2 1/2 hour time requirement was a problem with this course
It would be helpful for a speed option on the audio for those people who read/listen at a faster rate.
One of the chapter exam questions was poorly worded, as both construction companies were unnamed and the answers referred to "construction company" without distinguishing which was meant, the one with the higher incident rate or the lower incident rate.
There shouldn't be a time restriction anymore to stay in the course until taking the exam. I had to stay on 99% and wait to take the exam until I spent more than what 5hrs in the course? Ridiculous.
I realize you have to put a lot of fluff into these programs to make them last 8 hours, but some of the information will absolutely never arise in the course of your career
It would be nice to have an audio listen option of the reading material. Otherwise great course.

The ease of use was excellent. Ethics courses can be a bit tricky because the answers can sometimes be subjective or it can seem that there is more than 1 correct answer.
The content was great and useful in real scenarios at work.
Being an open book exam, when stuck it was very difficult to find the correct answer. This exam was very difficult to complete. Too many scenario questions that make you over analyze the question to get the answer wrong.
this time gating ruins a rep's efficiency to go through the content and complete the quiz so they can complete the other CE assignments. esp for long tenured reps who know the industry's standards already

This course did not properly record the minutes taking it , thus it took considerably longer for me to complete it despite my discussuins with your quality service people.
I have one strong suggestion. You should make the quizzes and final exam a read to me setting as people like me retain better then its read aloud! Strong suggestion. It would be an amazing added feature.
Great and easy to learn course work. Covers a lot of broad topics.
Printing is kind of small for questions in this survey & sometimes in the lesson, but large for my answer, which is easier to read.
I like that some of the tests had links back to the page in the study material. This makes it easy if I wanted to research any of the questions.
A lot of the questions could have different questions depending on the forms. This is coming from a 45 year veteran who has seen many forms. Also, why so many questions?

audio went immediately on to next topic/sentence/paragraph. No pausing in between topics and sentences seemed to run together making it somewhat difficult to follow
The auto symbol portion could be easier, maybe there was a chart, can't remember.
Chapter 7 was very difficult to read. Not sure if the examples could be summarized or more concise
There was a question on this exam, question 9, which listed the potential answers as: A. July 20x4 B. January 20x5 C. July 20x4 D. January 20x5. I found this confusing, since it implied that there were really only two potential choices, but no way to know which of the duplicates would count as "correct". Other than that, great course!
I like the little test at the end of each subject, I just wish there was a way to go back in and have the same access even after passing the test. Videos would have also been great.

This is my first time doing web CE and i will be using this going forward for future CE needs. Courses were concise but informative and I liked the go at your own pace and ability to stop and start due to a busy schedule

The required in course time is excessive. I allowed the audio to be read to me while also reviewing all charts and self-read items and taking the quizzes, and I still had 50 minutes remaining in the 2.5 hours left to sit in the course before being allowed to take the final exam.
Check answers on pretest for chapter 4 I think one of them is wrong

For the love of GOD: HIRE A VOICE ACTOR TO READ THE COURSE WORK! That monotone, robotic, DRONE made me want to put my head through a wall! It absolutely did not help me stay engaged with the material. Additionally, some of the metaphors/examples/quotes used to support and expand on the core concepts were really childish. I hate to say it, because I'm sure someone worked really hard on this, but it's true. This is supposed to be an course for working professionals, presumably experienced adults, but I felt like I was in 9th grade most of the time. Truthfully, the most juvenile ethics course I've ever taken. The bulk of the content was fine! But it needs some revisions.
I appreciated the inclusion of how much time is required to be spent per course and how much time is tracked at a current rate while reviewing the courses.

the only thing i disliked about the course is the time requirement. i went through the course in a very timely manner and could not take the test until i had waited 2.5 hours
I am concerned about the change in the required time for the course. Everyone reads and learns at a different pace, and it doesn’t necessarily take the full allotted time to complete. I understand the need to ensure everyone is attentive during the course, but I feel the fixed time requirement may not account for individual differences in learning speed.

Great course and good material, but forced requirement to sit in the course for an allotted amount of time is frustrating because I read fast and was able to comprehend the information over a one hour duration. The forced time requirement doesn't add value or reinforce the coursework material.

A lot of material to read, re-read on each exam. Would be nice to be done with the exam after each chapter in lieu of chapter exams and a final exam with the same questions.
Only suggestion is on the longer sessions, like the GL have a short practice test in the middle.

In a few instances, the question were a bit vague, redundant and/or confusing. The course seemed quite long for the 24 hours CE required; however, I appreciate that it was self-paced and allowed for interruptions.

I disliked having to stay in the program for soo long. Many of the material is things we use everyday. So unnecessary to stay on the screen for no reason when the scores are good.
The time you require to spend in the course material is too long. It is completely achievable in less time. I have found myself having to wait in every course taken so far. As there is an option to speed up the narration and effectively take in the material the time should be shortened significantly.
What I liked most was the tracking of my responses were recorded, and helped me to continue where I left off. This helped me to move forward. Overall content was relevant and informative. However, content too comprehensive. What I liked least, number of exam questions should be more aligned with number of quiz questions. We're just trying to obtain continuing education credits, not obtain an insurance license, we already have one.

at the end of some of the chapters before the practice exam there were short video clips with questions. I thought it was great tool for me to learn the material.
It would be nice if the volume could be set once and not have to reset it every time a new chapter is selected.

I only needed 3 hours of ethics to renew my license this spring, but I had to buy a bundle that included another 3 hour class that I don't want or need. I wish you could just have the 3 hours of ethics as a stand alone course to purchase.

The Amount of Time Needed before the exam doesn't make sense no matter how long or short that time is. As long as someone reads the chapters since it doesn't allow you to skip ahead anyway should be fine. This really should have only took an hour at the most. But it was Very Helpful Thank You WebCE
I want to be able to print or download a PDF copy of the material for future reference.
I liked that I could go over any chapter or module and review if I did not understand something before I took the exam. That helped me a lot.
Although interesting some of the examples/material didn't directly apply to me as a captive agent. It seemed more relevant to a large company.
The content is presented very clearly. Other education platforms make thing unnecessarily complicated. Almost like they are trying to trick you on purpose. I appreciate that your content is so clear. Thank you!
I thought the exam was much harder than the chapter ending questions.
It would have been helpful to have some of the sections broken down into parts. Audio longer than an hour wasn't effective and would restart to the beginning of the section if not completed in one sitting.
Too technical
This course included way too much obscure content. I have been an adjuster for 35+ years. 99.99999999 % of claims adjusters WILL NOT EVER handle a claim under most of the coverages and claims exposures covered in this course.
I love WebCE for the ease of content, navigation and explanation of text. I have been using it for years and will continue to do so.
I thought the content in the pdf was well thought out an easy to understand--I also really enjoyed the example on page 5 that reference the movie "50 First Dates" because I've seen in so many times, and I understood what was meant by it! Great analogy or metaphor--I was never good with those in high school!
Having the volume setting for read-it-to-me audio save from one page to the next would be helpful.
Sometimes the automated voice does not differentiate between acronyms and words i.e. the word "who" instead was "W-H-O".

this is a 3 hour course but it took more than 4 hours to complete including the exams.

I would add the option to highlight the text as it is being read. I find it very effective to have it read to me while reading along, but once in a while I would lose my spot. Highlighting/marking the spot as it is being read would be the icing on the cake!

The material in this course was hard to follow, especially in the first half of the course. The writing needs to be simplified, as I felt there were too many unnecessary words/excessive sentences and it made it hard to follow along.

Errors in the grammer, the examples were horrible (hitting a dog, person dying) and since some states have different laws, of all the content, questions should not be asked where some states may not apply (Workers comp is not mandatory in every state) There was a question on having coverage via workers comp but the answer is incorrect in a state where work comp is not required. WAY too many words are used "mary, who was quite contrary?" really? A proof reader needs to go through the content.

WebCE has been my means of CE credits for many years, because of the content and ease of use.
Too much information to mentally digest, very time consuming, and too many questions for presented materials.
I loved how I could stop and start when it was convient for me to work on classes.
This course was relevant,. It tested for general, useful, important insurance knowledge - instead of obscure "facts". Way to go!!
I thought the course met the stated objectives without being to long or complicated.
Questions were written poorly and allowed room for subjective answers. If testing, needs to be more black and white. Many answers were written in the book upon review so that is how I knew it wasn't correct on the test but, the answer could be technically correct in certain circumstances. I do not believe those are fair questions and answers to present.
Really liked the interactive sections
The AI reading the content is so monotone, it makes it hard to concentrate. An AI with more inflections in their voice makes it easier to absorb. More conversational sounding.

The only issue of concern is that the time required to complete before taking the test. Some people read faster than others and should be able to proceed. That was the only concern in having to WAIT until the minimum time was met to do the test

The study material was much better than the Ethics course material but could still be better.
I don't think the last section with the SITE, IIABA or SRMC is needed as there were no test questions regarding them. I guess they were just for illustrations purposes.

The only "Negative" I can mention relating to this particular course is that there was an excessive amount of unnecessary verbiage in the majority of the course content which resulted in it taking MUCH longer to read all of the provided materials than is needed for the relatively "simple" topics covered ! A significant portion of the provided wording could easily be omitted from the course with no adverse affects on the comprehension of the course material or the Final Exam proficiency, in my opinion.
The content covered in this course was too vast. Some of the test questions were confusing or vague and even with the Search option it was difficult to determine the correct answer.
Videos or interactive activities would have made this more engaging, as well as the ability to highlight or have the read-it-to-me audio highlight as you go along.

I think there should be an option to skip the practice tests or take half the practice tests so long as a certain amount in those taken are passed (maybe 90% pass rate on the practice tests required). I suppose I could just let myself fail a couple practice test answers, but I tend to feel like I am spending longer on the practice tests than on the same amount of questions in the exam. Then if it was optional which parts the practice tests were taken on, I would just use them to practice the information I was less certain I had fully understood / knew, but not spend the time reading long questions on information I definitely know before I take the final exam for the information. But honestly, I love the way it is provided already, I have used this site for years and will likely continue to do so, even without any improvements!

Using WebCE made the course interesting
I did not care for the automated reading voice, it was very flat and monotone making difficult to comprehend without expression in the inflection, tone of voice, etc.
It would be more helpful if the timing out for the chapters weren't so short, or lasted for the time of the full audio. Some audio lectures are 20, 30, 40, 50 min and it would be nice to hear the audio while multitasking with a baby for example.
IT SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO STAY IN THE COURSE FOR THE FULL SEVERAL HOURS IF IT DOESN'T TAKE THAT LONG TO READ THE MATERIAL AND COMPLETE THE TEST!!!

I was a little confused about the proctors and how to utilize. Once I realized there was NO list of proctors and to use someone who is not 'close' to me it was then easy to complete.
AI audio has such bad pronunciation at times. "Side A" coverage and "address" were two of the examples that were jarring on repeated occasions.
Correct answers on the chapter test would help. Or referring back to the chapter the wrong answer came from would also help
Course very well presented. Been in the property claim business (mainly large commercial/industrial/manufacturing claims) for over 45 years, know the information well. Only "complaint" is that now your system requires a minimum of time to be in the course before taking the final test, forces one to pretty much go through the whole course. But I guess that is the whole mindset of continuing "education". Was a very good course!!

The time constraint was a little annoying - I had to redo sections of the course in order to meet the time requirement before I could take the test.
I have used Webce for a very long time. However, the last time I did ce it is not recognized with the other years. Unsure why but I will definitely continue using webce.

This was the most confusing course I have taken yet. There is no need to be so tricky with the questions and answers. It makes it very frustrating to learn anything when you are reading everything multiple times and still cannot find the answers. Some questions didn't even make any sense. I almost gave up on my license because of it. Not good.
The time requirement is rough, i test out of the course and sit there for 2 hours waiting. It would be cool if there was some form of content at the end before the test that was optional but could kill time.
I do feel that some of the answers i got "wrong" may not actually be wrong.

I liked the ease of the whole program.
The one thing I really dislike was using Wikipedia as a reference: "As stated in Wikipedia, in psychology, self-esteem reflects a person’s overall self-appraisal of his or her own worth.". This is a cardinal sin in sourcing reference material, especially when referring to a science such as Psychology where there are millions upon millions of credible, and scientific source material. The word 'Pyschology' was also misspelled as it wasn't capitalized.
I like that you can take your time to take the course and you are not rushed or pressured in anyway. Iam a Commercial Agent and find the information provided is very helpful.

the discussion of how to show respect fails to take into account neurodiversity. It mentions that the easiest way to show respect is to maintain eye contact. This can be difficult to someone who is neuro-atypical. Statements like these generalities should be more inclusive.
I liked the course, though I would advise having a Continuing Education course reference Wikipedia in the lessons. Since Wikipedia is known to not be a primary source and full in incorrect info as anyone online can update it.

This test was very stressful, its like I'm taking my test for the first time instead of continuing Ed. Why do we have to be monitored?? This is so irritating to those with health issues or those who work from home and are new to the state.

the auto generated course study is awful. A live narrator would be much better and the study would flow. It's difficult to listen to the auto gen voice especially when prompts like III are referred to as "eye eye eye" instead of "section 3" or the like
I'm guessing that Chapter 6 quiz - question 2 was a "trick" question because Values Descriptor: Open minded = Quality Descriptor: Friendly. All other choices were Values Descriptors which made: Respect for others the only option. This hung me up on the question for way longer than it should have. I didn't like the trickery.
I was pleased with everything. This was my second time using your program and I learned a lot.

I really appreciate the availability of WEBCE for me to renew my Certificates and Licenses! The only thing I would try to improve is the speed and emphasis of the voice in the read-a-long audio. I like that attribute very much but sometimes the voice "puts the accent on the wrong syllable."
The content needs to be more interactive - maybe more videos or real life examples would be helpful
A 9 credit course and only 3 videos and zero other variety!?!?! If I'd have known I was signing up for so much reading with very little learning diversity I likely would not have chosen this course. Please update this course! It could be such a great way to teach newbies of insurance (like myself), but instead it was dryer than dry.

this course was pretty difficult. i don't think the information was arranged in the best way. finding specific information was difficult because it was densely packed. i would prefer more graphs and lists as apposed to having information imbedding in paragraphs
You must not punish professionals for reviewing the reading materials faster than the time allotted. it is a waste of time and resources to be forced to revisit material already reviewed simply to meet the time criteria.
I really wish there was another speed of the audio that's between the 1.00 and .75. The 1.00 is actually pretty fast and the .75 is tooo slow.

Many of the lessons were after the testing occurred. It make sense if the information was provided to read first then the test given.
It was well thought out, well paced and easy to understand. Also, the exam questions were all germane and did not require any memorization of the specific text of the presentation. It was very ethical!

As someone with dyslexia i really appreciated that i could have the concepts read out loud and that there were videos included. Might be better if it was not a computer voice and was an actual person speaking to me. It just would have made it that much better.

This particular course could have been (and I'd argue should have been) divided into 3 courses: Commercial Auto, Auto Dealers/Garagekeepers, Truckers.
Even though I got a great grade on the exam, this was extremely difficult to go through and the test questions were tricky.
The course was clear and concise. I would definitely recommend to professional acquaintances.

More interactives and quizzes would be very helpful. They would break up the long reading sections and give more real world examples of how coverages apply. Competitors that I have used have way more practice quizzes and interactive content.

Much of the content and test questions were about commercial auto symbols, motor carrier regulations, acts, and symbols, and auto dealer symbols; information that does not need to be memorized in our profession. When working with commercial auto, motor carrier etc., the information is easily accessible to us and general knowledge is sufficient, not memorizing every single symbol. I would not take this course again. It was too specific which made it frustrating.

Concise and informative.
The 'read to me" feature is terrible. The reading was expressionless and robotic. I finally turned it off and just read it out loud or sped it up to 2x to get through.
I took the course in about 2 hours and then had to wait an hour to take the test. Maybe slow the course timing down or make it last longer with more content. We all get it that the course never matches the state timed requirement, so maybe there is a work around or addition needed.
The audio was too "droning." I would have used it more if it were more "conversational."
I like using WebCE for my continuing education needs. It is thorough and easy to use.
I use all of my personal CE pursuit through WebCE because it has quality material that is easy to use. I feel like I actually learn with this system as well.

Course material somewhat dated as most insurance companies offer broad policies
too much in one course... I don't see how someone one does this in one sitting and then retain it.

At times some of the wording was confusing. I did like the ease of being able to do it at my convenience.
I found this to be a bit overwhelming with information and confusing questions. The questions were also written in ways that were confusing or a lot of useless details. I had the same answer offered as option B and C in one of the questions I had...it was the correct anwer and it was listed twice. These dragged out story problems also have names in the answers that are not applicable to the question at hand, however, applicable in another question similar later in the test. Was disappointed in the test.
I took this for my Maryland CE. I felt that although the content was excellent, it was very comprehensive for a CE class. The test was grueling although I did get a passing 91%(i'm pretty competetive and was pushing for 100%) It took me 2.5 hours to respond to 45 questions. This is a very good course for learning, just a lot for CE.
I did not understand the owned property care, custody or control exclusion. More interactive sections would be good.
This was a very, very long test and questions were extremely difficult in locating correct answers in the material.

There were a few practice test questions with several correct answers. One was pretty much verbatum from the course and marked incorrect. What?!?! I asked my husband who has been in commercial insurance for decades about it. He said it made no sense.
The course would be better served to work in some videos. Reading the entire course becomes cumbersome.

Some of the questions were unclear. McDonald's backhoe - could have been business auto or personal auto - didn't mention if McDonald was a business or an individual. Assumptions were made. I got stuck on a couple like that. Otherwise, I'm just glad it's over. Thank you!

auto-play would be nice. at least in between each section or quiz. I understand having to be actively involved, but there were so many short audio files it got annoying to have to hit play for every single one.
This course was more applicable then I expected, it was better targeted toward my career field then others I have taken. I felt there was relevant information to not only general ethics but information specifically about the ethics of insurance work.
It would be beneficial to have the correct answers to the final exam once finished.

Learned more about Commercial Insurance
The course was completed with audio almost an hour before the required time to be in the course had elapsed. It would seem that finishing the material and quizzes with high marks would be of more value and show more competence and retention of the material than simply waiting on a clock.
I woud suggest you consider not using Covered Auto Symbols without definitions. Knowing the content of the auto policies is most important and too many symbols tare difficult to remember, and they appear in all applications.

This subject is a difficult one. My suggestion is to create a class about Business Auto Coverage, not including Motor Carrier and Auto Dealers policies. The reason is the aforementioned type of policies are not widely sold by insurance brokers.
You could include more examples to illistrate the coverage to make the coverage more understandable.

I do not see that the New Jersey DOBI requires a proctor for exams. Also, in this day of remote work, it's hard to find someone to proctor an exam, let alone someone whos in not related. Other than the exam requirements, I thought the course was very good. The quizzes were actually harder than the final exam.
My only criticisms are that many questions were worded in a convoluted manner, and some had multiple answers that could be correct depending on the situation.
Loved that the speed for read to me audio can be increased! Didn’t like that I had to reapply it every new section. I wanted to review the chapter exams to prep for the main test but couldn’t open them again, allowing that would be nice.

I actually listened to the audio and read the info but I thought the test was a challenge because the test questions and the material did not match up (at least in my mind) even though I got a 96%.

I love WebCE but I have to admit, I did not feel like the course prepared me for the exam. I read and studied prior to the exam and still felt like I had no clue on some of the questions. Fortunately, I studied enough to pass but, comparing this course to others, I felt the exam vs course content were not matched as well.
Would maybe be easier if the different paragraphs were separated by borders.
Site needs to recognize duplicate test prior to ordering! I had to take a 10-hour course and a 4-hour course twice due to this!
It is very frustrating that upon completion of a test it does not show what the right answers are. This is a huge flaw and detriment to learning. I'm honestly really surprised at this lack of functionality.

The information and detail is very informative, the sample questions are a good pre-test, and the fact that you can pause and come back to do more later is the best feature for sure.

This course is several hours long and completed over a few days time. It would be easier if each section had a test, not just practice questions, instead of a big test at the end. It's hard to remember everything that was presented. However, the test was fairly easy

I did not like the format of this course at all. I think this CE could have been achieved in a much better, more beneficial way. Having this computer deliver this material with no interaction was very ineffective.
I don't like the way the course is set up so that I have to click through every page to get to the practice tests before taking the main test. I prefer to read the PDF so it's a bunch of extra clicking and forces me to keep the website up instead of being able to just focus on reading the course.

Why are there so many questions about non fault coverages for an ohio license? Ohio is NOT a no fault state so it's literally useless.
This 12 c.e. course was tough for me. It's too much information. I am better off taking 3 c.e. courses at a time. I was overwhelmed with too much information during this course. It was very difficult.
The test included questions where items were mislabeled. One question around the Diehard Mortuary referred to the operation as both a funeral home and a hospital. This seems like a sloppy rewrite of a prior question. This happened in multiple questions that were confusing to the end user.
The audio being automated is more of a distraction from me than if a real person were reading it as an instructor might in a lecture

It took me a long time to go through the entire course. I think I spent at least 10 hours on it and only received 7 credit hours.

One of the questions had the same answer for B and D. I took a screenshot. I do not think this is fair to test takers, as when the test is graded, does not take into consideration this error, which is not the fault of the test taker.

After using a computer for the completion of the first couple of chapters. I then Used a mobile device to complete the rest of the course including the final exam. In using my iPhone mobile device, When I logged into Webce.com to continue the course, I found it very difficult to find my course! Frustrating experience to say the least! Consequently, Logging into the course was not an easy experience. Otherwise, I enjoyed the course. Thank you Webce!

There were a few questions that need to be reviewed - as the context created some confusion... you may wish to review collision questions....

This course was made even more difficult because the same names were used in consecutive questions with different scenarios or the same names were used in the same scenarios with different outcomes. I found this course to be extremely hard even being able to go back and research the questions in the course text. I would not recommend this course and am very disappointed.

The material made some generalizations about various lines of coverage and passed those generalizations as fact, such as that "all BAPs are typically written with Symbol 1 for the Liability coverage" which simply isn't true. A more accurate--and useful--instruction would be to modify this slightly to say that with Symbol 1 providing the broadest form of liability coverage, agents should endeavor to use Symbol 1 for liability coverage whenever possible. There were also several mentions of gaps in coverage with no further explanation and no further reading (which is a function not currently used in WebCE courses but I'd highly recommend it to further the quality of instruction).
