As an insurance professional, it is important to know and be able to explain what is included in homeowners insurance and what coverages may be available to avoid any gaps in coverage.

The Ethics seminars were a mixture of opinion, trivia, and sales training, and were very unfocused. They took up around 2.5 hours of unskippable watch time, plus another hour after that. There were all kinds of digressions and at least 70% of it was not focused on ehtics but rambling examples, and awkward tangents.
I am a note taker, so it took me a considerable amount of additional time, but I did get 100% !

This course is garbage. I don't have time for this type of crap. Having to do CE is an absolute waste of time to start with, but this setup is infuriating.
My biggest issue is figuring out if the specific courses will suffice for the CE needed for my license. Here's hoping it does lol

a few questions weren't very clear, i had to really think outside the box and eliminate my options
some of the diagrams were too small, I had to increase the size on my pc. I have a large screen, and yes I was wearing my glasses.

This was an informative course. If an agent would be writing Flood insurance for someone, they would have to review this information more than once before being qualified to write the insurance. There is a lot of information to know.

This course was very well written and did not take excessive time to read through the material.
Using effective words, examples, patiently and thoroughly explaining the idea/concept. I especially loved the idea of creating a a PEC. In the past I have had excellent response, self esteem and great business when I have had an ethics code that clients were able to understand and sense I am exemplifying that code. It works and having heard you advise creating one is the best advice that you can provide which shows me your commitment to my success. Priceless. Keep coming up with great examples and how to best explain and reach more people with wanting to be only ethical for themselves. I liked the history aspect the most, when it was used to tie in different principles and concepts related to insurance and ethics.
Some real life in history examples and how claims and restoration efforts were handled would be interesting.
While the class contained a lot of information the various topics were grouped together (ie... rating, legislation, etc..) which made the data easier to retain. I learned a few new things that I did not know. THANK YOU! :)

The reading etc. can tend to lull you to sleep and straining on the eyes. More color and some drawings or pictures with color may be helpful.

some of the wording is different for the actual test questions, which can be confusing with all the information that's in the chapters. It would be helpful to keep the same terminology. example: additional living expenses was stated on the test questions as "additional living"

Somehow I missed the fact that this was a video when I bought this course. I thought it was material to read prior to taking a test, not a video.
Course material is very dense. Hard to digest and retain information in this format. Suggest shorter sections with understanding reinforcement exercises.

as an agent for over 40 years i find it very unnecessary to make it mandatory to take CE..especially ETHICS and FLOOD. I should be getting credits for attending any of the companies meeting s i represent to go over the products i sell.. period !!!
This was a good course for someone that already had flood training. Just the right amount of detail and reminders of important items.
Course audio was very dull and actually sounded like a computer voice. Not very personal. Sounded more like AI audio / robotic sounding.

Reading materials vs. Video would be much preferred. I felt the material and questions skewed to the days of old far too much and the material needs updated. It would be much better to reference how we use web conferencing than how somebody schedules too many appointments and is late constantly.

Required course time is silly
The course is good and interesting, especially with all the examples and scenarios that illustrated the points made in each lesson. I would suggest that the presenters make an effort to include females in the examples and scenarios. The only females mentioned in the entire course were the daughters of one of the presenters and a story about a Girl Scout selling cookies outside the entrance to a dispensary. I also wondered why the choice of selling cookies outside a dispensary was considered a good location to maximize business. Is the suggestion that people using cannabis are hungrier for cookies than other potential buyers? Why not a library, hardware store, hair salon, hobby shop, etc?
The instructional portion of the training along with the videos and practice questions make these educational training videos easier to follow and understand.
The only thing that I would adapt to is having the WebCE products easily Identifiable for Adjusters. Took a long time to figure out which one was which.

Sometimes application requires not having enough information. For web site questions you should be able to go back and reread that part of the info. and then go back to quiz.
The course took a while to complete. The modules could have been combined to make it easier and less time to complete the training.
The course was excellent. However, every two or three minutes I had to unlock my phone during the entire course. The requirement of constantly unlocking my phone was very distracting. This Ethics course is too important. Please consider changing this process.
The wording on some of the chapter test questions were confusing because of double negative language.
I didn't think I would like the course being in video but I was pleasantly surprised.

Drohns were the best presenters ever - great material, great life examples - best ever had in webce for last 10 yrs
I listened to the audio and took all the quizzes and somehow had 25 minutes of time to fill at the end of the course. I used he time to reread the glossary and review the quizzes but it was odd that the content didn't take the full 3 hours.
Terribly worded question on the final exam as well as practice questions.
The non-human, AI narration was monotonous, robotic and made it difficult to stay focused on the material being presented.

I am not normally a "video" type learner, but really appreciated the amount and quality of information provided by the presenters. I would definitely recommend this course to others.
30+ years experience; Maslow & Drucker never heard of; thought this was another "check the boxes" experience. But no, totally enlightened, very relative to my current employment. Made me feel validated to my work ethic that I have always had. I do want to share with my co-workers. I liked the part about bad people get away with doing unkind things if good people let them.
I recommend Web Ce to all insurance agents and I only use them now for 7 years.

This is the second course I am taking from WebCE. The first was the reason for me to sign up for the second.
Website is ancient. For a website with 'web' in it, I think you should invest in putting together some better branding and user experience. Shopify, Wordpress, Magenta etc should provide some cheap prices with premade templates for better presentation.

I have taken many CE courses in my career. This course was unfocused and hard to watch. They presented 20 minutes of information in 3 hours, and the exam was not well correlated with the course as presented. Horrible.

I prefer the format with both written and video instruction.
I have ADHD and I cannot stand to hear videos played at normal speed. It is very hard to stay focused on the content but with the ability to play at 1.75 speed I am able to stay engaged and listen better. That accessibility is very beneficial to my type of brain that gets bored easily. Thank you for including that feature.

My biggest concern is for the CE course you have made, the exams are as hard or harder than the state exams to get the license and by doing so could be jeopardizing agents license who may not be able to pass the exams.

Father Son Team did a great job for this topic.
I liked how they broke the sections into 10 minute segments. Because I want to finish a section in one sitting, I knew how much time it would take. I also appreciated how they encouraged us to write a PEC and gave tips on how to go about doing so.
In the beginning, the course seemed dry and boring, but when the speakers shared life experiences, it turned the course around and made it more relatable.

The Father/Son duo was very informative but also very entertaining. The Father's years of experience translated well in this educational course. And the Son, also knowledgeable, had his own sense of humor which kept it entertaining. Kudos to both of them!

This 3 hour course took way longer than 3 hours to get through all of the videos, exams after sections, and insurance video. More like 7 to 8 hours.
Perhaps some highlighted language/text for some of major/important facts when the discussion is so acronym and historical date heavy. The glossary was beneficial albeit intimidating at first glancing scroll.

I really liked the instructors for this course. They really brought to life the concepts of ethics and integrity in really great ways by using quotes and consistently using Rucker's information. I learned a lot more in this way and am inspired to put to action writing my own personal code of ethics.

Breaking up sections and audio to be under 20 min for each file would be ideal to help make the material easier to digest
I do my CE with you guys every 2 years. Very easy to navigate. And it's EXTREMELY helpful that all the pre-built packages you offer in my state all satisfy my state's renewal requirements. It would be really bad if I ordered a 24-hour package that didn't meet those reqs. I find everything to be really smooth on this site.

Not clear as to what to look for to continue based on left hand margin, was difficult to find course material--finally found it by pressing search button. Very convoluted!

I think the old catalog and combined courses were easier to choose from.

I aced the test
I really loved the course even though it is supposed to be boring, it was not and it was probably the first time I was actually truly engaged in an ethics course. The only suggestion I have is to introduce a slide that summarizes multiple point content. For instance , principles if leadership were listed one by one but there was no slide at the end listing all of them at once for better content retention
Apparently the California requirement was not that important other than making us listen to a largely irrelevant discussion. The "State" could have had a better presentation.

Father and son proctors. The son mentioned that his wife keeps a list of things he does wrong. I thought that might be a lie and a poor thing to say about the mother of his children - if it is not true- during the segment on "people forgive the mistake" but not the integrity of the person making it. I did not see it as comical if that was his intent. Shaming a spouse is not funny and the comment was distracting.

For a person who just moved to a state and have to complete CEU's. The stipulations for the mentor was challenging. We are required to get personal info that probably only a family member, coworker, supervisor or boss would entrust. I would not give some of the information asked for to an acquaintence. I reaches out to a person I worked with 12 years ago who lives here. Talk about a ram-in-the bush. Lord I thank you for being a providing God!
The voice of the reader/presenter could be a little less monotone.

I loved all the quotations and references to famous figures in history and learning about Tom Wolff and delving into Peter Drucker's advices. Who knew Confucius could be relevant to the modern day insurance agent? The instructors were very engaging and provided the right amount of humor.

The computer voice is a killer. Would love to see you implement some AI to assist with the reading of the content. The male computer voice is mono-tone, and really puts you to sleep. Otherwise, no issues. The course was spot on with what I learned in school and the practice tests were a great break from the curriculum.
I like the option to play the videos at a 1.5x speed.

I would suggest breaking up some of the content into multiple pages. Some of the pages take 45-50 minutes to get through with the read-it-to-me audio reading continuously.

Enjoyed the historic content about how insurance has evolved in the US.
I like how there was humor thrown in. Especially with topics like ethics, educators take it too seriously. There was just the right amount of fun thrown in to keep me interested but not too much that I felt like ethics shouldn't be a serious topic.

Overall, the course was pretty good. I would not recommend this course to a brand new agent. Seasoned agents know who Peter Drucker is, but I doubt new agents do or would care who Peter Drucker is.
This course need to be put more in layman's terms, it is difficult to understand in some of the definitions are worded in a way that requires reading multiple times for clear comprehension

The time indicated to complete the course should be modified. When it comes to remembering numbers (and quite a few of them), sometimes, more time needs to be spent to commit it to memory. The course was also a lengthy one. While I was not actually timed, I believe the time indicated should be increased so that students may plan accordingly. Otherwise, the course was very informative, and it appeared to have all of the information needed to successfully pass the course.

The mandatory hour at the end from the CDI was much drier and more tedious to get through than the rest of the course, which I thought was built much better. The last hour also needs to be updated as it is now 2025 and the course was from some time in 2022.
I normally like my WebCE course. This course has a lot of subjective content, poor examples and odd test questions.

I did not care for the computerized narrator. I had to turn it off after 1 chapter becasue it was detracting from my ability to absorb the material. Please consider hiring a voice actor or investing in better AI that mimics more human reading inflections and tonality.

The "read it to me" narration had great difficulty pronouncing acronyms and abbreviations such as flood zone indications in this course and roman numeral. The automation tried to make/pronounce words from acronyms and abbreviations that were not correct.
The videos were too long... they could have covered the material in 6-8 minute blocks instead of evrey video being 10 minutes

The business case examples such as US Automotive industry and GM not listening to Drucker's suggestions of assembly line change resonates. Numerous other case examples used to make key points were very effective. FOr a subject about always doing the right thing, they elevated the subject and challenged you to think about how you approach your business, how to engage with prospects and clients, and more deeply how to live your life. Best Ethics or Ethics related course I've ever taken. Video and quiz cadence extremely effective for learning, retention, and future application of what's been learned.

The scheduled time for this course is insufficient. It took me a minimum of 2hrs and 30 minutes, but I was allotted 1hr and 30 mins.
This coarse does NOT belong in insurance CE. Poor material at best, more importantly there was not one test question relevant to selling insurance. Send this to a psychology CE. This coarse is a stretch for relevance. You should be ashamed of the content and context. WORTHLESS

The only thing I would suggest would be to add more examples off different difficulty starting with easy examples to understand and then harder. I like courses that I can read, that have good outlines and stick to the subject. I felt this course could have been cut in half by leaving out most of the authors family background and experiences that I found boring and deviated from what I wanted to refresh on. For a brand new agent or producer this course might be helpful but for a continuing education course it was very tedious.

This course was not concise. There was too much focus on irrelevant detail. If presented more effectively, key topics would have been more clearly emphasized. In other courses offered the information is succinct.

Boring presentation by presenters. Talked too long. Content was good but very hard not to get sleepy or go to sleep

Some questions and sometimes the answers are too lengthy. Sometimes the wording are confusing.
This was a very good ethics course well worth the time. I plan to require my junior advisors to do this course when they need ethics because of the quality content
Didn't like the format of the course. Some of the videos weren't playing properly and missed some of the content that was being discussed. More information would have been better to see on the PDF of the course material reviewed and taught. Overall it was a good course, but probably wouldn't purchase it again if I have the choice.

EASY TO READ
Honestly, this class has a section on shaking hands and not picking your nose in front of clients. It's ridiculous...I can't believe either insurance people are so gross that this is necessary or that you cannot find better content.
Have been using webce for most of my 25+ years in insurance.
Doug and Doug are very effective presenters, good team.
It was very long. Listening vs reading it myself was very time consuming. I guess if we are to have the actual real-time hours, then this is sufficient. Otherwise, to read it ourselves, would probably be shorter time.

This was very outdated video for ethics. While I understand what they were trying to achieve I was not impressed with the style of the presentation nor the constant reference to one person for ethics.

The Read-It-To-Me audio was too fast. I tried .75 speed, and it was too slow.
This course has been the best online Continue Education Course I have taken in my 25 years as an insurance agent! I have learned more on this course than I have in any other course. I will be able to use what I have learned and it will help me be more successful in my career. This course was absolutely excellent!
I liked the subject matter. Sr could have spoken louder and with more "enthusiasm". But I am comparing him to the younger Jr. Both were great, and I believe they felt what they were delivering.

A lot of the industry material seems outdated and irrelevant. Using sales practices of the 1920s and eyebrows/body language as a testing point seems silly and far from helpful. Test on ethics and sales practices, not Sally's eyebrows...

The test was not relative to the course and was not similar to what we studied.
The I'm not a robot took too long and required too many entries. The speed of the audio was a little fast for me at 1, however to slow at .75. Course content was excellent and I learned a lot about something I thought I had decent familiarity with.
In the state of Florida public adjusters are not allowed to handle liability claims which includes a large percentage of the test questions.l
I enjoyed the video presentation, It made learning easier.

This was a good course. Straight forward and easy to understand. I especially liked the features where I could go back to previous pages and also the exit and save and the clock that showed how long I was studying.
I was surprised at how dated and condescending this course was. I don't like leaving a poor review but I think there should be some sort of warning so it could be avoided, especially in a course that is specifically required.

I loved the read it to me audio. My only complaint with it was that the reader needed a better pause between headings or sections so that everything didn't sound like one long run on sentence. But overall, I appreciated that option.

This was, hands down, the best CE course of any type that I've taken this year. The instructors displayed a high degree of emotional intelligence, which is DESPERATELY needed in our society today.
ETHICAL
I spent almost 6 hours to complete this course, it is supposed to be a 3 hours course.
The exam was hard, and it would be better if there were different people reading the information per chapter. The reading voice became boring, and I became distracted because it was the same voice the entire time on every chapter.
The video was very informative, thorough, and easy to follow. My only recommendation is for the notes to provide a little more detail for the students to refer to in the future after the course expires.

This took a lot longer to complete than 3 hours, even listening at 1.25x speed, but it was high quality material done well.

As someone with ADHD having the contents with audio made it so much easier to retain information. It kept me engaged and faster to move through the course.
Excellent, informative format with appropriate, hopeful content however, was too long for a course only providing 4 hours of credit.
The read-it-to-me audio helps, but without videos or in-chapter quizzes to break up the monotony of the longer chapters, it can be difficult to properly absorb the information on the first read.
I was surprised how much I enjoyed this course
Stick to the ethics portion of the class and do not promote other authors.
IT was simple and straight to the point. I wish it was some interactive videos or little skits especially for flood.

I have to admit. I was one of the people you mentioned at the end of the course who thought it would not be interesting. Boy, was I wrong! I've been in the industry for 34 years and this was hands down THE BEST ethics course I've ever taken. I got so much from this course. Thank you for taking what you do so seriously and bringing something of so much value to us.
I see nothing that needs to be changed
I don't like that the hours taking the test don't count towards cont ed hours. If the same amount of questions are given for a 3 hour course as a 6 hour course, the person doing more courses that are less hours spends more time on tests. Not fair
Very basic video presentation, but the info was fine.
I loved the format with these two instructors. Way better than what I have experienced in the past "corporate" sterile vibe that we usually have.
Thought it was refreshing to finally listen and not have to read. It was also nice to not have repetition of 20 years of ethics. New content was good.
This is ALOT of information to try to retain without the aid of a teacher. The fact that you cannot go back to review the material is completely unrealistic, and you should be able to. I had to take this test 5 times.
This was a very lengthy course and I do not think that the time scheduled was enough to go through the entire course, understand it and then test.
This was one of the better Ethical courses I have done.

In the 38-years of working in this industry, this is the best Ethics course I have taken. It not only thoroughly discussed ethics & integrity but did it while utilizing a sales-mentality. Outstanding course.

I really don't like the video-based training. The instructors seem to know what they are talking about, but spend a lot of time on things that seem unnecessary and had little to do with the questions that were asked in the exam.

Trainers Doug Dorn and Doug Dorn Jr were the best! I recommend this course to all sales people.
Good content, but the videos ran way too long.
Although I scored 100%, I did not like the test questions. I found them to be very longwinded when the course information was pretty succinct. The longwinded test questions, although I got all of them right, sometimes had multiple answers that could have been correct if taken subjectively, but remembering the course content, I understood the test creator's bias and chose accordingly. I think the test questions could be re-written with better clarity for the test-taker (this would also be more fair/ethical for the person whose judgment and comprehension is being examined).
This course was very easy and anyone who's competent with understanding the language and terminology can pass the final exam with flying colors. "Heads-up" the practice exam questions are not the same as the final exam questions. But it seemed easier to pass the 25 questions on the Final Exam. I scored 100% "Good Luck!!!!!!!"

The videos by the father and son were great! They made it educational but not verbose or boring. I felt I learned a great deal from them around ethics and applying ethical practices in my field of business.

The ethics content, videos, and handout were helpful and beneficial, but the hour long anti-fraud training video at the end with no final exam questions disrupted the flow of the entire course. Perhaps that should be at the beginning or a separate ethics course?

There were too many illustrations or examples from history, such as the GM/Japan example and the railroad story
The outline should be a little more detailed and informative, not just the title of what's being presented and explained.

i would have liked more video of examples displaying some of the terms and examples of coverages (like the difference between a mudslide and earth movement) otherwise , it was great.
During most of the course, the volume of the recording was insufficient, even when I turned mine up 100%. Speakers looked unprofessional.

I'm an old school agent since 1978 and still doing business. The current curriculum reflects the needs of the current generation. Due to no fault of yours, these courses are dumbed down...understandably so for Millenials, Gen Z...Gen Alpha should be a hoot!

After 33 years of being a licensed agent- I have been under the impression that sales and marketing concepts are NOT to be part of any Continuing education courses - and I felt that 80%+ that was the content of this course. Shocked WEB CE endorsed this course.
Under Chapter 7 "Its Your Responsibility" Quiz Question #1 Mary purchased a flood insurance policy many years ago .... which of the following is NOT a duty she has to perform in conjunction with her claim. I answered C. "Submit to an examination under oath if the adjuster requires this." System Response: "This answer is incorrect. The answer is "B. Show the policy provision granting coverage to the claims adjuster." Mary has several explicit post-loss duties, but educating the adjuster is not one of them." I found this very confusing and funny at the same time.
graphics help. i am never a fan of education with just words. my job pertains to using the fema website and map? where are the graphics to go along with it? i had to search it up my self. i know we are all adults. but not everyone can learn, take in, and absorb from just words.
audio is inconsistent from video to video. Some are particularly muffled, need a better audio engineer to equalize approprietly.

Course information did not relate well to the questions on the exam, there was a lot to be interpreted. Double negatives in a question are not helpful
I would recommend at the end of each chapter a summary of what was learned for each chapter.

This course was excellent! I am someone who typically struggles with online materials and tests and the way this material was presented from start to finish was perfect! I called the phone number to get help with ordering my CE classes and to check to see what I needed and I was extremely satisfied with the help I received from Kayla!!! I will be calling back in the future to get more courses with WebCE!!!

More of a slideshow moving text with the audio would help keep me engaged, but this was not too bad. I liked that I didn't have to read everything myself and could just sit and listen.
Each year I have to take an ethic CE and they are very borning and repetative with the same content. Doug and his son not only covered the assigned topic but gave great insight into ethics and selling. Very happy with content, presentation and the ease in understanding saled basics. I am 73 years old and prior to insurance I have sold a millions of dollars. Why, because I do as Doug has instructed. Sell trust first then product.

The ethics course was mediocre at best. The love affair with Peter Drucker was overdone and there were too many personal anecdotes that wasted time and distracted from relevant course material. Also, a lot of the material was inaccurate.

The video was quite poor - very hard to get thorugh.
Finding course was very difficult. Material is presented in a dry fashion and hard to pay attention. however i appreciated the read aloud since I have a vision impairment. need that option for test taking.

did not enjoy this Flood class. Very hard to absorb and understand.
The questions in the test was almost an insult to my intelligence. I 1st took the practice questions for each section to get an idea of what I needed to study. I then read the material and took the final test. The questions in the final test were significantly easier than the practice questions and I don't feel the practice questions were a fair example of the final test itself.

A lot of information wasn't on the exam. Too much information at times that wasn't relevant, it seemed.
This is the first time I've completed a course with these instructors. They made this course interesting and easy to keep focused.
The father-son presenters did an excellent job. i have been an agent for 45 years and they offered the best training I've experienced .

I am usually hesitant to take video classes as I tend to learn better by reading. This class proved me wrong -was the most interesting ethics class I've taken so far!

The presentation both met the requirements and provided many useful or reinforcing comments that help me in my practice or provide thought provoke ideas. Really enjoyed the time to learn. I have been a producer for over 20 years.
I was expecting the pdf file available for downloading to include the Chapters and lessons not the handouts.

This course was actually interesting, much less boring than others I have taken.
Web CE is my go to for continuing education. I highly recommend Web CE to my adjuster friends to stay current with law, ethics and claims handling.

We need to be more communicative on proctors that are required for these exams when they are needed. Learning the day of that i need to find someone to proctor my exam was very stressful.

I would have like to have more property and casualty examples when discussing ethics. Most of the examples presented were for life insurance.
I enjoyed the instructors and their ways of keeping the course interesting and funny.
ours reads like it was written by two or more authors . the first sections were confusing, dis-organized, and contradictory. Poor examples which in many cases didn't fit the content. Example; re-using the retaining wall damaged by wind in the contents section of the course. How would a retaining wall be damaged by fire and subsequently by wind. nonsensical.

Very difficult subject for a even a seasoned sales agent. Guess that's why we have a good relationship with a flood expert and write all such coverages through the same insurer.

Found it frustrating that I kept getting a message that I had timed out (while still watching the video and interacting). Had to enter the course again probably 10-15 times which slowed down the process and caused unnecessary interruptions in the course.

Ethics are real life situationally dependent. Going through definitions and theory are a usless endeavor. This was structured like a high school course and I found the content a complete waste of time. After listening to the first video I just skipped to the final exam. If I could undo my order of this packet I would.
The test questions should be more simplified and easily understood.

This training video is at least 10 years old. The scenarios are outdated, and video format is amateur at best.

Presenters were addressing issues that are no longer prevalent in our industry (dated) and some examples and solutions offered were cringe worthy.
This is a great experience. I believe I have used this platform when I first received my license log ago and the platform has greatly improved. Yay to technology.
Wish FEMA/NFIP would use WebCE for annual renewals of my NFIP Registered Adjuster FCN. The 6 hour NFIP seminar is a waste of everyone's time and imparts no usable information or skill building.
I spent more than 3 hours to finish this course. The DOI video itself is one hour long. I think this course should affored more than 3 hours CE credits.
The large exams do not promote actual learning. The smaller units followed by exams tend to work better in this online format.
Getting from the Colonial "My Learning Connection" page to Web CE is the problem. Once on your page things were fine.

Forced study by locking sections and forcing chapter exams a time waster. Too much talk, not enough info. Use of PDF confusing...Video only option slows down learning IMO...Mandatory DOI presentation adds an additional hour...elementary information...
Honestly, i would not buy anything from either of these fellows. In addition, I would nt use them as a guide to ethics. The course could have been called, "Get you clients to trust you and you can make more money!" Or,"Ten ways to convince your clients that you are trustworthy, even if you're not!" This course had little to do with ethics, but a lot about successful sales gimmicks.

If available, I’d like to see an updated version from the presenters. I took this exact course previously. Obviously I enjoyed it and wouldn’t have paid money to repeat it for my CE two year later, but if they have any newer content, I’d like to view that.
I'd suggest making it more interactive instead of pages and pages and pages of reading that all tends to blend together. Videos and other visuals will help students remain engaged and interested in the content being taught.

The Course was easy to navigate. The presentations were entertaining and informative. after spending hours reading another course for 8 credits it was good to just listen, learn and ace the Exam.
I ordered my course late so the office was closed. I was confused by the insurance CE package because it was different from what I had taken before and I was not sure if the California life and health requirements changed. Also I did not know this course was not open book until I purchased the course.
The time needed to finish was far to long for a 4 hr credit
I wish the reader of the class had a more excited voice and that there were videos.

First time I've experienced a course that reads the audio out loud and I thought it was beneficial

the audio could be less robotic sounding so its easier to undertand. Visual slide shows would help as well.
I wish it was a little more clear up front that this wasn't a self study course but rather had video attendance requirements. That said, the content was excellent. I had to break it up because of the time it takes but it was easy to come back to.
Some terminologies like "preclude" can be very confusing. Legal terms should be defined.

The course material language at times ambiguous in the context it was presented. Using more simple terms would be sufficient in grasping the concept. Some of the material seemed contradictory or generated more unanswered questions.

Great instructors in the video. The video occasionally advanced when I didn't intend for it to, however.
One of the speakers had a very soft-spoken voice so it was extremely had to hear him despite my excellent hearing and good speakers.
My preference is to be able to read and mark up instructional books vs listening to a video.

Not enough time for the information presented.
I have been taking courses like AML and Ethics, etc for over 20 yrs. This course lacked quality content. I found most questions silly or unreasonalbe. A better focus on real ethical behaviors, ethical standards, genuine meanful content.
in the sample questions after each chapter- on at least 2 occasions I marked the correct answer, but it was graded wrong (saying I chose another answer)

Doug Dorhn Sr. and Doug Dorhn Jr. were wonderful! They were refreshing and made the class enjoyable. I also loved being able to watch them discuss the material as opposed to reading it like I usually do with other CE courses.
This was The BEST Ethics Course I have ever taken. These two gentleman are excellent at giving practical advise and the format is excellent. I plan on taking this course in the future.
I wish it wasn't just people who were talking. I like the approach of a powerpoint vs feeling lectured.
some ares were confusing especially I was sure there was conflicting information about the the subsidies not being eligible when an owner sells his house. Did not see anything mentioned about transferring the policy, yet was in the test.. There were several items on the test that I could not seem to locate ( or easily locate ) in the material .. Otherwise great course

The Examples given were excellent. In so many courses taken over the years the information provided has gaps that need to be further clarified with examples are they are usually not provided. Further clarification with an example / scenario is often needed to fully understand the subject matter. The examples and explanations given were perfect and helped so much.

The Ethics Class in which you see the persons giving he lecture was much better than the computer voice reading the content to me.

Good class, relevant material/ information, good delivery, good examples.
Reading of materials should be live reading instead of AI to allow inflection and emphasis and appropriate application of concepts.

Love the humor! The self-awareness of the funny answer about the coworker completing the CE very fast is top tier comedy.

This format made Ethics more interesting. That can be a real challenge and you succeeded. Generating a Personal Code of Ethics is a great idea that I will implement.
The content was more Sales related, than overall Ethnics.

I did not like the "time fillers" used during the course that were unnecessary to ethical behavior Such as looking someone in the eye. How to shake a hand, ect... Very confusing verbiage.
Dad & son didn't pass my "eyeball" test as professional instructors, and their video's were cheaply made. They refer to Peter Drucker much too often and misquoted him in Ch 8.1: Drucker used those definitions to define the difference between Efficiency and Effectiveness in leaders. Also the practice test answers in Ch. 5, Q2 had an inaccurate answer: right answer is to understand which business you are in. Drucker's book gave the example of buggy whips not understanding their business was transportation. The son says the work "now" way to often in each session. And, Ch 6.2 was more about making better sales calls than ethics.

I'm taking a lot of training courses for my new job. I struggle with courses that are textbook like. I learn better with more interactive courses (Total CSR interactive lessons are an example). I did like WebCE offered the course to be read through with you, the chapter exams and the final exam.

I liked it very much. Use of legitimate scholarly thoughts was refreshing, maybe overly simplified by time constraints.
There should be a button/flag stating "are you sure you want to revisit a course that you have already completed." That way, if you accidentally click on a chapter you have completed thinking you are "resuming" where you left off, you will not waste time as the system lets you go back through it as if you had never taken it.
Personally do not like Web courses.

I have been taking these CE tests for many years. This is by far the most well written, articulate, and well-organized that I have taken.
Much of this course was not ethics. It was boring and off topic.
As an agent for 15 years, I always dread the ethics course the most. This was the first time, I liked it. In fact, I loved it!!! It was educational and inspiring to do the right thing. Personal and fun stories, made it exceptional. Thank you!!!

It was not understood that the Exam covered every topic studied under the learning package selected until I got into the Exam.

I can't pinpoint what changed, but I found this course much more effective than the last flood course I took. It was easy to follow, not overly detailed. Just a bit of repetitive information which I find helpful.

By using videos with no written content, it took me 4 hours to complete a 3 hour credit.
It seemed the stated FNA approach results were still more focused on the benefits to the producers, not doing the right thing for the client. 4 of 5 reasons are producer focused benefits - 1. Easier close 2. Higher closing ratio 3. satisfied customers 4. better referrals 5. greater average sales.

The language in the exam was not always clear; I had to read each sentence a few times to understand what was being asked.

That was painful. Essentially, this "ethics" course was about how to be "ethical" so you can sell more insurance. Also, if they cited Peter Drucker any more they'd probably have to pay royalties.

Over the years I have taken many courses from WebCE, but this was the most BORING and long-winded course I have ever taken. The presentation by the father and son team was waaaaaaa too long and redundant and the section by the DOI provided minutia that is irrelevant to the subject of ethics.
Questions were made to trick you and not see how much you learned.
Some of the charts had very small print; enlarging it made it blurry

This is my 4th recertification and it really helps to stay abreast with information that we rarely use at times. WeCe keeps it very plain and informative.
I have used IRMI in the past and did so this time and will absolutely use again. When I first got started I had messed up and clicked on the wrong class...one call and the attendant got me on the right class and transferred my payment over to I didn't have to repay for the correct class...NOW THAT IS SERVICE!!! The authenticity and knowledge of this father and son team is to be commended. Enjoyed and learned. Was skeptical about the "life-changing" pledge. However, he was right. Kudos. Only suggestion is to update slides/PowerPoint presentation. The Maslow correct response is not the same in the corresponding slide. I referred to it for the chapter test and missed it because of that. Knew the answer but it made me question myself.

totally spoken courses are not my favorite - also, I did find some of the comments a bit jarring and out of step with current moves towards inclusivity (wife jokes, etc....) I am not humorless, it just didnt seem terribly professional, given the course content.

These guys are well qualified but hard to watch - kind of boring.
I enjoyed the portion presented by the Dohm's very much. They made drab content interesting. However, the last section on fraud by the CA Enforcement Branch was very difficult to remain focused.
The guys in the videos need a new haberdasher.
This course took me most of the day to complete. 3 CEU courses should take 3 hours, not all day. Also, some of the content has nothing to do with Ethics, i.e. body Language and Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs???
This is three hours course, but the video is more than three hours, plus exam, take about four hours.

The ethics section was more of an autobiography than a learning experience. Too much personal information from presenters. I a have been licensed for over 30 years, don't need a tutorial on "how to sell"
i would have the audio explain a bit more of the charts instead of having it tell you to pause to review the chart

have the instructor watch is hand and body signals. there is a lot of hand talking going on. which some people probably like, but others might think it is distracting. please do not take this as a negative, overall i enjoyed the training very much

WebCE is an easy to use tool. The video option is very nice. This particular course had boring presenters. One of the two looked down at his own notes too often.
The video presentation of this course with nothing to read made it take much longer than it needed to.
When using the left and right arrow keys to go back and forward on the videos, it moved 2 seconds at a time. I think 4-7 seconds is better.

I learn better visually than with audio. I would like to have had the option for it to be written.
It took much longer to read the material than 3 hours. More lists with bullet points rather than long sentences which are difficult to "take in" at times would help that. The charts included helped but there could be more diagrams. Also more examples of concepts help.
Need to do a better job on the questions.... I feel that some questions in regards to section 6 were to loose.
Have used WebCE for years for my license requirements.

This was the first CE class in years that I found truly engaging and well presented, with competent and realistic advice and challenging questions. Additionally, thanks for the option to speed up the videos. 1.5 speed was perfect.
There is what appears to be a typographical error in the glossary. Reduction and Reformation of Coverage: A standard flood insurance policy (SFIP) provision that establishes conditions under which the policy will be considered to provide lower limits of insurance than those shown in the declarations because the *amount of insurance* submitted with the application was not enough to support the requested limits. The starred phrase should read "premium" rather than "amount of insurance".

I maintain an intense dislike of web-based training and would prefer either a teacher or a book.
I am a broker that does not sell or have any knowledge of flood insurance. I do think this will help me retain it. I would rather have a reference book. i wish I could have brushed up on p/c. I wasn't allowed to take it since I took it 2 years ago. I only work part time and need that more tahjn anything.

This was a video course about ethics but the video lecture did not feel professional at all. I was excited to see a video course option, but this experience has left me feeling very unlikely to order another one from WebCE.

Excellent course. Long but informative and closely matched the final exam. I thought I scored 100% as I answered the 25th question the same as the system showed when I asked to see the 1 incorrect question, number 25. I answered D. Changes types of coverage ...ie personal or business computer is covered.

How do CE Courses really teach or refine ethics? You either have good ethics, or you don't. I really feel this is just a check the block type of requirement. 3 hours out of my day when I could spend it with clients and helping them... being ethical.

The instructors were clear and engaged, using personal examples and took turns switching back and forth speaking/teaching in the various discussion modules to keep it interesting.
Enjoyed it and it was very helpful. Loved the examples given could relate to it in my own life. Would recommend this course to others and the format was much better than reading and taking tests as in the past CE courses.
The content of this lesson was not at all engaging and I did not come away from the module with any new information. I didn't find any value in this lesson. Specifically, there was no variety of learning modes, only unengaging video with slides that had minimal visual impact. Additionally, I went through the lesson completely without skipping any part of the module, and finished it in 2 hours and 40 minutes. I needed to waste 20 minutes of time staying in the lesson to unlock the exam. This was a very disappointing lesson and not up to the standard I expect from WebCE. I've been using WebCE for nearly 11 years and this makes me want to search for another company for CE.

That was the best ethics course I've ever taken in my decades of being a producer
I liked that it was a different approach to Ethics than classes I have taken in the past. New things to think about. The only downside was a lot of the humor fell very flat. The "asking a fat woman when the baby is due" and "Girl Scout sells cookies outside marijuana shop" are ancient stories that have been retold too many times (and have had memes for years). Otherwise a very interesting course.
The content was interesting at times & not super interesting at other times. I think some of it may have been due to Sr's lack of emotion or expression. Webce.com had better pricing than other places I checked & I needed exactly 3 credit hours (2 for ethics) so I was happy to find more than 1 class with 3 on ethics.
This was very lengthy, but definitely detailed and educational. I learned a lot about flood within 4 hours.

Great course! Material was relevant and had a lot of backing. Loved the back and forth between the speakers. Instructors understood the material and had great examples to help make messaging clear.
The California Anti-Fraud video had closed-captioning. There were so many grammatical errors, it was distracting. It didn't have periods at the end of sentences, no capitalization at the beginning of sentences, etc...
Flood is definitely well covered in this form.

I enjoyed the fact that my time devoted to full completion of this course was reasonably paced and held my attention the entire time! Some of the coursework I entirely too drawn out and lengthy; coupled with being extremely boring, it was difficult to remain focused for the duration of the course. I am glad this class has been completed and I am nearing full completion and compliance with ALL of the assigned coursework!!

I thought I would not be interested however the presenters did a good job of speaking interestingly and keeping my attention so that it was easy to listen to.
I found the site and material very easy.
About half of the course seemed to be a history lesson and personal stories of the instructors. I would have preferred getting only concise information needed for course completion and exams.

I must have read this quickly, but did not realize this was a video presentation. I would have watched a live presentation for this rather than watch recorded video. The presenters were enthusiastic about the learning, but too much on Peter Drucker, the question on Maslows Heirarchy of Needs was not correct, and this was a very simple course. I did like the PEC that they suggested if there was a highlight.
I loved the material used for the course really made you think & was creative. Helped with understanding concepts better by giving personal experiences as examples
NFIP is very dense and technical and I do not think there is an easier way to present all the technical terms thanks to all the overlapping legislative programs.
I did not like the fact that many choices were unethical to me and I had to choose what I felt was the worst situation that did not match the person's who wrote the course.

A pdf of the main points would have been helpful, pausing to take notes was distracting, and with good content you want the notes.
I thought the course was well in prepared in the pre-learning prior to testing in that it made some great examples when referencing the particular policy aspects. The preliminary information was however EXTEREMELY broad in scope and no one short of a P&C Ph.d verteran adjuster would be able to handle it all. With that said you compensated by coming "back down to Earth" in the final test content in that you narrowed it back down and also offered some "Logic Opportunity" as a function of the test criteria for those that have a brain that works. So all in all it was a great refresher, but possibly to overwhelming for a young adjuster, and with an acceptible test difficulty level for those that did not freak out in the presentation material.. Not too bad but again thats coming from a 25 year Property vet with some background in all lines and an AIC...

The Flood laws have changed. RR2.0. Where this classes does touch on it slightly. There needs to be more info on the RR2.0 program. Since the NFIP has merged over to using the RR2.0 and the requirements

I love this tool! It is so efficient and I love how quickly my course completion is reported to the state. I don’t worry about the continuation of my license being in jeopardy because of this site reports my immediate progress to the state hourly, therefore my compliance is never in question. WebCE is so trustworthy and they prove it hour after hour, day after day!
Great Program
This course was something different than the ones I've taken before - it was 'video', not reading material, and it was offered by an independent educational institution. It turned out that it was very interesting - the course not only talked about ethics in the insurance world but also ethics in general that runs the bases of our daily life (including working in the insurance industry).
This was the best ethics course that I have ever taken.
This entire course was video, many of the segments were longer than the freeze out time for the course however. So while I was watching the course would time out and make me log back in even though I was engaged and paying attention! Very frustrating.
I've used WebCE since I've started in the insurance industry which was 2009. Very easy to use and great content.
The course was easy to understand and remember.
This was a very theoretical class and the fellows talked way too slowly.
The questions are more into logical thinking of understanding instead of finding answers studied in the chapters, It's hard to understand and answer correctly due to the language bearer.
I enjoyed the younger instructor's wit. laughter is always good
I didn't like how the Senior presenter kept saying "God" in a lot of his comments. Ironic since this is a course on ethics and includes an emphasis on not offending people.
This course was selling itself and their method of ethics little too hard. It was really distracting and by the end it was really hard to trying to parse out the information they were trying to give since it got really anecdotal. I know that's just how ethics courses go, but I was struggling to stay engaged by the end.
After 15 yrs as an FA, this has got to be the BEST ethics class I have ever had!! I also spent 24yrd in the USAR's and have a MS in Counseling. Really liked these instructor's!!!

I really liked the content of this course in comparison with other Ethics course.
When I first realized I needed to watch the video instead of just reading the material and taking the test, I was annoyed. When I sat down and went through it, I actually learned a lot more than if I had just read the material. I was more attentive to the material, and really enjoyed the presenters. I loved it!

would like to see more "text" and have the main points summarized at the end in text format to support the verbal.
The presentation style was very simple but effective. I enjoyed the videos and how the trainers spoke about real people and real experiences.
I was just going to rip through this course on ethics, but I really enjoyed what the presenter was saying and so took a lot more time to think about his course.

I have been an agent since 1996. This is the best CEU’S ethics course I have done. Also explains the old school methods that I found unnerving in my early career. I feel more validated for doing the right things along the way even in the face of pressure from poor management philosophies. I hold MS CLU ChFC AIF.
Set the playback speed at 1.25 and it made it easier to listen to.

my personal learning is best reading material on my own
When a a chapter is very long, it would kick me out after a certain amount of time because of inactivity even though it was still reading to me.
The video content was ok. However, I found it to be slow-moving at times. But the biggest frustration for me, was that every video was in the range of about 10 minutes long. The system logs us out after 5 minutes of activity. I had to remember to pause the videos about 4 or 5 minutes in, and then resume....so the system wouldn't log me out. Everytime I was logged out - I had to go back and re-start my videos. I really found this format very frustrating and will probably avoid the video-style training modules in the future.

I thought the course was extremely informative compared to all of the previous flood courses I was required to take over the past 25+ years.
I am more of a self-paced guy and watching videos is a little cumbersome for me, however, both presenters (father and son) were awesome and true professionals. I got some things out of the course I was not expecting.

Taking this course made me think - is the required hours a number they just felt was needed or necessary? Or was the course work put together and it takes this many hours to complete so that's the hours we will require? 1 issue is the 8hr and 12hr courses finished an hr sooner then the hrs stipulated. and the course seemed repetitive. I think the course could shrink by 3hrs and clean up some of the repetitive material and get the times to equal the actual time it takes to listen to the material. Other than that this course and tests were great! Very appreciative of the online option to do at home at your own pace!! It's an awesome way to get CE done!!!
reading it once is not enough to know all the answers. It takes time to understand things and people need to actually to some examples to understand it.

Flood insurance is a vast subject and though I've been an insurance broker for over 20 years, I'd never studied it. My only complaint was that three hours of credit is WAY TOO LOW. I put in well over 10 .

The exam was incredibly easy, even I suspect for the most basic of insurance beginners. Please toughen up 8-10 questions on this exam by making MCE alternative (but "wrong") choices more reasonable.

This video course is terrible. The presenters are dry, the content is goofy and silly examples and steer away from the true focus of ethics. The course is nothing more than using another authors content and trying to make it there own and has very limited value on actual ethics in the insurance industry.

This course provides 3 hours of ethics CE but took more than 3 hours to complete.
Im pretty sure i went over the estimated course time by using the read it to me audio by over 30 minutes excluding the test. The other thing I severely dislike is Blind test results. Once again I'm walking away knowing I have incomplete knowledge, on a subject that prior to the course, I had No knowledge or prior training of what so ever.

It would be nice if you offered Ethics courses for only one or two hours of credit. Often find myself only needing an hour to complete by requirement, but end up having to take 3 hours.

this was my first time to choose a video-only presentation with a closed book exam. I realize I prefer to skim through information in a text format due to time constraints and knowledge of other courses but this Ethics presentation was unique and I didn't want to miss any of the details so it took much longer than I expected to complete this course.

I really enjoyed this course. Although familiar with many of the concepts, it was a great reminder of some things and added some beneficial ideas to focus on in order to improve.
Practical application of ethics training is helpful. Most ethics training boils down to compliance instead of anything actually ethics related and is usually not helpful. This was a breath of fresh air.

The price was right and the quality of material was excellent.
This course couldn't decide if it was a course on ethics or sales techniques. There was an entire section on reading body language. That is purely a sales training. There were numerous other incidences of discussion of pure sales technique. While good sales technique is certainly ethical...it's NOT the point of this course. I wish I had not enrolled in this particular course. (I'm a 20 year licensed "veteran") WebCE is Great! This course needs to be re-evaluated.

This was an excellent way to present an ethics course.
Quiz at the end of Section 6 has a typo which appears, after answering the quiz questions, in the comment and states the son bit the dog. Also, providing clear distinctions between actual 2011 ISO HO3 policy wording and the author's wording would help clarify information in this course. The course sections appear to be long continuous flows of ideas without clear and precise distinction between actual 2011 ISO HO3 policy excerpts and the author's text.
Since the Risk Rater 2.0 change on October 1, 2021 it would be great to see more info on that.
I found that several times the course indicated that I had been timed out when I was active in the course. I found it troubling as i was shorted on the time credited on completing the course. It rook over 4hours to credit the three hours required.

The question about what is needed for a policy to go into effect says photo, deed, bribe, or premium unless on installments. I selected photo and got it wrong. Since deed and bribe are not required the only option is premium. I didn't select this because NFIP doesn't offer installments.

I did not want an audio course but a written PDF class. The course description did not emphasize that this was a long boring series of videos.
The course was great overall, but there are parts that I think would be confusing to someone who is a beginner to the industry. The wording in the endorsement section was at times unclear.
The Homeowners 2011 Policy: Understanding the Coverages Course is one of the most difficult On-Lone Continuing Education Courses that I have ever taken. The content contained an enormous amount of information to be absorbed quickly. For me, the Read-It-to-Me Audio is a useless feature. I tried it and found it difficult. When reading/Listening to so much information, I had to take notes. The Read-it was not helpful, resulted in distraction, and becoming disorganized. I will say that I needed the course and learned quite a bit. This course is much more effective that a simple "listen and learn" course with no Exam. That type of course is useless and no one learns anything. I really hope to see some examination of your course, It has many great features, but it needs to be condensed, note taking made easier for the student, a Course Booklet provided so that we don't ruin our eyes with concentrated watching of the computer screen, and become extremely frustrated with the difficulty of trying to concentrate. BUT: thanks for the course, I learned a lot, and achieved my objectives. Thanks again.

With this course, I liked the dialogue and the case examples discussed. It made the session enjoyable and easy to follow.
The humor the two instuctors use at times is derogatory. The pregnant woman joke, my wife keeps a long list of my faults... is off putting
I don’t recommend people for anything in case they have issues.
Going into this, I expected the materials to be dry and uninteresting. I actually felt the delivery and content of the materials were not only helpful for my specific job, but will help me do better at whatever I plan to do moving forward - both career-wise and personally.
The course made a difficult subject understandable. I thought I would be bored, but I found the course enjoyable and interesting.

Took me a while to figure out that I was suppose to click on the course where it showed what was going to be covered in the course to get to it. Only thing I saw to click on was the exam. Also this is listed as a 3 hour course and I was only given 1 hour to complete it. Need more time to finish it.

I really like that this class was done in a video format. It's my opinion that both of the instructors are excellent communicators and they made the class interesting and it was easy to stage engage.
Spelling and grammar needs improvement
I took Evelyn Wood Speed reading course I read at 860 words a minute with 85% comprehension. I dislike the bog down of video content as I can complete the reading material much faster. However, the course was very good, I found it to be ept for those who do not speed read. BUT I will avoid video classes next round of CE

The best and most interesting course Ive taken
I would have benefitted from a smoother transition from page to page using the read-it-to-me feature. Perhaps an option to select only to stop at the end of a chapter instead of at the end of each subsection. Otherwise it got the job done, I got 100%.

The wording of the questions MUST be revised by a professional linguist who a native English speaker (born and raised in the U.S.) as it appears that all these test questions were put together either by an uneducated person or by a Philippine person from Manila who was hired to prepare this material and the exam /test (i.e. 99% of all such materials and tests are created in Asia). You cannot outsource this insurance program overseas as the language or the jargon will suffer and become unclear. I would say the language is barely recognizable as Insurance Jargon that used to be the case in the early 1990s at all A.D. Banker Insurance test sites across America. I am very sad to see the Insurance Jargon to diminish into this nonsensical and poorly-phrased imitation of an insurance Continuing Education material.
I like the format before. I was not a fan of Tom Wolff.
The reading could be better
While there was some good content in the course, in general, the course felt dated. It assumed a work model based on face-to-face meetings. 90% of my business is by phone and Zoom. And seriously --- handshakes???
Good content; broader than ethics. Videos slow; would prefer more multi-modal adult tailored learning.
I have trouble seeing and would like larger print.

The content of this course is usually mind numbing. I appreciated the life lessons offered and the added information regarding John Stewart Mill and Peter Drucker.
This was an amazing course. It had me to revisit some things regarding my own PEC that I have not yet created. The course was very well organized and really great because of audio and visual learning which is excellent communication for retention

great course. Very well done. Good balance between important content and a relaxed style of presentation. Lots of really good ideas and suggestions for both career and life. One quiz question and answer should be reviewed. There is a question about the mistake that the railroad companies made in thinking of themselves only as railroad companies. As the story is told they missed seeing that their actual opportunity was to control other areas of transportation like trucking. The answer matching this is indicated as incorrect in favor of one that discusses seeing what helps/hurts them. This language was not used in telling the story. I think the answer about missing the actual opportunity better illustrates the point being made "whayt business are you really in?) and is as good or superior to the answer which is shown as correct. Thanks for a great job!

Because the conversations were so long, the material was always logging me out for the 20 minute delay
The auto play of the next section feature did not work. I always had to manually click to the next section, which was no big deal, but annoying because whenever the course launched it would ask if I wanted to turn on auto play.
This is my first time using WebCE. It was recommended to me by some co-workers. I found it easy to use and the content was engaging. I like the fact that I can stop and start the lesson. This makes it easier to fit into my schedule.
The company one works for gains if employee makes the right decision in all circumstances.
Certificates should be forwarded directly to the Louisiana Department of Insurance.

When going back to search within the course (during the exam), it was not the easiest searching through a verbatim transcript. It would have been nice for the transcript to be optional, but also be paired with bulleted list of key points.
Course was better and more illuminating than I thought it would be, lots of good nuggets of wisdom.
I had difficulty reading the information, often found poor grammatical errors which resulted from transcribing the class as the speaker spoke.
Great content and ease of use. Especially enjoyed the timing available to complete.

All checkpoint quizzes need to have the correct answers revealed before moving on to the next section.
I was able to listen to the videos at 1.75x speed and still absorb the content. This is a great time saver. Thank you.

Presented very well and clear
I don't like how you will introduce an acronym and then from then on use that acronym throughout the whole course as if were to instantly memorize every acronym. Because eventually they all pile up till it's a bunch of nonsense that I can't understand

Course very detailed and informative. I find that the mini test given and graded with explanations throughout the course is better. This helps retain information, than a long study course then exam.

I would move Glossary to the beginning or at least the acronyms
we were required to spend 3 hours in class, but the videos only lasted 2.5 hours. So we had to go back and re-listen to content--big waste of time!
Suffered a flood loss, found out we were eligible for funds to elevate the home but adjuster never told us about that. Other than that the claim was handled well. We were in a preferred zone but I bought the policy anyhow. Turns out to one of the best investments I made. (no longer rated as a preferred zone)

I have trouble comprehending long questions in these exams and it would be very helpful to someone with a learning disability to have accommodations for the exam
The course says it is 2 hour course and feel very strongly that on all these courses actual course work is more than double the time that course says it is.
Out of all the courses I took, I thought this final exam was the most difficult.
I really liked the presenters and enjoyed the examples, humor and their way of communicating.
I always use WebCE and recommend it!
Presentation dry and boring
I liked the online classroom setting. The courses that are words on a screen that are read to you in monotone are hard to follow, but the combo of real people talking with tonality and story telling helped me to learn.
This class and the test was very easy and understandable. My only suggestion is maybe to get a person to read aloud rather than a computer. Other than that, it was great!

I don't have sound on my computer, so I just read the course, which was fine.
This is NOT an ethics class. This is a SALES APPROACH class with a few of Drucker's ethical comments. Come on gang! Ethics requirements should be dialed down to what is right and not. Yes there are shades of gray - the essence of ethics - and that's where the material should focus. Every other year I'm amazed at how crappy the ethics required courses diminish. Try to choose the least best right maybe kinda answer. Tell me I'm wrong. If you really want to gauge a producer's morals and ethics then incorporate real-life E&O,s. Hands down this course was pathetic!! Thank you for wasting my time. Oh, and fire the person who thought this presentation actually helps a producer to make ethical decisions.
I do like the read to me portion. It makes it easier to keep focused but the number 0 were read as alphabetical sounds instead of numeric.
The material was great but i'm more of a visual and interactive learner. Also at the end of the exams it will let you review questions you got wrong with the answers that you chose but won't give you the correct answer?
I found it interesting that, in this course about ethics, one of the instructors could be so casually misogynistic when he stated that he makes mistakes and his wife keeps a list of them.
question 16 was a tad racist with the proof of citizenship answer option
I had to call in to have my Safelite and my account attached. The gal that took care of me did a great job, helping me to choose which courses to take.
This coarse is a waste of time and effort. absolutely no help to the insurance producer or prospective clients ..what a shame and waste of money. Are these guys psychologist or insurance producers? Experts on human behavior? This coarse has no business in professional CE training. Shame on Web CE. Stick to the facts.

Ethics and the Trust Factor should not be listed as ethics, this course is about selling insurance with ethics and trust mentioned in the discussion.
This is one of our favorite ethic courses. It gives real information that can be applied by anyone.
I thought the content and presenters were spot on. I enjoyed the review and took away a few new ideas to put into my practice.

I would like to have a transcript that I could have IN front of me in entirety while the video was going. I found the speed of which the transcript too slow.

This is the fourth class I have taken with with WebCE and it is by far the best. Listening to the audio on the previous three classes was horrible and so monotone. These guys were interesting and made some corny jokes that helped keep focused. Overall considering this was online videos I really liked them. Wish the other three were done by these guys.

I thought that the 2 presenters did a good job of bringing information into what can be a very boring topic, at least for those of us who practice high ethical behaviour. Great course and time well spent
The audio voice will put you to sleep. Audio quality could use improvement as well. However, having the audio option is critical to me because it does hold my attention better than me reading the material on my own.
I just don't like watching videos. I'd rather read the material and take the test.
it was great! it would be nice if the volume button didn't reset every single time I hit the next page. same for the audio speed. I preferred the speed of 1.4 and it would have been great for it to hold that speed throughout the content without having to adjust it for every page.

I have used 2 other CE courses in my career and this one has so far been the best. I love that you can listen and read at the same time and that the questions tell you where to look if you get stuck

Loved the conversational nature of this course.
There needs to be a quicker way to get to the keywords after you search for them. That makes it more time-consuming. Claim Reps usually always have lots of work to get back to.
I had a hard time following the content of this course. It seemed like there were too many personal stories that the presenters gave and they didn't really mean much for the content. I was lost on some of it, but could get the answers correct from just common sense. I did like the PDF for the course, I learned more from it.
GREAT PROGRAM
The material was good, and the examples were great. The presentation was hard to listen to, and I ended up reading it half way through because I found the presenters very monotone. They are well versed in the topics and their cadence was good.
I actually did not like read-it-to-me audio, but at least that was an option.
I enjoyed the instructors and have learned a lot that I can use everyday. Thank You.
Have used for 18 years
The audio is computerized, therefore not conducive to learning. The computer reads each module like one incredibly long sentence.
I enjoyed that the review chapters were easily accessible.
The course handout was confusing. Of the 70 page handout, pages 1-9 were only "Topics Overview". So I was busy taking a lot of notes because the printout was so skimpy. I thought that was all that was available. But then I discovered that Pages 10-70 were actually the expanded course notes for the whole class. They should have been 2 separate handouts, or at least contain some explanation about the 2 different sections.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course, especially the credibility of both presenters. Very easy to listen to with sincere hopes that the producer will be a better agent after completing the course.

Someone should read the questions in this exam. It was the dumbest material. It am amazed that the state insurance board allowed this to meet the guidelines for ethics hours. WebCE should have higher expectations of their material.

I am an assistant so as good as this education was it didn't really apply to me except for social skills.
I feel the 25 question exam was too much at the end as it was a little time consuming.

I thought the course was engaging and easy to follow. I wish the handout had a few points that they addressed in the video portion written under the bullet points so I can reflect back on what their recommendations or suggested actions were to reference later.
I would ask that you fix the wording on number 17 of the homeowners Policy Test.. None of the answers consists of the roomers, but the questions asks "which of the roomers would have coverage for their belonging under Sandy's policy"

i used auto play and it ended in under 2 hours for a 3 hour course? i had to rewatch a bunch of them and waste time to get 3 hours. AUTOPLAY you would think would last the length of the course. The handout had very little on it that could be studied. Some cards were just words with no meaning.

I really liked that the videos had the text scrolling just below(specifically that it kept pace with the video). It enabled me to engage with the content more effectively.
This course took longer than 12 hours to complete and the continuing education credits should have been more in line with 15 or 18. I find this is consistent with WebCE courses.

The information was quite redundant. In addition, some sections were way too long and jam packed that it seemed like they would never end. It’s much easier to grasp the information when broken down into multiple pages or sections.

Course good, but voices a bit monotone.
Easy to use. That's my main criteria.
The computer voice is almost good. but annoying too many times. It mispronounced words, paused too long at commas, and said things like "one colon zero zero" for 1:00 or said "dash" instead of "minus" in a math question. It was overall distracting too many times.
I disliked the constant reference to Ducker.
I've been in this industry for 36 years, and taking courses both online and in person for all those years. I would rank this as one of the 2 worst courses in those 36 years of CE courses.

There was clearly extensive effort in putting together a well organized lesson plan. The helicopter view was clear and I did a mental check list as we went through the course that these gentlemen were hitting the points they had outlined. They were each easy to follow and gave this dry topic life with the research and the real life examples. I expected the senior to be excellent and he was. His son has taken his Father's mentoring to heart. However, they each have their own style and it compliments the course to have them alternate. Ethics isn't easy to teach, and usually somewhat dreaded, but this time it was not dry. I like these guys. If they were local I'd invite them to speak at a NAIFA meeting.

I like the Ethics presentation by Doug Dohrm, Sr. and Doug Dohrm, Jr. It is very engaging, and I feel like I learned something professionally and personally. I wish there are many more CE classes that are like this.

When I saw Dad and Son pop up, I thought to myself, “This will be a long 3 hours”. In reality they were great and it was a far more enjoyable and beneficial CE class than I am used to taking in the flesh or online. Well done.
I didn't like the sales 101 information. I haven't used the sales tactics these gentlemen were talking about since the 80's. The ethics portions were great, the sales instruction not so much.
I like that you are more accessible having text-to-speech. This is a HUGE plus! Video and audio, etc. Well done!

This ethics course encompassed many things to help producers, especially Leadership and quotes from leaders and solid selling techniques. Some courses I have taken were more to distinguish right from wrong. It was a great learning experience

A few of the test questions were vague and lacked clarity. More like "TRICK" questions.
I really appreciated the fact that the course was recorded and I could listen to it and watch it. It was much easier to retain the material being able to hear it versus having to read it to myself. I found the examples citing people and the insurance situation showing how the claim would play out.
if we are asked questions after each chapter, if those are passing they should count as the test grade.

The voice used for text reading is terrible.

While labeled as an Ethics course, I found much of the material focused on the marketing/sales component; e.g. body language.
This course took far too much time for the credit hours given.
I disliked the weak attempts at humor.
Even to have the presenters standing & engaging just a bit more could have made this more engaging for me. Good content.
This was (to my understanding) an ethics-qualified course. Course was 35% ethics, 65% marketing and sales in the form of how to convey trustworthiness to the prospect/client. I almost expected a snarky remark about trustworthiness being "just another sales strategy." In pure running time (i.e., not including my pauses) course was longer than the two hours of credit available. All told, I feel short-changed and wishing I had back those hours of my day.
I had to enter my producer number multiple times. I would move from one page to another and get kicked out and have to reenter, Otherwise this was a great use of CE time and money.
My main grievance dealt with the ambiguousness and lack of clarity in the questions asked on the tests. The question under the liability section that asks "Who is not covered by the HO 3 policy" -The question did not advise what coverage type they were talking about (personal contents, liability, etc...). I still do not understand the reasoning for the answer on that question.

I thought the course was one of the better and interesting Ethics courses I have taken. However I thought the test questions could have been better. Some questions had very obvious answers and others did not. Some of the questions could have had two different answers and were a little confusing and wordy.

It is confusing when in the final quiz it says you have NO unanswered questions in red (No is in red) maybe if it was in green it would not cause so much confusion

Although this was a good course with valuable information, I do feel it is less appropriate for P&C agents like myself to take. I think it would be better to have an ethics course like this where P&C examples and exam questions are used. Some of the life/health/securities and annuities examples/questions may confuse and trip up P&C agents.

I love the father son tag team. They are both great and very knowledgeable.
Disliked video component - two people just sitting. Disliked the overly casual, meandering, "fireside chat" dialog. The written component should be edited and have integrity of grammar and structure. The spoken portion should reflect an organized presentation, which does not assume on the client's time, but is carefully crafted to present clear ideas, reinforce them and achieve the client's goal. It would show gravity and respect if the presenters stood and moved more. Content should be updated.
I enjoyed the added information (stories) that both Doug Sr and Doug Jr interjected into the course material. They served as great examples.

The presentation was VERY producer/sales focused. They also came off as having very dated information. Anecdotal stories were misogynistic and not applicable to the current insurance marketplace. They seemed to present as if all students were door to door salesmen. No I&D discussion with the course. The entire training seemed to be addressing tactics on how to sell to individuals.

This course was more interesting than any other ethnics course that I have ever taken. I liked the approach and the emphasis on trust.
If was difficult to redeem the voucher. The time was over an hour plus 2 phone calls. Other than that, the course went well.

Even so, the material emphasis was still on ethics and added topical ideas about leadership, processes to encourage successful ethical practices and encouraged students to further pursue ideas on the course. This is the worst ethics course I have ever taken. It flirts with situational ethics and spends much more time on other things than ethics. You don't need Peter Drucker to be ethical or Maslow to know what is right and wrong.

I always thought I had test anxiety horribly in prior testing obtaining my license. I have managed to pass everything I've learned so far for my CE's with so much ease that I realize that it was testing environment & teachers & not so much anxiety. Please, for everyone out there like me, keep it up!

The video was outdated as were the examples. Many of the scenarios were geared towards an individual producer, many of whom don't exist any longer. Tactics represented such as when a client moves towards you, he/she is interested are outdated and seem cheap.

I found it much easier to pay attention to this course due to the conversational nature of the content presentation. I appreciate being able to turn the video part off as I am a quick reader and absorb more from reading than watching someone speak. The information provide in the course is very interesting to me and helpful/applicable in my actual daily work as a producer.
The written information was too long, even though it was all good info with good examples. Perhaps break it down to essential info with additional info available to explain essential info in greater details for those that may need it. The one thing I really didn't like was not knowing how I was wrong in my answers. Regulations must have changed. Another company I used prior to yours allowed reviewing of missed questions and then picking a different answer. Better for learning. Thank you.
I prefer to read it myself. It's much easier to go back over something, and I read faster than Doug.

I would have liked better understanding and comparison of the incorrect answers to the correct. I did think a couple of the questions were poorly written.
The questions did not exactly align with the content presented.
Several questions on the test where worded oddly and hard to follow.
When Reviewing missed questions, the correct answers should also be seen so the student can learn from the mistake. Not just the students answer.

The course said it was also in a video format but I couldn't find ANY link or buttons from the My Courses page after selecting this course that allowed me to watch the video. It only took me to a page with a PDF of the transcript and the exam. I am very displeased since I specifically picked this course because it said it came in a video format.

Most of this stuff is just common sense.
The instructors in the videos were easy to follow and presented the materials very effectively.
Too much material for CE and takes too much time. More than the three hours requirement.
Wish the course was broken into two parts instead of a 12 hour / 1 course.
Some practice questions were less about ethics and more about facts such as who created a theory. I'd prefer the practice questions to focus on content that can be used/applied not a fact that a producer won't use or recall.
Some of the material is hard to follow because it is mostly just reading format

I don't know if I was missing something in the presentation of the learning content, but I was VERY disappointed how weak the content was. This is a learning experience for the student to understand the subject in a way that improves their professional abilities and better serve the client's needs. I don't normally respond to surveys like this, so I hope it is taken as an opportunity to improve your product.

One of the questions on the exam I believe was incorrect; it asked what was required to submit for flood insurance. I selected a photo and the system stated that was wrong. I do not believe the other answers were correct.

The chapter format of this coursework was somewhat confusing, not as easy to follow as other chapters, it was a lecture told by first person, did not have any sub paragraph breakdowns

I liked the speakers and their candor. Also I liked that I could complete this course at my own pace and when necessary for me to be quiet I could read the text vs. listen to the speakers

This was an excellent course - I am going to recommend it to my boss as one that all of our team should do. Really quite good. I do all my CEs with Webce.
The course was excellent but the final exam questions were not very good or easy to understand.
Instructions on whether or not you provide the results straight to the DOI or I need to do that would've been great at the beginning, when I was purchasing, because that information is important to me when I'm purchasing coursed. I need to know how easy it's going to be about getting my credits counted.

I used the pdf. It would have been easier to read and understand if it wasn't a single spaced transcript. I would change the format to emphasize the important points with different sized type, italics, underlining, etc.

Remove the question regarding the school child question...all of the examples in today's class rooms are important violations. However, the clear danger is the knife. However, this particular question had not a thing about insurance ethics.
