The questions and answers are the weakest link in your program: when more than one answer is acceptable, it reduces the quality of the question.
Read it to me audio was often difficult to understand because of mispronunciations or a lack of emphasis or inflection on certain words or phrases.
More interactives and videos would be helpful. Also, the ability to rewind the audio by clicking on a specific paragraph, sentence or word and have it start from that point would be very helpful.

Some questions & answer options could have been worded more clearly/concisely.
One of the example questions used a fake business named "Turner Dairies" which is only one letter removed from a book called the Turner Diaries which glorifies terrorism and inspired the Oklahoma City bombings of the 1990s. If this reference was intentional, it has no place in the course.

some questions had multiple answers and you could not choose more than one
Some of the test questions are not entirely accurate or are misleading. For example, when does a duty to defend an insured end? It does not end when the adjuster DISCOVERS a coverage problem. There are still many steps before a defense could be withdrawn. Also, asking about liability for a DEFENDANT indicates a case is in litigation so the answer would reasonably be that a jury will decide liability, not the adjuster.

This was a good course with relevant material. It definitely took longer than 1 hour to absorb the content and complete the course and I feel like it should have been at least 2-3 hours credit in lieu of 1 hour.

Some wording suggests/implies bias, in favor of insurance companies. If I were an insured or an auditor, I may think that some of the course material is designed to align with carrier's needs instead of handling claims fairly.

Course would benefit from sharing more examples and scenarios illustrating the WC attorney fraud and role of Administrative Law Judges in rubber stamping fraudulent claims. Also talk about State DOI lack of urgency combatting fraud. Also should illustrate examples of the RICO suits against atty and docs in NY arising from NY Labor Law.

The content included in this course appears to be skewed by the authors lack of experience. The question are "carrier specific". All carriers do not operate the same way. The quoting of authors (i.e. Plato etc.) and references to multiple works (books), regarding ethics is irelevant. The course is based on the opinions and bias of the the author. This is everything an ethics course should not be.

The automated voice reading the text was frequently incorrect in pronunciation and made sentences hard to follow by the fact the pronunciation of many words was so obviously wrong. A human being reading the text would have been better.

When highlighting red flags, one of the red flags listed was "extensive chiropractic treatment" due to soft-tissue injuries. However, in my experience working in Florida PIP, most auto injuries do end up being mainly soft-tissue and/or with chiropractic treatment being the most likely treatment. I understand this is likely a reference to the fact that chiropractic and soft-tissue injuries are the easiest to misrepresent, however it is not specifically because it is extensive or that it is soft-tissue, but rather that there seems to be no improvement in condition with treatment over time. This line could be reworded to explain better why this could be a red flag, since the wording as it is now comes across as out of touch for how auto injury claims actually present.

This was a great teach on Ethics. It was just what is needed to help us Adjuster's make sure we do right by the Policyholder, Claimants, and Insurer!
The cutesy names throw me off the main topic I should be focusing on.
My only critique is that I often am on the road for long periods of time and this is an excellent time to listen to the audio content. Problematically, and indeed dangerously, I have to use my phone to switch to the next chapter. This creates a distracted environment. I know that you also occasionally have content quizes, which stall my advancement in reviewing the content. Is there a not safe way around this? Maybe you could provide an app that recognizes that the user is in a car and waive these requirements? I really would love to be able to do this while I drive, but the danger due to distraction gives me pause.

I believe it would make it easier to comprehend if you left out different names and last names. I think using one name bob for claimant tony for insured and the insurance company would be easier. It made it difficult with all the different names.

Some Example test questions in the modules are worded in such way as they can be taken in different ways, resulting on wrong "answers" - Ex. Question about First Notice of Loss vs. Documentation: the background info in the question leads one to believe the First Notice had already been reported.

The audio could use some improvement to be more easily understood. For example, the written text frequently contains a number of days in the following format "thirty (30) days" and the audio reads this every time as "thirty thirty days". As a side note, there are also a few typos within the text.

I loved everything about this course except the question about the negligence on the dog owner. Using the breed "Pitbull" is not just unfair, it is discriminatory. My husband and I have rescued 3 pups and one of them is a pit bull. Dog owners of Pit Bulls will vouch, 1000%, that they are the most beautiful, sensitive, caring dog breeds - yet, in the media they keep getting blown up with negative associations and examples. Using this innocent breed in your examples as a "cause for an accident or incident" is just plain wrong and I recommend you not using a specific breed for your examples in the future. 2nd course where I have the read-to feature and the time required was considerably less than needed before able to take the exam.

Good content test was questions were good and relevant.
Chose a better AI voice for placing more emotion and emphasis on tone when a sentence ends and a new sentence begins. It was robotic at times and I would lose track of where I was in the paragraph. Example I sneezed 3 times in a row, which forced me to close my eyes and lost rack of the audio matching to the words. A visual aid such as greying out the words read vs words to be read in black could provide a visual aid as the material transpires down the page.

You guys used "Demonic Insurance Company" as a fictitious insurance company in one of the Exam questions. That's just really strange. You could have picked any other word. I highly recommend changing that.

It would be very helpful to have a mixture of tools to meet the learning goals, to include videos, interactives etc. I found the material was overwhelming in content and at times hard to follow even with the audio.

I always use and recommend WebCE. It's easy to find what you need and easy to use.
Everything was as expected.
27 years of taking Ethics, the quizzes are now deliberately written to be very difficult. Search feature is almost useless as all multiple-choice answers are within the searched chapter and have no clear-cut choice that matches the question being asked.

Some of the longer sections were harder to focus on because they were long bits of information being read without anything to break up the information.
Only issue i felt was that the narrator spoke a little fast, otherwise enjoyed the course.
These ethics course requirements seem overly complex and with several sections that didn't seem to apply to ethics at all (i.e. claim reporting process). I've done this job nearly 23 years and still much of this seems like word-salad nonsense.

The course material was fine, but I am not sure why it was necessary to mention Black Lives Matter or ESG. Depending on what side of the aisle you are on this could be inflammatory or praised. I just don't see a need for either in this material.
Audio - reading of alpha and numeric was a bit much, especially considering the number of times they appear together. Example: forty five (45). Otherwise, great!

COURSE WAS A LITTLE LONG, IT COULD'VE BEEN BROKEN UP INTO 2 OR 3 COURSES AS NOT TO DRAG IT OUT.
The course took less than two hours to complete, following the read-to-me audio and reasonable time studying the encapsulated material.
The one complaint is that the audio was very monotoned and sometimes combined multiple words into one word.
I would like to see more video lessons
some of the questions on this particular exam were very very confusing. many of the answers that require a response of what the adjuster is NOT looking for, is based on speculation or opinion, which neither one is a fair assessment and doesn't provide a fair chance at getting the question correct. I've been in insurance for over a decade, and this CE exam was by far one of the poorly worded CE exams I've completed.
Some of the questions had what I believe were no correct answers. Even a careful reading and deliberating over the intent of the question left me with no correct option.

The only thing I wasn't pleased about was the below practice question & answer. Compared to the veriage in the content, it was very confusing and seemed not to quite line up with the content around this topic; for example, the answer I selected (letter a) used some of the same language as the content did for this definition (like "Suggested wording"); yet the answer that was supposedly correct had differing language & didn't seem to define the term Model Regulation compared to how the content described it. See below: 1. The NAIC provides the suggested wording for regulations that state insurance departments to use to administer a law that follows the wording of the NAIC's sample law. This suggested wording is known as a(n) a. model law. This answer is incorrect. The correct answer is "B. model regulation." A model regulation, which will be enforced by regulators in the state's insurance department, is a draft regulation that may be implemented if the state legislature passes the related NAIC model law. b. model regulation c. unfair claims practice. d. unfair trade practice

Some questions used confusing language. They did present in basic, everyday language but when attempting to determine the technical answers, the plane language sometimes obfuscated the actual issue.
The 60 minute password to confirm identity continuously popped on screen and made it difficult to complete the course.
This particular course required one to remember the various deadlines associated with responding to a claim, etc., so it required a little more attention to that type of detail than expected. I am taking other WEBCE classes; however, there aren't enough monitor-free classes and the course topics need to be broadened as many of the same classes are offered from year to year.
I found the course content to be extremely informative. The practical examples and real-life applications were particularly helpful in understanding the concepts. The layout and content of the exam kept me engaged throughout the course.

Web CE is a reliable company to obtain or renew a license. The information is needed for any adjuster to digest with complete understanding.
I really don't care for all the biblical references in regard to ethics. I don't put much stock in bronze age mythology to support ethics and good behavior.
I would suggest that you not use examples of organization (i.e. BLM) that have been proved to be organization who engage in illegal activities when using examples of ethical organization.

I've been a customer for decades and recommend WebCE whenever I am able to my colleagues in the insurance industry.
The attempt of tricking or using verbiage in the test questions that isn't contained in the training is frustrating. I got one question wrong for simply stating I would follow up with the lab before contacting the customer instead of answering that I would tell the customer I haven't received the report. There is nothing wrong with going above and beyond and that question is ridiculous as the answer is based upon personal interpretation on our daily work habits.

Wish WebCE became the official provider for the annual NFIP adjuster course. The current 6 hour seminar, the same format and content for the past 10 years, asks for no student participation nor any feedback to confirm that students actually learn something.

I get distracted easily and many times have to start over again and again with long material and passages like this one. One of the courses had no read along option, which was hard, but those that did I sincerely appreciate it.

Otherwise, this ends up just being a clock watching game with no actual benefit to MOST Of the time spent taking course.

One of the practice questions asserts that a "The photo of a banana peal" would be appropriate documentation for a slip fall claim involving a banana peal. This is incorrect as it uses the indefinite article "a" referring to the banana peal, meaning the photo is not specifically the banana peal which caused the slip/fall. The correct answer should read "A photo of the banana peal".

Great course for CE credit
The only issue I have is that the class is marketed as a three hour course, yet if you watch every second of the material you are still 45 minutes short of the three hours. Module time should correctly reflect the time the entire class is marketed as. Otherwise good stuff!
The only thing I disliked was the automated voice of the content. I found it very grating. I read the entire training as a result.
Some of the questions we're confusing where State X and State X. It would be best to maybe word that question in a different way.
I would avoid using the term "Beaten" and might replace it with "attacked" or "struck"

The audio being read aloud needs to be an actual person, the digital voice was difficult to follow along due to spacing between paragraphs and sentences were not natural pauses and would also read some numbers in the qoute's twice.

Questions that related to the topic at hand but were not purposefully made to be confusing by attempting to add double or triple negatives.
Some of the language used in the questions is a bit "imprecise" and open to interpretation. To suggest that documenting "thoughts" in the claim is somehow "wrong" is misleading. I believe you meant "personal" thoughts, or perhaps "personal opinions. The claim analysis process requires the expression of thoughts to explain one's decisions.
Being able to review back and forth is very teaching.

The course was very educational and well developed.
I know it's hard to write these courses considering all types of claims, but this one was particularly bad from the perspective of a Professional Liability claims examiner. One example is the question about when you can issue a check characterized as a "final payment." It's not that the correct answer to that is wrong, it's just a bit misleading because it's not really relevant in the PL world unless the PL is part of a package that includes a MedPay coverage, and then it's still a bit misleading because there are probably multiple "limit[s] of insurance" in play. There were also two "correct" answers in the first quiz that were painful from the perspective of training adjusters to strive for excellence, while meeting expectations. Then there was the quiz question that had as possible answers "for acting in bad faith" and "for failing to act in good faith." Because good faith and bad faith are binary concepts with no middle-ground, I'm glad I guessed correctly as both of those answers are saying the same thing. Overall just not as well-written as the other courses I've taken on this platform.
The layout of the stated objectives in relation to the information to answer the questions was not in a friendly format - I found it difficult to follow and find the answers needed.

The only thing I disliked about this course was the tone of the recorded voice. It was so dry with absolutely no inflection. I found this so ineffective that I chose to read the material without it. My suggestion for improvement is to use a more human sounding voice-less robotic. Thank you so much.

Unless there is some reason for me to need any additional courses beyond those required by the State of Texas, I won't need any more. This is the 20th year of my license requirements and I won't need to meet the 24 CE credits needed anymore. I have relied on your courses for 10 years and they have been a good update and expanded look at a variety of claims both in and out of my areas of expertise.

On the practice questions, as far as who SIU should send in for the physician that treats people who work on garbage trucks, the entire premise is racist and stereotypical. Especially throwing in that Art Jones has a heavy accent. And you don't have to be burly to work on a garbage truck. You need to reformulate that question. It implies that someone with a thick accent can be associated with working on a garbage truck. I struggled with that question and may have picked Art since he was burly - but again - you don't have to be burly to work on a garbage truck. The accent part kept tripping me up and I thought it was a trick because that inserted racism into the question. Please consider what I am saying in the test for the criteria of who should be sent in. AND, the scenario where you sent Norma in as undercover, the test says the average employee is male, white, over 50. You sent in the exact opposite of that! A white 30 year old woman. So that misleads the person studying the test, to presume that you need to send in the exact opposite!

I thought there could have been a little more emphasis as "determining their is a policy in force" as a preliminary step in claims handling. It was noted round about. But the steps incepting a claim investigation could have been a little more steadfast in presentation. You probably cover it better in another course is my guess. All good overall.. I also like the way you teach broadly, but then tend to focus more on what is actually relevant in the real world for testing purposes.

These final exam questions are extremely difficult to read, not only are some poorly written but they are also very lengthy and so hard to process. Some are fairly easy but the fact that you cannot see which questions you got wrong is extremely frustrating. Taking the chapter quizzes should have been enough. But overall the course was ok.

Questions should be adjusted to specific positions and what they actually work not just what a general adjuster needs. Unless i decide to work in injury i will never use that information. Instead additional information towards my actual claim handling could have been added in or even expanded on in more detail.

It looks like the funny writer did the questions for this quiz too, shout-out to them. While I don't work in claims, I feel like I can use this information in coaching the customer service reps I assist in explaining the claims process, and why we can't say over the phone if a "what if" loss would be covered.

Having the information in read it to me and being able to read along helps me with comprehesion and retention. "2" senses are being used (#3 taste - can't taste it-don't want to!).
The time listed as having to complete seems longer than necessary. I understand the credit hours, however, some of the required time in the section was longer than necessary. On a case by case basis I can see where some many need more time and others less, however it feels wasteful to have to wait a clock out so you can proceed with the next section/tests. Just my thoughts. Thanks.

Typo in Question 11 for the final exam: "Assuming an insured*sic (SHOULD BE INSURER) is legally responsible to pay damages to insured party as the result of an auto accident which of the following injuries most likely has the highest settlement value"
The course was informative however the way some of it was worded made it hard to understand what was trying to be presented/defined and had to be read over several times.
The only thing I had a problem with is, in the read-it-to-me audio some heteronyms (words that are spelled the same but pronounced differently and mean different things) are pronounced incorrectly for context. (such as the word object, being pronounced OB-ject, instead of ob-JECT)

This is a great source for CE material.
This is the first WebCE course that I have done that I found to be confusing, repetitive and not very helpful. There were paragraphs I would have to read over and over again as they just didn't seem to make sense due to the wording. Some of the questions were silly or ambiguous. Part of the problem is that all your other courses I have done have been excellent. This one was just ... not very good. I did not get out of it what I wanted to, that is what happens in the real world with the fad of policy limit /time limit demands and set ups for bad faith and how to handle with 3rd party vs 1st party. Yes, this was TOUCHED on but the rest of it was just not up to your usual standard.

It would have been helpful to define "sublimits" to property damage so as to be so informed for the utilization in regarding the structural building as well as personal property. And, for jury trial, the individual case method indicated six (6) lay people, which is permissible for a "petit trial" in a federal court. When considering a jury verdict, would not 6-12 lay people comprise a federal court's trial by jury? Just a thought for clarification, it certainly did not affect the outcome of understanding the issues of making an estimate for the individual case estimate reserve method.
At least one of the course quiz answers was incorrect which really messes up the tone of the whole course.

As a long time claim professional, this course was well done and a good reminder on all the aspects of good claim handling.
Quiz and test questions are extremely wordy and highly confusing. No one needs 6 sentences of information (some irrelavent) with several characters having similar names or cartoon names in order to answer a question. I spent 50% of my time condensing the facts of your questions.

I found several type-o's in the material or a few questions that the grammar wasn't clear in understanding what was being asked. For example question number 28 on this exam, who is Devon? The question starts of talking about a person's husband dying in an accident, then starts talking about Devon without identifying who Devon was. I think having someone else other than the creator of the questions, proof read these may uncover these nuances.
Courses indicated as "new" flagged upon purchase as "repeated" within the last 2 years (although they were new courses). Clarification surrounding available courses/applicable courses would be helpful.

The Chapter 2 End of Chapter Review asks questions about information not covered until subsequent chapters. For example it asked about evidence when evidence is not discussed until Ch 3, pertinent communications and how/when they need to be responded to, denial of coverage, and time frame when payment needs to be issued by.
At least one of the scenario questions on the exam seemed a little confusing.
The voice could be less drab or monotone to listen to.

This course had information that i may never encounter unless i was adjusting a claim. It was good to see these scenarios to know where the claims department is coming from when dealing with issues such as these in this course.

Lots of overlap with the Investigation course Exhibit 4.3 refers to a fractured femur but then talks about 2nd surgery to remove hardware from arm. Femur is in the leg.
