If possible, change the voiceover to have proper "inflection". There is a real disconnect when listening to the voiceover, and the emphasis on some words is off-putting and has an alternate meaning in the sentence.

This course had way too many chapters and entirely too many chapter quizzes! I think some of the chapters could have been combined to make it less segmented. Out of all of the classes I've taken this time around, this one was by far the one I least enjoyed.

I have used webCE for years to recertify my adjuster's license every two years (though under a previous account). Imagine my surprise this time to find that DEI has infected even this material. References to equity and diversity should not apply to adjuster decision-making. The policy is a contract between company and policyholder, and coverage/denial decisions are based on policy language and applied consistently to ALL policyholders regardless of their "culture." Additionally, wikipedia is quoted as source material in one of the slides. That alone invalidates the respectability of the entire presentation, since widipedia is a constantly-revised, user-defined platform. I will not be using webCE for my next renewal if this same Ethics model is present in two years.

What I liked was the interactions "please pause and review the exercise or table" those were fun. But what I dislike is that the final Exam questions were a bit tougher than the quizzes taken after each learning sessions. If worded differently, that can be confusing because you've already learned it one way and then it gets worded a different way on the Exam. A lot of questions after each learning session were not even asked on the final exam. Just my thoughts. Since I handle COV B personal property inventory only, it would be great for you to come up with courses for specifically that and interacting with the name insureds. Thank you kindly.

I thought the course met the stated objectives without being to long or complicated.
Questions were written poorly and allowed room for subjective answers. If testing, needs to be more black and white. Many answers were written in the book upon review so that is how I knew it wasn't correct on the test but, the answer could be technically correct in certain circumstances. I do not believe those are fair questions and answers to present.

WebCE makes it easy to complete necessary CE credits and offers the option of reporting the credits for licenses
The length of some of the questions makes the questions get wordy causing confusion. Unnecessary sentence that have nothing to do with coverage are used. Some questions could be interrupted differently and therefore changing the answer.

When recapping or having to read a section just to be able to go back to the section at hand and not have to re-read that particular section all over again since it's a lot of information
The test questions were often ambiguous
The "Return to Dashboard" could be easier to find or bigger.
The only "Negative" I can mention relating to this particular course is that there was an excessive amount of unnecessary verbiage in the majority of the course content which resulted in it taking MUCH longer to read all of the provided materials than is needed for the relatively "simple" topics covered ! A significant portion of the provided wording could easily be omitted from the course with no adverse affects on the comprehension of the course material or the Final Exam proficiency, in my opinion.

I did not care for the automated reading voice, it was very flat and monotone making difficult to comprehend without expression in the inflection, tone of voice, etc.
the questions were structured to align you with the facts
one thing i didn't like is the obvious bias for insurance companies. it should be presented in an objective manner. There are bad faith laws, and you don't want to teach agents and adjusters to be bullheaded and one-sided in their views. They should consider the views of policyholders as well.
The Ai reader pronounced words incorrectly and read the dollars like $100,000 digit by digit.
The read-to-me feature was very distracting as it often mispronounced words.

The chapters described and defined the subject well. Plenty of information available.
The one thing I really dislike was using Wikipedia as a reference: "As stated in Wikipedia, in psychology, self-esteem reflects a person’s overall self-appraisal of his or her own worth.". This is a cardinal sin in sourcing reference material, especially when referring to a science such as Psychology where there are millions upon millions of credible, and scientific source material. The word 'Pyschology' was also misspelled as it wasn't capitalized.
The only problems I had were that for some reason I had two accounts. But I called the number listed and a very nice young woman got it right for me.
The only thing I don't like about the course is the word problem questions. The questions are way too long

Chapter 19's Exam had a wrong answer in the quiz as the correct answer. In Chapter 14, a sentance didn't have a period and it was unclear if the information was finished in that section.

There were multiple questions on the exams that were either factually incorrect, had multiple possibly correct answers (not enough information to determine), or would be state dependent based on that state's laws.
the auto generated course study is awful. A live narrator would be much better and the study would flow. It's difficult to listen to the auto gen voice especially when prompts like III are referred to as "eye eye eye" instead of "section 3" or the like
I'm guessing that Chapter 6 quiz - question 2 was a "trick" question because Values Descriptor: Open minded = Quality Descriptor: Friendly. All other choices were Values Descriptors which made: Respect for others the only option. This hung me up on the question for way longer than it should have. I didn't like the trickery.

The read it to me needs much improvement. When reading dollar amounts it single numbers them- which is distracting = also reading the subject and the chapter as with the same wording is not necessary and slightly annoying. Lastly the ability to read the words as they are written and should be pronounced should be looked at.

I appreciated the option to have this course read aloud and I like how the content reinforced that people with good character mesh well with any code of ethics in place and they should be commended for that.

Even though I got a great grade on the exam, this was extremely difficult to go through and the test questions were tricky.

Had to call to get my account re-set up. Went smoothly, signed in and took the online course.
As a property causality public adjuster I see no reason to have all the auto insurance questions on this CE test.
Easy to understand course.
I took the course in about 2 hours and then had to wait an hour to take the test. Maybe slow the course timing down or make it last longer with more content. We all get it that the course never matches the state timed requirement, so maybe there is a work around or addition needed.
I like using WebCE for my continuing education needs. It is thorough and easy to use.
Some of the questions were a bit repetitive and back to back on the exams. There are also some instances where the grammar of the questions are incorrect and cause confusion. Also, might want to update the AI voice, it mispronounced several words causing some confusion when following along. Things such as sayings 'lives' wrong or 'three zero zero, comma, zero zero zero' instead of three hundred thousand.

The audio needs to be the right amount of time for the course. 1hr and 40 minutes of audio when we have to stay in the course for 2 and a half hours makes it difficult to stay in the course for that long and listen to materials twice.

This course was more applicable then I expected, it was better targeted toward my career field then others I have taken. I felt there was relevant information to not only general ethics but information specifically about the ethics of insurance work.

I liked the test after each chapter, especially since there were a lot of details and limits in each one. I real life, you do not have to memorize all those figures, because you will have access to the policy.
The audio guy did not pronounce things correctly so it kind of throws a person off. It is already confusing enough using and understanding the acronyms.

The questions were hard to find. You had to put in your own words to find the answers. I had to look up some of the answers to the questions to see if it would be the correct answer. Took me longer to complete because the way the questions were ask.
More interactives would be helpful in fully understanding many of the topics.

Courses are too long
Disliked: the vocal reading was too fast. When I tried to control the speed by dropping down to the lower speed (it was actually the lowest speed), it was too slow.
The only thing I would change is the robot voice reading back to me. The rest of it was perfect.

In using my iPhone mobile device, When I logged into Webce.com to continue the course, I found it very difficult to find my course! Frustrating experience to say the least! It was a Claims Investigation course.
Consider providing clarification to whether General Damages are compensated under UM/UIM when an insured driver has a workers' compensation claim. WC claim pays for special damages (wage loss, impairment, medical), not general damages. Compensating general damages would not be technically considered a duplicate payment. Clarifying this distinction would be helpful.

I have taken Ethical courses in the past and the ability to re-read through and go back and forth through the teachings. I found myself wanting to read sections even though they were not part of the exam over again. It made me want to build on my personal excellence! I may have arrived a 3 but found self-esteem, knowing now more in detail what I must do in order to project my personal values, of who I am, what my beliefs are grounded on, and how I can demonstrate a higher degree of judgement, and promptness as an insurance professional.
Some of the words or phrases in the questions were ridiculous. Run afoul? Behooves? Nobody speaks like that.

There were maybe two questions I got wrong b/c I misread the question, however every other question that I got wrong was due to it being VERY ambiguous or poorly written.

This was supposed to be a 5 hour course and it took me way longer than that to complete. I did find one error in there but I can't remember where it was now. Anyways I haven't done auto insurance before so maybe that is why it took me so long, went on for hours and hours.

I found some of the information not accurate. For example in MN PIP isn't an elected coverage.
The audio is much appreciated, but the words were not always pronounced correctly and it was so monotone that it put me to sleep and I had to just read it a lot of times.
I especially like the chapter exams rather than an overall content exam. Thank you so very much.
Some of the wording in your exam questions and answers was very poor on this one.
The courses have multiple repeat questions that are very similar.

The course was relevant to the topics. However, all the other references were appreciated, but not explored due to time constraints. I see it as additional information. Most people are just trying to do what is necessary to complete hours to be in compliance with state regulators.

The AI reading the roman numerals was funny hearing i i i instead of 3. Great study included by Robert Kegan of Harvard University helped me see things differently, as the lesson later explained. Good CE class.

The site seems to be okay in terms of content, I did notice grammatical errors and the site has been down twice now setting back my progress. The "narrator" need to be calibrated to read numbers correctly and words in parentheses, e.g. (I)f, etc

The answers to some of these questions were not located in the course material (module) being tested. So if the entire course was 10 modules. Module #1 test would ask a question that is supposed to be in the course material for mod #1 but instead was actually in module #2.
one of the nicest, easy to use, self guided class that I have taken.
This was a computer read course and I could tell because sometimes the emphasis was placed on the wrong words, or the typo words (like IN instead or IS, etc.) were read aloud without changing to the correct word, which is what a human would have done.
The test content uses pop culture references that are very dated. There are some practices noted in the training that are very dated as well.
Hands down the best CE class I have ever taken. Very interesting!

Course was very helpful and especially if a person that is entering the claim field.
Overall, this was good, however I found the "Wikipedia" reference to be in poor taste. That is not a credible source and not something that should be cited in an insurance CE class, or any CE class for that matter. Given that literally anyone can go on this website and edit its content, you simply cannot use this as valid source for much of anything. I highly encourage the author of the course to replace that reference with something more educationally sound.

I've been taking CE courses and exams for over 30 years. This is one of the best experiences I have had so far. I appreciated the layout, ease of use, clarity and organization of the material and feedback on the quizzes, the ability to go back and check content during the quizzes and the ability to skim or skip over some of the material and go right to the next section if I'm confident in my ability to answer correctly - it allowed me to rely on my experience and save a lot of time. Nice job!

I have never taken an exam like this one and I LOVED IT. I love how each question gave you a blue link in the presentation on where to find the answer but you had to look through the information to obtain it. I ended up reading this presentation twice in a lot of areas which is really good.

IT TOOK ME LONGER TO COMPLETE THAN THE CE HOURS, AND COMPARED TO PAST YEARS, THE ETHIC CONTENT WAS VERY DIFFERENT - IT FOCUSED MORE ON BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT RATHER THAN ETHICS.
The material versus the test were difficult to transfer the information. Please stop trying to ask trick questions in the test. The test questions re word much of the material studied which in turn made it much more difficult to translate.

I like the audio part. I always choose WebCE to complete any CE requirements.
The only issue I had was that one of the questions regarding application of PIP/MPC and UM/UIM to the same loss was in a test before that information was reviewed later in the chapter.
Then only thing that I did not like is the wording , it seems that I had to be an attorney to understand what was said.
Inserted information, such as the codes of ethics provided as examples, should be included in the "read-it-to-me audio"
I enjoyed reading the Ethics course because it was not just focused on what is ethical and what is not. The material broke "ethics" down in to multiple categories providing information about how and why ethic codes are created, what it takes to be an ethical person, working with ethical businesses and organizations.
THE ONLY THING I NOTICED IS REGARDING THE CHAPTER 20 EXAM QUESTIONS I HAD. AT LEAST 3 OF THEM WERE NOT ABOUT CHAPTER 20. WHEN I PROCEEDED TO CHAPTER 21 I FOUND THE INFO I NEEDED. SO AT LEAST 3 OF MINE ON CHAPTER 20 WERE ON CHAPTER 21 INFO.
I really like the read-it-to-me Audio and I love the quality of the content and the fact that you are allowed to take the test until you pass. I also like for Ctrl-F option.

How clear and concise it was.
A few the questions asked about information that wasn't included in the course content -- for example, in section 12, there was a question about the two types of cars considered as non-owned cars -- there was no mention of trailers in the course content.
One of the quizzes in this course has questions pertaining to automatic termination of a policy but that isn't covered during the course so the questions are very misleading.
Since this was such a long module, it was nice to take the "mini" exams rather than one final exam encompassing all of the material

There were several "typos" in the text of this course. Three that I found. One was actually in the response of a correctly graded practice exam for chapter 2, question 3. Should read than, not that. I found it annoying. Most people probably don't even notice.
make the test shorter. As an adjuster, we do not get taken off claims to complete this. So a shorter test with lest questions will always be better.

There were several errors in the text that I noticed. I had to re read questions many times to get a full understanding of the question as grammar was------was----it sort of seamed like someone from another country translated to English from a different language and didn't quire get it proper. If you ran these questions thru a grammar check you would get many corrections.

This lesson had very short lessons and then a 5 question test - the lessons could have been compiled more with less tests and still effective, just to many tests.
Also really lie that yo report to the State of Florida twice daily. Results are able to be confirmed quickly including compliance with the state.
there was one diagram in this learning session that tied the words on the left to the words on the right by connecting them with lines. it was very difficult to follow the lines to which one it matched up with.

I did not think there could be that much to understand about "ethics", but found the test reinforced what I thought I already understood it to concern after all.

wonderful site, I am a new at renewal CE's, I checked other sites that left me confused, but WebCE is by far the best and easiest, I found all the classes to comply with my state requirements, I loved the fact that there are packages of the CE classes I needed.

So much more interesting and well presented than the Commercial Auto 12 hour course! I definitely think videos would help everyone retain the info better than reading, but I still grasped everything. This was one of the better worded courses!

I was happy with the content, it was clear and easy to understand. I didn't care for the "read to me" voice, it seemed unnatural and made it difficult to concentrate on the content. I would have liked to see more variety in the presentation, more diagrams, and graphics.
Question 16 regarding Bella hitting a hand truck is ambiguous. What is a hand truck?

The read to me audio needs some work - it was very robotic and doesn't have a cadence with punctuation. In addition, there is a lot of repeated information (for example, the sentence "There are five (5) apples" would be verbally relayed as "there are five five apples" which I found redundant and distracting.

The read-it-to-me function needs some adjustment. Some words are mispronounced and sometimes there is not a pause between the last word in a previous paragraph and the first work of the next paragraph.
The only thing I disliked about the read it to me function was some of the words were mispronounced - live(s), interpolicy, hit-and-run, and a few others I cannot recall.
The questions are very lengthy try to condense.
I thought the test answers for section 9.2 were contrary to the lesson material. The lesson had examples about pro-rata coverage between two policies and the test questions on the same situation said the earlier policy was considered terminated when the second policy became effective.
I love that the course is easy to access and easy to understand. The promptness of WEBCE turning in the credentials is a plus as well, because we can get our license renewed quickly.

Ethics hmmm! the products are written in a way that can be construed as protecting the owner/shareholder. The rules are sent down by governmental agencies which are suspect in their ethical behaviors. Insurance is nothing more than a gamble and those machines are rigged.

In the UM section, there were only 5 questions to answer in each section and often it was the same question with different names, etc...and the same answer. I recall answering "stacking" in 3 of 5 questions. Also, I believe some answers were marked wrong in error. I remember two questions asking if UM/UIM would apply if the other insurance company denied payment due to disputed facts. I answered "no" because it was a liability denial, not a coverage denial. I failed that test due to those wrong answers.
I did not like the reading option. Many pronunciation mistakes and the lack of intonation made it difficult to listen to. Much better, and faster, when I read the text myself. Self-reading also improved comprehension, as I could go faster or slower on my own pace.

This course is easy to use and is very planned out.
Its pretty standard content, I liked the idea of the read aloud audio, but it read much to slowly for me, I ended up using my mac capabilities to read the text at a speed that matched my reading speed. It also would have been nice to be able to access the course outline without having to close out the course.
"III" should be read as "Three" not "eye" "eye" "eye" and "IV" is "Four" not "Eye" "V" are some examples. There were some other words miss-pronounced.

The questions need to be clearer. There were many I got wrong but the wording doesn't make sense. Also, many questions had the same answer and it made it hard to choose which one you wanted right.

If there is a direction in the middle of the page and it says pause the graphic, the program does not give you enough time to get to the top of the page to pause it and when you have to resume play it returns the audio to the top of the page. Otherwise everything else was good
I disliked the choices of answers being to similar. The choices need to be more concrete which would require less revisiting of the content. The basics need to be stated, precise and not veer towards a comparable/similar answer.
I think all the audios should be no longer than 3-5 minutes.The attention spans wonders after about 5 minutes

The course asserts, repeatedly, that NO UM/UIM coverage will apply if the insured is also entitled to workers compensation or disability benefits. This simply is not true. Workers compensation coverage will pay for medical expenses and a limited amount of income loss. Insureds can still pursue claims for damages that are not covered by workers compensation under their UM/UIM coverage. As noted in the course, UM/UIM coverage does pay general damages which are NOT recoverable under a workers compensation claim. Also, income loss in excess of what workers compensation would pay under a state schedule would also be recoverable under UM/UIM. I'd let this go but the course repeatedly insists that no UM/UIM coverage is available if work comp applies. This is dangerous because my employer/carrier was sued for bad faith because an inexperienced adjuster denied all UM/UIM coverage because the injured insured collected workers compensation benefits. This may be state specific (though I doubt it), but the course materials should be updated with regard to this issue.
The site could be more user friendly and explain what is included in the bundles so you can see which ones have ethics.
So far I have only take one course but the ease of use and variety of options to study the coursework are very insightful and exemplary.
Two suggestions. Conceptual trick questions are reasonable, but trick questions that are based in wordplay (e.g.: "conception date" versus "inception date," "over oath" versus "under oath," etc.), while entertaining to a wordsmithing punster like me, could be inadvertently discriminatory toward non-native English speakers. Please consider a more accessible and inclusive format. Secondly, if a scenario makes reference to an unnamed individual (e.g.: simply adjuster, customer or employee) without naming them, I recommend using non-binary, they/them pronouns in lieu of the binary "he or she" as the former is more inclusive. In fact, even scenarios wherein individuals are named could stand to have more variety in gendering.
This course was awesome. I learned so much and the manner of disseminating the information was easy to understand and learn .

In Chapter 14, the portion about livery exclusion cuts off suddenly before transitioning to the next section.
During the portion about respect, it was said that eye contact was a sign of respect. I am autistic, and I wanted to point out that it is a very neurotypical workdview to say that and it does exclude neurodivergent people who have a hard time with eye contact. It has nothing to do with respect.
This question is sexist: "Yesterday, he ran a stop sign and was broadsided by a honey wagon, and the “beamer” was totaled. The insurance company is offering him $49,000"

This was one of the best courses I have taken.
The math was off on one of the test questions. Also, pizza delivery is excluded from most personal auto policies.
Since this is the CE product supported by my employer, I will continue to use this platform. I would appreciate more interactive modules to build memory while reviewing the educational material.

Could use a thorough edit. Portions like "Polarity" and "Character Development" seemed very tenuously related to ethics in insurance, while other parts like the "difference" between trust and trustworthiness seemed a bit silly and incorrectly framed.

When searching for phrases for the test I got a lot of no results. Trying to figure out the right key words to put in the search was frustrating.

I like the auto play audio feature and the ability to review what answers were correct/incorrect. I do not like the computer voice/audio reading the text. This course was very in depth and realistic. Despite the popular fictitious names used, there were very realistic scenarios presented and they were not just easy quick reads. I actually had to read them carefully. Conclusion: The content was very applicable and useful.

I absolutely loved the humor put into the questions. Thank you. It really helps make the learning process more enjoyable. Off the top of my head, I liked the When Harry Met Sally reference, and Hogan’s Heroes (old school reference, by the way), but my favorite was Jerry’s Ford and Abraham’s Lincoln. Ha! I laughed really hard when I saw it. Thanks for having fun with it. Great content, too. The read-to-me function is stellar, especially because it can be used on a mobile site. I was able to power through this material like crazy because I could do it on my iPhone rather than in a chair at a desk. I could listen while doing chores or walking my dog, taking breaks as needed for the quizzes. WebCE was recommended to me by Alexa (Toon) Killian, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She alleges she knows the CEO of WebCE. :P Thank you! I’ll be back to WebCE for future CE and spreading the word of WebCE to others needing CE.

The subject matter was clear and concise. It was easy to comprehend.
There was a question under the rental section that was incorrect. It stated if the car dealer provided the insured with a rental for $25 a day, how much would the PAP pay toward the rental expense. The answer should have been $25 a day minus the 1 day deductible, but instead, the only acceptable answer was $30 a day minus the 1 day deductible. The amount should be changed to make this a correct answer.

the statement "some may argue" made it a little confusing.
Concise information
"Read it to me audio" was not done very well. Lots of mispronounced words and no pauses at the end of some sentences, making it hard to understand. Also, there was no expression in the reader's voice (monotone) which was distracting and also made some sentences hard to understand. I finally turned off the audio and proceeded with the rest of the course without it.

I think you should make a course like this for all of our public officials. They should be required to take it annually.
What i liked most about this course was its relevance to my personal development as an individual. It was interesting to review the qualities that reflect character and integrity in the context of our current political climate and what constitutes groupthink vs individual responsibility. “The happiness of every country depends upon the character of its people, rather than the form of its government.”

The questions are to much text book and not enough real life. The question about the Zcar not added the policy is not real life. An agent or underwriter would step in and discuss with a supervisior and the car would be added with the appropriate premium to pay the claim. You should use real adjusters to form your questions and answers tailored to real life
