I called Web CE first to make sure the courses I chose were going to count. It was not clear to me.

too much information and the questions never relate to any of the terms its too complicated in scenarios as i can determine based on bias of test. true or falso or simple multiple choice is all that needed - information is overloading
This was a good course. I am in the commercial insurance field but learned alot about my homeowners insurance policy.
More interactives and videos would be helpful. Also, the ability to rewind the audio by clicking on a specific paragraph, sentence or word and have it start from that point would be very helpful.

This course was amazing and very easy to navigate thru the chapters. I had to read it a couple of times to understand because the wording was a little tricky, but i kept reading and re-reading until I got it.

The Read-it-to-me Audio was too robotic
The Voice reader seemed Robotic and was not easy to listen to.
There are no interactives or video The content is extremely dense and hard to get through
the questions sometimes felt confusing at times. had to read several times to understand.
I disagreed with some of the answers. 30 days from 5/2/2024 is 6/1/2024 as there are 31 days in May. The answer indicated that 6/2/2024 was the deadline.
2.2 Under Customer Focused Service there is a mis-format in the word insureds where the first S is bold for some reason. inSureds once you see it you cant unsee it.

some questions had multiple answers and you could not choose more than one
Some of the test questions are not entirely accurate or are misleading. For example, when does a duty to defend an insured end? It does not end when the adjuster DISCOVERS a coverage problem. There are still many steps before a defense could be withdrawn. Also, asking about liability for a DEFENDANT indicates a case is in litigation so the answer would reasonably be that a jury will decide liability, not the adjuster.

A few areas misconstrued coverage. Also, some of the Personal Property examples of coverage cited examples of structure losses.
The information that was needed was presented in a clear and concise manner, which enabled me to apply my learnings on the test.
It was a great course, and I will be using WebCE for my CE credits in the future.
I was told could sign into any device to complete course. This time I was not able to sign in on personal computer with username/password,(had been doing), this time it took be to security code for my work and would not allow me to sign on. I had to go to my work computer to work on the coouse.
Some of the questions needed to be stated more clearly.
When you save your spot for later, it would be nice for the system to also save the spot where you were currently reading and some kind of features that lets you catch up to exactly where the audio is reading.

For a person who just moved to a state and have to complete CEU's. The stipulations for the mentor was challenging. We are required to get personal info that probably only a family member, coworker, supervisor or boss would entrust. I would not give some of the information asked for to an acquaintence. I reaches out to a person I worked with 12 years ago who lives here. Talk about a ram-in-the bush. Lord I thank you for being a providing God!

In error I put my license number under OH than OK and I was not able to change it. I had to take the quiz and exam again. There should be an option that we can change it.

I loved everything about this course except the question about the negligence on the dog owner. Using the breed "Pitbull" is not just unfair, it is discriminatory. My husband and I have rescued 3 pups and one of them is a pit bull. Dog owners of Pit Bulls will vouch, 1000%, that they are the most beautiful, sensitive, caring dog breeds - yet, in the media they keep getting blown up with negative associations and examples. Using this innocent breed in your examples as a "cause for an accident or incident" is just plain wrong and I recommend you not using a specific breed for your examples in the future. Chose a better AI voice for placing more emotion and emphasis on tone when a sentence ends and a new sentence begins. It was robotic at times and I would lose track of where I was in the paragraph. Example I sneezed 3 times in a row, which forced me to close my eyes and lost rack of the audio matching to the words. A visual aid such as greying out the words read vs words to be read in black could provide a visual aid as the material transpires down the page.

You guys used "Demonic Insurance Company" as a fictitious insurance company in one of the Exam questions. That's just really strange. You could have picked any other word. I highly recommend changing that.

The course took less than two hours to complete, following the read-to-me audio and reasonable time studying the encapsulated material.
The one complaint is that the audio was very monotoned and sometimes combined multiple words into one word.
some of the questions on this particular exam were very very confusing. many of the answers that require a response of what the adjuster is NOT looking for, is based on speculation or opinion, which neither one is a fair assessment and doesn't provide a fair chance at getting the question correct. I've been in insurance for over a decade, and this CE exam was by far one of the poorly worded CE exams I've completed.
Some of the questions had what I believe were no correct answers. Even a careful reading and deliberating over the intent of the question left me with no correct option.

THE COURSE IS GOOD KNOWLEGE .
ours reads like it was written by two or more authors . the first sections were confusing, dis-organized, and contradictory. Poor examples which in many cases didn't fit the content. Example; re-using the retaining wall damaged by wind in the contents section of the course. How would a retaining wall be damaged by fire and subsequently by wind. nonsensical.

Some of your questions could possibly have several correct answers, and they really do not need to be a dissertation question :)
Some parts need to be broken up into smaller sections. Reading these can be quite long, and I think breaking them up would be better. It's a lot of information to digest.
I have ADHD. It was AMAZINGGG to have the option of someone reading the material to me. I get distracted easily and many times have to start over again and again with long material and passages like this one. One of the courses had no read along option, which was hard, but those that did I sincerely appreciate it.

One of the practice questions asserts that a "The photo of a banana peal" would be appropriate documentation for a slip fall claim involving a banana peal. This is incorrect as it uses the indefinite article "a" referring to the banana peal, meaning the photo is not specifically the banana peal which caused the slip/fall. The correct answer should read "A photo of the banana peal".

The Examples given were excellent. In so many courses taken over the years the information provided has gaps that need to be further clarified with examples are they are usually not provided. Further clarification with an example / scenario is often needed to fully understand the subject matter. The examples and explanations given were perfect and helped so much.

The only issue I have is that the class is marketed as a three hour course, yet if you watch every second of the material you are still 45 minutes short of the three hours. Module time should correctly reflect the time the entire class is marketed as. Otherwise good stuff!

Questions that related to the topic at hand but were not purposefully made to be confusing by attempting to add double or triple negatives.
Some of the language used in the questions is a bit "imprecise" and open to interpretation. To suggest that documenting "thoughts" in the claim is somehow "wrong" is misleading. I believe you meant "personal" thoughts, or perhaps "personal opinions. The claim analysis process requires the expression of thoughts to explain one's decisions.
Being able to review back and forth is very teaching.

I know it's hard to write these courses considering all types of claims, but this one was particularly bad from the perspective of a Professional Liability claims examiner. One example is the question about when you can issue a check characterized as a "final payment." It's not that the correct answer to that is wrong, it's just a bit misleading because it's not really relevant in the PL world unless the PL is part of a package that includes a MedPay coverage, and then it's still a bit misleading because there are probably multiple "limit[s] of insurance" in play. There were also two "correct" answers in the first quiz that were painful from the perspective of training adjusters to strive for excellence, while meeting expectations. Then there was the quiz question that had as possible answers "for acting in bad faith" and "for failing to act in good faith." Because good faith and bad faith are binary concepts with no middle-ground, I'm glad I guessed correctly as both of those answers are saying the same thing. Overall just not as well-written as the other courses I've taken on this platform.

I thought I scored 100% as I answered the 25th question the same as the system showed when I asked to see the 1 incorrect question, number 25. I answered D. Changes types of coverage ...ie personal or business computer is covered.

This course focuses on auto insurance and has 0 value to someone that does homeowner's insurance.
The names used in the examples are distracting while trying to take the sample and final tests. In a lot of the questions, names aren't even necessary and just muddy up the question with alliterative words.

I thought there could have been a little more emphasis as "determining their is a policy in force" as a preliminary step in claims handling. It was noted round about. But the steps incepting a claim investigation could have been a little more steadfast in presentation. You probably cover it better in another course is my guess. All good overall.. I also like the way you teach broadly, but then tend to focus more on what is actually relevant in the real world for testing purposes.
I thought the course was well in prepared in the pre-learning prior to testing in that it made some great examples when referencing the particular policy aspects. The preliminary information was however EXTEREMELY broad in scope and no one short of a P&C Ph.d verteran adjuster would be able to handle it all. With that said you compensated by coming "back down to Earth" in the final test content in that you narrowed it back down and also offered some "Logic Opportunity" as a function of the test criteria for those that have a brain that works. So all in all it was a great refresher, but possibly to overwhelming for a young adjuster, and with an acceptible test difficulty level for those that did not freak out in the presentation material.. Not too bad but again thats coming from a 25 year Property vet with some background in all lines and an AIC...

These final exam questions are extremely difficult to read, not only are some poorly written but they are also very lengthy and so hard to process. Some are fairly easy but the fact that you cannot see which questions you got wrong is extremely frustrating. Taking the chapter quizzes should have been enough. But overall the course was ok.
I also loved the wording of the questions in the final test. I appreciate the humor of the names of cars & insurance companies. Kept me interested!
Taking this course made me think - is the required hours a number they just felt was needed or necessary? Or was the course work put together and it takes this many hours to complete so that's the hours we will require? 1 issue is the 8hr and 12hr courses finished an hr sooner then the hrs stipulated. and the course seemed repetitive. I think the course could shrink by 3hrs and clean up some of the repetitive material and get the times to equal the actual time it takes to listen to the material. Other than that this course and tests were great! Very appreciative of the online option to do at home at your own pace!! It's an awesome way to get CE done!!!

Questions should be adjusted to specific positions and what they actually work not just what a general adjuster needs. Unless i decide to work in injury i will never use that information. Instead additional information towards my actual claim handling could have been added in or even expanded on in more detail.

Quiz at the end of Section 6 has a typo which appears, after answering the quiz questions, in the comment and states the son bit the dog. Also, providing clear distinctions between actual 2011 ISO HO3 policy wording and the author's wording would help clarify information in this course. The course sections appear to be long continuous flows of ideas without clear and precise distinction between actual 2011 ISO HO3 policy excerpts and the author's text.

The course was great overall, but there are parts that I think would be confusing to someone who is a beginner to the industry. The wording in the endorsement section was at times unclear.
The Homeowners 2011 Policy: Understanding the Coverages Course is one of the most difficult On-Lone Continuing Education Courses that I have ever taken. The content contained an enormous amount of information to be absorbed quickly. For me, the Read-It-to-Me Audio is a useless feature. I tried it and found it difficult. When reading/Listening to so much information, I had to take notes. The Read-it was not helpful, resulted in distraction, and becoming disorganized. I will say that I needed the course and learned quite a bit. This course is much more effective that a simple "listen and learn" course with no Exam. That type of course is useless and no one learns anything. I really hope to see some examination of your course, It has many great features, but it needs to be condensed, note taking made easier for the student, a Course Booklet provided so that we don't ruin our eyes with concentrated watching of the computer screen, and become extremely frustrated with the difficulty of trying to concentrate. BUT: thanks for the course, I learned a lot, and achieved my objectives. Thanks again.

Typo in Question 11 for the final exam: "Assuming an insured*sic (SHOULD BE INSURER) is legally responsible to pay damages to insured party as the result of an auto accident which of the following injuries most likely has the highest settlement value"

Out of all the courses I took, I thought this final exam was the most difficult.
This is the first WebCE course that I have done that I found to be confusing, repetitive and not very helpful. There were paragraphs I would have to read over and over again as they just didn't seem to make sense due to the wording. Some of the questions were silly or ambiguous. Part of the problem is that all your other courses I have done have been excellent. This one was just ... not very good. I did not get out of it what I wanted to, that is what happens in the real world with the fad of policy limit /time limit demands and set ups for bad faith and how to handle with 3rd party vs 1st party. Yes, this was TOUCHED on but the rest of it was just not up to your usual standard.

And, for jury trial, the individual case method indicated six (6) lay people, which is permissible for a "petit trial" in a federal court. When considering a jury verdict, would not 6-12 lay people comprise a federal court's trial by jury? Just a thought for clarification, it certainly did not affect the outcome of understanding the issues of making an estimate for the individual case estimate reserve method.

Liked the examples used in the material... after a long wordy paragraph, or sets of paragraphs, the examples were an effective way to communicate the content.
The audio voice will put you to sleep. Audio quality could use improvement as well. However, having the audio option is critical to me because it does hold my attention better than me reading the material on my own.
The audio -person reading the the course has a very monotone voice that i found myself getting very drowsy.
All of the modules fulfilled their purpose. You might enhance the program with a video or two.
This was a very intense course and it was important for me to get up and do other things and then go back for another Section. I kept writing notes and using the option to go back to the sections as needed. A lot of materials to cover.
There needs to be a quicker way to get to the keywords after you search for them. That makes it more time-consuming. Claim Reps usually always have lots of work to get back to.

Just wish the program presentation was more interactive - differing the format from chapter to chapter. Rather than just reading, listening, and being quizzed on the material.
This course took longer than 12 hours to complete and the continuing education credits should have been more in line with 15 or 18. I find this is consistent with WebCE courses.

The information was quite redundant. In addition, some sections were way too long and jam packed that it seemed like they would never end. It’s much easier to grasp the information when broken down into multiple pages or sections.

Course was very well suited for the position of loss adjusters of any types
The computer voice is almost good. but annoying too many times. It mispronounced words, paused too long at commas, and said things like "one colon zero zero" for 1:00 or said "dash" instead of "minus" in a math question. It was overall distracting too many times.

As a long time claim professional, this course was well done and a good reminder on all the aspects of good claim handling.
Quiz and test questions are extremely wordy and highly confusing. No one needs 6 sentences of information (some irrelavent) with several characters having similar names or cartoon names in order to answer a question. I spent 50% of my time condensing the facts of your questions.
My main grievance dealt with the ambiguousness and lack of clarity in the questions asked on the tests. The question under the liability section that asks "Who is not covered by the HO 3 policy" -The question did not advise what coverage type they were talking about (personal contents, liability, etc...). I still do not understand the reasoning for the answer on that question.
Each time I take a course, even to refresh my knowledge, I learn more. Thank you!

It would be nice if the information could be tailored to specific areas of expertise - for example auto adjusting, workman's comp etc. Many of the topics/questions were not relative to my specific line of work and therefore unnecessary information to practice/review.

The Chapter 2 End of Chapter Review asks questions about information not covered until subsequent chapters. For example it asked about evidence when evidence is not discussed until Ch 3, pertinent communications and how/when they need to be responded to, denial of coverage, and time frame when payment needs to be issued by.

Lots of overlap with the Investigation course Exhibit 4.3 refers to a fractured femur but then talks about 2nd surgery to remove hardware from arm. Femur is in the leg.
