The questions and answers are the weakest link in your program: when more than one answer is acceptable, it reduces the quality of the question.
Read it to me audio was often difficult to understand because of mispronunciations or a lack of emphasis or inflection on certain words or phrases.
I couldn't tell what questions I got wrong but one may be question 104. I think the right answer is D but looks like I selected C, which i new was wrong as well so shame on me but D doesn't seem write as clients will most likely need to fund for losses in year one with the state. I've never worked with state so can't be certain but if I were UW, the state shouldn't take the risk of bankruptcy from clients so reserve appropriately
More interactives and videos would be helpful. Also, the ability to rewind the audio by clicking on a specific paragraph, sentence or word and have it start from that point would be very helpful.

One of the example questions used a fake business named "Turner Dairies" which is only one letter removed from a book called the Turner Diaries which glorifies terrorism and inspired the Oklahoma City bombings of the 1990s. If this reference was intentional, it has no place in the course.

Some of the test questions are not entirely accurate or are misleading. For example, when does a duty to defend an insured end? It does not end when the adjuster DISCOVERS a coverage problem. There are still many steps before a defense could be withdrawn. Also, asking about liability for a DEFENDANT indicates a case is in litigation so the answer would reasonably be that a jury will decide liability, not the adjuster.

I love that you have 6 hour ethics options, it allows me to always make sure I have enough ethics hours. I also love that the material is clear and easy to comprehend.
The content included in this course appears to be skewed by the authors lack of experience. The question are "carrier specific". All carriers do not operate the same way. The quoting of authors (i.e. Plato etc.) and references to multiple works (books), regarding ethics is irelevant. The course is based on the opinions and bias of the the author. This is everything an ethics course should not be.

The course material covered workers compensation details that are valuable to all employers and employees on a State or Federal level as well as insurance agents at any stage in their career.
The automated voice reading the text was frequently incorrect in pronunciation and made sentences hard to follow by the fact the pronunciation of many words was so obviously wrong. A human being reading the text would have been better.
I look forward to WebCE providing professional liability coverage and claim courses, E&O coverage and claim handling courses.

When highlighting red flags, one of the red flags listed was "extensive chiropractic treatment" due to soft-tissue injuries. However, in my experience working in Florida PIP, most auto injuries do end up being mainly soft-tissue and/or with chiropractic treatment being the most likely treatment. I understand this is likely a reference to the fact that chiropractic and soft-tissue injuries are the easiest to misrepresent, however it is not specifically because it is extensive or that it is soft-tissue, but rather that there seems to be no improvement in condition with treatment over time. This line could be reworded to explain better why this could be a red flag, since the wording as it is now comes across as out of touch for how auto injury claims actually present.

The cutesy names throw me off the main topic I should be focusing on.
My only critique is that I often am on the road for long periods of time and this is an excellent time to listen to the audio content. Problematically, and indeed dangerously, I have to use my phone to switch to the next chapter. This creates a distracted environment. I know that you also occasionally have content quizes, which stall my advancement in reviewing the content. Is there a not safe way around this? Maybe you could provide an app that recognizes that the user is in a car and waive these requirements? I really would love to be able to do this while I drive, but the danger due to distraction gives me pause.

Some Example test questions in the modules are worded in such way as they can be taken in different ways, resulting on wrong "answers" - Ex. Question about First Notice of Loss vs. Documentation: the background info in the question leads one to believe the First Notice had already been reported.
The audio could use some improvement to be more easily understood. For example, the written text frequently contains a number of days in the following format "thirty (30) days" and the audio reads this every time as "thirty thirty days". As a side note, there are also a few typos within the text.
Some sentences were incomplete and gtrammar was incorrect at times.

Audio for the entire course
I loved everything about this course except the question about the negligence on the dog owner. Using the breed "Pitbull" is not just unfair, it is discriminatory. My husband and I have rescued 3 pups and one of them is a pit bull. Dog owners of Pit Bulls will vouch, 1000%, that they are the most beautiful, sensitive, caring dog breeds - yet, in the media they keep getting blown up with negative associations and examples. Using this innocent breed in your examples as a "cause for an accident or incident" is just plain wrong and I recommend you not using a specific breed for your examples in the future. Chose a better AI voice for placing more emotion and emphasis on tone when a sentence ends and a new sentence begins. It was robotic at times and I would lose track of where I was in the paragraph. Example I sneezed 3 times in a row, which forced me to close my eyes and lost rack of the audio matching to the words. A visual aid such as greying out the words read vs words to be read in black could provide a visual aid as the material transpires down the page.

The course content was well written. The practice questions at the end of the chapters were also fair and relevant. The final exam questions, however, were written in a confusing manner, focused too much on areas that the majority of workers' compensation professionals never encounter, and generally did not reflect the quality of the course content. The questions acted more like "got you" questions than those designed to truly test mastery of the material. I suggest a total review and re-write of the final exam questions.

It would be very helpful to have a mixture of tools to meet the learning goals, to include videos, interactives etc. I found the material was overwhelming in content and at times hard to follow even with the audio.
The questions were too wordy. It got very confusing with all the different names. Much easier if you stick with the basics and shorten the question. Some were cute but not needed when trying to pass an exam.
The course makes it very clear Ethics is very important to the insurance business and the adjuster!

27 years of taking Ethics, the quizzes are now deliberately written to be very difficult. Search feature is almost useless as all multiple-choice answers are within the searched chapter and have no clear-cut choice that matches the question being asked.

This is not only a good way of testing knowledge, but it is a great way to teach the information. I am learning a great deal from going through this that I'm also retaining for my job. I think it is because of how it is explained and set up to not just remember it but to learn it.

Please remove all gendered information in favor of available they/them pronouns as any one gender has no dealing with insurance claims or ethics of claims. Also please remove mention of Sam (Bankman)Fried in relation to ethical standards as he has been convicted of several counts of fraud and unethical business practices.

Some of the longer sections were harder to focus on because they were long bits of information being read without anything to break up the information.
Only issue i felt was that the narrator spoke a little fast, otherwise enjoyed the course.

These ethics course requirements seem overly complex and with several sections that didn't seem to apply to ethics at all (i.e. claim reporting process). I've done this job nearly 23 years and still much of this seems like word-salad nonsense.

Very boring and I was completed with all the material in 1 1/2 hours, but had to basically repeat the course to get my mandatory 3 hours for MN. What a waste.

Under Chapter 3.2 after "following" there should be a colon: Under Chapter 3.5 halfway down the page it states: "A primary ..." there needs to be a colon at the end. The course material was fine, but I am not sure why it was necessary to mention Black Lives Matter or ESG. Depending on what side of the aisle you are on this could be inflammatory or praised. I just don't see a need for either in this material.
I appreciate that you provide Continuing Education Packages. The package I chose provided everything that was required to renew my Insurance Adjuster License. This made it easier for me than picking out the courses myself.

Please change the "read it to me" audio to a human voice. The 'automated' voice makes the material hard to retain.

The audio portion of the curse was very monotone, and I feel that some lessons can be shortened a bit. Some of them were rather lengthy and I feel that by cutting the lesson in smaller segments might work better.

I suffer from test anxiety and this product made it so easy to achieve my goals.

there is only one point I want to make out is the story line for examples -when using the Names such as Mr Black and Ms Brown it is confusing in a sense of the 2 last names are the Letter "b' would made more sense than to re reading it by saying Mr. Black and Ms Orange -other than that it was fairly simple

The only thing I wasn't pleased about was the below practice question & answer. Compared to the veriage in the content, it was very confusing and seemed not to quite line up with the content around this topic; for example, the answer I selected (letter a) used some of the same language as the content did for this definition (like "Suggested wording"); yet the answer that was supposedly correct had differing language & didn't seem to define the term Model Regulation compared to how the content described it. See below: 1. The NAIC provides the suggested wording for regulations that state insurance departments to use to administer a law that follows the wording of the NAIC's sample law. This suggested wording is known as a(n) a. model law. This answer is incorrect. The correct answer is "B. model regulation." A model regulation, which will be enforced by regulators in the state's insurance department, is a draft regulation that may be implemented if the state legislature passes the related NAIC model law. b. model regulation c. unfair claims practice. d. unfair trade practice

I enjoyed the ethics course but I did experience some issues with the audio stopping before the text was read completely in various sections.

Some questions used confusing language. They did present in basic, everyday language but when attempting to determine the technical answers, the plane language sometimes obfuscated the actual issue.
The 60 minute password to confirm identity continuously popped on screen and made it difficult to complete the course.
This particular course required one to remember the various deadlines associated with responding to a claim, etc., so it required a little more attention to that type of detail than expected. I am taking other WEBCE classes; however, there aren't enough monitor-free classes and the course topics need to be broadened as many of the same classes are offered from year to year.
Course material was well presented.
This course was extremely difficult- refers to itself as an advanced course- I don't see the need for such an advanced course for the purpose of CE however this is my first experience with the CE process.
Web CE is a reliable company to obtain or renew a license. The information is needed for any adjuster to digest with complete understanding.
I really don't care for all the biblical references in regard to ethics. I don't put much stock in bronze age mythology to support ethics and good behavior.
I would suggest that you not use examples of organization (i.e. BLM) that have been proved to be organization who engage in illegal activities when using examples of ethical organization.
Too much text, lack of visual aids or interactive components
I feel like the reading portions are shorter, but get to the detail quicker. I like that. I remember years ago reading pages of notes. By the end I didn't remember anything.

The attempt of tricking or using verbiage in the test questions that isn't contained in the training is frustrating. I got one question wrong for simply stating I would follow up with the lab before contacting the customer instead of answering that I would tell the customer I haven't received the report. There is nothing wrong with going above and beyond and that question is ridiculous as the answer is based upon personal interpretation on our daily work habits.

I always rely on Web CE for my CE Classes as they are always priced competitively and are through in their instruction and academics. I highly recommend Web CE to my friends and associates.

Wish WebCE became the official provider for the annual NFIP adjuster course. The current 6 hour seminar, the same format and content for the past 10 years, asks for no student participation nor any feedback to confirm that students actually learn something.

Every year I recommend that FEMA/NFIP use WebCe for the annual renewal of my NFIP flood adjuster certificate in the course survey. I don't understand why they make us sit through a 6 hour presentation that teaches nothing and tests nothing.

While I understand the time requirements set by the state. The required "time" inside the course is eponentially LONGER than the time it takes to actually read the content. There's no benefit to sitting around waiting for the clock to tick one all the materials'been read. Please consider adding EXTRA reading material to the course. Otherwise, this ends up just being a clock watching game with no actual benefit to MOST Of the time spent taking course.

The only issue I have is that the class is marketed as a three hour course, yet if you watch every second of the material you are still 45 minutes short of the three hours. Module time should correctly reflect the time the entire class is marketed as. Otherwise good stuff!
The only thing I disliked was the automated voice of the content. I found it very grating. I read the entire training as a result.
I would avoid using the term "Beaten" and might replace it with "attacked" or "struck"

The audio being read aloud needs to be an actual person, the digital voice was difficult to follow along due to spacing between paragraphs and sentences were not natural pauses and would also read some numbers in the qoute's twice.

The flippant manner in which some devastating accidents are presented is a bit offensive if you take a moment to realize that we are describing people and not cartoon characters.

The only thing I disliked about this course was the tone of the recorded voice. It was so dry with absolutely no inflection. I found this so ineffective that I chose to read the material without it. My suggestion for improvement is to use a more human sounding voice-less robotic. Thank you so much.

This course focuses on auto insurance and has 0 value to someone that does homeowner's insurance.
The names used in the examples are distracting while trying to take the sample and final tests. In a lot of the questions, names aren't even necessary and just muddy up the question with alliterative words.

These guidelines usually can be broadened to apply quite well to business activity." This statement is not only patently false, but offensive to those that don't practice organized religion.

It was a user friendly experience.
Test questions were worded poorly and sometimes had to be re-read multiple times.
I completed the exam, selected to grade it. It signed me out. Logged back in, went through to grade exam again and deleted 1 answer and graded the exam, so I got that one wrong. That is my only issue.

Great course and very effective! My only suggestion would be a more enthusiastic voice for the Read It To Me Audio. The course would have been even more interesting and effective with a more characteristic voice. Or perhaps a variety of voices for different sections. I thought there could have been a little more emphasis as "determining their is a policy in force" as a preliminary step in claims handling. It was noted round about. But the steps incepting a claim investigation could have been a little more steadfast in presentation. You probably cover it better in another course is my guess. All good overall.. I also like the way you teach broadly, but then tend to focus more on what is actually relevant in the real world for testing purposes.

I took this course for additional education in the Workers Compensation arena, and found the information very useful. Tough course though, for someone who doesn't work in this field, but very enjoyable.

Questions should be adjusted to specific positions and what they actually work not just what a general adjuster needs. Unless i decide to work in injury i will never use that information. Instead additional information towards my actual claim handling could have been added in or even expanded on in more detail.

Ive completed both shorter courses (1 hour) and this long course (11 hours). I think shorter courses are more beneficial as it gives you a minimal amount of information to process prior to taking the exam. Doing a longer course which can't be completed in one sitting gives too much information that may be completed over weeks.....reducing the amount of information retained.
Really enjoyed the content was on point, concise & not too lengthy. Appreciated that I had the option to read at my own pace vs forcing end user to use the "read it to me" method, which is much slower than I tend to read.

I would suggest shortening the test instead of asking questions that are silly or nonsensical.
It looks like the funny writer did the questions for this quiz too, shout-out to them. While I don't work in claims, I feel like I can use this information in coaching the customer service reps I assist in explaining the claims process, and why we can't say over the phone if a "what if" loss would be covered.

The time listed as having to complete seems longer than necessary. I understand the credit hours, however, some of the required time in the section was longer than necessary. On a case by case basis I can see where some many need more time and others less, however it feels wasteful to have to wait a clock out so you can proceed with the next section/tests. Just my thoughts. Thanks.

I was a bit surprised with all the references to Christianity and God in the beginning of the course. Do those who do not believe in God (or at least the Christian God) not have ethics?

the read-it-to-me audio is really rather terrible. Hearing 13,000 read as one three comma zero zero zero was annoying.
This particular subject was very straight forward and helpful. This course to me has real value.

Good Knowledge Information for Insurance Agent point of view class on Adjusters and their Ethics
In beginning the course I did have some difficulty locating my NPN.
Typo in Question 11 for the final exam: "Assuming an insured*sic (SHOULD BE INSURER) is legally responsible to pay damages to insured party as the result of an auto accident which of the following injuries most likely has the highest settlement value"
The only thing I had a problem with is, in the read-it-to-me audio some heteronyms (words that are spelled the same but pronounced differently and mean different things) are pronounced incorrectly for context. (such as the word object, being pronounced OB-ject, instead of ob-JECT)
many shady side comments and comparisons throughout the course. created for a biased, confusing, and borderline unprofessional environment throughout the course. The knowledge however was good.
Overall very good experience.
I had no prior experience with claims and this course was extremely helpful getting a good understanding of aspects of claim resolution.
i just think the classes should be directed more to Work comp for work comp !
I like to convenience and ease of using this program for my Ce hours.

It would have been helpful to define "sublimits" to property damage so as to be so informed for the utilization in regarding the structural building as well as personal property. And, for jury trial, the individual case method indicated six (6) lay people, which is permissible for a "petit trial" in a federal court. When considering a jury verdict, would not 6-12 lay people comprise a federal court's trial by jury? Just a thought for clarification, it certainly did not affect the outcome of understanding the issues of making an estimate for the individual case estimate reserve method.

The audio -person reading the the course has a very monotone voice that i found myself getting very drowsy.
All of the modules fulfilled their purpose. You might enhance the program with a video or two.

I'm a FL WC adjuster. There were so many questions about stuff that is normally not part of our job. The Longshore stuff shouldn't be included. The out of state stuff like monolopistic states should be excluded. The policy and all that weird stuff should be separate classes.
Course was very well suited for the position of loss adjusters of any types
Like: The "Pop Quizzes" between chapters; the ability to sign in/out; the ability to use the reference material during testing; some of the questions' humor is engaging. Dislike: Some double negative questions are confusing; the test. Understand the need of application of the study material but can we just have some straightforward questions thrown in (e.g., definitions). Thanks!

It would be nice if the information could be tailored to specific areas of expertise - for example auto adjusting, workman's comp etc. Many of the topics/questions were not relative to my specific line of work and therefore unnecessary information to practice/review.

Clear, complete, concise, and consistent training materials I can rely on: the 4 C's each and every time I need them.
Since I am a workers compensation claims adjuster I found that this course was too heavy on the underwriting aspect. This should be explained before embarking on this course.

The read-to -me-audio was very monotone and boring! Several of the dates (year) were stated unusual.....1972 was One Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy One. I was happy to see at the end of the test that there was a statement saying all questions were answered. I was just getting ready to go back and verify.
I used the auto reader function for the first time this year. I would like to suggest that you give an indication of where the auto reader is on the page. you can make it yes or no as well. I believe that would help me learn the material better. thank you.
I found several type-o's in the material or a few questions that the grammar wasn't clear in understanding what was being asked. For example question number 28 on this exam, who is Devon? The question starts of talking about a person's husband dying in an accident, then starts talking about Devon without identifying who Devon was. I think having someone else other than the creator of the questions, proof read these may uncover these nuances.
Courses indicated as "new" flagged upon purchase as "repeated" within the last 2 years (although they were new courses). Clarification surrounding available courses/applicable courses would be helpful.

The audio software could use improvement, or better, use a real person reading the material to ensure correct emphasis and pronunciation are used. Just FYI, in example 4.3, "arm" should be changed to "leg". The injury discussed is t the femur which is in the leg.
