What I liked most was the tracking of my responses were recorded, and helped me to continue where I left off. This helped me to move forward. Overall content was relevant and informative. However, content too comprehensive. What I liked least, number of exam questions should be more aligned with number of quiz questions. We're just trying to obtain continuing education credits, not obtain an insurance license, we already have one.

at the end of some of the chapters before the practice exam there were short video clips with questions. I thought it was great tool for me to learn the material.
It would be nice if the volume could be set once and not have to reset it every time a new chapter is selected.

I thought the content in the pdf was well thought out an easy to understand--I also really enjoyed the example on page 5 that reference the movie "50 First Dates" because I've seen in so many times, and I understood what was meant by it! Great analogy or metaphor--I was never good with those in high school!
Having the volume setting for read-it-to-me audio save from one page to the next would be helpful.
Sometimes the automated voice does not differentiate between acronyms and words i.e. the word "who" instead was "W-H-O".

I would add the option to highlight the text as it is being read. I find it very effective to have it read to me while reading along, but once in a while I would lose my spot. Highlighting/marking the spot as it is being read would be the icing on the cake!

I have used webCE for years to recertify my adjuster's license every two years (though under a previous account). Imagine my surprise this time to find that DEI has infected even this material. References to equity and diversity should not apply to adjuster decision-making. The policy is a contract between company and policyholder, and coverage/denial decisions are based on policy language and applied consistently to ALL policyholders regardless of their "culture." Additionally, wikipedia is quoted as source material in one of the slides. That alone invalidates the respectability of the entire presentation, since widipedia is a constantly-revised, user-defined platform. I will not be using webCE for my next renewal if this same Ethics model is present in two years.

I haven't taken this course in 3 years. I like that there weren't as many practice questions this time, which reduced the total time required to complete the course to about 2-3 hours. Much appreciated!

This course was relevant,. It tested for general, useful, important insurance knowledge - instead of obscure "facts". Way to go!!
I thought the course met the stated objectives without being to long or complicated.
Questions were written poorly and allowed room for subjective answers. If testing, needs to be more black and white. Many answers were written in the book upon review so that is how I knew it wasn't correct on the test but, the answer could be technically correct in certain circumstances. I do not believe those are fair questions and answers to present.

some of the questions e.g. Direct vs Agents/Brokers is not addressed in the text although a question is asked. Also Q14 in the final exam two of the questions are identical this needs to remedied

The study material was much better than the Ethics course material but could still be better.
I don't think the last section with the SITE, IIABA or SRMC is needed as there were no test questions regarding them. I guess they were just for illustrations purposes.

The only "Negative" I can mention relating to this particular course is that there was an excessive amount of unnecessary verbiage in the majority of the course content which resulted in it taking MUCH longer to read all of the provided materials than is needed for the relatively "simple" topics covered ! A significant portion of the provided wording could easily be omitted from the course with no adverse affects on the comprehension of the course material or the Final Exam proficiency, in my opinion.
The content covered in this course was too vast. Some of the test questions were confusing or vague and even with the Search option it was difficult to determine the correct answer.
Videos or interactive activities would have made this more engaging, as well as the ability to highlight or have the read-it-to-me audio highlight as you go along.

I did not care for the automated reading voice, it was very flat and monotone making difficult to comprehend without expression in the inflection, tone of voice, etc.
The read-to-me feature was very distracting as it often mispronounced words.

I liked the ease of the whole program.
The one thing I really dislike was using Wikipedia as a reference: "As stated in Wikipedia, in psychology, self-esteem reflects a person’s overall self-appraisal of his or her own worth.". This is a cardinal sin in sourcing reference material, especially when referring to a science such as Psychology where there are millions upon millions of credible, and scientific source material. The word 'Pyschology' was also misspelled as it wasn't capitalized.
I like that you can take your time to take the course and you are not rushed or pressured in anyway. Iam a Commercial Agent and find the information provided is very helpful.
The only problems I had were that for some reason I had two accounts. But I called the number listed and a very nice young woman got it right for me.

the discussion of how to show respect fails to take into account neurodiversity. It mentions that the easiest way to show respect is to maintain eye contact. This can be difficult to someone who is neuro-atypical. Statements like these generalities should be more inclusive.
I liked the course, though I would advise having a Continuing Education course reference Wikipedia in the lessons. Since Wikipedia is known to not be a primary source and full in incorrect info as anyone online can update it.

The AI generated (or whatever method used) voice was extremely boring to listen to & not at al realistic sounding. The monotone and numerous mispronunciations make me unlikely to use your site in the future.

the auto generated course study is awful. A live narrator would be much better and the study would flow. It's difficult to listen to the auto gen voice especially when prompts like III are referred to as "eye eye eye" instead of "section 3" or the like
I'm guessing that Chapter 6 quiz - question 2 was a "trick" question because Values Descriptor: Open minded = Quality Descriptor: Friendly. All other choices were Values Descriptors which made: Respect for others the only option. This hung me up on the question for way longer than it should have. I didn't like the trickery.

As someone with dyslexia i really appreciated that i could have the concepts read out loud and that there were videos included. Might be better if it was not a computer voice and was an actual person speaking to me. It just would have made it that much better.

Had to call to get my account re-set up. Went smoothly, signed in and took the online course.
I took the course in about 2 hours and then had to wait an hour to take the test. Maybe slow the course timing down or make it last longer with more content. We all get it that the course never matches the state timed requirement, so maybe there is a work around or addition needed.
I like using WebCE for my continuing education needs. It is thorough and easy to use.

auto-play would be nice. at least in between each section or quiz. I understand having to be actively involved, but there were so many short audio files it got annoying to have to hit play for every single one.
This course was more applicable then I expected, it was better targeted toward my career field then others I have taken. I felt there was relevant information to not only general ethics but information specifically about the ethics of insurance work.
Thank you. The Test was different than the material studied. Although the Test was more relevant to the study of Ethics.

This was a nice course. It was easy to understand and some of the questions can be answered with common sense.
Some of the questions were kind of tricky as compared to the quiz questions

Straight forward information and included multiple perspectives and ideas that were helpful in understanding organizational ethics standards.
The questions were hard to find. You had to put in your own words to find the answers. I had to look up some of the answers to the questions to see if it would be the correct answer. Took me longer to complete because the way the questions were ask.
This was the best ethics course I have ever taken. It was so interesting and really made me think about things such as character. I typically HATE taking online courses but I LOVED this one! Thanks

The information is very repetitive and sometimes unclear. When you search for a key word I wish it would follow it unstead of having to search for them.
I did take time to review the material before taking the final exam. That was helpful in passing with 100%.
Videos would better than reading or listening to someone to read the content. I would have rather printed and studied if interactive videos aren't available.
While the course had many good features. The graphic poor. Hard to follow many of them.

The auto-read would be better if read by a human and not CPU generated. It makes it less engaging. Would also like to see more diagrams or illustrations to break up the walls of text, as it's more difficult for non-traditional learners to consume flat content.
The audio was suspended during certain portions of the course.

Loved that the speed for read to me audio can be increased! Didn’t like that I had to reapply it every new section. I wanted to review the chapter exams to prep for the main test but couldn’t open them again, allowing that would be nice.

I felt that the content could have been broken down into smaller sections and the wording could have for each section could have been more to the point.

I am the first of this team to try this product. So far this seems to be what is needed for our team to stay compliant.
I actually listened to the audio and read the info but I thought the test was a challenge because the test questions and the material did not match up (at least in my mind) even though I got a 96%.

I love WebCE but I have to admit, I did not feel like the course prepared me for the exam. I read and studied prior to the exam and still felt like I had no clue on some of the questions. Fortunately, I studied enough to pass but, comparing this course to others, I felt the exam vs course content were not matched as well.

I did not care for the mention of Donald Trump, but this may not be something everyone has concern for; I just don't find that he acts or speaks in an ethical manner - he says a lot of hurtful things about other people and that's just not nice.
I thought this course was very effective in the message intended.
I did not like the format of this course at all. I think this CE could have been achieved in a much better, more beneficial way. Having this computer deliver this material with no interaction was very ineffective.

After using a computer for the completion of the first couple of chapters. I then Used a mobile device to complete the rest of the course including the final exam. In using my iPhone mobile device, When I logged into Webce.com to continue the course, I found it very difficult to find my course! Frustrating experience to say the least! Consequently, Logging into the course was not an easy experience. Otherwise, I enjoyed the course. Thank you Webce!
In my opinion the course was excellent overall. If I could improve it any more, I would make the read over voice more fluid.

If you are able to competently pass the exam you should not have to be in each course for a set amount of time. you should be able to pass and get the course credits.
I have use Web CE for my continuing education for as long as I have been an insurance professional - great product. However a search function would be great for finding content within chapters.
The question on your exam that was marked incorrect seems to be a mistake. Otherwise the course was great.

LOVE WEB CE FOR MY CONTINUING EDUCATION
I have taken Ethical courses in the past and the ability to re-read through and go back and forth through the teachings. I found myself wanting to read sections even though they were not part of the exam over again. It made me want to build on my personal excellence! I may have arrived a 3 but found self-esteem, knowing now more in detail what I must do in order to project my personal values, of who I am, what my beliefs are grounded on, and how I can demonstrate a higher degree of judgement, and promptness as an insurance professional.

The course relies heavily on Liability, Auto & Workers Compensation. As Commercial Claims Adjuster, I do not handle these types of claims
The read it to me audio was extremely helpful.
The content was easy to read and lasted near the 2 hours or so before taking the test
Narrator mispronounced a few words. No big deal.
Over all this was a good source of educational information.

The course was relevant to the topics. However, all the other references were appreciated, but not explored due to time constraints. I see it as additional information. Most people are just trying to do what is necessary to complete hours to be in compliance with state regulators.
Much more "organized" in how the modules were set up. BIg picture was provided initially, then supporting detail. Other providers courses have had waaaaaay too much detail and not enough conceptual info about the coverages.
Quoting from Wikipedia doesn't seem to be the most reliable source of information, considering that Wikipedia articles are open source and easily edited.

The AI reading the roman numerals was funny hearing i i i instead of 3. Great study included by Robert Kegan of Harvard University helped me see things differently, as the lesson later explained. Good CE class.

Overall, this was good, however I found the "Wikipedia" reference to be in poor taste. That is not a credible source and not something that should be cited in an insurance CE class, or any CE class for that matter. Given that literally anyone can go on this website and edit its content, you simply cannot use this as valid source for much of anything. I highly encourage the author of the course to replace that reference with something more educationally sound.

everything was okay a little long
For a renewal the materials were presented as a first examining candidate instead of a review. The presentation was extremely lengthy. The degree of difficulty and the time to consume the material was not described prior to purchasing the courses. The site is also not suited for persons with eyesight and or hearing impaired. The rate of speech for the audio is far too fast to absorb the material and there is not adjustment for the audio speech which does not assist sight and and hearing-impaired persons. The lengthy reading created more sight difficulties and increased my inability to finish the course without strain and average completion time for a renewal candidate; however, the course served the purpose to renew. Thank you.
I've been taking CE courses and exams for over 30 years. This is one of the best experiences I have had so far. I appreciated the layout, ease of use, clarity and organization of the material and feedback on the quizzes, the ability to go back and check content during the quizzes and the ability to skim or skip over some of the material and go right to the next section if I'm confident in my ability to answer correctly - it allowed me to rely on my experience and save a lot of time. Nice job!

I really like to be able to read along with the audio. I also like that I can speed up or slow down the audio. I did not follow the video ethics course as well.

Perhaps make the slides more animated so when they are being read it will advance for the student.
I know we all have different learning styles and I opted out of the video - I prefer to read the content versus watching a video. I intentionally did not select the Ethic courses that I saw were "video" content only.

On the intro to commercial lines course the pdf refers to content available on the web course. I did not find said content. So either update the pdf or make live links.

I became a licensed Insurance Agent in 1990 and have worked for the last 20+ years in Personal Lines. This past January I transitioned into Commercial Lines (even though I did years and years ago work as a CL CSR) but as you can see that was many, many years ago. This was a GREAT refresher course of CL and it was informative and the material was so great to "understand". I LOVED IT!!!
I have never taken an exam like this one and I LOVED IT. I love how each question gave you a blue link in the presentation on where to find the answer but you had to look through the information to obtain it. I ended up reading this presentation twice in a lot of areas which is really good.
I feel confident reading and taking these tests.
Access to the table of contents would be very useful in going back and looking at prior pages you wish to reread. This is a lot in one course. Should be broken into smaller courses.

IT TOOK ME LONGER TO COMPLETE THAN THE CE HOURS, AND COMPARED TO PAST YEARS, THE ETHIC CONTENT WAS VERY DIFFERENT - IT FOCUSED MORE ON BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT RATHER THAN ETHICS.
This is the course my agency recommends and has bookmarked on the computers. Fast. Efficient. And the rates are reasonable. 10/10

Great way to get the CE's Done
I enjoyed reading the Ethics course because it was not just focused on what is ethical and what is not. The material broke "ethics" down in to multiple categories providing information about how and why ethic codes are created, what it takes to be an ethical person, working with ethical businesses and organizations.
I thought the content was engaging and on point. I also though it was quite thoughtful.
More interactive content including videos would create a better learning experience.

The guy who di the audio for this course was NOT good - very monotone voice - not much in the way of expressiveness. Put me to sleep. Ended up not using the audio - the audio for the Ethics portion with the lady speaker was great - was hoping she was doing this one as well, but she wasn't!

The test is a bit unfair as some of the questions are reworded from the content making it hard to correctly answer some of the questions.

The course had too much information for a 3 credit course. Although the course was well done it took way too much time. Also, the difficulty level was significantly harder than the other courses I have completed.
there was one diagram in this learning session that tied the words on the left to the words on the right by connecting them with lines. it was very difficult to follow the lines to which one it matched up with.

I did not think there could be that much to understand about "ethics", but found the test reinforced what I thought I already understood it to concern after all.

This was a great course to learn the basics of Insurance. I had to re-read some things over again just to clarify but I know I came out learning a lot more about insurance. I feel more confident than what I came in knowing :)

I liked the ease of the classes and the chapter tests.
I would prefer this to be more interactive instead of just reading/audio.
I love that the course is easy to access and easy to understand. The promptness of WEBCE turning in the credentials is a plus as well, because we can get our license renewed quickly.

I would like just one answer that one would need to be picked to get the question correct; it seems that there is always 2 answer's that are so close to being correct, and it takes longer to complete the course, thank you, Mark Rust.

Ethics hmmm! the products are written in a way that can be construed as protecting the owner/shareholder. The rules are sent down by governmental agencies which are suspect in their ethical behaviors. Insurance is nothing more than a gamble and those machines are rigged.

The only negative was the read-it-to-me audio. It was pretty dry and robotic. Making that more human would make these courses 100% for me.
Only complaint is that the text was a bit "wordy". Other than that, very good course.
Great course, learned a lot and would recommend, however, think its' content is more than just beginner's level.

This was a nice alternative way for me to receive my ethics hours when I was unable to attend an in person class with the insurance companies I write for. I also appreciated that the course did refer to insurance throughout instead of a generic ethics class.
It's a good thing it is open book. Questions are tough!!!
I did not like the reading option. Many pronunciation mistakes and the lack of intonation made it difficult to listen to. Much better, and faster, when I read the text myself. Self-reading also improved comprehension, as I could go faster or slower on my own pace.
Seemed somewhat politically slanted
The only negative comment I have is that the course audio does not pause, or point out bullets within a chapter. It sounds like its just rambling on at times.
In the 4. 3 - Policy Format Part, Eliminating or Reducing Overlapping Coverage Section there is a typo: Similar approaches are taken to coordinate the CGL policy with specific auto, aircraft, and watercraft polices.
This course is easy to use and is very planned out.
Its pretty standard content, I liked the idea of the read aloud audio, but it read much to slowly for me, I ended up using my mac capabilities to read the text at a speed that matched my reading speed. It also would have been nice to be able to access the course outline without having to close out the course.
"III" should be read as "Three" not "eye" "eye" "eye" and "IV" is "Four" not "Eye" "V" are some examples. There were some other words miss-pronounced.
I liked the at your own pace, because when I lost attention I could pause and wait until I was ready to digest the information. I think more interactive learning sections would help with that as well.

If there is a direction in the middle of the page and it says pause the graphic, the program does not give you enough time to get to the top of the page to pause it and when you have to resume play it returns the audio to the top of the page. Otherwise everything else was good
On some of the longer sections, it would be nice to have some bullet points or paragraph breaks to separate the information. It can feel a bit overwhelming viewing a large chunk of text on the computer. But that's such a minor suggestion. Overall it was great.

So far I have only take one course but the ease of use and variety of options to study the coursework are very insightful and exemplary.
I was not able to access the videos on the PDF supplement. I needed to revert to the online version of the course. you should create a link that we can select in order to find each video.
During the portion about respect, it was said that eye contact was a sign of respect. I am autistic, and I wanted to point out that it is a very neurotypical workdview to say that and it does exclude neurodivergent people who have a hard time with eye contact. It has nothing to do with respect.
The read-it-to-me text to audio technology is poor.

I liked having the audio as I learn both reading and listening. The mispronounciations are a little irritating. LOL
The robot reading the slides was extremely hard to listen to and learn from.
I'm a screenreader user and LOVE how accessible your courses are for the most part! I would only ask that any graphics/charts be described. If they weren't in this course, I didn't lose any meaning in the translation, but that could happen in another course. Overall very pleased with my experience!
Course materials were excellent, and I wish I could share them with colleagues. This course did an effective job of connecting ethics to values to behavior in a way I haven't seen in other ethics courses.
The testing, the practice quizzes, were very preparatory for the final exam… I felt very prepared before taking the exam and confident I would do well because of this… Thank you

This was one of the best courses I have taken.
Since this is the CE product supported by my employer, I will continue to use this platform. I would appreciate more interactive modules to build memory while reviewing the educational material.
Could use a thorough edit. Portions like "Polarity" and "Character Development" seemed very tenuously related to ethics in insurance, while other parts like the "difference" between trust and trustworthiness seemed a bit silly and incorrectly framed.

When searching for phrases for the test I got a lot of no results. Trying to figure out the right key words to put in the search was frustrating.
I wasn't aware of the drop down to select only insurance adjuster courses and had to consult with a representative. Lat time I ended up with agent/broker courses that were not my field.

I feel like I would have a better understanding and scored higher if there were videos explaining scenarios of what we are learning. So having short clips with characters for each chapter and topic would have been more entertaining than reading through the chapter.

Offer example from various insurance functions beyond claims and sales.
When the written course material said to go to the website for video content, there was no video content.
I like the auto play audio feature and the ability to review what answers were correct/incorrect. I do not like the computer voice/audio reading the text. It is difficult to follow and understand at times. I would prefer video with the ability to auto play the next slide/chapter without having to click next.

I have another issue with an exam question in Minding the Gaps in Commercial Lines Insurance. Question 34 concerned Boyer Company whose administrative assistant failed to add Jaime as an additional insured on a CGL policy. The question concerned what action is available for Jaime against Boyer. All of the choices are wrong. Although I selected “breach of contract” as the best possible answer, the other answers were patently wrong as is breach of contract. Jaime is not a party to any contract between Boyer and its insurer. She is not a third-party beneficiary either. Jaime can sue Boyer for equitable indemnity and possibly negligence. Those choices were not available as possible answers.

I'm very glad this was a PDF document sit-down-and-read style course, I much prefer this style.
The read along is too slow and I would like to be able to download the content as I am a better reader from paper then the screen and I like to take notes
A great option for CE credits. Especially during COVID.
It flowed well and the questions were related to the material. Way better than an experience I recently had with another provider.
Question 9 had identical answers on B & D and my audio had two voices about 8 seconds apart which made it unusable, so I had to end up reading everything.

I think you should make a course like this for all of our public officials. They should be required to take it annually.
What i liked most about this course was its relevance to my personal development as an individual. It was interesting to review the qualities that reflect character and integrity in the context of our current political climate and what constitutes groupthink vs individual responsibility. “The happiness of every country depends upon the character of its people, rather than the form of its government.”
