Commercial insurance protects businesses, including business owners and their employees. Every business is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all insurance policy for small and large business owners. As an insurance professional you can help your business clients find the right coverages by having an extensive understanding of the primary types of commercial coverages such as property, liability, crime, and commercial auto insurance.
Courses included will meet all your CE requirements for your license renewal in FL including your law and ethics requirement.
only thing I would change is add where the text is highlighted to go along with the audio.
Content was very matter of fact and boring, but it gets the job done
I would have liked to see a lot more anecdotal stories and examples to help me understand things. They also touched on AI, but really did nothing to mention how AI is currently affecting the insurance industry, which was really disappointing.
The instructions on how to locate information within the text was not clear or helpful.
The content was great and useful in real scenarios at work.
This was very easy to use and I enjoy being able to take my time to absorb the material
More time is needed, when looking for a specific topic, doesn't go directly to the target, a little vague and lengthy.
I would like more control of the audio speed. I could not get it to the speed best suited for me. It was either too slow or too fast.
Thank you easy to read and take exam
I did not do well on the step 5 practice questions, so that section was not as clear as I would like. There were also a few grammatical errors, which is confusing when listening.
Great course!
Course took more hours to complete than projected due to they amount of material covered.
the course was easy to follow and return to. the opportunity to save the answer on exam and return on different time been very convenient with my available time
I would like to have the material read aloud while I read it. However, the AI voice is unnatural and difficult to listen to. It would be nice to upgrade the quality of the AI voice and/or have a dropdown menu to allow for users' choice of voice.
Time requirements if you finish early should be eliminated
The search feature is not user friendly.
I found this course very informative and interesting. Would be a good training course for anyone selling insurance.
It was a great review of commercial lines insurance vocabulary and requirements
Simple and easy to use. Bery effective.
Very good course - clear and effective presentation. The only drawback is that it takes almost twice as long to complete as the designated 4 hrs.
Only suggestion is on the longer sessions, like the GL have a short practice test in the middle.
I really liked the read-to-me-audio feature (helps to prevent eyestrain for me) and chapter references in the quizzes and exam.
this chapter provides information many people may miss when completing applications and what underwriters require to provide quotes
It would be helpful if there was a cursor following the reading of the audio portions.
Required time in course 50 mins but all courses read aloud takes way more 2 and a half hours plus
Not a fan of the time limit. If you know the course material and can complete it quicker than the time allotted, then you should be able to do so.
There were issues w/the read to me function. I would try to mute it or pause it, so I could just read the material and it would start to read twice - overlapping.
I like the straightforward presentation without excessive unnecessary examples or explanations.
I liked the new audio.
course was very easy to understand if you have had years of experience in the industry
Great format and ease of use
Great course content and easy to use.
easy to use
Instead of read to me, video of a course instructor would be very helpful and less monotonous.
I really like the reader-friendly navigation of the site.
Thank you! Clear expectations and relevant content. Good formatting.
I thought the exam was much harder than the chapter ending questions.
The course was user friendly and informative. However, unless I overlooked it, I did not see any prior mention of required time spent in each section to take the final tests per section. I feel this restriction defeats the purpose of a self-guided course and subsequently was more time consuming than anticipated and in my opinion, necessary.
Great course content and very easy to use.
This course included way too much obscure content. I have been an adjuster for 35+ years. 99.99999999 % of claims adjusters WILL NOT EVER handle a claim under most of the coverages and claims exposures covered in this course.
very informative and educational.
Would like to have had examples instead of just having it read to me the whole time.
this course was taught in a way that was easier for me to understand
Audio is a little fast for me on the mode 1 but too slow on the mode .75. Maybe some calibration of audio speed. Thank you
AI reading could be improved.
Add videos and more interactive content
great content
This was a very long in depth process for the CEU's. I believe in Chapter 4 quiz question 5 the answer is incorrectly marked. Please take a look at the wording of the question.
AI voice was really annoying with its frequently inaccurate pronuciations. Also very monotone and not engaging.
TOOK A LOT OF TIME, BUT I THINK I LEARNED/RETAINED MORE CONTENT.
Thank you, very informative course.
I continue to use WebCE every 2 years because of the ease of use.
Excellent course and website very user-friendly!
Make more videos make things easier to understand.
This course was all very well put togther. IN the 8 hr course on worker's comp one of the pie charts did not match the description and, if it did match, I could not understand it.
excellent content
I do not like the timed portion that will not let you through if ahead of schedule slightly.
put the course number so we dont duplicate
If the study part could have more videos, and more summarized, is too long for reading, and to listen to the recording reading, it was a lot of info. The exam set up, was excellent though!
The estimated time of completion (not enough) seems a bit unrealistic as it is a lot of information
This was great I like the read it to me option. Thank you for the ease of this.
I like that the Read-it-to-me audio was available.
Please add some more real life examples to make more interesting and informative.
thank you. it was a very good course.
Good material
did not like the timer requiring me to spend more time than i needed on the course
I liked that one could go back to a chapter, if need be, to confirm a question asked by the test. I was looking to be able to print the completion of the test. I could not find the affidavit to sign.
It was extremely helpful to be able to review the topic during the exam.
I love the new training format
I love the ease of use of the website.
Great course.
This was the best course I have taken so far!
The time provided is insufficient, especially if using the read to me feature.
I love the audio read out loud feature as it made me able to undeerstand and remember more information. Very user friendly and can take the course on my own time.
I did find it challenging to confirm this course met my license renewal requirements so had to call the company to confirm.
The auto play very monotone and was more difficult to follow along.
I really enjoyed this course.
Could make better exam questions.
Found a Potential error- 9.4 section- answer should be $7 million not $17 million losses sustained in payment amount. Typo. Thank you.
I appreciate the 'read to me' audio allows for increased speed, as I personally have a much higher comprehension and attention rate when voice speed is slightly increased. Thank you for all you do for us!
The audio could be a bit more fluid in separation between material and allowing for a quick playback button that rewinds 15-30 seconds versus having to play with the bar. Difficult to do on a mobile device.
Great Coursework!
Too much time to have to complete sections and wait to take exam
AI audio has such bad pronunciation at times. "Side A" coverage and "address" were two of the examples that were jarring on repeated occasions.
This was the most confusing course I have taken yet. There is no need to be so tricky with the questions and answers. It makes it very frustrating to learn anything when you are reading everything multiple times and still cannot find the answers. Some questions didn't even make any sense. I almost gave up on my license because of it. Not good.
Sorry.. some of the answers are way beneath the Profession. Not sure if you were trying to be funny, make the course easier or you just ran out of ideas for wrong answers. Try harder. I expect more from WEB CE
I do feel that some of the answers i got "wrong" may not actually be wrong.
Very challenging but I enjoyed the course, and the information was current and relevant
The person reading the text mispronounced many words! It made me laugh!
Some course examples and exam questions are hard to follow with flowery names, company names, etc. It is a learning distraction.
Thanks... wish the glossary would be at the front to act as an introduction.
Well written with examples that clarified the material to be learned
The information was very basic and superficial. This deficiency created a BIG problem with the exam because most of the questions were very in-depth and required a lot of knowledge that did NOT come from this course information!
Test questions were clear and easy to understand
There were a few times when I got timed out and when I went back in I got duplicate audio. I just closed out the site and logged back in. May have been me but thought I should share that with you. Thank you!
I liked seeing the questions I got wrong but was very disappointed the correct answers were not shown.
I really appreciate the availability of WEBCE for me to renew my Certificates and Licenses! The only thing I would try to improve is the speed and emphasis of the voice in the read-a-long audio. I like that attribute very much but sometimes the voice "puts the accent on the wrong syllable."
Some of the content was written in a way that was confusing and difficult to interpret.
Excellent content!
This course's numbering sections seem to be mis labelled for #5 and 6. They appear as 4 & 5
One of the questions seemed to be worded incorrectly. Awarding punitive damages but then the question asks why punitive damages weren't awarded.
Very informative
Narrator was monotone and much of information was outdated. The world of insurance moves much faster than this now. This course information was relevant 10 years ago. It really needs updated to today's process of online entry of submissions.
I would like to see more variable course offerings
Good refresher course
Awesome course
Some sections were confusing. Maybe include diagrams or charts in addition to the text descriptions of situations.
I always appreciate Web CE for it's complete and accurate coverage of the intended topic, the practice questions, and ease of use. Thanks!
Excellent course with helpful content!
Some of the questions were worded a bit weird. I also wish I could go back to 2 practice test questions and show them to you as I know that my answers were absolutely correct - the answers provided as options had to incorrect terms in them - they were transposed.
I feel that even when you pass or fail you should be able to seed the correct answer's. Mario
please check typos which made the questions unsure
Audio is very sleep inducing
This course was very challenging to get through. I wish the examples where easier to understand and actual videos included showing examples.
The audio was too "droning." I would have used it more if it were more "conversational."
I use all of my personal CE pursuit through WebCE because it has quality material that is easy to use. I feel like I actually learn with this system as well.
This is a great general course. It would be great to be updated to today's climate of automatic underwriting and underwriter pools where UW is so generic.
1>I found spelling errors. 2. Make up your minds...is it 3000 of Business Personal Property or 2500 of Business Personal Property. Check the chapter test. 3 Too much useless info in this course. Like you are trying to get the time in to get it to be a qualified course. I am usually happy with WebCE, but not with this course. Sorry.
too much in one course... I don't see how someone one does this in one sitting and then retain it.
This was a very, very long test and questions were extremely difficult in locating correct answers in the material.
A lot of questions were 'wordy' - a little hard to figure out what you were looking for in the answers
use human grammar/spell checking on exam questions. AI doesn't catch everything. For example this was a question on the exam: Why might this simple mistake can create a coverage gap in the event of a loss?
Some of the questions were unclear. McDonald's backhoe - could have been business auto or personal auto - didn't mention if McDonald was a business or an individual. Assumptions were made. I got stuck on a couple like that. Otherwise, I'm just glad it's over. Thank you!
The examples given are helpful.
The exam had several questions that had multiple correct answers or questions that had all wrong answers. It in turn had me fail the exam 6 times. The wording on the questions and answers needs to be fixed.
I found this course to be very nupadted and informational
Learned more about Commercial Insurance
makes a difficult and confusing subject easier to understand
I reviewed the questions missed and confused as I had gotten those correct.
There appeared to be a few typos / editorial errors within the documents that could be misleading/confusing. Additionally, some of the wording and paragraphs were almost complete copy/pasted from earlier in the course which I found jarring.
This course was the most challenging course I have taken. The play on words was made it difficult to understand. The examples were somewhat helpful, but the information was not as clear as I would have liked. This course sections 3 to 5 were a beast and need better clarification with more straight-forward examples and answers.
A great Course! Pointed out many gaps that all Professionals should be aware of.
It's like these course get lower in quality as i progress.
The "charts" needed to be updated in spots.
There were several grammatical errors
I love the self paced aspect of the lessons specifically
I would like to see more videos like the ethics webinar that are interactive and you do not have to take a test at the end.
Too much granular information for one course, needs broken up.
Very informative course.
I do not see that the New Jersey DOBI requires a proctor for exams. Also, in this day of remote work, it's hard to find someone to proctor an exam, let alone someone whos in not related. Other than the exam requirements, I thought the course was very good. The quizzes were actually harder than the final exam.
My only criticisms are that many questions were worded in a convoluted manner, and some had multiple answers that could be correct depending on the situation.
The course was very informative, the scenarios were constructive, the test questions helped to confirm learning. I gained additional knowledge and also some freshers. The ease to work on the course over time was the best thing ever!
The percentage completed seemed to be a bit off but I liked the feature. At one point it said 75% done then the percentage seemed to decrease. I also had a time during this test when it seemed like someone else was moving the screen. I'm assuming it wasn't anyone at WebCE and was probably a fluke. It always takes me extra time on these classes but I really try to learn the info not just pass the test. .
This course was far too long, and the topics should have been broken down into 3 or 4 smaller themed segments. That would have allowed the final exams to dive deeper and be more representative of the actual information being taught.
The voice was very monotone
Site needs to recognize duplicate test prior to ordering! I had to take a 10-hour course and a 4-hour course twice due to this!
Some of the answers to the questions were almost identical and were not clearly defined.
It was too long and very difficult to remember information from all 11 chapters. Not good.
This is one of the best courses i have studied.
GLAD I PASSED ON THE 1ST ATTEMPT DUE TO CLEAR/EASY TO READ AND LISTEN TO LESSONS....THANK YOU DARLENE BEESON
too granular, for a CE course... felt like I was studying the phone book.. In practice, those sorts of specifics would be confirmed via reference - not memory
Scenarios were too long and confusing.
This 12 c.e. course was tough for me. It's too much information. I am better off taking 3 c.e. courses at a time. I was overwhelmed with too much information during this course. It was very difficult.
The test included questions where items were mislabeled. One question around the Diehard Mortuary referred to the operation as both a funeral home and a hospital. This seems like a sloppy rewrite of a prior question. This happened in multiple questions that were confusing to the end user.
It took me a long time to go through the entire course. I think I spent at least 10 hours on it and only received 7 credit hours.
Good course, don't like the Louisiana thing but not your rules
Thank you for allowing open book and flexibility in retaking exams.
This course was better than the last one I took. The subject matter wasn't as dull.
the auto read function is annoying
the auto read feature is annoying
This course was made even more difficult because the same names were used in consecutive questions with different scenarios or the same names were used in the same scenarios with different outcomes. I found this course to be extremely hard even being able to go back and research the questions in the course text. I would not recommend this course and am very disappointed.
I did not use the audio and video features. Thank you.
The questions that are asked are sometimes unclear. The questions should ask things that can be clear that they are referring to property coverage, or liability coverage, etc...
Questions on practice and final exams are to long. Each question was a paragraph long
There were a handful of typos (extra words), and some practice questions were almost too convoluted.
