The time kept pausing, and I needed to complete my 20 hours, but it did not advance at all. It was stuck on 19 hours and 11 minutes.
The course is very confusing. I think it would be beneficial to have more test questions throughout a modular that is more than 5 minutes long. Also, having more illustrations would be helpful. I believe there should be a "tips and tricks" of how to learn/memorize each modular. Since the test questions and multiple choice answers are so "wordy", it would help to look for certain "words" to get the crux of the question/answer. This test was BRUTAL!
I mostly liked how I could customize practice exams. Some of the study guide sections could use more room for notes (ie, additional pages for the state-specific materials / topics).
Some of the questions were asked in a manner that could really confuse the reader. There were quit a few questions that took more thought to understand the question than answer the material.
Make it more smart phone user friendly.
the questions asked in the practice test were repeated to a point that I learned the answer by the question and not the material. Some of the questions were awful and seemed like a bad AI wrote it with no QA (like a "friend group of quilters" applying for group health - not eligible because they are not an association, but the "correct" answer was based on group). Many examples. Once I took the test the question format on the test was nothing like the practice tests in the program. There were several things asked in the real test that the practice tests never covered. WebCE encouraged me to push to learn to take the test so I could get out of it.
It might be nice to include more instructional video and with diagrams and varied illustrations. It would break the monotony of just reading the material. Perhaps watching animation and or diagrams could be optional. Thanks.
the course material was all over the place. Terminology that was not discussed was used in chapters not discussing it. The reading was way too fast even at its slowest setting. The chapters began with a summary that was complex and confusing, raising many unanswered questions only to have the material discussed from basic to hardest afterwards... that should be backwards, do a quick overview, teach from basic to hardest, and finalize with a summary that is comprehensive. the order of the chapters were not congruent most of the time. I am able to read legal lingo easily in contracts as i have higher education. Yet this course was very frustrating as it did not make sense most of the time.
The vides at the end were so beneficail to me! Broke the topics into details I could understand.
The final exam was way more detailed and difficult than the practice questions throughout the course
I did not feel like some of the questions on the exam were fair with education given in lesson.
review incorrect answers on final exam....re-take final exam for practice
To improve retention, more interactive videos and exercises should be added.
I thought the quizes between chapters were very helpful. I also enjoyed the Practice exams however, I took over 20 practice exams and there were many questions that were repeated over and over. I think it would be more beneficial to candiates if there were more variety of questions even it means just switching, numbers, names, etc.
The course content was clear, well-structured, and very practical for exam preparation. The material covered key concepts in a concise and easy-to-understand format, which made it efficient to complete. I especially appreciated the organization of the topics and the focus on important concepts that are directly applicable to real-world scenarios. One suggestion for improvement would be to include more interactive examples or real-life case studies to further enhance understanding and engagement. Overall, it was a very valuable learning experience.
The audio was not updated to 2026. It would reference 2025 information (example- Contribution limits). A few of the chapters had audio that did not match the text, one chapter seemed to have the correct audio, but the incorrect text.
Las explicaciones
different questions on the final exam
The instructional video helped greatly to explain in layman's terms what was in the text of the chapter. The instructor did an excellent job!
It was really good and informative great pre exam
Since there's so many chapters, I would recommend allowing at least 6 months to complete the course as most adults are so busy to spend a lot of time retaining the information.
garbage course. practice questions were duplicates and out dated. videos were dry
The videos at the end of each section were very helpful to provide context and real word applications and examples.
The structure is kind of iffy in my opinion. It seems like textbook studying, but with my health exam, most of what I studied wasn't really present on it. That being said, I always have learned better by doing vs reading, so maybe that's a contributing factor, but all things considered, it was good. I don't like that there's 4 questions per section to brush up on. Seems very lazily done.
Thank you WebCE for this experience in studying and getting my certificate.
I haven't been in school for about 7 years and coming onto this program allowed for easy note taking, its very structured and the information was very useful, I enjoyed the "for your review" sections and the ending summary video. nothing much to improve, having the pretest option was incredibly useful.
There are a few videos that did not have sound. Otherwise it was an effective tool.
Excellent course with good visuals and covered the material well. I thought the summaries at the beginning of the chapter, the review at the end of the chapters, and the video reviews at the end were excellent. The one opportunity for improvement is that I swear that some of the practice exam question topics were not covered in the course at all. Some of the questions included topics that I had never heard of and yes, I paid attention during the entire course.
i liked how you had the videos
Material was clearly presented and learning objectives cogent. However, when it came to reviewing and testing subject material, the questions presented were unclear and confusing. Often times there were multiple answers that would have been sufficient for the question at hand. Instead of coming up with testing material that would make a student review the knowledge of which he had learned, often times it felt like the questions were meant to confuse and or trick the student. The course is great, but the testing it needs to be reviewed and or restructured completely. Also, the test questions are nothing like the actual state exam.
I wish I would have had the ability to review the questions I missed on the practice exam.
This was hard
I had an excellent experience on the Life/Health/Accident production course. However in the future separation of the subjects would be nice, broken up by a 20 question review test. Thank you so much!
This course was very helpful and informative.
Some of the wording was written very oddly, but I presume this has to do with the nature of compliance based language.
was able to navigate pretty easily and complete the testing provided
I felt the practice test questions were way easier than the content covered on the actual course test
I really enjoyed the practice questions. Everything asked of me, was perfectly laid out in the lesson before me. Everything was easy to understand and wording wasn't too complicated to understand!
It should be allowed to review all of the exam questions to continue learning objectives. This exam was not similar to the practice exams
It should be allowed to review exam questions to continue learning objectives
Definitions were often unhelpful or inadequate. The hyperlinks for definitions merely restated, nearly word-for-word, the primary definition given for a term, making the hyperlinks mostly useless to read. There was not any rewording of concepts to help grasp terms and material better. The definitions often seemed inadequate, which made the textbook more difficult to understand. In contrast, however, it was very clearly and concisely written, and was organized very well.
It would be beneficial to have more than 90-days with this content.
Train the AI voice to read the words correctly during the read to me audio option. There were a few instances where he said the wrong form of words such as lives.
The course was good, it provided the required/necessary information. It was a bit bland/boring. Perhaps more interactive videos or end of section tests before moving on to another category within the training. i.e. Health Insurance exam, Life insurance exam etc
The way some of the questions were worded was confusing. The definitions on the flashcards would be a lot more helpful if they were an actual definition or more explanatory. Some of the definitions had the terms in the sentence provided.
The AI voice can sound a bit more realistic instead of robotic.
There were some grammatical errors in the course I took from WebCE.
I would like the option to go back and study certain courses and review them without having to go through the automated process.
It would be helpful if the test told you what questions you actually got wrong. Not just the section that was wrong.
Some of the wording in the mini quiz after each chapter was confusing. Overall, everything was helpful in completing the required excercises.
It's surprising that you are preparing me for the roll out of the ACA program, which is in the process of being defunded 10 years later while I am preparing to take this exam.
I disliked the fact that I had to take the test over 4 times because I was SO CLOSE TO passing. Couldn't figure out what I kept getting wrong that I could not pass the first couple times being just 1 or two points off from70 %.
I really liked the course the information was thorough.
me gusto la enseñanza y lo mucho que pude aprender
I really enjoyed the read it to me audio feature.
The voice that reads the course information is very boring. A real person's voice that has more inflection would help keep the student's attention. I eventually started reading the course out loud in order to keep my mind from wondering.
I liked the live videos
I like the course, it helps me prepare for the exam.
The Exceed videos could be better. Have real people read the scripts and have more interactive questions about the insurance topic.
There were a few things it took me a while to figure out. LIke, while reviewing exams I got wrong, it took me a while to figure out that you highlighted the right answers in a slightly bolded green font. This should be MUCH more conspicuous!
Its just too much info at once like y'all need to summarize a little more cause it would take a lot more than 20 hours to actually read and process all 50 lessons but otherwise not a bad course
a little more organized. but overall I enjoyed it and was easy to navigate
I liked how the course was clear and well-organized, which made it easy to follow. The instructor explained difficult topics in a way that was easy to understand, and the examples were useful. Overall, I learned a lot and really appreciated the course.
The only area of improvement I would like to mention is to this question: How effective did you find the presentation and format of the course material? I scored it at 3 because I found that the course questions were much easier than that on the final exam. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the course. Thank you.
was tough! I really liked the use of the simulated exams. I found that to be the most beneficial as well as the flash cards. However, I think the flash cards could be made even better if there was a way to shuffle the remaining cards that have not been removed yet.
Upon finishing the course material, there should be a clear option to return to practice exams before continuing to the final exam.
Me gustó mucho la explicación ; se me hizo más fácil enteder
Some of the questions were worded in a way that could be easily confusing
Please provide more options for practice test and better answer analysis. SO reading heavy and no application.
Me parecio excelente y muy claro con su contenido
I liked the visual aids such as the charts, the conclusion video lectures and summaries of the chapter coming from the instructor; those were on key. I like the organization of each of the subjects studied and the order it followed. What I didn't like was something probably everybody else dislikes and that is the length of the course; 89 chapters is a bit steep; I noticed some of those chapters were repetitive at times and maybe we could condense it down a couple of chapters; I understand Insurance is a complex subject because it changes on an everyday basis, but it's still a lot of chapters. That's why I had to purchase more time with my course because I have a busy lifestyle, it's a lot of chapters and subject matter. On the other side of the token, I'm glad that these programs exist and I can complete these courses in the comfort of my own home at any available time I might have left during a busy day. Thank You so much.
I truly enjoyed the unlimited times to retake the pratice and simulated exams. Great way to learn on top of the modules. I really enjoyed that the sections can be broken down per exam or at least customizable. Allow to take smallers exams and build up to the big exam.
I did notice a few typos. It also seemed that one exam question during the course chapters was contradictory to the material. The course would also mention terms that it did not define. Some of which were circled back to later in the course, but others I had to look up the definition while taking the course.
The workbook is poorly worded along with several test questions.
It would be great to have a course textbook for the course and be able to highlight and underline some important, key points to it.
Too many questions use a 'typical' number or example, but in-play it can be very much policy dependent. Additionally, the videos were a fantastic source and would have enjoyed seeing Midwest-Man at the end of each chapter.
The information regarding IRA penalties is correct for 2023 and earlier. However, the information is not up to date with the passing of the SECURE Act.
The course was very helpful and informal.
chapter/topic flash cards would rally help. breaking down the chapters foe me to be able to take quizzes.
Thank you for such an informative, useful course. The material was concise and not too wordy. Great learning, I will definitely be able to use and apply what I learned!!
I liked how it read the readings to me
I noticed allot of typos (misspelled words, commas instead of periods). and on the first exam there was a question that I didn't know because it was covered in the next course.
Adding more questions after each course to review each section.
Some of the questions were worded a little confusing.
Good course-There are some typos in the Health section early on that can cause some errors-Insured is actually spelled out as Insurer
The AI voice recordings mispronounced many terms/words, making it hard to follow some sections. There were also a couple of times written words seemed to be missing from content.
The content though some of it repeated itself, it was frustrating and challenging to understand it.
The only suggestion I have is to upgrade the read it to me voice. with AI now you can get much better voices. i just used the EDGE browser option to read the content to me. it did okay. would be better if created directly by the course and replace the voice option available in the course.
video instructors were very helpful
WebCe reinforcement videos are annoying because you can't advance them.
The information for the course was good, but it wasn't exactly easy to navigate some areas and some of the information seemed to be fragmented and not clearly stated under one subsection.
The course was great. The only thing is that the audio was too fast. Wished I could control the speed and another thing, wished the pages would go up as you follow the audio. Other than that, it was great.
I believe that a three-hour-long exam is too much for the brain to maintain focus.
We could not see the videos on our work computer. The reading was great and helped me understand better.
ability to search for keywords was extremely difficult, you had to scroll the complete course to find results instead of jumping to them, the read-to-me was very monotone and hard to retain
For some reason the main final quiz did not provide any state law questions. As this is a major part of the testing I would have liked to see that integrated. I know they are in the practice exams, but having them in everything would be helpful.
I liked how the course was divided up into many chapters that were abled to be completed in reasonable time.
I liked the key points and videos
The course material did not include enough information by itself (without outside experience or study) to answer the exam questions. If I had only had exposure to the course material and no real life experience I wouldn't have been able to answer a great deal of the deeper dive, specific annuity or life insurance questions. I do not feel completely prepared for the State exam even though I passed this pre-requisite certification exam.
Some typing errors and omissions. Several questions are either ambiguously stated or incorrect. Otherwise great!
Having to sit at the computer for 40 hours even though I completed the material in 12 hours was ridiculous.
Some kind of better overview of the course. The flash cards are great for showing me things I need to learn but if I would have taken the time to look at the chapter and title layout I would have recognized how life & health insurance similarities and differences. This would have helped me retain the information easier. There is a study plan but I was so busy with limited time to study that retaining the information was my biggest issue.
The lessons seemed excessive and convoluted. Too much info to digest and then the exam not cover all that was presented nor the practice exam
thanks for making this user friendly
The videos were insightful and brought the information into a perspective in which was reasonably fare to understand.
Good course for the cost!
Chapter summary videos are VERY helpful!
Some of the questions were framed differently than the study guide
good exam
Some of the content of the questions on the tests are not covered until the next section.
I think this class is a lot to take in and a lot to read. I think it would be more beneficial if their were videos throughout and longer than they ones they have at the end of each chapter. To feel confident to take the end of the course exam I had to use a lot of outside study materials including buying a book on amazon as well as watch youtube videos. Truthfully I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone.
Excellent and easy to follow layout. Please bring in a proofreader. The typos and missing letters/words are a huge distraction.
I would like to download the ebook of the course and an over review of all chapters at the end would be nice too since it more then 40 chapters.
Having a Questions Bank that you can review and retake over and over again until one was secure with the content is preferred.
Does WebCe provide additional practice questions prior to taking the official exam at the testing center.
I liked the videos. I would love for there to be more videos and slideshows with them as well
i would like to have availability to the exam for more practice even after passing it. i would like to feel more exam ready .
it would be great if AI would be added to this course to help me focus and further explain the concepts that i seem to have an issue comprehending.
Finished the course in 20 hours and had no idea how to kill 20 other hours, it seemed like study material did not apply to time allotment and that should be fixed.
I found many questions on pre test and test that was not in the course.
I still need to test more, please provide me with extended course time period to continue to study for State Exam.
The final exam had many questions that were NOT covered on the practice exams. This is disappointing.
very easy to follow
It would be nice to be able to review questions I missed
It is confusing when state and federal rules conflict and makes it hard to answer questions on the exam. I'm not sure it the true Exam tests for contradictory rules, and if they don't those should not be presented in your exam. I guess i'll find out.
Questions on test were long and hard to comprehend. Terms used in test were different than course material. Ex - instead of using the term Exclusion Rider the test used a term I have never even heard before (impairment rider) and it confused my comprehension. Test took over 3 hours to finish because it was so long and the questions were hard to make sense of. There are also way too many "Gotcha" questions. By this I mean a question that has 2 similar answers but one is worded just mildly different. An example is the question on Medicare where it talks about the split from what the insured pays 20% and what Medicare pays 80%. Though this is a easy question to answer, all one has to do is read it and get the 2 backwards simply because it was read in a way that if you dont double check you can easily get it wrong not by ignorance only by mistake instead and that is not a genuine way to miss a question especially when the test is so dang long that your mind goes number after so many questions being answered.
You need to make this way more interactive and reduce the page length of each chapter. It's a slog to get through just reading one huge text page after another. Look at adjusterpro for how to do online education content right: it's broken down, interactive, and engaging.
I just wish it was simplified a little bit
Correct answer to missed exams questions with rationale should have been given to any question answered incorrectly
I thought the course layout was very user friendly. However, I found that the "SC Practice Exams" really didn't correlate that closely to the final exam. I felt like the final exam was preparing me to become a tax attorney. I was amazed at all the tax related questions.
Some of the questions were worded ambigously and subjectively. For example, questions like "what policy would be BEST for Judy?" leaves a lot open for interpretation and without knowing other factors that might be involved in helping her make the best decision.
Simply love the presentation of the course. I would suggest providing more opportunities to go back to a past lesson if the test score was low.
Very boring. Practice quizzes were not anything like final exam.
The PDF files and the lesson are not enough to study to prepare for the state board exam...i still do not feel prepared. What will help in taking the final exams is providing explanations on test questions the student got wrong even for the final exam.
The practice quizzes within the course are not effective due to the quality of question vs answer.
Some of the material was not proofread very well. Some of the sample chapter test questions were repeated for a reason unknown to me. I feel that the sample tests would have been more valuable if they did not repeat questions. Thank you, however, for an overall pleasant experience. Best wishes!
Very time consuming. Ability to review exam correct and incorrect answers to further knowledge before the real test.
Make the practice test more like the exam
There were plenty of questions on the final exam that were not covered on the class material... luckily I have worked with insurance for a while so I knew the answers but someone new to the industry would not
What I liked most was 1) the blue "example" sections that provided more clarity to the concepts that were somewhat confusing and 2) the short videos at the end of most chapters that provided more clarity on the key concepts.
I personally enjoy shorter chapters, even if there is a larger number of chapters to complete. If there was a way to break up the State specific regulations into multiple chapter, I would have dreaded them a lot less.
Sometimes the questions asked were not covered in chapter and it is something implied through the lesson that one should know but if you never had any experience in this you wouldnt know. if that makes sense. If you could when reviewing practice license test questions that you could click on the chapter of of test questions to review that chapter. instead you have to exit exam to go to chapter. It would make it easier to review. Thank you
More than four questions at the end of each chapter.
I like this course very much
It took more than 40 hours to complete the course. It would be great if you get feedback on what your Exam question as to what you answered incorrectly because it will enhance the learning material more effectively. Course can be overwhelming because the atudy guide should have more exam like questions.
Would appreciate a captions option on videos as well as the ability to increase the speed to said videos.
The course is just very auditory learning and is very difficult for visual learners. also what you all make as important in the lesson is not what you all test on.
Have to figure out something more to do to hit the 40 hours besides the basic content. Any time spent amassing 40 hours as long as basic course is completed should count.
This is the second course I utilized from WebCe and is FAR SUPERIOR to that of a leading competitor. Thank You WebCe
I don’t think it was enough information regarding content; need to break down terms especially if not experienced with life insurance policies. Face to face class is also good for those who have questions. I got a 71 percent. What happens if I failed this exam?
