A Purchasable book. I do like the printable reading format... I struggle to read off a screen and retain the information.
The read-it-to-me feature is useful at times but the AI narration is sometimes off putting in how it reads numbers and acronyms and doesn't apply emphasis in tone to the right parts of sentences to make the point strongly.
Talking about red lining and not mentioning the reason red lining was done seemed like an odd choice.
In the ethics portion, a few questions had more than one option that was correct acording to the text, but were counted as incorrect when graded.

There is question that is very confusing about a man considering rebuilding a garage and he hasn't decided yet. And it asks something about how much insurance is required to pay. Well if we looked at acv vs replacement cost, it would seem that we would pay 1500, But 1500 is not there and none of the other answers make sense so I just picked 2000. It should just say what he chose, I don't understand the point of making the question confusing. We just need to know how to do the math to figure it out and not have a solid number to work with the way the question is posed makes it take way longer than it should

Video was not relevant. Vietnam was over 50 years ago. Her examples were long and drawn out. I would have learned more if I was given an out line with questions I had to research. If this was the format for all your courses, I would not participate.

I had previously taken a Flood Webinar course that went into a lot more detail and gave me a much better understanding of flood insurance. This was a much easier, watered down version, but a good refresher just the same.
Good course with strong and well-organized materials.
I love the user friendliness of the material. Also, the function that the course is read out loud to you.
Illustrations of different building types would have been appreciated.
This was a really concise yet detailed course that outlined the major changes from the 2011 ISO homeowners forms to the new 2022 forms. It was enjoyable to read and the content was easy to remember.

The only suggestion I have would be to include explanations of all the glossary terms in the other content of the course.
The exam was easy enough, but it seems that the quizzes at the end of each chapter might be enough to qualify whether someone has read the chapter or not. I'm aware that in a neighboring state to mine, a course is available with no testing required at all. Perhaps my opinions are colored by the fact that I work in Bonds, and while the company I work for sells flood insurance, I personally don't. It's a lot of time to spend on something I won't use. Although I did find the content interesting and it was presented well.

Material was easy to understand by exam questions were hard.
The only thing I did not like about this course was the length of the PDF, of course I'm aware of the necessity of being thorough in everything needing to be explained so y'all don't get sued for liability in not thoroughly training. But I do wish there was as well a summarized pdf that would answer the questions at the beginning of the, at the end of this course you'll be able to do xyz... For someone with little attention span it would help greatly.

Too many references to the policy forms & actual coverage amounts instead of just siticking with basic knowledge of where there is coverage and where there is not coverage. Remembering exact dollar amounts of coverage changes $1,00 or $2500) for qiuiz questions is not relevant to learning where coverage comes from and what is covered.
Flood and indexes aren't required, that was a bit misleading
I was happy with the audio reading and the option to increase the speed of reading to 1.5. Graphs and pictures were also helpful, and use of color.

Very basic. Good foundational information. For new agents, it might be good to cover the use of the tools used to determine valuation a bit more. As a former personal lines underwriter, I know that lack of understanding of the valuation tools was often a source of issues with over/under estimated replacement cost calculations.

The courses provide much needed information. The exams are based more on general knowledge rather than what was in the courses. For example, had there been a requirement to memorize all the endorsements included in the learning for the quiz, the quiz would have been much more difficult. Great information. Great exams! This was a REALLY long course for just having information read to you. I do not like the "read it to me audio." This course should be broken down into at least 2 courses so it doesn't span more than 1 work day to complete it and the final exam is less than 100 questions at a time.

I enjoyed and learned a lot with this course. You may want to consider moving the chapter that describes the various Acts, earlier because they were referred to in chapters but it had not been discussed yet, so it was a bit confusing.

This is approved for indiana and it is asking questions about colorado and is absolutely so general based that you can't even tell what it is asking sometimes yet other questions are so obvious that anyone unqualified to be an insurance professional could answer. This is outdated and inaccurate completely.
The course id too lengthy
There was just a little too much detail on the history of the NFIP which I did not believe was necessary. That made the amount of reading extensive relative to the objectives.
I liked that we could do it at our own pace.
The course was very informative and well laid out.
I really like how you include excellent examples after each difficult to understand concept. The flow of the content is easy to follow and avoids confusion by not going too much into detail things that are addressed in more detail in a difference chapter. I have used Kaplan in the past and find your classes a lot easier to learn from.
With a topic that has this much content, videos would be helpful to vary the presentation and differentiate learning.

This was an informative course. If an agent would be writing Flood insurance for someone, they would have to review this information more than once before being qualified to write the insurance. There is a lot of information to know.

as an agent for over 40 years i find it very unnecessary to make it mandatory to take CE..especially ETHICS and FLOOD. I should be getting credits for attending any of the companies meeting s i represent to go over the products i sell.. period !!!
This was a good course for someone that already had flood training. Just the right amount of detail and reminders of important items.
Course audio was very dull and actually sounded like a computer voice. Not very personal. Sounded more like AI audio / robotic sounding.

When studying and completing the practice tests I prefer to be able to search the pdf to find the specific subject matter, not being able to do a search in the pdf doesn't enhance my learning experience and is frustrating. Some topics are tough but I don't need to review all 50 pages of the course, sometimes I just need to reread the one section. Ease of navigation to get there as a "search" in the pdf is very important.

I listened to the audio and took all the quizzes and somehow had 25 minutes of time to fill at the end of the course. I used he time to reread the glossary and review the quizzes but it was odd that the content didn't take the full 3 hours.
The non-human, AI narration was monotonous, robotic and made it difficult to stay focused on the material being presented.

You may want to review the clarifications on "equality" and "equity" because the first half of the paragraph doesn't seem to agree with the second half.
The table of contents helped me find the answers I was looking for.
I appreciated the short segments of each topic as I found it easier to comprehend than having long chapters. Test questions were helpful and appreciated the explanation with each question, especially when I answered wrong.

Website is ancient. For a website with 'web' in it, I think you should invest in putting together some better branding and user experience. Shopify, Wordpress, Magenta etc should provide some cheap prices with premade templates for better presentation.

the questions/material was too broad spectrum. There were too many very specific policy language updates as well as questions and the questions seemed to have multiple possible answers. the format and final exam were the equivalent of expecting an adjuster to memorize a policy verbatim.

For a person who just moved to a state and have to complete CEU's. The stipulations for the mentor was challenging. We are required to get personal info that probably only a family member, coworker, supervisor or boss would entrust. I would not give some of the information asked for to an acquaintence. I reaches out to a person I worked with 12 years ago who lives here. Talk about a ram-in-the bush. Lord I thank you for being a providing God!

The computer voice is a killer. Would love to see you implement some AI to assist with the reading of the content. The male computer voice is mono-tone, and really puts you to sleep. Otherwise, no issues. The course was spot on with what I learned in school and the practice tests were a great break from the curriculum.
The course was easy to follow but I would like it if the reading was in simplest terms. It had so much legal jargon in the text that it was sometimes hard to understand. Therefore it made answering the questions confusing. Maybe putting the information in lamest terms would help us pass the tests on the first tries.
The questions are extremely difficult.

Personally, I do enjoy videos in y'all's courses! Sometimes, complex things are easier to understand when an expert breaks it down in a fun or easy to understand way. Would be cool to have some videos in there!
Course material sometimes difficult to relate to exam questions.
I am a new agent with 6 full time employees, I am fully committed to using WebCE for all of our continuing education processes
I would suggest breaking up some of the content into multiple pages. Some of the pages take 45-50 minutes to get through with the read-it-to-me audio reading continuously.
there are too many charts that the "read-it-to-me audio" does not read
several chapters were too long,, making it hard to keep concentration
This seemed more information-dense than two credits. A different layout than paragraphs can help when needing to know a lot of new random details that do not tie into each other well. Maybe more of the tables (summarizing changes) can help.

I have a recommendation - because each exam requires a 70% passing grade, you need to implement a feature in the testing system that once we answer enough questions that will guarantee a 70% passing grade, we should be allowed to leave the exam. Same goes if we do not answer enough questions correctly, we should be asked to re take before the exam is over. I do not need to get a 90%... I don't care.
More time should be set aside for the completion of this course because it takes hours and hours to truly process and ensure understanding of the material in order to do well on the exam.
I dont feel like enough time was allocated for material and test.
Like that you can save and come back, if needed. Easy to follow.

The time indicated to complete the course should be modified. When it comes to remembering numbers (and quite a few of them), sometimes, more time needs to be spent to commit it to memory. The course was also a lengthy one. While I was not actually timed, I believe the time indicated should be increased so that students may plan accordingly. Otherwise, the course was very informative, and it appeared to have all of the information needed to successfully pass the course.
Would suggest reducing the content size in half to allow for the course material to be completed in 4 hr segments.

I did not care for the computerized narrator. I had to turn it off after 1 chapter becasue it was detracting from my ability to absorb the material. Please consider hiring a voice actor or investing in better AI that mimics more human reading inflections and tonality.

The scheduled time for this course is insufficient. It took me a minimum of 2hrs and 30 minutes, but I was allotted 1hr and 30 mins.
Fair amount of repetition in this course
Some content was not clear. The actual exam questions were easier than the review questions. Exam questions were relevant to the basic ideas of the topic. This was appreciated.
This test was applicable to the policies I would write here in OK - I have struggled with the flood portions of the CE courses in the past as they tend to include more questions that apply to states who experience claims we typically do not here in OK. This was easy to understand and applicable. Thanks!

Very easy to use! The instructions were clear and the format was simple. The only thing I would suggest would be to add more examples off different difficulty starting with easy examples to understand and then harder. I say this because it jumps in to examples and it was a bit hard to understand the terminology at the beginning, but it was easier.

Make questions more direct and not so worded and confusing
The test questions seem to be trick questions as they are worded so long to make confusing. Make questions direct ie: The story of person making atm withdraw of $200 since that was max coverage then finally asks change in policy. If seriously testing if read and learned just write the question that the 2011 HO3 policy covered $200 the 2022 changes now covers and options. Story not needed
There questions pertaining to particular values are not something that should be tested as there is no reference to review. In adjusting or selling the policy one would look at a policy to apply/describe coverage; thus, similarly, either there should be no value specific questions or there should be a chart to view with questions as one would not memorize them all in the hopes to answer a question or two. :)

The materials for the course were great.
The I'm not a robot took too long and required too many entries. The speed of the audio was a little fast for me at 1, however to slow at .75. Course content was excellent and I learned a lot about something I thought I had decent familiarity with.
In the state of Florida public adjusters are not allowed to handle liability claims which includes a large percentage of the test questions.l
Some of your course work was incorrect. Especially around loss assessment coverage. The questions on some of the exams were misleading. Also, some grammar errors

As someone with ADHD having the contents with audio made it so much easier to retain information. It kept me engaged and faster to move through the course.
The read-it-to-me audio helps, but without videos or in-chapter quizzes to break up the monotony of the longer chapters, it can be difficult to properly absorb the information on the first read.
IT was simple and straight to the point. I wish it was some interactive videos or little skits especially for flood.

This is ALOT of information to try to retain without the aid of a teacher. The fact that you cannot go back to review the material is completely unrealistic, and you should be able to. I had to take this test 5 times.
This was a very lengthy course and I do not think that the time scheduled was enough to go through the entire course, understand it and then test.

This course was very easy and anyone who's competent with understanding the language and terminology can pass the final exam with flying colors. "Heads-up" the practice exam questions are not the same as the final exam questions. But it seemed easier to pass the 25 questions on the Final Exam. I scored 100% "Good Luck!!!!!!!"

This course was a hard one I must say.
Under Chapter 7 "Its Your Responsibility" Quiz Question #1 Mary purchased a flood insurance policy many years ago .... which of the following is NOT a duty she has to perform in conjunction with her claim. I answered C. "Submit to an examination under oath if the adjuster requires this." System Response: "This answer is incorrect. The answer is "B. Show the policy provision granting coverage to the claims adjuster." Mary has several explicit post-loss duties, but educating the adjuster is not one of them." I found this very confusing and funny at the same time.
graphics help. i am never a fan of education with just words. my job pertains to using the fema website and map? where are the graphics to go along with it? i had to search it up my self. i know we are all adults. but not everyone can learn, take in, and absorb from just words.

There appeared to be a few typos on the questions. One involving the example, "Sonya" and Coverage D which the material says is not relevant to this course. These typos caused confusion in the answers given.

The read audio is very monotone. It would be better if there was more inflection in the audio.
Deductible section needs to be updated based on current conditions in the market place - ie %2 for Wind & Hail and 1% on all other perils. Most companies don't offer lower options any longer.
Some of the quiz questions were misleading and not very well defined.
I like the way the course was designed to teach the subjects so you can learn them.

This test is by far the hardest test I've ever taken in any CE course, period. I had go to back and re-read several times and while I'm up for a challenge most of the time, it doesn't help much when there is no link given to help you find the correct answer so you're stuck re-taking over and over and over. Very time consuming.

The questions in the test was almost an insult to my intelligence. I 1st took the practice questions for each section to get an idea of what I needed to study. I then read the material and took the final test. The questions in the final test were significantly easier than the practice questions and I don't feel the practice questions were a fair example of the final test itself.

THE COURSE IS GOOD KNOWLEGE .
ours reads like it was written by two or more authors . the first sections were confusing, dis-organized, and contradictory. Poor examples which in many cases didn't fit the content. Example; re-using the retaining wall damaged by wind in the contents section of the course. How would a retaining wall be damaged by fire and subsequently by wind. nonsensical.

I needed to call to figure out where the course was and if it was the requested course needed by California, I feel this could have been really easy to label/find, but it wasn't. But the customer service on the phone call was fantastic and no hold times.

This exam/ education course seems to be more towards an underwriter per claims. Than towards knowledge needed for an insurance agent to run home insurance quotes.

It was all over the place. statements like we'll talk about that later and some other statements . no reference on where to find it. the host sharing was unclear. It's possible that the question on cannabis stating the endorsement is transversed . overall I find much of this ambiguous in the content thus creating the ability to answer difficult.

some ares were confusing especially I was sure there was conflicting information about the the subsidies not being eligible when an owner sells his house. Did not see anything mentioned about transferring the policy, yet was in the test.. There were several items on the test that I could not seem to locate ( or easily locate ) in the material .. The Examples given were excellent. In so many courses taken over the years the information provided has gaps that need to be further clarified with examples are they are usually not provided. Further clarification with an example / scenario is often needed to fully understand the subject matter. The examples and explanations given were perfect and helped so much.

The Ethics Class in which you see the persons giving he lecture was much better than the computer voice reading the content to me.

Reading of materials should be live reading instead of AI to allow inflection and emphasis and appropriate application of concepts.
This course, and I had a question that, at the end of the course did not align with the study material in my opinion, so it was hard to correlate what I learned in the course with the actual questions

I initially purchased 24 hours of CE credit to renew my P&C adjusters license. I was notified I purchased the P&C producer package. It does not appear to have been clear enough to state adjuster renewal.
I am used to going through the interactive material and then taking an exam. I had to read the guide on my own and then go back and take the exam. I didn't like that at all.

My company provided ExamFx and I tool the test probably 50 times and couldn't pass so, per the recommendation of my boss we decided to switch to webCE and I passed the first time. The study material didn't match the test on Exam FX, this was much easier
The course exam was not well related to the subject matter. No explanation of mathematical equations used, incomplete information to answer correctly, un-necessary information not related to the question. Typical confusion licensing exam.
Finding the proctor was tough since i'm virtual and in Indiana, but all requests were answered promptly by your teams

There was a section talking about how a "good student" gets an A, but a student who doesn't perform well gets a D. That really needs to say "the student who performed well earned an A"...or something to that effect.

Thanks again for an excellent learning experience. I found this course most beneficial to me as I am in Florida and we are currently having many homeowner insurance carriers leave our state. It is good to know the why's and how's the premium is arrived at and how the property is rated.
It would be helpful to include videos to reduce some of the reading time.
I'm taking a lot of training courses for my new job. I struggle with courses that are textbook like. I learn better with more interactive courses (Total CSR interactive lessons are an example). I did like WebCE offered the course to be read through with you, the chapter exams and the final exam.

I can't pinpoint what changed, but I found this course much more effective than the last flood course I took. It was easy to follow, not overly detailed. Just a bit of repetitive information which I find helpful.

I played audio at 1.75 speed, very nice touch. Along with "pause" I'd benefit from an option to rewind & forward the audio, maybe in 30 second intervals

Time is money in the insurance business. Your questions are long and drawn out in order to make exams harder than previously. Also your costs have increased. You will lose agents due to this extra time
I find loss examples the most effective way to learn how claims will be paid and what factor are taken into consideration.

It was the perfect amount of information to obtain/manage and understand for each section. It was informative and gave good examples for understanding the principals of each subject.
It took much longer to read the material than 3 hours. More lists with bullet points rather than long sentences which are difficult to "take in" at times would help that. The charts included helped but there could be more diagrams. Also more examples of concepts help.
Need to do a better job on the questions.... I feel that some questions in regards to section 6 were to loose.

There is what appears to be a typographical error in the glossary. Reduction and Reformation of Coverage: A standard flood insurance policy (SFIP) provision that establishes conditions under which the policy will be considered to provide lower limits of insurance than those shown in the declarations because the *amount of insurance* submitted with the application was not enough to support the requested limits. The starred phrase should read "premium" rather than "amount of insurance".
Information was not well organized and jumped back and forth alot. Lots of "circling back". Pertinant information should be in an outline form - not in a novel form, where we're searching through paragraphs for pertinent words. Lots of ambiguity and lack of pertinent info in the quiz questions - and WAY too wordy with stories and non conducive info in the questions - clearly designed to confuse.
This course has provided me more knowledge than one could ever dream of. I love the material that was presented to me. Thank you,

I am a broker that does not sell or have any knowledge of flood insurance. I do think this will help me retain it. I would rather have a reference book. i wish I could have brushed up on p/c. I wasn't allowed to take it since I took it 2 years ago. I only work part time and need that more tahjn anything.

I thought the course was well in prepared in the pre-learning prior to testing in that it made some great examples when referencing the particular policy aspects. The preliminary information was however EXTEREMELY broad in scope and no one short of a P&C Ph.d verteran adjuster would be able to handle it all. With that said you compensated by coming "back down to Earth" in the final test content in that you narrowed it back down and also offered some "Logic Opportunity" as a function of the test criteria for those that have a brain that works. So all in all it was a great refresher, but possibly to overwhelming for a young adjuster, and with an acceptible test difficulty level for those that did not freak out in the presentation material.. Not too bad but again thats coming from a 25 year Property vet with some background in all lines and an AIC...

I prefer straight forward learning. The courses have an excessive amount of EXCEPT and twisted wording!....I want to LEARN from this material not try to figure out the double negative format!

Taking this course made me think - is the required hours a number they just felt was needed or necessary? Or was the course work put together and it takes this many hours to complete so that's the hours we will require? 1 issue is the 8hr and 12hr courses finished an hr sooner then the hrs stipulated. and the course seemed repetitive. I think the course could shrink by 3hrs and clean up some of the repetitive material and get the times to equal the actual time it takes to listen to the material. Other than that this course and tests were great! Very appreciative of the online option to do at home at your own pace!! It's an awesome way to get CE done!!!

The course sections appear to be long continuous flows of ideas without clear and precise distinction between actual 2011 ISO HO3 policy excerpts and the author's text.

Several of the Exam questions were difficult to answer because the content was not fully covered in the course. For example, 14. Because he serves on the board of the condominium association he belongs to, Edmond recognizes that the association’s property and liability insurance might not have limits high enough to cover a large property loss or a large liability claim against the association. For example, "what if the condominium building were to collapse? If the association’s insurance does not fully cover a loss, the association will have to assess association members (condominium unit owners) to recoup the difference. What can Edmond do to protect himself against the possibility of a large assessment?" As the president of an association board, I choose "A" but other answers could also be true. I found that to be possible with several of the questions. (Note: on page 39 "Saul" suddenly becomes "Paul" in the answer. There are a few errors like this in the course.)
More lament terms please
The course took longer than 2 hours for me to complete. However, I understand the reasoning for it only being worth 2 credit hours. I would have liked to see more visual activities/presentations. I did like the quality of the content. I have a much better understanding of the new 2022 HO policies and how they have changed. 10/10 would recommend.
The course was great overall, but there are parts that I think would be confusing to someone who is a beginner to the industry. The wording in the endorsement section was at times unclear.
The Homeowners 2011 Policy: Understanding the Coverages Course is one of the most difficult On-Lone Continuing Education Courses that I have ever taken. The content contained an enormous amount of information to be absorbed quickly. For me, the Read-It-to-Me Audio is a useless feature. I tried it and found it difficult. When reading/Listening to so much information, I had to take notes. The Read-it was not helpful, resulted in distraction, and becoming disorganized. I will say that I needed the course and learned quite a bit. This course is much more effective that a simple "listen and learn" course with no Exam. That type of course is useless and no one learns anything. I really hope to see some examination of your course, It has many great features, but it needs to be condensed, note taking made easier for the student, a Course Booklet provided so that we don't ruin our eyes with concentrated watching of the computer screen, and become extremely frustrated with the difficulty of trying to concentrate. BUT: thanks for the course, I learned a lot, and achieved my objectives. Thanks again.
This course is too long. It may be more effective to split it into different courses.

I found the information in the chapters valuable and well stated. However, the test itself was a joke. The wording was horrible and some of the answers were wrong unless the details of the chapter were wrong. After failing twice, I was reading and rereading every question and answer and still got multiple questions wrong when the answer I gave was a direct quote from your own curriculum. Sloppy
Test questions were VERY poorly written, and I believe many were incorrect. We've taken your courses for years, and have NEVER had this kind of trouble. Has something changed? I hope not. If the other courses are like this first one, I will go elsewhere.

Liked the examples used in the material... after a long wordy paragraph, or sets of paragraphs, the examples were an effective way to communicate the content.
The audio voice will put you to sleep. Audio quality could use improvement as well. However, having the audio option is critical to me because it does hold my attention better than me reading the material on my own.
There needs to be a quicker way to get to the keywords after you search for them. That makes it more time-consuming. Claim Reps usually always have lots of work to get back to.

I would ask that you fix the wording on number 17 of the homeowners Policy Test.. None of the answers consists of the roomers, but the questions asks "which of the roomers would have coverage for their belonging under Sandy's policy"

The information was quite redundant. In addition, some sections were way too long and jam packed that it seemed like they would never end. It’s much easier to grasp the information when broken down into multiple pages or sections.
Excellent courses.
The computer voice is almost good. but annoying too many times. It mispronounced words, paused too long at commas, and said things like "one colon zero zero" for 1:00 or said "dash" instead of "minus" in a math question. It was overall distracting too many times.

I found the examples citing people and the insurance situation showing how the claim would play out.
The frequent examples helped with my understanding of the material.
My main grievance dealt with the ambiguousness and lack of clarity in the questions asked on the tests. The question under the liability section that asks "Who is not covered by the HO 3 policy" -The question did not advise what coverage type they were talking about (personal contents, liability, etc...). I still do not understand the reasoning for the answer on that question.
