the "pencil" videos were excellent. I did notice an error in one table in the content regarding age 62, 65, and 67 - the middle number on the chart repeated at 62 in error. but otherwise the content was excellent.
This alternative format is less attractive than the traditional format and is more confusing to use.
The presentation is robotic. The presentation violates some of the very recommendations for effective communications. Ways to improve: use of multiple voices, use of examples of interactions with clients, good or bad.
why so much on long term care? I don't sell it and very rarely get asked about it
This was NOT a 5 hour class. Probably 3, perhaps a 4 hour class at best.

I did read the entire course to pick up any new changes in the laws and programs. The exam did broadly cover most of the material and it was good to see it focus on concepts instead of minute details.

This is just a taste of what we are subjected to by the government- we need to voice our need to revamp the agenda for we are not getting what we have earned. The class is an eye opener and need to be more detail - how to read your own information and how to communicate with the SS office when one has to apply or seek information.

I beleive the estimate of $330,000 for the cost of healthcare to be exagerated. A simple google search shows estimates less than half that per person. It may be true if LTC cost is included, but that is not "Healthcare". Also, the VALUE of our healthcare is multiple times that of the healthcare of 20-30 years ago, but this is never mentioned.
I just like that after 16 years in the insurance industry, I can still rely on WebCE to be my go-to for continuing education. The low, bundled prices are always appreciated. Thank you!

I find it ridiculous that during these courses the names of persons being used in the examples are not commonly used names in the US. Stop trying to make people appropriate to other cultures, terminology or in this case names specifically.

The health insurance segments offer NO consideration of how to manage health care costs for retirees UNDER the age of 65. I think there are many strategies to consider to minimize taxes and health insurance premiums for early retirees that should be included.
I noticed a typo on page 1, "Introduction". In the 4th paragraph, Social Security was spelled as "Social Securchity". Typos bring into question the accuracy and quality of the course information provided.
The audio reading is the best and material relevant
Too many final exam questions for a five hour class.
Too much redundancy, too simplistic , and really over reaching education when attempting to choreograph an FA's body and speech language. I found this offensive and inauthentic.
The timing of this was way to long. It does not take 8+ hours to read this and the fact you couldn't take the exam until you were in the website was frustrating. Just allow to take the exam once material is gone through.
I would like to thank the representatives who answered the telephone when I called for their professionalism and willingness to help me. I would also would have liked to review the exam Q & A's after completing the course.
The exam needs to give an option to de-select a choice. I would have liked to do that so it comes up as an unanswered question. Once I clicked on an answer, I can't unclick it...I can only click on another answer.

It would be great to have 10 sec rewind/FF button for the read-aloud audio. There were numerous times in the Social Security course that I had to stop the audio and try to rewind to re-read/listen again to the audio on a concept.

There were a few questions that I had to read and dissect in order to get a better idea of what the question was actually asking
Always have anxiety taking test! Always a challenge. But you made it user friendly
Question 4 on the test described a baby boomer and their friends financial concerns during their future retirement. The two potentially correct answers included seniors running out of money or working during retirement. What is stupid is that we don't know the subset of these friends and either of those answers is very likely. I believe this may have been the one question I answered incorrectly. My recommendation: Either give additional information to base the friendship base or rewrite it completely.

Possibly easier way to monitor exam. It was not easy for me to find a 3rd party monitor, so would be helpful if you could offer an online monitor if possible.
I found this content easy and repetitive. How many questions need you ask about defined benefit plans for example to ensure an individual understands them? It would be nice if you provided a scale on the CE like beginner, intermediate and advanced content so I could actually select material I might learn from vs simply review. While review is important, more challenging content helps contribute towards mastery.
Because I am a visual learner the videos were a big help.. I particularly like how detailed it was and the example after the detail.
While the reading material and examples were excellent, I was surprised that some key vocabulary words were not on the exam. The exam questions were more generic in nature. A combination of the two would have been more fair in my opinion. :>)
Often the wording was too much of a long explanation or too wordy. Some of the content was repeated too much, sometimes making it confusing at first.

I recognize that classes have to be tailored to a wider audience, but I wish there were a way to get more in-depth ethics classes for my requirements. I don't think I got a chance to learn very much, since the class was 95% surface level material.
When taking the exam there seems to be alot of "trick" questions. I don't like that. I spend way too much time on one question second guessing myself.

For my CE classes I always use WebCE. The new rule passed by the State of Tx to me is not a good rule, I know WebCE had nothing to do with that rule. But I have been in this business for a long time, this particular course was not that hard to me & only took me 40 minutes to complete, some of the other courses might take me longer than the allotted time. But as agents, we should have free reign to take as long as we need to take to complete these sections & test or vice versa. If it takes longer so be it, if we finish quickly because that particular section is easier - that is o.k. also. But we shouldn't be made to be on a particular section a certain amount of time just to pass. Just voicing my opinion which I know will not matter. I only sell Medicare/Medicaid - not life or long term - so I went through this section quickly because it is what I do on a daily basis.
This course gave me a good understanding of Social Security without going into too much detail. It confirmed a lot of what I already knew and taught me some things I didn't know. I definitely recommend this to BOAs at Edward Jones.

A section of the course material that I am familiar with needed to be updated in commenserate with the new regulations regarding Medicare Part D prescription price changes as a result of the "drug price reduction act" that eliminated the "coverage gap" and places limits on thje cost of eligible diabetic medications. Fortunately there were no specific questions related to Part D in the exam.
I generally dislike interactive features and prefer good material clearly presented in written form with a good breakdown. This course did a wonderful job of presenting the text and I appreciate that a lot.

The read-it-to-me A.I. reads numbers that appear before the word “may” as a date. For example, the statement “… prior to age 18 may continue to…” is read as “… prior to age ‘18 of May’ continue to…”.

In the Health Insurance for Seniors course i think there may be an incorrect statement regarding part A benefits. You state that a person discharged from an inpatient stay has 60 days of coverage. My understanding is that the 60 days of continuation from discharge is ONLY for the same medical event, not a new one. Other than that, this is the first CE course in 15 years that I have enjoyed, and copied segments for future reference.

The content is very common sense for advisors who have been in the industry for any time. I could have passed the exam without sitting through the 3 hours - Every year it is the same content because there isn't really any changes. I know the regulators require it but maybe that will will change soon.

Defined benefit section should discuss cash balance plan designs not just traditional plans. Loan repayments to a 401(k) are not with after tax dollars. You are putting back the money you took out which was never taxed in the first place;this is a common stated fallacy. The distribution exemption for no replace ment defined contribution plan is only if the replacement plan exists within 12 months of the plan termination. 412(i) plans were changed to 412(e)(3) plans by PPA'06...

This course was written in plain English, and was clear and concise. Soc Sec is a complex topic. I'm sure this module will be updated soon, to reflect recent changes in GPO and WEP passed by Congress in Dec 2024.

Loved the open book feature of going back to the Chapter if I second guessed my answer. By reading that section again help retain more knowledge of the subject.

Some of the varbiage regarding Social Security was difficult to follow, but the videos help to explain it better for me.
The course is easy to follow and I use the reader because it helps me stay focused. There is a lot of information in some of the sections and the longer sections are sometimes harder to stay focused on, but overall, the classes have all been very nicely presented and helped me learn.

Again, I really like the videos and would like more. I wish there were more in the Social Security information; I know there are other important aspects that deserve coverage
The 'read it to me' option only took 3 hours to get through all of the course that is supposed to be 6 hours.
I loved the post card i put it on the fridge and it was there when I needed it instead of looking through emails.
This class took longer than the credit hours awarded. The content was good but the time it took was crazy.
The read-it-to-me audio is good. It would be better if the words also get highlighted.
For the amount of time that it took to complete the course with the Read-it-to-me audio, it seems like this course should only count for 2-3 credits.

As a busy full time working mom, the read aloud option and the ability for me to save my work/place at any point throughout the course was a fantastic feature! You have at least one terrible example that's being used in at least one chapter of this course. Furthermore, a substantial amount of the theoretical content within is inconsistent with what would be considered ethical, for properly indoctrinating future practitioners within the insurance sector for seniors.

too many ambiguous questions and answers
My main issue is the wording of the exam questions they are sometimes not very clearly worded on how to answer. There is a lot of ambiguity.
I noticed a couple of places in the course where I thought there were mistakes. I did not make note of the areas, but perhaps a proof reading of the course can find them.
Loved the audio. As an almost 60 year old, this information was informative to me for many reasons. :)
The formatting and ease of self adjusting speed of taking these courses is wonderful since I never know how much time I will have due to interruptions.
For me, it was daunting when I saw a course that was over 10 hours long. It became a mental block. I kept thinking about the time I would have to block out and allocate to completing that course and taking the exam. It would have been less intimidating if that course was broken down into smaller segments, like 5 hrs. each, Part A & Part B. I was able to quickly go through the shorter courses first and left my 12-hour course last to complete my 24 hr requirement. I do love the automatic reporting to the State!! I received email confirmations very quickly. And I also appreciated the large fonts in your text, as well as the short educational videos. Thank you for providing this service!

In Section 4.3 of the Long Term Care material, the phrase "Seniors" may purchase Long Term Care.....please omit the work Seniors. Non seniors can purchase Long Term Care. the wording can be improved upon here. I should get a discount for the comment.
I like the read it to me audio. This 6 hour course only took 4 hours to get through the material. I would recommend adjusting that so the time spent matches the required time.

The test asked more common sense questions than questions someone would actually have had to read the material or at least review the text to answer. I guess I can't complain about an easy test, but you're missing an opportunity to reinforce important points by having to go back and reread sections to double check answers.

This was one of the most confusing classes that I have taken with you. The formatting and the questions were difficult to follow. There was misinformation and responses that required stretch rounding, when that really isn't the point. The information was not laid out very well, and the test questions and answers were not consistent with the way other content has been offered. It was frustrating looking for answers that were not there or that the outcome caused more confusion. The goal is always to give the user the material, not trick them and go through those types of gyrations.

There were instances when it sounded like run-on sentences in the delivery. This was true throughput the lessons. I often paused so that I could read the section again for clarification. I did like the vocal aspect overall and prefer it to reading everything myself.

Seems it takes almost twice the time to complete than awarded. Likely a personal issue but if ALL content is consumed at even 1.5x the reading rate? It took much longer to complete this course than anticipated.
The course is badly in need of updating... For Example, the youngest Boomers are turning 60 in 2024 while many older GenXers are entering retirement planning. Also, assumptions such as increasing lifespans need to be re-visited.

This is a complex topic, and the work that went into preparing the content was impressive. I was very distracted, however, but the high percentage of examples (especially in the videos) that represented the wife making a lot more money (and therefore having higher benefits to compute) than her husband. I definitely understand the need to represent this once, but the percentage was unrealistically high (Piper - Winston, Tad and ?, Ralph and Laura, Bailey and Joseph). It was overdone in my opinion. But, overall, it was a good course covering so many complexities in this topic! Thank you.
I feel at times the topic goes beyond what we would need to know. I understand it is to give light of understanding/possibilities, however for example, if a client has a tax question, I advise the client to speak with a tax advisor.

There are a few places that need additional verbiage to explain. One is how to calculate benefits. It sounds as if you earn a credit for each $1,730 earned. Maybe I missed the max per year.
Speed of naration could be slower, there is a typo on one of the math formula examples that was confusing

What I liked was that I could pause at any time. What I disliked was that when I paused for great periods of time, I had trouble remembering what I had read.

The amount she can contribute to a Roth IRA for 2024 would be $2,800: the maximum for the year ($7,000) reduced by $4,200: $7,000 × [$155,000 – $146,000] = $4,200” $15,000 Proof Read Your Lessons! If her income was $1455,000, she couldn’t contribute to a Roth IRA. If Medicare Part C " is a private plan designed to provide the same coverages as Original Medicare plus the benefits available thru Medigap", why can't a Cancer patient on Medigap go to M.D. Anderson., Mayo Clinic, or Cancer Treatment Centers of America? And why do is there a huge difference between the maximum Out of Pocket between a MA and a Plan G?

Only be specific to the state. So if someone is renewing for Texas, the material should be used for Texas. It can be confusing if it is just a general class
it was really great experience using WebCe, it was clear, and the content was delivered in a manner that made it easy to understand.
One of the answers on the final quiz is incorrect. Payroll taxes pay for Part B of Medicare. I selected that answer and it came back as incorrect.

Excellent material. State requirements of being "in the course" for an equivalent number of credit hours is frustrating. The material covered in this course does not take 3 hours even with the exam. The referenced topic material should be better aligned with the amount of time it takes one to read the material and take practiced exam at an average pace, even if fewer hours of credit are applied.

Maybe it had something to do with what I sell, but to get the courses in the packet that pertain to what I sell, this was my only Ethics choice. Like WebCE and will continue to use. Maybe It was good and made me think!!!
I felt this course was thorough but difficult. I really had to think through the questions.
consistently clear presentation; questions were fairly written and challenging
after the exam , I need to practice three or four times.
i love that its self paced so i don't feel pressure to rush
The materials were well organized throughout the course. It covered a tremendous amount of material that made it difficult to comprehend on the first review.
I would like courses with no more then 4 hours per credit
Probably the best courses I've purchased from WebCE to date. The most comprehensive content relative to the concentration of my practice. Will probably use WebCE for testing for other licensing designations as well as my normal CE requirements.
Hate the requirement to do the I am not a robot at the start to sign into my account as most times it requires 3-4 repeats of different images and some are really hard to see based on the image/size and clarity
The voice on this course is so very monotone! Very unpleasant to listen to.

Some examples were too confusing. Some information was vague and could have used an example. Especially confusing is the information about divorced spouses claiming rights. Needed more clarification regarding WEP. Please allow us to download the course material or slides. Generally I learned a lot and it was very good.

I am a 34 year veteran dealing with Medicare. This was a valuable refresher and the info was current. The Long Term Care and Medicaid info was very much appreciated both from a sales perspective and from someone in the senior age group.

More sample test questions at the end of each module might be nice as a "nice to have" not a "need to have" kind of thing. Otherwise it was great, thank you.

Question 31 on the exam was answered correctly by me, however, the test results show a different response was selected. I have screen shots of the answers I provided that show different answer was selected. I answered b. Alice's and the scoring shows I missed the question, but it shows that I answered C. Sandy's. This course covers a lot of subject matter to digest in one course.
A lot to remember, so I review the entire crs multiple times.
The read to audio feature with the ability to change the playback speed was wonderful! I could speed up and slow down when needed to better retain material.

I loved how the course had the option to read the material to me. This allowed me to use multiple senses to really learn from the material.
The examples given were very useful. The audio was clearly AI, but easy to get used to. I expect that it will improve as the technology improves.
I like how it is organized for the most part, in that most sections are broken down into bite-sized segments that I could read and comprehend without getting fatigued. There were a few sections that were long, and I found myself having more difficulty getting through them because of it. This might be more of a commentary on our dropping levels of focus and attention, but it would help to break up some of the larger segments even if it means having more segments in total.
This particular course should be broken up into smaller sections. Too much information dumped during the Medicare section.

I found the process of signing up for the classes quite cumbersome because it was not clear which ones I had already taken. I called and someone helped me through this, but it would be good to make this easier to do online. Thank you!

Test questions and test options (a, b, c, d) are framed in the "negative" when using words like, "not" or "except," and do not necessarily track the intent (or alleged intent) of the questions choices. A guess:. Likely, because the "necgative" tenant is not matched up with the original version of test-makers' draft.
Thank you for putting the course together. This course Health Insurance Programs for Seniors had a few of the requirements and explanations that, for me, could have had more break-down. Regarding the hospital stays, days in the hospital and when open enrollment starts for someone who has turned 65 outside the enrollment period. I will figure it out anyway by re-reading the parameters. Something I am missing but will get it. Thank you for the courses. I have a great understanding of all courses I took.

It provided the best explanation of a QLAC I have ever read.
Would like more chapter test questions prior to taking exams that emphasis the most important "take aways" from each chapter.
This course is good for a brand new entrant to the industry but teaches nothing someone who has been dlimf it for a while.
The read-it-to-me audio should be done by a real person with inflection in their voice. The computer generated voice was dull and boring.
I have used WEBCE since 2014 very please with the content and how the material kept my interest glued to the process

I wish the sidebar outline of the course would automatically follow the progression of the material as I move through it.

This was very boring (great content just presented boring) Or do it on a power point slides as an option so that it can be used to teach other professionals as a presentation if I wanted (for an additional fee of course). And Where is the certificate located after passing the test? Tell me when I finish, don't make me go look for it?
