a lot of notes because the printout was so skimpy. I thought that was all that was available. But then I discovered that Pages 10-70 were actually the expanded course notes for the whole class. They should have been 2 separate handouts, or at least contain some explanation about the 2 different sections.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course, especially the credibility of both presenters. Very easy to listen to with sincere hopes that the producer will be a better agent after completing the course.

Maybe when you do not know the answer to a question and you click on reference that it takes you to the paragraph in the presentation where the answer is instead of having to try and find it.
The only negative was the read-it-to-me audio. It was pretty dry and robotic. Making that more human would make these courses 100% for me.

Someone should read the questions in this exam. It was the dumbest material. It am amazed that the state insurance board allowed this to meet the guidelines for ethics hours. WebCE should have higher expectations of their material.

i used auto play and it ended in under 2 hours for a 3 hour course? i had to rewatch a bunch of them and waste time to get 3 hours. AUTOPLAY you would think would last the length of the course. The handout had very little on it that could be studied. Some cards were just words with no meaning.
The test questions had multiple correct answers since they did not provide enough detail to support a single answer.

It was very hard to me
The one criticism, i have, regarding this course, is that i was not able to read more than a block of text at a time. The amount of text displayed with the read-along video was limited and hindering my ability to read ahead. This was the most time consuming class from WebCE to date.

In the 4. 3 - Policy Format Part, Eliminating or Reducing Overlapping Coverage Section there is a typo: Similar approaches are taken to coordinate the CGL policy with specific auto, aircraft, and watercraft polices.
The teacher's material and presentation of it is helpful and also enjoyable. I enjoyed the teachers and material both. I didn't mind moving through each page at all.
This course was excellent but a little long for only 3 credits
This is one of the worst ethics course I have ever taken. The presenters promote Peter Drucker more than anything else. Their questions and answers were too vague, too clutter and doesn't offer a clear answer. I dislike their course.

This course is poorly written; to the point that, at times, it is very hard to follow. Someone needs to edit the course and address repetition of words like "necessarily". In some cases the word is used correctly, in other places it is not and causes confusion. Additionally, some punctuation so entire paragraphs are not one sentence would make it easier to follow. Lastly, I'm sure I know why I got 1 question incorrect on the exam. However, the question about sexual harassment where we are supposed to based our answer only on the facts provided should be "no" it is not sexual harassment. It wasn't a good idea for a married man to ask a single woman to dinner to get to know her better, but that in itself is not harassment. Based on the facts, I don't know how someone could say otherwise. In order to choose "maybe" we would have to have more facts and we were supposed to use only the facts provided. That's frustrating to me. But, as someone with an English degree, the poor writing of the course was the most frustrating to me. --Thank you
I did not like the presentation of the material at all. The whole red light, yellow light, green light was very confusing as there was never really any correct answer. Many of the cases needed more information to make an informed answer.

There was clearly extensive effort in putting together a well organized lesson plan. The helicopter view was clear and I did a mental check list as we went through the course that these gentlemen were hitting the points they had outlined. They were each easy to follow and gave this dry topic life with the research and the real life examples. I expected the senior to be excellent and he was. His son has taken his Father's mentoring to heart. However, they each have their own style and it compliments the course to have them alternate. Ethics isn't easy to teach, and usually somewhat dreaded, but this time it was not dry. I like these guys. If they were local I'd invite them to speak at a NAIFA meeting.
You could use more examples for the different concepts.

When I saw Dad and Son pop up, I thought to myself, “This will be a long 3 hours”. In reality they were great and it was a far more enjoyable and beneficial CE class than I am used to taking in the flesh or online. Well done.
I didn't like the sales 101 information. I haven't used the sales tactics these gentlemen were talking about since the 80's. The ethics portions were great, the sales instruction not so much.

This ethics course encompassed many things to help producers, especially Leadership and quotes from leaders and solid selling techniques. Some courses I have taken were more to distinguish right from wrong. It was a great learning experience

A few of the test questions were vague and lacked clarity. More like "TRICK" questions.
I really appreciated the fact that the course was recorded and I could listen to it and watch it. It was much easier to retain the material being able to hear it versus having to read it to myself. I develop eLearning and have for almost two decades. This content was not engaging.
The video/audio was a big help.
On some of the longer sections, it would be nice to have some bullet points or paragraph breaks to separate the information. It can feel a bit overwhelming viewing a large chunk of text on the computer. But that's such a minor suggestion. Overall it was great.

This was (to my understanding) an ethics-qualified course. Course was 35% ethics, 65% marketing and sales in the form of how to convey trustworthiness to the prospect/client. I almost expected a snarky remark about trustworthiness being "just another sales strategy." In pure running time (i.e., not including my pauses) course was longer than the two hours of credit available. All told, I feel short-changed and wishing I had back those hours of my day.
I had to enter my producer number multiple times. I would move from one page to another and get kicked out and have to reenter, Otherwise this was a great use of CE time and money.

There is a quiz question where a Supervisor changes a decision after sleeping with their Administrative Assistant. This is clearly Sexual Harrassment because of the Superior/Subordinate relationship, however the quiz answer is Probably. The question needs to be rewritten as the fact that a direct supervisor makes an adverse action is ALWAYS by definition Harrassment.
I liked how the presenter addressed each of the 'red/yellow/green' responses and explained why most of the time, any answer could apply depending on the situation you find yourself in.
I thought the course was one of the better and interesting Ethics courses I have taken. However I thought the test questions could have been better. Some questions had very obvious answers and others did not. Some of the questions could have had two different answers and were a little confusing and wordy.

The course seemed very outdated with way too many references to Tom Wolfe and Peter Drucker-neither have any relevance in Insurance Ethics courses.

Had trouble with the streaming. Found the course not a good way to learn. Thought presenters were more interested in being funny. Like the traditional learning method better.

Although this was a good course with valuable information, I do feel it is less appropriate for P&C agents like myself to take. I think it would be better to have an ethics course like this where P&C examples and exam questions are used. Some of the life/health/securities and annuities examples/questions may confuse and trip up P&C agents.

Disliked video component - two people just sitting. Disliked the overly casual, meandering, "fireside chat" dialog. The written component should be edited and have integrity of grammar and structure. The spoken portion should reflect an organized presentation, which does not assume on the client's time, but is carefully crafted to present clear ideas, reinforce them and achieve the client's goal. It would show gravity and respect if the presenters stood and moved more. Content should be updated.
I enjoyed the added information (stories) that both Doug Sr and Doug Jr interjected into the course material. They served as great examples.

The presentation was VERY producer/sales focused. They also came off as having very dated information. Anecdotal stories were misogynistic and not applicable to the current insurance marketplace. They seemed to present as if all students were door to door salesmen. No I&D discussion with the course. The entire training seemed to be addressing tactics on how to sell to individuals.

Even so, the material emphasis was still on ethics and added topical ideas about leadership, processes to encourage successful ethical practices and encouraged students to further pursue ideas on the course. Really great Ethics class. Gave me some helpful information :) I enjoyed it very much which is an odd thing to say about a CE class!
This is the worst ethics course I have ever taken. It flirts with situational ethics and spends much more time on other things than ethics. You don't need Peter Drucker to be ethical or Maslow to know what is right and wrong.
The examples from Drucker and Wolff were effective.
I always thought I had test anxiety horribly in prior testing obtaining my license. I have managed to pass everything I've learned so far for my CE's with so much ease that I realize that it was testing environment & teachers & not so much anxiety. Please, for everyone out there like me, keep it up!

These gentlemen did an amazing job explaining how to develop trust, and how to carry out business in an ethical manner. This information can easily be applied to any line of business or even to my own personal life choices. There was a feast of good food for thought in this presentation.

The video was outdated as were the examples. Many of the scenarios were geared towards an individual producer, many of whom don't exist any longer. Tactics represented such as when a client moves towards you, he/she is interested are outdated and seem cheap.

I really liked the stories (personal experiences) that they added to the lessons. I enjoyed the humor that they brought as well.
Some of the Exam questions were a bit ambiguous or more than 1 possible choices could be correct.
I've been a customer for many years now and just wanted to thank you. After 30 yrs in insurance, I always manage to learn something and can complete my licensing requirements in a reasonable timeframe.
This Ethics & Trust course was the best I've taken through WEB CE and I have been using this service for at least 8 years. Good instructors & interesting content. Wasn't boring like some............

OMG!!! This course was THE biggest waste of time! It was literally a COMPLETE waste of time and yielded NO value. It was THE worst course I have ever taken through ANY CE program - hands down.
I found it much easier to pay attention to this course due to the conversational nature of the content presentation. I appreciate being able to turn the video part off as I am a quick reader and absorb more from reading than watching someone speak. The information provide in the course is very interesting to me and helpful/applicable in my actual daily work as a producer.
The written information was too long, even though it was all good info with good examples. Perhaps break it down to essential info with additional info available to explain essential info in greater details for those that may need it. The one thing I really didn't like was not knowing how I was wrong in my answers. Regulations must have changed. Another company I used prior to yours allowed reviewing of missed questions and then picking a different answer. Better for learning. Thank you.
I prefer to read it myself. It's much easier to go back over something, and I read faster than Doug.

Several questions on the test where worded oddly and hard to follow.
When Reviewing missed questions, the correct answers should also be seen so the student can learn from the mistake. Not just the students answer.

actually only read the presentation and also the transcript but in retrospect, would have done the video of the presentation - just didn't realize that was available
The proctor made one mistake. She referred to a CT scan as "treatment." This is not correct. Radiology images are diagnostic not treatment. Medication, injection, prescribed drugs, cleaning a wound, wrapping a wound, PT, OT and others would be treatment. Otherwise, VERY WELL DONE!!!

I have another issue with an exam question in Minding the Gaps in Commercial Lines Insurance. Question 34 concerned Boyer Company whose administrative assistant failed to add Jaime as an additional insured on a CGL policy. The question concerned what action is available for Jaime against Boyer. All of the choices are wrong. Although I selected “breach of contract” as the best possible answer, the other answers were patently wrong as is breach of contract. Jaime is not a party to any contract between Boyer and its insurer. She is not a third-party beneficiary either. Jaime can sue Boyer for equitable indemnity and possibly negligence. Those choices were not available as possible answers.
The material seemed very generic and I really didn't use the reading material. When I did, it still seemed unclear.

I have taken a lot of CE courses, this was the best one. The key, the video training. Plus, the trainers used good examples. I actually felt like they were trying to make my practice better. In the future I will always select this training company.

The course said it was also in a video format but I couldn't find ANY link or buttons from the My Courses page after selecting this course that allowed me to watch the video. It only took me to a page with a PDF of the transcript and the exam. I am very displeased since I specifically picked this course because it said it came in a video format.
Awesome Course
The instructors - Doug Dorhn Sr. and Doug Dohrn Jr were very pleasant to listen to, used language that is easy to understand and made the course very enjoyable. I have recommended it to several people already.
This was really Life & health focused and I work in P&C. It makes the examples less effective. Still fulfills the ethics requirement and well done. Would recommend for life producers. would not recommend to my Personal Lines staff of Account Managers and Claims Rep. thanks!

Most of this stuff is just common sense.
The instructors in the videos were easy to follow and presented the materials very effectively.
Too much material for CE and takes too much time. More than the three hours requirement.
Don't like the talk-to-me format and really, the Red/Yellow/Green belabored the points unbearably.
Some practice questions were less about ethics and more about facts such as who created a theory. I'd prefer the practice questions to focus on content that can be used/applied not a fact that a producer won't use or recall.

Would like an explanation when reviewing the answers I got wrong on the final exam.
I don't know if I was missing something in the presentation of the learning content, but I was VERY disappointed how weak the content was. This is a learning experience for the student to understand the subject in a way that improves their professional abilities and better serve the client's needs. I don't normally respond to surveys like this, so I hope it is taken as an opportunity to improve your product.
I'm very glad this was a PDF document sit-down-and-read style course, I much prefer this style.
The read along is too slow and I would like to be able to download the content as I am a better reader from paper then the screen and I like to take notes

A great option for CE credits. Especially during COVID.
The course was concise. Only improvement would be to have a video or two, in addition to the text.
If there had been an audio and/or visual presentation it would have been nice. Reading a transcript of an audio, visual presentation is not quite as effective.
It flowed well and the questions were related to the material. Way better than an experience I recently had with another provider.
Question 9 had identical answers on B & D and my audio had two voices about 8 seconds apart which made it unusable, so I had to end up reading everything.

I feel this course was not presented well. The speakers were kind of all over the place and the 3rd party stories were confusing and not really relevant .
Some material toughed on was not part of questions to retain the information. I prefer the studying all of the material at my pace and take the final exam. This is my first time using this format. However, I hope that the larger chapter/session that I am able to retain and apply what I learned.

there is no teaching in these courses - just a book to download and read. no interaction at all. also unhappy with the additional charge to file with the state. you have not charged this in the past and prices are not that competitive if at all.

The chapter format of this coursework was somewhat confusing, not as easy to follow as other chapters, it was a lecture told by first person, did not have any sub paragraph breakdowns

The definition of 'sell' is wrong and made me question the rest of the material. What he offered are derogatory definitions but they are the slang version of sell and not necessarily the actual definition.

This was the worst course I have ever taken with you company. The education info presented was appallingly flawed and lead to a very offensive and problematic practice question in one of the modules. The actual question presented was "With respect to Title VII, which of the following employees of the Walls Company, located in Indianapolis, is least likely to be in a protected class? A. Aaron Golstein, a single rising executive of Jewish heritage B. Aisha Jones, and assistant vice president whose parents' immigrated to the United States from Africa C. Bruce Spring, who was born in the United States to parents of Dutuch, Irish and Italian ancestry D. Earnestine Fitzgerald, a married executive secretary with a slight English Accent. The correct answer provided and its rational was the following: C. Bruce Spring, a white male who was born in the United States, does not fall into a protected class. This is absolutely appalling. 1. The question is asking the test taker to engage in racial profiling 2. The law protects race and gender from being used as valid category to which discrimination can be applied. The law doesn't protect certain subcategories of races or genders and not protect other subcategories. This is appalling and leads the education to imply that is perfectly legal to discriminate against white males or that white males are not protected by the law in the same way that any other race of gender is protected.

Most of the course I did not think it was an ethics course. Hand shake advise, eye movement, reading body language, other non related subjects than ethics. They spent more time on Wolff and Maslo and Drewery and Confusious than relative ethics. Sorry but I have to be honest.
