A lot of the chapter exams had questions listed more than once.
It was awkward to use. It was constantly logging me out and asking for my password and it didn't always log the time I spent.
more interactive examples
The course I bought had much more content than I thougt possible.
The only thing that distracted me was when the audio voice said conversion it says convoision which with my learning disability was very distracting.
The time kept pausing, and I needed to complete my 20 hours, but it did not advance at all. It was stuck on 19 hours and 11 minutes.
The "read to me" audio is great, but it would help to have a better/less boring voice.
I spotted several typos in the course. Some of the answers were contradictory to the question. I want to continue to practice the final course quiz to continue to learn were I need to improve.
There seem to be quite a bit of questions that are intentionally written to confuse.
I find the content of the class does not adequately prepare the student for the exam.
The course is very confusing. I think it would be beneficial to have more test questions throughout a modular that is more than 5 minutes long. Also, having more illustrations would be helpful. I believe there should be a "tips and tricks" of how to learn/memorize each modular. Since the test questions and multiple choice answers are so "wordy", it would help to look for certain "words" to get the crux of the question/answer. This test was BRUTAL!
It feels like the test questions were extremely repetitive and there were spelling errors. I am not saying it was terrible but there are better ways a person can learn. Also I wish we didn't have to scroll to keep the time. I learn much better when I am focused on what the instructor is saying with my eyes closed or taking notes. I wish there was an auto scroll function that kept your time going. The one thing that was good was the price. I guess for the $20 it cost it was worth it. Some of the language might be a bit too legalese for many to understand. It would be nice if some of the questions or definitions included an explanation or an example.
I I enjoyed watching the videos; they were also helpful.
Navigating through the site to different lessons was not the easiest. The video seemed old and outdated. Font on hovers was very small and also the interaction with it is not optimal. The visuals looked very dated.
This maybe should be re-recorded. There are mis-pronounced words (cease & desits, not desists) as well as saying words like hyphen, underline and underscore. Also it repeats several lines over.
There were a couple of chapters that the audio info was not the same as the written material.
The vides at the end were so beneficail to me! Broke the topics into details I could understand.
There are some typos. You should have a way o report those.
The final exam was way more detailed and difficult than the practice questions throughout the course
The 12 hour requirement in California which forces you to listen for the duration even though you know the material well is ridiculous. what a waste of time
review incorrect answers on final exam....re-take final exam for practice
To improve retention, more interactive videos and exercises should be added.
Multiple exams include the same questions at least twice and the final exam included the same question 3 times. Suggest placing different questions on exams instead of repeats.
The course content was clear, well-structured, and very practical for exam preparation. The material covered key concepts in a concise and easy-to-understand format, which made it efficient to complete. I especially appreciated the organization of the topics and the focus on important concepts that are directly applicable to real-world scenarios. One suggestion for improvement would be to include more interactive examples or real-life case studies to further enhance understanding and engagement. Overall, it was a very valuable learning experience.
There is some repetition, but it helps to embed the ideas in your brain. You can definitely get through the material and mini-exams in much less than 12 hours, but that is what the state requires. Objective achieved for a low price. And their chat support was very helpful!
Great course! To the basics.
The instructional video helped greatly to explain in layman's terms what was in the text of the chapter. The instructor did an excellent job!
It was really good and informative great pre exam
The training is very mundane. I would make it more interactive. Maybe more videos to break up all the reading. More activities as well.
I wold have liked to have more questions to practice, and more exams
The course was clear, easy to follow, and well organized. The material helped reinforce key concepts and the platform was simple to navigate.
The course was very informative. The only thing I would suggest is allowing people to see what they got wrong on the practice test.
some information was outdated.
The structure is kind of iffy in my opinion. It seems like textbook studying, but with my health exam, most of what I studied wasn't really present on it. That being said, I always have learned better by doing vs reading, so maybe that's a contributing factor, but all things considered, it was good. I don't like that there's 4 questions per section to brush up on. Seems very lazily done.
I completed all of the modules in two hours. I then had to just let them roll in the background for another ten hours. I don't know if this is on your end or if its the DOI. Either way, the content was good.
The Read it to me was fast, that I missed to listen to every word But everything else was good thank you.
It doesn't appear that taking Pre-Test exams "counts toward the time in the course". Perhaps I'm wrong, but I believe it should count toward the 20 hours of study required. I like the pre-testing process and being able to learn from seeing the missed questions, etc.
The practice test seemed to cover code and ethics more than the health insurance, never the less it help substantially in both
There are a few videos that did not have sound. Otherwise it was an effective tool.
Excellent course with good visuals and covered the material well. I thought the summaries at the beginning of the chapter, the review at the end of the chapters, and the video reviews at the end were excellent. The one opportunity for improvement is that I swear that some of the practice exam question topics were not covered in the course at all. Some of the questions included topics that I had never heard of and yes, I paid attention during the entire course.
i liked how you had the videos
I think that the headlining of the sections in each lesson could use some work. It was sometimes hard to distinguish new sections and paragraphs when the headliners ranged from large and bold font, to small and italicized font, then back to bold. It would be easier to get through the larger walls of text. Overall this was a very informative course.
Very informative and easy to understand
Material was clearly presented and learning objectives cogent. However, when it came to reviewing and testing subject material, the questions presented were unclear and confusing. Often times there were multiple answers that would have been sufficient for the question at hand. Instead of coming up with testing material that would make a student review the knowledge of which he had learned, often times it felt like the questions were meant to confuse and or trick the student. The course is great, but the testing it needs to be reviewed and or restructured completely. Also, the test questions are nothing like the actual state exam.
This was hard
Key points were the most helpful to reiterate a dense chapter. Only criticism is there were several duplicate questions. It's helpful if you know the answer, but if you don't know then you automatically fail the chapter quiz as 2 questions drops you below 70%.
Some of the videos seem outdated.
One of the questions had a half-truthful non-answer. "who determines unfair trade practices", is not the governor, the commissioner, the guarantee association, or any consumer board. The state legislature does. The commissioner can enforce them, but he does not "determine what is unfair trade practice". It was impossible to correctly answer this question. A couple questions felt like it was not directly covered.
Practice exams were mildly helpful, but the flash cards weren't worth the investment. It seemed like the actual exam covered a lot of curriculum not even broached in the practice exams. The best feature of the course is the AI helper. I used it a ton. Last thing, it would be so helpful to allow keyboard shortcuts (like arrow buttons) for navigating the practice exam questions.
Good information and easy to follow. Highly recomended also great price.
This test was extremely hard I feel I need to keep studying
I am always impressed with the quality of the products offered
The spelling and grammatical errors were frequent and numerous enough to be distracting.
Web Ce provides excellent content
The system kept logging me out in an untimely manner. Time tracking was clunky and it seemed I spent way more time on sections than necessary due to the clunky tracking mechanism
Content is outdated or inconsistent with market norms and terminology
I really enjoyed the practice questions. Everything asked of me, was perfectly laid out in the lesson before me. Everything was easy to understand and wording wasn't too complicated to understand!
The course was very informative and easy to follow along I really liked watching the videos.
I loved that you go back and review as much as you needed to but would like to be able to slow down the audio as I like to take my time when reading something that I want to retain!
Some of the verbiage was unclear. It was sort of vague in raged to the exact answer; it more so gave a best right overall answer.
Longer chapter tests to include more information that was reviewed. The longer the chapter the longer the test.
Definitions were often unhelpful or inadequate. The hyperlinks for definitions merely restated, nearly word-for-word, the primary definition given for a term, making the hyperlinks mostly useless to read. There was not any rewording of concepts to help grasp terms and material better. The definitions often seemed inadequate, which made the textbook more difficult to understand. In contrast, however, it was very clearly and concisely written, and was organized very well.
The learning material could be more engaging, to decrease the likelihood of getting bored/distracted.
It is good that jargon is used in this professional context, however, try to provide some simple examples or rephrase them in simpler words. This is especially important for a course like this where a beginner might start.
Train the AI voice to read the words correctly during the read to me audio option. There were a few instances where he said the wrong form of words such as lives.
Some of the practice questions seemed to have typos. Overall it’s a great course.
My only complaint for some of the chapters is the length, some chapters taking a whole hour or more to listen to and/or read is very mind numbing and it would help more to take those hour long sections and split them into 20-30 minute sections
A lot of repetitive quiz questions which did NOT help.
The AI voice can sound a bit more realistic instead of robotic.
The exam was good. I have learn so many thing from here.
I would like the option to go back and study certain courses and review them without having to go through the automated process.
It would be helpful if the test told you what questions you actually got wrong. Not just the section that was wrong.
Some of the content description was not clear and seemed conflicting with some other parts of the content.
The practice questions are nothing like the actual test questions nor are there practice questions for anyone to know if they are fully understanding the lesson there should be at least 20 practice questions per section
Loved the audio feature. So helpful to be able to listen in the care or wherever it was appropriate. Thank you!
I really enjoyed the read it to me audio feature.
The voice that reads the course information is very boring. A real person's voice that has more inflection would help keep the student's attention. I eventually started reading the course out loud in order to keep my mind from wondering.
Course was easy, but also did a great job conveying all the necessary information.
The Exceed videos could be better. Have real people read the scripts and have more interactive questions about the insurance topic.
There needs to be a shorter "time" committment for established agents. I read the content and took the practice exams scoring 100% on most. I then had to spend days while trying to complete my regular work schedule with the content running in "read it to me" mode in the background in order to get the required time in to take the exam. I passed the final exam with a 98%. I am a 25 year agent . This was a colossal waste of time. I get it for new agents but I have been licensed in the state of CA for 20 years, just wanting to convert to a resident license.
3 criticisms- In the chapter exams, often 2 or even 3 of the 4 questions were the same question! Almost word for word! When looking at quiz or test exam results, it took a while for me to figure out that the correct answer was shown in a slightly bolder green font! I'm make that a LOT more distinct in the future! I really couldn't tell what was the CORRECT answer! Make it really stand out! It took me a while to figure out how to use your Glossary! When I clicked on Glossary, it just opened a small window. Only after I messed with it, did I realize the window could be expanded! That held me back a while. Make it more obvious how to use the Glossary. And include a few more terms! (I didn't know what "Lines of Authority" meant, as well as some other terms used in the course.)
My co-worker sitting next to me is taking a course with another provider (Excel?) and she HATES it because it is just page after page of text, no formatting, colors, etc. She says it's really hard to keep focused. She will be using WebCE next time.
It would be easier if the test told you what questions you got wrong so you knew what to study.
Its just too much info at once like y'all need to summarize a little more cause it would take a lot more than 20 hours to actually read and process all 50 lessons but otherwise not a bad course
I liked how the course was clear and well-organized, which made it easy to follow. The instructor explained difficult topics in a way that was easy to understand, and the examples were useful. Overall, I learned a lot and really appreciated the course.
I enjoyed the course.
Exams after exams
In some courses, the read-it-to-me option would break up or go totally silent. I also misunderstood the full process of taking the final course exam. I think it could be clearer at the bottom of the chapters and course material somehow. I took the practice exam multiple time over the course of a week to prepare for the state exam without realizing I needed to take a final exam on here.
was tough! I really liked the use of the simulated exams. I found that to be the most beneficial as well as the flash cards. However, I think the flash cards could be made even better if there was a way to shuffle the remaining cards that have not been removed yet.
Upon finishing the course material, there should be a clear option to return to practice exams before continuing to the final exam.
The course is great. Easy to follow and understand. There are some typos on some pages, aside from that, it is a good course.
This course was great, Thank you.
There are misspellings and other errors in the course material in addition to poor grammar.
I have add and timed test stink for people like me!
I wish the questions for study (practice exams) matched more of what the actual exam was. I was suprised by how the exam questions were much different than the actual exam.
There are multiple typos and grammatical errors within the content.
The Health insurance study guide doesn’t align well with the exam questions on the exams
Create more visually appealing content. It felt like a lot of just words I think using charter tables or other ways to display the info would be helpful.
Did not like not having an instructor (even through a chat feature) to ask questions to. It was so much information and not all of it is on on the exam. Lack of visuals for those who are visual learners is inequitable as is not providing real world examples.
I really liked the audible portion. It allowed me to engage two inputs (auditory and visual). I’m mostly visual in learning, but the auditory portions was a plus. The flash cards were helpful also.
This course is very helpful, and I liked how clear and easy to follow the lessons were. It would be even better with more real-life examples and interactive activities.
There are way too many mistakes and the organization is poor and too much information is duplicated in separate chapters.
Practice exam questions did not tackle learning experience for the actual exam as much.
I did notice a few typos. It also seemed that one exam question during the course chapters was contradictory to the material. The course would also mention terms that it did not define. Some of which were circled back to later in the course, but others I had to look up the definition while taking the course.
The workbook is poorly worded along with several test questions.
This area needs more real life examples and problem solving for the students.
The practice exam and actual exam questions did not line up material wise well.
I have learnt so many things from this course . It will help me a lot to work in the healthcare sector .
The AI voice is monotonous
The information regarding IRA penalties is correct for 2023 and earlier. However, the information is not up to date with the passing of the SECURE Act.
I found the first sessions to be very boring. Maybe they could be broken up with graphics or some way to make them more interactive and enjoyable.
I would suggest more interactive or visual portions to the tests. The practice tests are great. The tests didn't match the final test I took in the end, I would say add more parity within the two for higher scoring.
The only reason I rated an 8 on likelihood of ordering educational products from WebCE again is because of my age & responsibilities. I am sole care-giver for my husband who is legally blind and I honestly am not sure when I will be able to devote this much time to study in the future, The course was exceptional and the format was perfect for some one my age. Thank you!
I would like to know what questions i had wrong
chapter/topic flash cards would rally help. breaking down the chapters foe me to be able to take quizzes.
this course content was very helpful and relevant to push you in studying .
You guys did an amazing job. This course was simple and fun. I enjoyed listening as well as reading all the content. Thank you very much for a great experience and for the valuable information!
a little more detail would be helpful on how to navigate
I noticed allot of typos (misspelled words, commas instead of periods). and on the first exam there was a question that I didn't know because it was covered in the next course.
Adding more questions after each course to review each section.
There is a typo on question 45. Instead of spelling Best b-e-s-t it is misspelled bet b-e-t.
the content in the exam was not featured/highlighted in the material
Many of the questions in the certificate exam were not in any of the chapter review questions. The chapter review questions were crystal clear and cycled back verbatim, so it was comfortable to study. The certificate exam questions, however, were often misleading and worded poorly and unclearly. They made taking the course and studying the course review questions practically pointless. But I did pass.
More interactive questions as we read through the content. Less wordy information, point a to b learning style
Ilike I really like that there are quizzes after each chapter,Which is a good summary of the chapter? Thanks
Good course-There are some typos in the Health section early on that can cause some errors-Insured is actually spelled out as Insurer
I think more multiple choice quick checks interspersed in the chapter materials would help with retention.
The 12 hour timeline was the hardest to complete as it took less time. But I understand that it was a requirement. Would have been nice to have more videos that would help complete the time requirement.
The course is very helpful and easy to navigate. However, due to amount of details being absorbed, flash cards for each section would definitely help with defining the most important parts of each section.
this was my first time using the online course material and I was pleasantly surprised. Very thorough, yet easy to retain.
There are a few typos in the course.
The content though some of it repeated itself, it was frustrating and challenging to understand it.
The only suggestion I have is to upgrade the read it to me voice. with AI now you can get much better voices. i just used the EDGE browser option to read the content to me. it did okay. would be better if created directly by the course and replace the voice option available in the course.
On the final exam there was a weird amount of health/life questions not applicable to Medicare material
video instructors were very helpful
While I scored 100% on most of the section quizzes, I was stumped by many of the questions in the exam and feel very unprepared for the test. There are some fine nuances that are just casually mentioned, when expanding on it and providing examples would be beneficial.
Thank you, now I need to study some more before the CAlifornia STATE EXAM...I GOT THIS! Thank you!
Second time I have gone through it (let my license lapse years ago) still the same so not sure why it increased in price but overall still very solid (hence why I took it again).
The course was great. The only thing is that the audio was too fast. Wished I could control the speed and another thing, wished the pages would go up as you follow the audio. Other than that, it was great.
Course questions are not worded in a way that I could understand what is being asked.
For some reason the main final quiz did not provide any state law questions. As this is a major part of the testing I would have liked to see that integrated. I know they are in the practice exams, but having them in everything would be helpful.
It would be nice if the audio was able to highlight the words as it reads the material. I also did care for the fact that it was hard to simply jump between chapters. Also, a word search feature might be a great job aid when attempting to find very specific references inside the material. You don't offer that capability.
I liked the key points and videos
The course material did not include enough information by itself (without outside experience or study) to answer the exam questions. If I had only had exposure to the course material and no real life experience I wouldn't have been able to answer a great deal of the deeper dive, specific annuity or life insurance questions. I do not feel completely prepared for the State exam even though I passed this pre-requisite certification exam.
Some typing errors and omissions. Several questions are either ambiguously stated or incorrect. Otherwise great!
The course was very good. Audio when i attempted to have the information read to me was very robotic and made it difficult to follow along. Having the audio sound actually conversational would be extremely helpful.
Having to sit at the computer for 40 hours even though I completed the material in 12 hours was ridiculous.
course with more prcticle eaxamples are going to give more understanding and practical application in the field when helping real customers
The lessons seemed excessive and convoluted. Too much info to digest and then the exam not cover all that was presented nor the practice exam
The videos were insightful and brought the information into a perspective in which was reasonably fare to understand.
Chapter summary videos are VERY helpful!
The summary videos and key points were extremely helpful
Some of the questions were framed differently than the study guide
good exam
Some of the content of the questions on the tests are not covered until the next section.
I think this class is a lot to take in and a lot to read. I think it would be more beneficial if their were videos throughout and longer than they ones they have at the end of each chapter. To feel confident to take the end of the course exam I had to use a lot of outside study materials including buying a book on amazon as well as watch youtube videos. Truthfully I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone.
I would like to download the ebook of the course and an over review of all chapters at the end would be nice too since it more then 40 chapters.
Having a Questions Bank that you can review and retake over and over again until one was secure with the content is preferred.
Video presenter made frequently garbled words and sometimes mistated something and had to restate a point, making it difficult to simply absorb what was being presented. The AI-Voice Reader was a low quality product, making it difficult to learn and retain the conent; a higher quality AI-Voice Product would enhance learning significantly! The questions are sometimes worded differently than it was stated in the content. The main points highlighted in the video presentation were not relevant to the final exam, making them a waste of time. What would be more helpful is a restating of each legal concept at a 5th-grade reading level.
I liked the videos. I would love for there to be more videos and slideshows with them as well
I found many questions on pre test and test that was not in the course.
It would be nice to be able to review questions I missed
I just wish it was simplified a little bit
The only downside to the course is the time limit to the course material, after paying for the course it would be nice to get free access to just the book material itself for longer than three months or permanently , even without the access to tutor/flashcards/test taking features. Or sent a book with the purchase besides workbook that contains more detail of the content in the course. besides that the course is extremely straightforward and is easy to navigate, goes into detail and gives key objectives for the exam which are very helpful.
Some of the questions were worded ambigously and subjectively. For example, questions like "what policy would be BEST for Judy?" leaves a lot open for interpretation and without knowing other factors that might be involved in helping her make the best decision.
After the exam, only grading is provided but not the actual answers were provided. It is hard for me to revise what mistakes I made
Some of the questions did not have defined answers in the provided materials, and some of the terms were not in the glossary.
Very time consuming. Ability to review exam correct and incorrect answers to further knowledge before the real test.
The timer doesnt reflect the "read it to me" when i finished the "read it to me" I still had ten hours of required time to spend on the course.....i watched it twice and still had to watch more........ either fix the timer or go more in depth...or give credit when you complete the audio recordings for 20 hours...... this was terrible and you lost me here
I personally enjoy shorter chapters, even if there is a larger number of chapters to complete. If there was a way to break up the State specific regulations into multiple chapter, I would have dreaded them a lot less.
Sometimes the questions asked were not covered in chapter and it is something implied through the lesson that one should know but if you never had any experience in this you wouldnt know. if that makes sense. If you could when reviewing practice license test questions that you could click on the chapter of of test questions to review that chapter. instead you have to exit exam to go to chapter. It would make it easier to review. Thank you
I have done the P&C, Life, and Health now, and I have to say that the man who did the videos at the end of the lessons in the Life and Health was way better than the P&C guy
More than four questions at the end of each chapter.
It took more than 40 hours to complete the course. It would be great if you get feedback on what your Exam question as to what you answered incorrectly because it will enhance the learning material more effectively. Course can be overwhelming because the atudy guide should have more exam like questions.
You could update the read to me voice with an AI voice that would be less robotic.
Would appreciate a captions option on videos as well as the ability to increase the speed to said videos.
Multiple Practice exams. More than 4 questions after each chapter
I don’t think it was enough information regarding content; need to break down terms especially if not experienced with life insurance policies. Face to face class is also good for those who have questions. I got a 71 percent. What happens if I failed this exam?
the amount of information is fine and the fast facts and key points help to drill key points but im finding that the exam questions and key points i studied didnt have alot in common in some cases where information i needed was only in the text itself. I think a flashcard system at the end of each major section that essentially went over the exam as you did the course would have made my score much higher. thanks
