The read to me audio could use some improvement. The robotic nature of the voice takes away from the content of the course. I enjoy the feature of the read to me so I can more easily take notes however the voice itself could be improved.
Required time IN the course is not optimal. The concept of CE is to test the knowledge of a professional within their profession. IF a person can do it in less time than the mandated time . . . should be ok with the state.
I liked that there was audio with the text.
I read faster than the normal person and it appears I had to stick around and wait for the test to time out. also, it was not clear that i did not have to pass a final exam. still not clear about my transcripts.
The website should give the option to print the material on pdf for future reference.

I would like more control of the audio speed. I could not get it to the speed best suited for me. It was either too slow or too fast.
A Purchasable book. I do like the printable reading format... I struggle to read off a screen and retain the information.
The read-it-to-me feature is useful at times but the AI narration is sometimes off putting in how it reads numbers and acronyms and doesn't apply emphasis in tone to the right parts of sentences to make the point strongly.
In the ethics portion, a few questions had more than one option that was correct acording to the text, but were counted as incorrect when graded.
The chapter exams helped me to be prepared for the final exam

I had previously taken a Flood Webinar course that went into a lot more detail and gave me a much better understanding of flood insurance. This was a much easier, watered down version, but a good refresher just the same.

The only suggestion I have would be to include explanations of all the glossary terms in the other content of the course.
The exam was easy enough, but it seems that the quizzes at the end of each chapter might be enough to qualify whether someone has read the chapter or not. I'm aware that in a neighboring state to mine, a course is available with no testing required at all. Perhaps my opinions are colored by the fact that I work in Bonds, and while the company I work for sells flood insurance, I personally don't. It's a lot of time to spend on something I won't use. Although I did find the content interesting and it was presented well.

I would like to have the material read aloud while I read it. However, the AI voice is unnatural and difficult to listen to. It would be nice to upgrade the quality of the AI voice and/or have a dropdown menu to allow for users' choice of voice.

If we could review questions missed
The courses provide much needed information. The exams are based more on general knowledge rather than what was in the courses. For example, had there been a requirement to memorize all the endorsements included in the learning for the quiz, the quiz would have been much more difficult. Great information. Great exams! I'll be back in two years, have been with you for a long time.

The practice questions at the end of each chapter were very helpful. I could see what information I was retaining and what I needed to work on. Practice questions were similar to the exam. I learned a lot through this course.

At the bottom of page 6 - the example that is used has John and Mary backwards as far as who is staying in the house after the break up. This needs to be changed.
Not a fan of the time limit. If you know the course material and can complete it quicker than the time allotted, then you should be able to do so.
This was a REALLY long course for just having information read to you. I do not like the "read it to me audio." This course should be broken down into at least 2 courses so it doesn't span more than 1 work day to complete it and the final exam is less than 100 questions at a time.
This course took way longer than 2 hours. I actually did the class and I have many years an agent. It should be at least a 3 hour credit.
Please add some forward and reverse buttons for the audio or the ability to click on text and have the audio jump to that spot. Thanks
There were issues w/the read to me function. I would try to mute it or pause it, so I could just read the material and it would start to read twice - overlapping.
I enjoyed and learned a lot with this course. You may want to consider moving the chapter that describes the various Acts, earlier because they were referred to in chapters but it had not been discussed yet, so it was a bit confusing.
This course was way too long. Please remember that your students are normally full time professionals . The others were fine, this one was just way too long!

I have worked in insurance for 20 plus years and I felt that most of the content was difficult to understand and follow. I spent many many hours studying and rereading all the informaiton.

This is approved for indiana and it is asking questions about colorado and is absolutely so general based that you can't even tell what it is asking sometimes yet other questions are so obvious that anyone unqualified to be an insurance professional could answer. This is outdated and inaccurate completely.

There was just a little too much detail on the history of the NFIP which I did not believe was necessary. That made the amount of reading extensive relative to the objectives.

The course was user friendly and informative. However, unless I overlooked it, I did not see any prior mention of required time spent in each section to take the final tests per section. I feel this restriction defeats the purpose of a self-guided course and subsequently was more time consuming than anticipated and in my opinion, necessary.

This was a good course. I am in the commercial insurance field but learned alot about my homeowners insurance policy.
All of the test are not necessary.
Some real life in history examples and how claims and restoration efforts were handled would be interesting.
While the class contained a lot of information the various topics were grouped together (ie... rating, legislation, etc..) which made the data easier to retain. I learned a few new things that I did not know. THANK YOU! :)

some of the wording is different for the actual test questions, which can be confusing with all the information that's in the chapters. It would be helpful to keep the same terminology. example: additional living expenses was stated on the test questions as "additional living"

This was a good course for someone that already had flood training. Just the right amount of detail and reminders of important items.
Course audio was very dull and actually sounded like a computer voice. Not very personal. Sounded more like AI audio / robotic sounding.

The recommended timeframe to complete the course is outrageous. 10 hours to complete this section and you can't move forward until you have reached that desired time limit. Really?!?! Please take into consideration that some people read and comprehend entirely quicker than others; and some people have been in this business for a number of years and are well familiar with coursework. to be required to remain in a section for 10 hours when it can easily be completed by some within a 5-7 hour timeframe is more than inefficient.
The courses are very informative & the wording makes it easy to understand. Probably the best CE website I have used since 1999!!

I listened to the audio and took all the quizzes and somehow had 25 minutes of time to fill at the end of the course. I used he time to reread the glossary and review the quizzes but it was odd that the content didn't take the full 3 hours.
The non-human, AI narration was monotonous, robotic and made it difficult to stay focused on the material being presented.
The time provided is insufficient, especially if using the read to me feature.
Just a very indepth, long course. I take notes along with hearing the course so it took a lot longer than 3 hours.
I appreciated the short segments of each topic as I found it easier to comprehend than having long chapters. Test questions were helpful and appreciated the explanation with each question, especially when I answered wrong.

Provide videos to explain claims handling.
It doesn't take 10 hours to go through the course information for an experienced licensed agent. A quick read through refresher is all that is needed to pass the test. This is the objective isn't it. To be sure a licensed agent is knowlegable about the HO3 policy form.
I found the computer generated voice to be distracting and difficult to follow.

Exam was easier than course material
It was difficult to create the total CE package I needed to cover Ethics, HO, Life & Health, and P&C. Your system kept forcing me to search courses only in one topic. I wanted to browse available courses in all my topics at the same time and put them in my cart. It took many days for me to compile the courses I wanted, because I couldn't figure out how to see P&C and L&H courses at the same time.
I like the option to click back to the relevant course material from the testing page.

Instructions were very clear and material very helpful.
The presentation of the information is not geared towards visual learners. Visual graphics would be more memorable.
Another example of making questions as hard or harder than the state exam to earn the agents license. There is NO reason for continuing education to be so tough and have an agent risk losing their license. It is continuing education, a refresher, not the state exam.
I am not a fan of doing the tests on computer; however your site was easy to use and the layout/fonts were easy on my old eyes!
AI voice reader could be better at emphasis and smoothness in it's diction. Was at times hard to follow and had to go over what was said numerous times.

Perhaps some highlighted language/text for some of major/important facts when the discussion is so acronym and historical date heavy. The glossary was beneficial albeit intimidating at first glancing scroll.

When using the audible version, the class is not the required time to take the test & I did call about this & have yet to get a return call. This should be addressed or at least be told to the people that are paying to take your courses that assume, the hours of the audible will satisfy the hours of the course.

Not a lot of information regarding the test questions could be found within the course material when I looked back after I finished the exam and was graded. Many of the questions on the test were broad and outside of the scope of what the course material presented for the actual test-

I love the read-to-me option. It helps me to stay focused on the material and provides a learning method in addition to reading. I appreciate that the material is relevant to the everyday exposures of an agent. I have taken many courses from other companies that did not make sense for the average agent and were not even coherent English.

This specific course seemed to have repetitive parts.

The computer voice is a killer. Would love to see you implement some AI to assist with the reading of the content. The male computer voice is mono-tone, and really puts you to sleep. Otherwise, no issues. The course was spot on with what I learned in school and the practice tests were a great break from the curriculum.

Personally, I do enjoy videos in y'all's courses! Sometimes, complex things are easier to understand when an expert breaks it down in a fun or easy to understand way. Would be cool to have some videos in there!
Good Material
Course material sometimes difficult to relate to exam questions.
I would suggest breaking up some of the content into multiple pages. Some of the pages take 45-50 minutes to get through with the read-it-to-me audio reading continuously.
I wish I could have this lesson available all the time to get back into it.

Having to go to my fellow independent agent's office multiple days to pass each exam is not appealing. Based on that, I probably would pass on this website the next time I need to renew my Insurance License in two years.

I don't know if I saw it, but when it is being read to me, I would like the option to slow down or speed up the information. Some of the information, I am well versed in and others I need to slow down to make sure I am getting the information correctly. Another thing that would help is having a quick one off question here and there for the sections that just were read. Great material though. I think lastly, there were a few times I didn't understand something. I wish there was a "raise your hand option" were you could email someone your question and get an actual answer back that would address any confusion. Thank you.

The course is easy to follow
The time indicated to complete the course should be modified. When it comes to remembering numbers (and quite a few of them), sometimes, more time needs to be spent to commit it to memory. The course was also a lengthy one. While I was not actually timed, I believe the time indicated should be increased so that students may plan accordingly. Otherwise, the course was very informative, and it appeared to have all of the information needed to successfully pass the course.
Would suggest reducing the content size in half to allow for the course material to be completed in 4 hr segments.
The audio is too fast and .75 (one step down) us too slow. It did not assist in any way for this training.

the audio playback is hard to use because the voice is so monotone robotic. It would be more interactive if a real voice was recorded reading the course material. I like the course though. very detailed and informative.

The main complaint that I have is we are not given nearly enough time to actually read the material. I skipped a lot of the material due to running over time.
I did not care for the computerized narrator. I had to turn it off after 1 chapter becasue it was detracting from my ability to absorb the material. Please consider hiring a voice actor or investing in better AI that mimics more human reading inflections and tonality.
This is very hard subject to present to a student because it is a government program and therefore complicated. I wish i had chosen another course.

The craftily-worded questions are quite annoying, as it seems like they're made to trip people up. It seems excessive to use trick questions in CE courses.

Truly disliked the apparently AI-generated voice reading the material. Mis-pronounced words and uneven speech pattern was very distracting. Eventually went back to just reading the material.
Examples were very easy to understand and to use to explain to customers.
Good Content and Quality
The "read it to me" narration had great difficulty pronouncing acronyms and abbreviations such as flood zone indications in this course and roman numeral. The automation tried to make/pronounce words from acronyms and abbreviations that were not correct.
It would be nice to see the final answers to the incorrect questions. Thank you

The scheduled time for this course is insufficient. It took me a minimum of 2hrs and 30 minutes, but I was allotted 1hr and 30 mins.
Fair amount of repetition in this course
Some content was not clear. The actual exam questions were easier than the review questions. Exam questions were relevant to the basic ideas of the topic. This was appreciated.

This test was applicable to the policies I would write here in OK - I have struggled with the flood portions of the CE courses in the past as they tend to include more questions that apply to states who experience claims we typically do not here in OK. The Read-it-to-me audio is so very useful for slow readers like myself however, what would be most advantageous would be if there was a speed level between 7.5 and 1.0 option.
Some of the exhibits are a bit of a joke. Blurry print, small font and the inability to open a PDF or more legibal format document.
Page after page of written text was not a very captivating read. The addition of some photos, graphs or other visual stimulus would have made the content more entertaining.

I really appreciated the "Read to Me" Feature. I get lost in all the words and the time frame for reading. I didn't get to complete all the reading but what I did get done, I was able to understand more fully.

I didn't like the quality of the voice when using Autoplay/Read it to me. It is very monotone and annoying.
Took at least 30 mins longer than the 2 hrs I was awarded, but I actually read ALL the material plus questions & answers.
Studying and testing is never enjoyable, but some of the multiple choice answers were hysterically funny. I found myself laughing out loud a few times...and who doesn't need to laugh out loud now and again to break up the monotony? ;-D
I learned a ton in this course. It was actually really interesting and there is a lot I will use in my daily work.

Great course! Clear information well presented. Organized well. Great use of time.
Very easy to use! The instructions were clear and the format was simple. The only thing I would suggest would be to add more examples off different difficulty starting with easy examples to understand and then harder. I say this because it jumps in to examples and it was a bit hard to understand the terminology at the beginning, but it was easier.
I enjoyed the platform, especially the read to me feature.
I am an auditory learner and being able to follow along as it was reading helped me tremendously

This course should definitely not be included as 4-hour content for MN license requirements. The course is very short and, even following along with the timed narrator, does not take 4 hours to complete.

Progressive is not giving adequate time to fully rad or listen to the information provided. This is requiring me to skip a lot of the content and im still not finishing in the allotted time

Issue with Captcha upon signing in at first no option for it had to do TS to get in. Interactive time given in schedule was less . Took longer than time. Reading too fast on audio.

This course was fantastic because it appeared to be written by an actual human; the language was relatable and understandable, unlike other WebCE courses I've taken which are basically the policy form language cut and pasted onto the screen. Thank you!

The course material was easy to understand and quite helpful. I really learned something new in this class.
When reviewing my incorrect answers, after taking the final exam, I would have liked seeing the correct answers. Not just my incorrect choices.
A couple of times I felt the questions used different terminology than in the reading. For example, under home valuation the reading calls for the cost per square foot to be an option. In the question on this topic, it used the value per square foot. Those are two different concepts and creates ambiguity.

In the state of Florida public adjusters are not allowed to handle liability claims which includes a large percentage of the test questions.l

I loved the read it to me audio. My only complaint with it was that the reader needed a better pause between headings or sections so that everything didn't sound like one long run on sentence. But overall, I appreciated that option.
I had hoped for a more detailed description for the agent's responsibilities and processes in particular regarding direct purchase of NFIP policies

There were times in this course where the read to me feature provided the incorrect pronunciation of words, which was distracting. I'd also recommend a slower cadence when reviewing formulas or specific numeric/computational examples that people need to think about.
As someone with ADHD having the contents with audio made it so much easier to retain information. It kept me engaged and faster to move through the course.

This is ALOT of information to try to retain without the aid of a teacher. The fact that you cannot go back to review the material is completely unrealistic, and you should be able to. I had to take this test 5 times.
This was a very lengthy course and I do not think that the time scheduled was enough to go through the entire course, understand it and then test.
Maybe having some videos or something other than just reading for hours. Not everyone can read to retain knowledge and then answer questions. I had to go back and read a lot over which took me longer than the allotted time. Maybe some picture or video examples may make the information more retainable. Or a longer time for people who just aren't that great at reading and then answering questions of what they read. pother tan that everything was great.

This course was very easy and anyone who's competent with understanding the language and terminology can pass the final exam with flying colors. "Heads-up" the practice exam questions are not the same as the final exam questions. But it seemed easier to pass the 25 questions on the Final Exam. I scored 100% "Good Luck!!!!!!!"

i would have liked more video of examples displaying some of the terms and examples of coverages (like the difference between a mudslide and earth movement) otherwise , it was great.
The time allowed to complete the module and exam were not sufficient, when compared with the flow of the audio portion of the course. There should either be more time allowed, or a recommended speed setting for the audio portion of the course, to match more closely with the time allowed.
I would like to see an occasional video. The voice reading the content was a bit monotonous. I liked being able to stop the recording, read the text and then continue with the lesson. Overall, I think the content provided a good review along with some more current information than I got when I studied for, and took the licensure exam.

Under Chapter 7 "Its Your Responsibility" Quiz Question #1 Mary purchased a flood insurance policy many years ago .... which of the following is NOT a duty she has to perform in conjunction with her claim. I answered C. "Submit to an examination under oath if the adjuster requires this." System Response: "This answer is incorrect. The answer is "B. Show the policy provision granting coverage to the claims adjuster." Mary has several explicit post-loss duties, but educating the adjuster is not one of them." I found this very confusing and funny at the same time.
graphics help. i am never a fan of education with just words. my job pertains to using the fema website and map? where are the graphics to go along with it? i had to search it up my self. i know we are all adults. but not everyone can learn, take in, and absorb from just words.
The language in this coarse was easy to understand. All of the information in this course relates to what I need to know.

This course is terrible and extremely boring. There can definitely be a more interactive version made. Learning by reading pages of random information / hearing a beat down version of Microsoft voice to text is terrible.
That was a long course for only 2 CE credits

Wrong location of words, should be: What factor did Everett fail to consider that might have caused this problem?
the exam showed the questions missed but not the correct answers - should show them in the red & green like the quizzes after each segment so the correct answers are seen & learned
Finding course was very difficult. Material is presented in a dry fashion and hard to pay attention. however i appreciated the read aloud since I have a vision impairment. need that option for test taking.

did not enjoy this Flood class. Very hard to absorb and understand.
The questions in the test was almost an insult to my intelligence. I 1st took the practice questions for each section to get an idea of what I needed to study. I then read the material and took the final test. The questions in the final test were significantly easier than the practice questions and I don't feel the practice questions were a fair example of the final test itself.
A lot of information wasn't on the exam. Too much information at times that wasn't relevant, it seemed.

The A/I used to teach the material needs work. It is so monotone that it is a constant struggle to stay focused, even while reading along. I have never struggles so much to 'stay tuned' in a class.

I didn't see the correct answer to my incorrect answer on the exam. I just saw the answer I chose.
We need to be more communicative on proctors that are required for these exams when they are needed. Learning the day of that i need to find someone to proctor my exam was very stressful.
In section 1.3 on the interactive quiz, the quiz technically isn't 100% correct. The options for the insured had the husband, who was a named insured, his spouse, his 23 year old daughter and then 2 more options. The quiz said only the husband and wife were insured, not the 23 year old full time student that lived elsewhere for school. According to the book she should be. Also in the same chapter, the Insured section has a poorly worded sentence about how persons under 24 that are full time students and persons under 21 in the care of the insured is written as persons under 24 and under 21 that are in the care of the insured.

I am a repeat customer for the audio reading, hopefully an app will be available for us to use on or phone.
On the review questions in addition to explaining the wrong answer would like to see which was the right answer.
Some of the information was vague and it would also help to have the final exam provide the correct responses for questions the student got wrong.

ours reads like it was written by two or more authors . the first sections were confusing, dis-organized, and contradictory. Poor examples which in many cases didn't fit the content. Example; re-using the retaining wall damaged by wind in the contents section of the course. How would a retaining wall be damaged by fire and subsequently by wind. nonsensical.
Very difficult subject for a even a seasoned sales agent. Guess that's why we have a good relationship with a flood expert and write all such coverages through the same insurer.
This course was too many hours for this material 12 hours is too long
Overall the allotted time for the course was not enough to complete the material and the course required extra time
Loved the sense of humor on the final exam (Moon River and the Bathtub overflowing!)

The limits of time to take the test are way TOO LONG.. please lower these to a more reasonable time ie 20-30 minutes as 2 hrs and 30 minutes is WAYYY TOO LONG.
I would have liked to speed up the audio reading a little. I feel I understand it better reading and listening at the same time, but I can read faster than he was reading which is a common issue with audio. An option to speed it up would be nice.
Question 3 is confusing and should be rewritten even though the CAPS
Dark mode would be really helpful. So would spoken word not a computer reading to you
I also prefer combination of day to day actual questions than complicated. Most of the question where some of them has more than one answer or worded in a language difficult to understand.
Great course very informative
I'd suggest making it more interactive instead of pages and pages and pages of reading that all tends to blend together. Videos and other visuals will help students remain engaged and interested in the content being taught.
The course was very dry and was reading or listening to the manual.
Read it to me audio is great, to keep focused.
Chapters were a bit long relative to content but otherwise enjoyed.
I wish the reader of the class had a more excited voice and that there were videos.

I think the questions shouldn't be tricky, it should be straight forward. And a lot of the questions were very confusing.

the audio could be less robotic sounding so its easier to undertand. Visual slide shows would help as well.
Some terminologies like "preclude" can be very confusing. Legal terms should be defined.
In the above question it doesn’t outline what the date of loss is so there is no way to know if it was within the first days wherein there is no limit OR if loss was after the limits where in place so depending on the date of loss they could have 125K OR 12,500 in coverage. The answer for the above is not specifically answered in this chapter. It says typically 50-70 % but doesn’t say exactly Poor choice of answers…… it may be “increasingly difficult to answer” BUT the answer should actually be reworded to say A- Can help be determined in part by using a valuation software program

The course material language at times ambiguous in the context it was presented. Using more simple terms would be sufficient in grasping the concept. Some of the material seemed contradictory or generated more unanswered questions.

This is a good course but I did get a little thrown wondering if the policy was endorsed or not.
Homeowners Course is very Hard. If we fail the course a 2nd time We should be able to see what answers in the sections of the we got wrong. Or at least be able to see how many answers were wrong in each section of the course. More time is needed in order to read the course material and not feel rushed by the time u take the exam to realize uve failed it and now have no time to take the test again.
Way too much information/information overload.
We can see the questions we got wrong, but we need to know the correct answer in order to learn from our mistakes.

The "Read to Me" narrator is monotonous. I prefer to listen to the material being read to me as needed. I would not chose this option again.
All courses take too Much Time to complete Per the course hour/s credited. Please shorten time to complete.
When reviewing the questions that were wrong, it would be helpful to provide the right answers.

Two and a half hours I had to spend reading something that took me an hour to get through. It is a ridiculous waste of my time. I had to waste an hour and a half because I know the information that we are being tested on. Garbage

By no means am I saying I am perfect. However, I did miss two of the 25 questions and I feel both of my answers are correct. one open for interpretation the other my answer was absolutely correct.
Provide answer's to the incorrect questions once the exam has been passed so that even with a 93% I know what knowledge I have that is incorrect so I can take steps to correct it.

in the sample questions after each chapter- on at least 2 occasions I marked the correct answer, but it was graded wrong (saying I chose another answer)

I like the course
some ares were confusing especially I was sure there was conflicting information about the the subsidies not being eligible when an owner sells his house. Did not see anything mentioned about transferring the policy, yet was in the test.. There were several items on the test that I could not seem to locate ( or easily locate ) in the material .. Otherwise great course
Section 1.2 was confusing and needed some elaboration to clear up what was being said.. specifically the section discussing... For example, assume that only John Smith is listed as a named insured in the declarations of a homeowners policy. He moves out of the house due to a separation, and his wife Mary remains in the house. Mary is no longer a "you" since she no longer resides with her spouse John. In addition, the definition of "residence premises" means "the one family dwelling where 'you' reside." In this situation, coverage could be threatened. .... Also on the Test regarding Other Structures it was a bit confusing as Other Structures coverage is included by default on Homeowners policies, at least the ones that I service.. so the only options that would apply would be making sure there was enough coverage on the included covg. B ( which I chose by selecting raising the coverage ( total coverage to 435,000 which would include covg. B at 35,000 ) .. other option that could apply was to make sure the Garage was listed on the policy DEC.. .. Otherwise nothing else needed clarification, everything was great

The Examples given were excellent. In so many courses taken over the years the information provided has gaps that need to be further clarified with examples are they are usually not provided. Further clarification with an example / scenario is often needed to fully understand the subject matter. The examples and explanations given were perfect and helped so much.
Same problem as the flood... not as engaging as the ethics
The Ethics Class in which you see the persons giving he lecture was much better than the computer voice reading the content to me.

Reading of materials should be live reading instead of AI to allow inflection and emphasis and appropriate application of concepts.

My company provided ExamFx and I tool the test probably 50 times and couldn't pass so, per the recommendation of my boss we decided to switch to webCE and I passed the first time. The study material didn't match the test on Exam FX, this was much easier
