Certain material was incorrect as it pertains to auto insurance laws in my state (Florida). I had to disregard some of the material. I could do that since I've been doing this for 15 years, but for a new agent it would be confusing and problematic, and may not give correct information to a client.

If possible, change the voiceover to have proper "inflection". There is a real disconnect when listening to the voiceover, and the emphasis on some words is off-putting and has an alternate meaning in the sentence.

19 Case Studies is an awful lot for what is supposed to be a CE course. This course seems more geared for someone learning about Ethics for the first time.
Loved learning through the case studies. Understanding the situations that have arisen and will arise makes me think more deeply about the topic and realize that insurance expertise is only one part of the Agent or Underwriter. Knowing how to use knowledge appropriately, with proper grace and understanding, is what makes the industry as a whole shine.

The short exams after each chapter makes it much easier to comprehend the material.
This course had way too many chapters and entirely too many chapter quizzes! I think some of the chapters could have been combined to make it less segmented. Out of all of the classes I've taken this time around, this one was by far the one I least enjoyed.

I disliked how it gave examples of ethics from other career fields. I feel this ethics should wholly apply to insurance only since this what I am taking the class for. Including information/text on other ethic cases is information not required for an insurance agent and makes remembering the actual information we need difficult and adds more work that's not needed

The required course time is VERY silly
the writing style was strange, topics covered weren't always connected to the stated course title, but more to general ethics in business, and the writers seemed to see the insurance industry pretty negatively. it was weird. The line about gangsters and serial killers having a code of ethics, and so do insurance professionals? So strange.

Practice quiz one had an incorrect question that stated a hit a run would be covered under UM. It would not. Only if the hit and run was found and determined not to have insurance. If it's just a hit & run, there is no UM.

the exam questions are wordy and not clear and somewhat confusing. Some content I simply guessed because the nature of the question was simply unclear. those could use some work.
Some of the information in the study is wrong. It may not be Texas material but I am not sure. I was having to pick and chose to what is accurate. In addition, the difference between the state and carrier guidelines may be confusing things. It is hard to say what is what and why. I do not agree that broadening the course material outside of the scope of what a personal lines agent needs to know is better than prioritizing their main objectives. Many fundamentals are never discussed within or outside of training. Also, there is not a need to add wordy questions or lengthy training material. I do not think it is WebCE's responsibility to exercise my cognitive abilities over my effectiveness of learning and recalling factual material. These statements do not specifically pertain to this particular course.

For a 3-credit course, it took me (and I am not a slow reader) more than 3 hours to go through the course. I need another 15 credits to obtain prior to October. I don't know if I can afford to spend another 17-20 hrs on WebCE courses.

Using WebCE because it's what I get reimbursed for: i hate that the modules aren't read by real people. the robot is distracting to listen to, talks incredibly slowly, and presents the topics as if this is an intro course (instead of part of a Continuing Ed bundle). There's no challenge as the content is incredibly simplified.

Chapter 19's Exam had a wrong answer in the quiz as the correct answer. In Chapter 14, a sentance didn't have a period and it was unclear if the information was finished in that section.

Your product should be presented in a more friendly and accessible language, making it easier to understand and more applicable to the state of Texas. Right now, it feels extremely long for a two-hour credit class, making the process frustrating rather than efficient. The questions are overly tricky instead of being informative and educational, which defeats the purpose of a renewal course. Because of this, I will never use your system again. You need to be more empathetic toward agents renewing their licenses, ensuring the experience is smooth, helpful, and respectful of their time.

There seemed to be a bit too much info in the rental car presentation - perhaps break up some of that info to keep the interest.
The 2 hour CE should be adjusted. Took way longer than 2 hours to complete.
There were multiple questions on the exams that were either factually incorrect, had multiple possibly correct answers (not enough information to determine), or would be state dependent based on that state's laws.
The wording on many of the question contained error, and miswording. In some case proper grammar was missing. I found many of the question that involved scenarios not clear, and with the grammar errors. Please have someone vet the question to make them understandable.

Info for this ethics were presented more clearly, especially presented as case studies instead of random data. Illustrating how it applies in real world situation makes it more manageable. I also like that the info was presented in smaller chunks per section rather than in large endless paragraphs where key words are not highlighted and lists are written as sentences. It's much easier to mentally store lists and highlighted words than jumbled masses of words.

Using the read it to me option I could complete the course in 3 hours, additional content could be helpful to get that closer to 4 hours.
The read it to me needs much improvement. When reading dollar amounts it single numbers them- which is distracting = also reading the subject and the chapter as with the same wording is not necessary and slightly annoying. Lastly the ability to read the words as they are written and should be pronounced should be looked at.

Some exam questions do not provide enough detail to properly answer the question, and leave the exam taker to make assumptions about the question.
The Read-it-to-me audio is a disgrace to your company. You really should review the audio on this module. The mispronunciations make it hard to comprehend. If my employer didn't have an account, I would never choose this site again for CE.

Please check the questions and answers. You have multiple answers that are incorrect across the coursework. It's hard to learn when i am being told I am wrong but the answers are in the coursework in an OPEN BOOK TEST.
There was an exam that I "Failed" however - the answer key had the exact same answer - word for word for both C and D - I chose C and D was the answer - even though they were the SAME ANSWER - May want to look over the test answers!
This course was detailed and had much more clarity. The chapter were short and contain the right amount of information. I was able to retain the information.
This was really informative, and educational. Also it wasn't quite as lengthy as the other exams. Better format overall in my opinion.

I hate the robotic voice that reads the information to you and it seemed 1.0 was too slow and 1.25 was too fast. I needed a 1.1 option and a more human-sounding voice.

The repeated requests for password verification states its only done every 60 mins, However, it does appear much more frequently and disrupts the flow of the lesson as well as during quiz/tests. If this can be modified to relect every 60 mins, it wll much enhance the flow of the course material.

The course is good but the real aloud voice sounds like a robot with no tone in the voice nor accentuation when it comes to how it really is suppose to read the paragraphs. I would have it read to me but I would get tired of the way the voice sounded so I just read the words myself especially if the chapter had too much info just because I needed to understand it using my own voice.
Some of the questions in chapter 18 had a funky use of 2 1/2. I'm not sure if you did this on purpose but it looks strange.
your scenarios were too back & forth. Just ask a question without trying to trip people up with all the rambling. After you get the scenario down and you know what's going on your throw the except out. So you read it again. too time consuming!

For an ethics course the material is not very ethical. There is plenty of opinions and subliminal indoctrination type leading questions throughout the material.
Course is easy to understand
Remove all gendered pronouns throughout the course. These are not needed to provide examples of the course material. Why does the course mention an actual existing non-profit organization by name (The Lighthouse for the Blind, INC) This could show WebCE as not being impartial to non-profits in total. Lastly there is a test question that gives incorrect BI/PH limits for AZ. Since July of 2020 the minimum limits required in AZ are 25/50/15. All information needs to be factual and accurate to the time of use of materials
The computer voice in the beginning was rapid fire.
The quality of the content was very thorough and difficult but not overly so. Quality CE.

I appreciate being able to go through the course in my own timeframe.
Some of the questions were a bit repetitive and back to back on the exams. There are also some instances where the grammar of the questions are incorrect and cause confusion. Also, might want to update the AI voice, it mispronounced several words causing some confusion when following along. Things such as sayings 'lives' wrong or 'three zero zero, comma, zero zero zero' instead of three hundred thousand.

This worse was very boring.
Chapter 9- The pro rata calculation example is incorrect. It states 33% of $10,000 is $3,333, it should be $3,300. And 67% of $10,000 is $6,667, it should be $6,700.
The voice was clearly AI and very hard to follow. Other materials with WebCE are much more engaging and interactive. These arent. If this course could be given some of that same attention, then it would have been much more effective and enjoyable.
Easy to use as usual.
I did not like the general overtone on occasion that pushed DEI and ESG which in turn put important factors out of kilter in relevance of importance in providing a grade of quality. Finance and Governance should have greater weight. Environment, Climate and ESG should carry lower weight. These political preferences should not be pushed. Also equating Islam to other religious beliefs are just wrong.
I'm in a rush but I'll quickly say great product. Top notch UI and UX. You guys were a life saver for CE I had to complete in order to be in good standing for my first position as a Financial Consultant. I used to have a P&C license and had no idea the TX DOI had me in their system as having not complied with required CE. Anyhow I went from being panicked to the easy experience with your product. Your answers are quite esoteric and even after scanning the entire section, I was unable to find the answer you were looking for based on the options given. Don't make this test about trying to trick people.
I did not like the computer generated reader. The pronunciation and phrasing can be all wrong.

You have questions that are grammatically incorrect. One question reads "Which of the following would ineligible for coverage as a private passenger auto under for an unendorsed PAP?" Someone needs to proofread this material.
The question about Carter and Royce is unnecessarily confusing. Instead of saying Carter thinks Royce should pay b/c blank and Royce thinks Cart should pay b/c blank...it should just read Carter and Royce were arguing about who's insurance should pay. I couldn't understand the question because there was so much story attached.

I am so happy to have had this. Although, I have been in the insurance industry for about 22-23 years. This course has great questions about coverages that are very important.
As a licensed Property and Casualty agent, who has been using WebCE for at least 10 years, I always appreciate the knowledge I gain. I will keep using WeBCE until I no longer have to take any CE credits.
Some of the questions for the test were worded very weird or used names of companies that made questions unnecessarily difficult such as State's which made it unclear if the question was referring to the state or if State was the name of the agency. Some other questions were worded awkwardly.
It would be nice if read out loud had the option to continue up until the chapter text, instead of having to press continue.
This was very informative on how it can relate to my own company coverages.

The audio guy did not pronounce things correctly so it kind of throws a person off. It is already confusing enough using and understanding the acronyms.

The speech audio has several mis-pronunciations which cause confusion. some of those are caused by typos--a space left out of the text. Also, the audio pronounces the same word in different ways for via & for Roman numerals causing confustion.

All of the information within the Ethics in Business section was a bit much. This seemed to be the bulk of the time and the least of the questions.

QUESTIONS SHOUID BE PRECISE AND TO THE POINT.
Test questions are so wordy! Not every question needs to be a full on paragraph.
The audio has some pronunciation issues and does not pause for commas, which was hard to listen to, so I just read at my own speed. I also noticed some typos that were not caught when this was proofread.
Would like the words to move as it's read. Video for math.

Test questions are too long and complicated. They seem to be designed for the student to fail. But maybe not because I received a score of 100% on my first attempt.
The test questions were too lengthy and designed to confuse the test taker. This does not seem fair to me.

North Carolina auto policies are very different than most states. Some of this information was incorrect. Probably not a good class for NC agents.

The material is very detailed and intense. The time needed to reread certain items to fully understand them requires a lot more than 4 hours total time. This should be a 6 hour class.

There are typos and many times when more than one answer is correct or can be correct, so i think there's room for improvement.

The Questions are extremely wordy and make the whole thing lose all meaning. There is a way to determine if people retain knowledge without trying to make the wordiest questions to try and fumble them. Just get to the point and remove the unnecessary trip ups.

Consider providing clarification to whether General Damages are compensated under UM/UIM when an insured driver has a workers' compensation claim. WC claim pays for special damages (wage loss, impairment, medical), not general damages. Compensating general damages would not be technically considered a duplicate payment. Clarifying this distinction would be helpful.
entertaining for an ethics course to refer to "more than 1 way to skin a cat" multiple times. Someone, somewhere, gets paid to write material that could easily be restated to "more than 1 way to get the job done/ do the right thing" - I guess John the trapper has good ethics insurance advice.

I wish you could read the questions to us as well so we can better understand sometimes sometimes when you’re reading it by yourself, it can be confusing in your head but with the way the prop reads it, I think it would help

There were maybe two questions I got wrong b/c I misread the question, however every other question that I got wrong was due to it being VERY ambiguous or poorly written.

This was supposed to be a 5 hour course and it took me way longer than that to complete. I did find one error in there but I can't remember where it was now. Anyways I haven't done auto insurance before so maybe that is why it took me so long, went on for hours and hours.
Great course, and easy to use.
It is not updated with the correct information and it has things in the course content that we do not use in the insurance field. Just like the practice tests for the final exam did.
The audio is much appreciated, but the words were not always pronounced correctly and it was so monotone that it put me to sleep and I had to just read it a lot of times.
I especially like the chapter exams rather than an overall content exam. Thank you so very much.
The courses have multiple repeat questions that are very similar.

The read -it-to me audio was very mundane and difficult to listen to. The content was very informational, except for all of the examples of the well-known Unethical Behaviors. Very drawn out. I enjoyed the Exhibits on the Code of Ethics section, again, very informative.

The answers to some of these questions were not located in the course material (module) being tested. So if the entire course was 10 modules. Module #1 test would ask a question that is supposed to be in the course material for mod #1 but instead was actually in module #2.

I really liked the "questions an agent should ask" review this course gave, but when I take a "Pennsylvania" Property & Casualty continuing education course, why give me material that is not Pennsylvania specific and give me material that says may or may not apply in your state?
I greatly appreciated the examples given in each of the chapters covered by the course, as they help illustrate the concepts being covered. Also, I find the feature of having an exam right after each chapter very helpful.
A few times the exam questions were actually for material discussed in the next chapter.

Beat Ethics course I've taken. Especially appreciated the discussion of real world corporate ethics...or the lack thereof.
Unfortunately for me many of the chapters that were discussed did not relate in any way to what I do on a daily basis as a file reviewer. Also, I cannot fathom how this could in any way be equivalent to an classroom experience. I am a file reviewer for Property Insurance claims. I have never looked an an automobile policy in my life except my own policy. This course in no way helped me to be able to better improve my job reviewing property claims. I look at all kinds of losses each and every day: fire, water, wind, hail, wind driven rain, trees falling on roofs, pipe freezing, etc. I would hope that in future classes you would consider what should be taught in order to help the professionals in this line of work to be able to excel at his/her jobs. I previously was a teacher before becoming a file reviewer for 28 years. My Master's Degree was in Curriculum and Instruction let me know if you need any help. Thank you, Tracey Pogue

There is too much extra verbiage and the fact when you take the test you cant see which answers you got incorrect, and what the correct answers are is extremely frustrating & unhelpful in successfully completing the course.

can you please make the button on the popup window to re-verify your identity every 60 minutes better.....the GREEN button is EXIT and the 'submit' button is GRAY............guess which button gets clicked when you're in the middle of a course........then it boots you out.

The only issue I had was that one of the questions regarding application of PIP/MPC and UM/UIM to the same loss was in a test before that information was reviewed later in the chapter.

The material was presented in a concise manner and I found it educational.
A few the questions asked about information that wasn't included in the course content -- for example, in section 12, there was a question about the two types of cars considered as non-owned cars -- there was no mention of trailers in the course content.
One of the quizzes in this course has questions pertaining to automatic termination of a policy but that isn't covered during the course so the questions are very misleading.
Since this was such a long module, it was nice to take the "mini" exams rather than one final exam encompassing all of the material

thought the course was too long vs. the material covered but you mite need 4 hrs. of ethics for some states? (here in MN we need just 3 hrs.) And, part of me says you can't teach ethics. After years in the insurance industry, one gets to see all forms, clients and agents as well as insurers, seeming to act in their own interest when "the moment of truth" comes. Course is right in that reputation of insurers, and agents, tends to be poor as a result when the buying public, personal and commercial, looks at the insurance industry in general. Yet, nothing can happen in commerce, buying a house, car, or running a business, without an insurer backing the financial commitments. One chapter quiz marked an obviously wrong answer as the correct one. One test was graded at 80% when the following page listed all answers as correct.
I appreciate the updated information that includes the history of the rules and how they came about. Giving perspective help me remember facts.

Great Self Study as well as CE Program
The robotic audio is excruciating, I found it incredibly difficult to stay awake. The length of the quiz and test questions felt unnecessarily lengthy and confusing. Just get to the point.

There were several errors in the text that I noticed. While I wish I had written them down to be able to specifically mention, there were some sentences with missing words and in one of the latter chapters, there was a sentence at the end of a paragraph that did not even have an ending to it. - Other than these, I enjoyed the training, thank you

One of the questions may have McCarran-Ferguson Act confused with Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act regarding aftermarket parts.
There is a mistake on a claim amount of payment. The questions asked how much one of the claimants will get for BI, after receiving 10k for PD, claim for BI was filed late, another claimant was paid 190k for BI and PD, that exhausted the policy according to the answer listed, which is wrong, the 200k limit was for BI, but your answer included the payments on PD, which is a different amount of coverage and it never mentioned it was a combined limit coverage.
This is one of the most stressful course I have taken for CE, but it is Very Informative. I did learn a lot from the Ethics Course.

I was told I missed one and I know that is the answer I gave. Not that it matters it's just that sometimes these tests don't record the answer. It would really be a bad thing if you scored below a 70 because of it.

I noticed some wording that may include a wrong word. I didn't make a note of which section it was in. I quote: "The court ruled that the insurer 'has not shown intended to crash the vehicle.'" Just thought you might want to correct it because the wording is so clear in all the courses.
This lesson had very short lessons and then a 5 question test - the lessons could have been compiled more with less tests and still effective, just to many tests.
I'd would have like to been offered a different class where a final exam wasn't required. I called in yesterday and was offered a different option.
I wish there was Read-it-to-me audio on tests.

Everything was good there is just a question that is in there twice on the ethical portion. "A graduate insurance student attempted to determine the factors...." It's question 1 and 2 in the training. Both have same order for answer "Metaethics" Just a FYI- Take care

The only thing I would recommend changing is requiring the test boxes to be read individually. I, personally, learn best from listening to content. Pretty much the entire course used the read-to-me function, but because I have issues reading extensive paragraphs and syphering information from said paragraphs, I found myself skipping important content or not grasping the full content as needed.
Too much detail on subprime mortgages, derivatives, bonds etc. Appropriate for a class on financial management but too in-depth for an insurance ethics class

Section 2 seemed too long and drawn out. I feel like a lot of the content could have been condensed and still get the same point across. Especially only one question in the final exam actually asked anything about those scenarios.

The read-it-to-me function needs some adjustment. Some words are mispronounced and sometimes there is not a pause between the last word in a previous paragraph and the first work of the next paragraph.
The only thing I disliked about the read it to me function was some of the words were mispronounced - live(s), interpolicy, hit-and-run, and a few others I cannot recall.
I think it would be nice to have more visuals associated with the content of the course.
The questions are very lengthy try to condense.
I thought the test answers for section 9.2 were contrary to the lesson material. The lesson had examples about pro-rata coverage between two policies and the test questions on the same situation said the earlier policy was considered terminated when the second policy became effective.
I find it a bit confusing navigating the IRMI website to find where my courses are stored that I have paid for. It would be very nice if a link were clearly labeled at the top of the opening page that would take me right to them. I don't mind the multiple passwords but searching is the problem due to the fact that I am not on the site regularly.

This is the first course I've taken from WebCE with the audio read-it-to-me feature. I found it a little distracting to both hear the audio and read the screen text at the same time, but there are likely others who prefer the audio. I will try it out again on another course to see if I get additional benefit once I'm accustomed to it.

The voice on the audio sounded like it was computer generated. It would have been nice to have a more normal sounding voice reading the script
i appreciate the opportunity to turn off the being read to as i prefer reading at my own pace.
These questions are highly subjective and many are based on underwriting guidelines and individual policy forms which vary from insurer to insurer. It is therefore irresponsible to test people on material that may be in direct conflict with what they learn at their jobs. additionally, some of the questions are not answered in the text even when direct comparing the answers and the text. For example, the question about compulsory PIP coverage and whether it is afforded is left gray in the text, and then the answers are yes or no, without guidance to whether or not there is majority opinions in any jurisdiction. I believe the text just says there is "disagreement" about whether coverage will be provided, then the answer asks if coverage will be provided with a yes or no response. What. A. Joke.

In the UM section, there were only 5 questions to answer in each section and often it was the same question with different names, etc...and the same answer. I recall answering "stacking" in 3 of 5 questions. Also, I believe some answers were marked wrong in error. I remember two questions asking if UM/UIM would apply if the other insurance company denied payment due to disputed facts. I answered "no" because it was a liability denial, not a coverage denial. I failed that test due to those wrong answers.

The monotoned reader was putting me to sleep. I'd recommend getting an actual person with some inflection in their voice to read the course.
The only issue I had while going through this course, was run-on sentences. Other than that, it was very informative. And the examples were great!

The questions need to be clearer. There were many I got wrong but the wording doesn't make sense. Also, many questions had the same answer and it made it hard to choose which one you wanted right.

i enjoyed and understood the course provided
The course asserts, repeatedly, that NO UM/UIM coverage will apply if the insured is also entitled to workers compensation or disability benefits. This simply is not true. Workers compensation coverage will pay for medical expenses and a limited amount of income loss. Insureds can still pursue claims for damages that are not covered by workers compensation under their UM/UIM coverage. As noted in the course, UM/UIM coverage does pay general damages which are NOT recoverable under a workers compensation claim. Also, income loss in excess of what workers compensation would pay under a state schedule would also be recoverable under UM/UIM. I'd let this go but the course repeatedly insists that no UM/UIM coverage is available if work comp applies. This is dangerous because my employer/carrier was sued for bad faith because an inexperienced adjuster denied all UM/UIM coverage because the injured insured collected workers compensation benefits. This may be state specific (though I doubt it), but the course materials should be updated with regard to this issue.
The site could be more user friendly and explain what is included in the bundles so you can see which ones have ethics.

The ease of being able to find what I am looking for was great. The divisions were also good. I used a different CE company for years but like WebCe much better.

It is a very long process for this course. I am a slow and intentional reader which made the time I spent on the course nearly 5 hours! The content was very good. I learned alot.

Overall pretty good but sometimes the 'but sometimes' statements really muddy the water since they are in the same section as the original point. Separating these statements would really help separate the fact from the fiction so to say.

The only thing I did not like was finding my most recent place in the materials if I had to save/exit and come back. For some reason I did not come back to where I left off. Otherwise the experience was good.
The gentleman who is reading the script in this course mispronounces some words and misreads various punctuation pauses, starts and stops which, at times, was distracting (unless "he" is an AI entity, then he read it as well as he could based on the way this was written, then all bets are off.)
Some of the questions throughout the entire CE Classes were ambiguous or very hard to understand what was requested due to the use of double negatives. Questions need to be clearer.
The math was off on one of the test questions. Also, pizza delivery is excluded from most personal auto policies.
There was one question which was poorly worded
The course had a lot of extraneous information which took extra time to read. I read all information although there were a few parts I only skimmed… Therefore, this 3 credit hour course took me 3.5 hours to complete. Extraneous information should be limited or removed. I have used WebCE for many years and that is the only thing I would change.
WebCe is a required vendor for my employer. I will use this product because the company pays for it.

Good checking on learning questions
I prefer the assessment to be after each section instead of having a long assessment at the end of the course.
I liked that I had the opportunity to re-take the test as many times as needed and was able to pick back up where I left off on course.
I've been using WebCE for years and will continue to do so because of ease of use, availability and price.
Like the courses and if didn't pass I had more chances to to go back to my learning courses and re due my quizzes
The test questions were horrible! I understand Ethics. You can tell by my practice tests, but the actual text questions were horrible, and not understandable. Please review them!

There was a question under the rental section that was incorrect. It stated if the car dealer provided the insured with a rental for $25 a day, how much would the PAP pay toward the rental expense. The answer should have been $25 a day minus the 1 day deductible, but instead, the only acceptable answer was $30 a day minus the 1 day deductible. The amount should be changed to make this a correct answer.

"Read it to me audio" was not done very well. Lots of mispronounced words and no pauses at the end of some sentences, making it hard to understand. Also, there was no expression in the reader's voice (monotone) which was distracting and also made some sentences hard to understand. I finally turned off the audio and proceeded with the rest of the course without it.

There is one question around the 10-14 chapter mark in the exam that has two answers that are almost identical. One word difference, and they state the same thing.. yet one was the wrong answer. That might need to be updated or changed or omitted altogether.
