The practice questions are designed to fail. The multiple-choice options include more than one correct answer - thus making some of them incorrect, when in fact they are correct. I recommend making the questions clearer and not placing more than one correct answer in the options.

I didn't like the use of AI in the read-it-to-me audio. It sometime emphasized the wrong word in the sentence, which was distracting. It would be better to have a human being read the text.

I did say it was very easy to find the information for the state I needed but that was because I called and it was sent to me. I did not search myself becauce of a home state license question.
I think the course, material and test are very clear. The only think to consider is the read-it-to-me audio octave level for the tone of voice.

8 years of licensing, and this was best testing module I've ever had to use. The access to the material for each question. The ease of the modules. We ALL know CE is a pain, but this is the least painful test I have had to do.

For practice question: Reid was injured when his dump truck was involved in an accident. Reid's first office visit with his medical provider was billed under CPT code 99214. I got one hour of continuing credit when it took me about two hours to read the material and take the test.

The way AI read the content was a mess unfortunately. Grammatical errors made for confusing read-it-to-me audio. Mispronunciation of words like "subcontractors" was obnoxious as well. The content itself was difficult to follow. I had to reread a number of sections to glean what it was trying to say.
Only issue I had is when I chose my courses it said I may have already taken them, however I called and verified that was not the case. The gentleman that answered was very helpful and knowledgeable

This type of course - reading followed by an exam - in some ways is better than an in-person-class because, for example, you have to LEARN the material being presented rather than being LECTURED on the material.

Course would benefit from sharing more examples and scenarios illustrating the WC attorney fraud and role of Administrative Law Judges in rubber stamping fraudulent claims. Also talk about State DOI lack of urgency combatting fraud. Also should illustrate examples of the RICO suits against atty and docs in NY arising from NY Labor Law.
The Read It To Me Audio is an artificial voice. It even reads dots. A bolded T on the word "the" was read T-he. There is not enough inflection in the speaking of the words. A real person with interest in and knowledge of the material would significantly help the listener retain it.
Make it where the exam questions can be read aloud also.
The sentence construction in several places was difficult to follow as seemed to be worded somewhat backwards or was too wordy......ended up having to read it out loud and get rid of the extra words.....

I liked that it was open book so I could refer back to the course materials for the final exam. There is way too much legal jargon and unclear verbiage that makes the theories and applications of them very confusing and gray. I would not recommend this material to any not well versed in the legal terms of insurance.

For the practice exam questions: some of them are phrased in run on sentences or in a manner that makes them difficult to understand in relation to the course material that you just completed. The final course exam is more matter of fact and straight to the point. I appreciate the questions that have examples, or even questions that are difficult to test your knowledge, but I think they can be formed better so they are easier to understand.

I have been an Agent since 1997. I have completed many CE courses over the years. Content wise, I would like to see more variety. Topics that cover home appliances, plumbing, and electrical. ID theft and fraud loss coverage, etc.

The information is great no doubt. It is very well written however the questions on the final exam and again the names! Many names were re used in questions and it generated a lot of questions trying to keep track of who is whom when trying to answere questions about insurance. I think the questions need to be more direct without persons, companies and the storylines personally.

On the exam question 44 regarding state specific endorsements, although I correctly answered that question, the phrasing of the answers could be improved as there were three plausible responses.
It was obvious that the read-it-to-me audio was done by a bot. There were a few very minor annoyances by the bot. First, the way it pronounced "subcontractor" was off. And late in the course there were some headings that had minor errors, such as a period between words, and the bot spoke the word "dot."

Easy to follow
Would be easier to understand the questions if they were more concise and to the point. Also would be easier to understand the questions if you kept the names of the people the same instead of naming the adjusters, insurances, and claimants all different names.
As someone who does not do subrogation in my position, some of this was difficult to understand. A little "wordy" at times. SO thankful I had a few opportunities to retake the test!

Overall I think the course is good, BUT it is too long. It's great for a new adjuster but a lot of repetition for the experienced adjuster. Very time consuming.

I have been using WEBCE for about 10 years and it never disappoints me. All material and content is great.
This CE site is the only site I will use. My company pays for us employees to get our CE's if we use their specified site but I choose to still use WEBCE even if I have to pay out of my pocket.
Some course aspects overly complicated and duplicative. It dove too deeply into concepts that could have been stated more simply and concise. The information basics itself was useful.
Some of the questions, particularly in the quizzes, are not clearly worded and can be answered more than one way. The narrator voice is robotic/hypnotic

The only thing I had problems with was I wasn't sure if my license had certain requirements, i.e. ethics, etc. and so I had a hard time choosing which courses to take because I didn't know if I could choose any course or needed to pick certain ones. I think the voice audio should be more animated and lively. I work full time and I have a 2nd job that I work full time driving. The read to me definitely helps when i am tied up with multiple tasks. but sometimes, It was a bit monotone, and hard to grasp. I am more of a hands on learner, so sometimes switching back and forward every few slides with different voices, male, female, ethic, etc. Would make it alot easier to grasp and wont feel like a run on. I am thankful for the time it allows. When I didn't quite register something well, or wasn't confident in what I heard, i would simply replay it of save my spot and log out until I can devote my attention to the screen. Very convenient. I will definitely recommend to my friends.

I did not like the way some of the questions were worded. Some of the company names were attempting to be simplistic but actually made the questions confusing. It may sometimes be easier to say "John was insured with State Farm. State Farm paid etc" Names of persons and names of companies should be easier to recognize.

This course provided an information overload when it comes to Subrogation and made it more difficult than necessary to understand Subrogation through the different lines of insurance.

This course read like a lawyer's contract. It was Very Hard to understand. I had to re-read many sections over and over, and I still didn't understand some of them. I would have learned more if the course had been in layman's terms.

most sections of the course were difficult to understand because of trade lingo. Most of the lingo was minimally defined, and, as a result, the course was difficult to follow unless you were an attorney or seasoned subrogation professional. The tables, which were easier to understand, were minimally included in the tested material.

in the exams and in the chapters: please make the genders between the insured/claimant different than the adjuster. scenario with Donna & Molly... "she" did this, and "she" did that.... who is "she"?
Wish the FEMA NFIP flood adjuster program used WebCE.

I did not like the fact that the questions seem to go around in circles as if to try and confuse you. It seem to go off down different worm holes in other directions just to end up asking... what's the price of eggs in china. When it should just ask you straight up questions about what you just read.
Some of the questions needs to be proof read. This is an insurance course and some of the ending questions on the exam read something like Anne Adjuster, instead of Adjuster Anne. Also, I still found some grammatical errors.

The read-to-me function is not the greatest, but it did the job! The run-on sentences are hard to follow when the read-to-me is activated. Also, when formatting is off in the text, the read-to-me gets caught up.

The practice question with a zip code as the correct answer for a CPT code was not helpful and misleading.

This course has poor info in the course vs the questions regarding the CPT codes, I had to look them up on my personal computer, very poor course.
some of the quiz questions appeared to be intentionally constructed to be confusing. The exam questions were straight forward and clear. I spent too much time trying to figure out your confusing quiz questions and kick myself for not realizing that the quizzes don't matter.
The audio version to the course was effective and helpful. Including the link to assist in reviewing the questions during the exams had been helpful. Adding a search engine would have been helpful but not needed.

this course had way to many questions that are considered claims questions and legeal questions as an agent I don't have to know that detail as I am nto the legeal arm of the carrier. The questions were also not easy to answer as you had alot of questions that had answers that varied by 1 word. CE's are not suppose to be like testing for your 220 and this CE sure felt like I was retesting for my 220 and claims adjuster license
I've been using WebCE for years, and continue to because content id relevant.
Based on course materials, some information tends to appear repetitive. Also, it would break up the reading to have a detailed video exemplifying the material.

I have used Web CE before and find it to be very user friendly.
The content was very dry and could be presented with some inflection to make it more relatable. Some areas were covered as if the class was for attorneys and not insurance adjusters.
Very happy with the course. I work with marine insurance but found this course interesting and many elements are applicable to my work, especially about RORs and denials.

The material is rather dry. I feel something more interactive would be more beneficial.
In the section 'evaluation of a 3rd party bodily injury claim', Florida is no longer a pure comparative state. We switched to 50/50 in March 2023.
This course should provide more hours for CE credit, as it is very legal and takes much more time to go over the material. Also, question 314 has a punctual error with a period '.' missing after the end of a sentence.

A required survey completion just to be able to print a certificate that should be provided. How accurate do you think the survey will be when it is forced?
The question regarding the VIN on the dashboard was poorly posed and ambiguous.
I've taken many courses with you guys and this was by far the hardest to understand. It seems as though more examples could have been used to make clear the info that was being presented.
This chapter would have benefitted immensely from additional examples. Perhaps an attorney who specializes in subrogation would be able to read the material efficiently and with minimal effort, but certainly not the case for layperson. This course's content was shortchanged.

The questions I find were too lengthy
It is interesting that this course is for Pubic Adjusters, and good. It really should be for insurance adjusters as they are not required nor do they get this type of training from the insurer. The insurers adjusters should also be required to take the same courses as obviously they are very lacks in their education for their adjuster. This should be mandated as insurer adjuster training.

Of all the courses I've taken, this is so far the hardest one. This was more like a subrogation course for lawyers instead of one an auto adjuster could follow. It might better be a course for someone getting certified in subrogation.

On the practice questions, as far as who SIU should send in for the physician that treats people who work on garbage trucks, the entire premise is racist and stereotypical. Especially throwing in that Art Jones has a heavy accent. And you don't have to be burly to work on a garbage truck. You need to reformulate that question. It implies that someone with a thick accent can be associated with working on a garbage truck. I struggled with that question and may have picked Art since he was burly - but again - you don't have to be burly to work on a garbage truck. The accent part kept tripping me up and I thought it was a trick because that inserted racism into the question. Please consider what I am saying in the test for the criteria of who should be sent in. AND, the scenario where you sent Norma in as undercover, the test says the average employee is male, white, over 50. You sent in the exact opposite of that! A white 30 year old woman. So that misleads the person studying the test, to presume that you need to send in the exact opposite!

Some of the questions were a bit deceptive. For example, the NAIC Model ACT is always referred to as such- including in this course, but when the question is asked, it asks whether it is the "model law" or "model regulation."
I think it would be nice to have different voices for the read it to me audio so it is not so monotonous.

Once again the course material was concise and easy to understand and learn .
Some of the questions were very long. I've held my license for 20+ years and as an experienced adjuster some of these questions were worded in a way to almost trick you. Almost as if you had so much verbiage, I had to figure out who you were talking about.
I was so tired and so afraid to answer the last set of questions that I could not remember because I did not want to fail I just kept on reading them over and over again. I got them wrong but so happy that I did pass
You folks need to redo this subrogation class. You have to be an attorney to understand what you are trying to get across. This is more like a contract law / business law class rather than a class that should be offered to an adjuster. Really a poor job on this class compared to others Ive taken here. Has anyone at WebCE actually sat down and taken this course? They should Big F- On This one.

Did not like 50 questions. 50 questions at the end of a 6 hr session was too much. I'm just saying.
Course was extremely tough and I told others not to do it especially those who do not have a commercial insurance background. In addition, Web CE needs more available courses. To satisfy the L & H requirement, I have to repeat a course from 2 yrs ago due to the available credits.
I learned a LOT from this course and recommended to my team. I will certainly refer some of my clients (Retail Agents) to this course. Like the examples.

I have used WebCE for several years when it comes to CE credits. The material, ease of use and educational aspect is important to me as an adjuster and challenges me to continue to learn laws, procedures that affect my position as a Commercial Claims adjuster.
Would be helpful to break this course up into different courses. I work in Auto. All of the construction terms and requirements for waivers, etc. were very confusing and hard to follow. The information about construction insurance is not something that I will be using going forward.
10 course is too long and the test should be broken into 2 segments
This course was, in my opinion far more wordier than it needed to be. Courses that can sum up the topic in fewer words make for an easier to follow lesson.
I am a licensed staff person who works for an agent. I take most of the customer service calls and took this class because I thought it would help me with clients who call with questions about their claim. There was some new info in the course for me about the process a claim goes through to get resolved, Otherwise, I thought the content was very basic. The content is aimed at claims people not sales producers at an agency who are helping irate customers with their claims.

Need videos and more interactives to illustrate the concepts and break up the monotony. The preponderance of questions with long scenarios in the exam made my head spin! I scored a 93% the first time, though, so I survived!

Materials and questions were realistic and relevant. I was able to learn depth to the realities adjusters encounter. The scenarios included particulars of importance between the relationship of the position as an adjuster and the customer.

Lots of grammatical errors in this one.
In discussion of the customer fall claim the review of the damages indicated 8 weeks of treatment before the doctor's release to return to work, but the lost wages calculation was for only 6 weeks. There are some grammatical error in the final exam questions.

Chapter 2, Question 4, is poorly worded and the choices A-D incorrect. The question is asking when a final payment can be placed on a check. The correct answer in the book is “C” which states: “The check is for the amount shown in the policy as the limit of insurance.” This may be or may not be true. Often, final payment is may below the policy limits. Although I selected “B” as the best answer since that occurs more often than “C,” I believe the choices are poor and a better selection should have been made. This tells me that the writer is quite inexperienced in claims adjusting. Chapter 4, Question 5, Answer B is clearly wrong. The best answer is “D.” The question concerns contacting the claimant on first notice. “B” indicates that the claimant take photos of the intersection. This is not common unless the adjuster is way out of the community. The job of the adjuster is to conduct the investigation. The insured or claimant does not conduct an investigation. If the claimant was injured while taking photos, he/she could get a lawyer to sue the adjuster/insurer as an agent of the company. “D” is the best answer. Chapter 5, Question 3, poses a scenario that is partially incorrect. In the question the adjuster will be “making sure that she understands the medical terms, diagnosis, and treatment plan.” Again, this could not have been written by an experienced claims adjuster. It is up to the provider to ensure the patient is aware of the medical terms, diagnosis and treatment plan. Adjusters do not and should not be doing that. Perhaps the question could have been phrased differently by indicating it is a Workers’ Comp claim where the adjuster may be more involved with the injured party. Unless otherwise stated, I interpret all questions as non-WC claims. Chapter 8, Question 1, Answer “A” is clearly wrong. The correct answer is “C.” The question asks about verifying replacement cost. Answer “A” indicates evaluating the facts and information. Answer “C” discusses “Establishing a documented value for claims resolution. This is the correct answer to the question being posed. In Question “22” of the test, I found significant grammatical errors. “Felicity recently handled two separate dog-bite claims in which a teen-aged boy from a neighboring household was injured. Investigation in both cases revealed that the boys had been taunting the dogs, which finally responded, and she successfully denied both claims. She just been assigned another dog-bite claim involving an injured teenager. She assumes it will have a similar outcome. Which reaction by Felicity would be most appropriate?” “which finally responded,” seems to be an incomplete phrase having nothing to do with the predicate. “She just been assigned” is poor grammar. Should be “She had just been assigned”

There was an overemphasis on Builders Risk policy interaction with Subrogation. It was obvious in the course this is mainly targeted at Risk Managers and Contractors but being from an Insurance Company, I have a new understanding of why there is so much confusion on in the industry related to contracts.

the wording in this course was confusing. Many times things were phrased in a way that it was hard to understand who's perspective we were considering. ie: are we talking about this info from the perspective of the insurer or the insured?

This was a lot of detailed information that required focus and re-reading of information to understand the legality of the subject.
The scenarios were good examples of what will happen in the field.

I had question 45 correct the first time.. You should correct the typo between roger and rodger. I changed my answer to no coverage because it looked like a trick question that roger and rodger were not the same person.

The course name under claims was not what I expected. I thought it would be focused on actual subrogation process in a claim, not waiver of subro or recovery. I would suggest a name change to Waiver of Subrogation (How it affects recovery efforts)

The questions are difficult to follow in the way they are written and the use of some very unusual names distracts from the question being asked.
I laughed at the question about claimant Elvis "when Elvis left the building". Many other questions were also funny when it came to choosing an answer. Thanx!

The exam had multiple grammatical errors. Periods were missing at the end of sentences. Also, please use commas separating identifiers. It makes the question easier to read.

If I remember right, this course was categorized in Personal Lines group. However, it was mostly about commercial lines, builder's risk, workers compensation, etc. More so than personal lines.
Some sections were to long. They need to be broken down a bit since this is a subject not many know much about.
One of the quiz questions does not have a correct answer. May 2nd to June 2nd is 31 days not 30. May has 31 days.
This course was complicated and maybe could have been explained in simpler terms.
Your questions are ambiguous in many cases, not applicable to the operating practices of many prominent insurance companies, and at times unprofessional.

The only reason I am not likely to recommend the course is because the topics covered are not generally handled by the same type of claim adjuster. For example, my position is handling auto claims, so the commercial subrogation information was difficult to understand and not applicable to my position.
Some questions and answers are written inaccurately. An example is a question asking for 2 items/thing but the answer is essential listed as a single time/action. Leaving errors in information processing.
This course was billed as w/c subro but most of it was construction related - it would've been helpful to have known that going in so I could've chosen something else. Also, the test questions were very convoluted and difficult to understand - I ended up reading most of them several times before I could even guess at an answer. Having more simple "what is X" type questions would be helpful
Most of the material was more for a new claims adjuster, not as relevant for somebody renewing their license. Much less time should have been spent on the material. I would have passed the exam without reading any of the material.
This was the one of worse worded course I have ever taken!!! It ranks right up with the GL course. Please try to put this in terms that are understandable.

As an adjuster for over twenty five years the answers to some of the questions were not correct.
This is a great source for CE material.
Subrogation is a complex subject. That being said...WAY too much legal jargon in the course material. We're insurance agents not lawyers. Need to make the content easier to understand.
The instructor's voice was monotone.

This course repeated the same information over and over again. That is not necessary - makes the course longer than it should be. There are a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes that I noticed. The first practice test repeated itself from the first Ethics course that I took - exactly the same. This course needs to be reviewed and made better. I was not happy with this course. Some of the questions are ridiculous as well.

In section 5.5, the exhibit’s title "Providing" waiver of Subrogation was incorrectly labeled in the box categories of “Pro” and “Con”. The title indicated “Pros in requiring a waiver of subrogation” instead of "Pros in Providing a Waiver of Subrogation". Similarly, the subsequent box reads incorrectly noted, “Cons in Requiring a Waver of Subrogation” which should have been properly labeled as "Cons in Providing a Waiver of Subrogation". Both titles are used when the boxes of the exhibit list are discussed in more detail. Admittedly, this clerical error did not distract from understanding the pros and cons providing the waiver. The interactive visual box to ensure the understanding of providing the waiver subrogation enhanced the understanding of proper application. Nevertheless, I just thought you like to know about the clerical error.

I was impressed by the structure of the course and the go at your own pace system. However, some of the questions were poorly worded. There were numerous examples where the "question" didn't actually ask anything or the question being asked was unclear. There were also examples of questions were the answers didn't seem to make sense, were all correct, or were somewhat subjective.
During the course, the mini quiz questions were more difficult than was required for no reason. The questions at the end of the course were more meaningful and more accurately reflected my knowledge gained from the course.

This was a very interesting course. I did find several words that were incorrectly spelled on the test however and probably should be corrected.
The added audio greatly improved the accuracy of time actually taken to complete the course to number of credits earned. Before that addition the courses were usually way too long for the hours earned. However, since the audio is not read by an actual human being. It is not as accurate or easily understood as it could be. I suggest having an actual reader instead of using automated devices. Thank you.

Although most of the info was general, the BI questions are not geared to Public Adjusters since we cannot handle Bodily Injury cases. Course was obviously written with Company or Independent adjusters in mind.

Some of the wording of the questions and answers are unclear which could lead to an incorrect answer (example: the question that states that the adjuster asks Sue for medical records waiver and wage form. The answer was difficult to ascertain because the answer was not specific enough and could have been interpreted another way.)

A few of the questions had answers which had more than one reasonably correct response and were not, in my 30 years of claims experience, technically incorrect. This was more prevalent in the review quizzes than the final exam, however.

I like the videos and this course did not have them. It was nice in the prior one that I could see the presenter. I think it held my attention better. Also, the presenter in the prior one shared things from her experience. She was not "dry". This course tended to have a "dry" flavor.
I would have preferred to choose a different voice to read the material to me.
There are a lot of questions that have more than one correct answer. Most of them are clear what the intended answer is, but factually they are not completely accurate.

The digital reader's inflection was distracting. It would be much better if a recording of a person reading the material was used. I had to go back several times because I was confused by incorrectly (in general speech) placed pauses, etc. that distracted or confused me. It also made me struggle to pay attention, whereas the course I completed prior with human speech kept my attention easily.

I would love to see the ability to change the speed of the audio, just because some of us can't handle the slower audios. He has a good voice and the information is relevant. I feel that some of the test questions could have been answered differently. There was on test question, about "Gerald" that refers to him in third person but that does not line up with the way the question is posed, so it is confusing. More videos or interactives help with retaining interest during the course.
