Thank you
Audio mispronounced several words.
The exam question were more like case studies. They were based more on common sense responses rather than rules and regulations.
It did not have as much content as other WebCE courses I have taken.
The voice reading the text was VERY distracting -- with the off beat inflection
This course is fine for a CPA or accounting professional. It is entirely too detailed about very unique aspects of tax returns when testing CFP professionals.
Excellent introduction to these topics. On a side note though, the author seems to assume that the gig economy and ride-sharing are "good things." True, they do provide some cost savings and easy side income. I've experienced some "gig-people who were very confused by the tax implications. Neighbors do not necessarily appreciate AIRBNB participants.
Clear and effective learning materials
Very ethical of you to offer an unlimited program. After all the goal is to encourage learning. Thanks
Excellent Course!
GOOD FOCUS. I WISH THERE WAS MORE OBBBA FORWARD-LOOKING MATERIAL IN THIS COURSE, HOWEVER, YOU OFFER ONEINDEPENDENTLY, AND THIS PARTICULAR COURSE WAS PREPARED TIMELY FOR 2025 RETURNS, OS I THINK YOU DID VERY WELL WITH WHAT YOU WERE GIVEN TO WORK WITH. EXCELLENT JOB, AND THANKS FOR THE ADDITIONAL COURSEWORK THAT BUILDS ON THIS!
The test questions is hard to find in the notes.
Well organized and practical examples
This was a good course and I learned a few things.
I like the Course, Thanks!
I think the audio reads too fast.
gave very thorough examples on due diligence requirements
good class but would like to see more courses offered through out the year
Thank you.
Circular 230 is an in depth subject. Thanks you for make it easy to learn and understand. Great course.
The course gave me great insight on ethics for tax professionals!
I learned very useful information!
Always get my quality certifications!
The complexity of the test was completely different than previous years, too many callculations and similiar answers that could have been correct
I've used this course for 14 years now and I absolutely love it. Thanks so much!
Web CE is reasonable priced, quality products and reports quickly.
Some of the questions and the reference Chapter noted on the question was not correct. For example questions relating to the Direct File were in Chapter 1 and not Chapter 7.
I really appreciate the "Read-it-to-me audio". Didn't know how much until I took the 2026 Annual Federal Tax Refresher course that did not have this feature. There are a few subjects that I would dearly love to see CE courses available for. If/when you provide CE for Truck drivers returns, NOLs, AMT, and certain (OR, CA, NM, NY, LA) individual state returns, I will be first in line to order them.
GREAT COURSE
On question 5 the use of the term sanctioned for his dumb error of paying the 941 taxes timley would I'm sure at best have only penalty and interest to pay unless it was a chronic problem with the preparer.
SATISFIED
Sometimes it was not so easy to identify the answers in the provided material.
I've been using WebCE for years and I'm very pleased with the material
Great quality!
VERY EASY TO FOLLOW AND CHECK YOURSELF IF YOUR NOT SURE
All good.
I like the course, material provided. The enable reading audio was a plus. I think we could benefit of more real life examples, more like todays date situations.
I like that I can read at my own pace and make notes. I don't have to wait for the time clock to move on as I'm a fast reader.
Very Informational
I had limited knowledge of the gig economy for tax preparation purposes.
The course is very well organized with good examples and very easy to understand.
Especially this year, there were a great deal of changes to tax law. I feel you spent too much time explaining what the old law were before going into what the new law is. I already know what the old law is, so a simple rehash, perhaps under the heading "Current Law" would be sufficient
The course was a lot harder than I expected with all the various tax form and line item reporting. It confirmed to me that I have no desire to become a CPA and why a CFP Professional should always defer to a qualified tax advisor on tax related issues, especially charitable contributions and donations.
pls update to make smooth transitions from your older original course with the currently added materials, to display in your course summaries
easy to operate the course
it is very userfriendly and nicely covered
Bee n using the software for years and this was the hardest class I have had in a long time
I was told this course would cover all of the Big Beautiful Act. It sisn't
Issues with the technology for during the practice portion some of my answers I selected, were recorded under a different letter. For example, I would select A and instead it was recorded as C or D. Also, the questions on the exam should be worded better.
QUICK AND SIMPLE
Excellent course content
Good value and topics updated for current tax law OBBB
I like the audio.
Thanks was good to have options
Course was great.
A narrater that is a bit more engaging would help.
Quality and clarity of updated course materials, videos and course presen tations
EXCELLENT INFORMATION.
Very helpful update for so many new tax rule changes
Concise, clear, relevant and well organized.
I have been using Web CE for 10 years. I think the program is very good. It has a variety of topics that are needed. I will continue using them for as long as I need to do continuing education
easy to understand
little pricy for individuals to keep their license active
Very nice
Better and more examples of problems leading to sanctions and related penalties for violations would enhance the content
Even there were just 10 questions - they were quite tricky. I did have to go back to review the chapters.
The course fully met my expectations, providing a clear and thorough explanation of the laws, rules, and regulations governing tax preparation.
Great course!
Excellent course
Question No. 38 on this 45 question exam is not answerable based on the review material presented.
Material did not seem to flow in order. It jumped from one thought to another thought and was hard to follow. However, overall good education.
This course was a much-needed refresher for me. With the passing of OBBBA, many new changes have been made to the tax laws. This course was excellent start to these changes. I like it because it was good eye opener between Federal and State rules.
It isn't until digging into the course you soon find out how much you don't know. The simple's topic becomes a challenging one. With recent changes in this category of employment, as a tax preparer one frequently is asked how to keep records and logs as an Independent Contractor. This was an excellent course.
This year the course was a little harder to go through but was able to again learn more than from where I started. For this reason, I like this course.
Great suppott staff
Some of the practice questions and exam questions did not provide enough detail to confirm an answer. Often had to make assumptions to select an answer. Also, the chapter descriptions were not helpful for going back and trying to review a specific topic. It was easier to search the IRS website and tax return forms to clarify my understanding of a topic to be able to answer practice questions rather than review the course materials that were sometimes oddly organized and difficult to reference.
This was an excellent refresher course and serves as a reminder of our responsibility as a tax professional.
GOOD SO FAR
lots of the questions were not current answers needed to be reinvestigated
Great investment of my time.
Overall, I was satisfied with the course. My only compliant is that I found it sexism that the narrative assumed that the ride-sharing drivers are "he." I understand using gender specific pronouns in the examples based on the names of the individuals in the examples. However, in the body where there is no specific person or example, it would be best to use gender neutral pronouns, like they OR s/he.
The best CE in town!
i LOVE LOVE LOVE webce!
I really liked that there was audio with the lessons because I would read on my own and then listen to the audio to make sure I understood and read it correctly
The Discourse platform is not user-friendly and requires an excessive amount of time to complete tasks. It took me over forty hours to get through the questions and answers, which made the process unnecessarily burdensome. The questions were also quite difficult and not well-suited for efficient completion. Based on this experience, I do not plan to participate again next year and would not recommend this program to others.
The Case Studies are great.
Very informative.
It seemed like a few questions were tricked questions Overall it was good courses
Provide more case studies. Thank you
The exam questions and the text did not go together
Would like more on out-of-pocket expenses for charities, less on donated property. Otherwise, it was fine.
Used this company for years!
One of your sample answers is incorrect. You ignopred a negative for a positive.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Enjoyed taking the course. It was very informative.
Take an extremely long amount of time to complete. It took me over10 hours to go over the material and complete the examination Questions. I took the exam three times before I pass. The first two times I almost passed by 64% both times. I got 16 questions right out of 25. The answers to those questions are not in the course material.
Ridiculous pronoun usage added unnecessary confusion as to whether I was dealing with a couple or individual. Keep the woke nonsense and poor grammar out of the education.
keep up the good work...
I have been taking this course for years and like the audio and practice tests
For this module, "Gigs & Taxes - CETC" I take exception to question 3 which begins..."Uber launches robotaxi services..." My interpretation of that question is ad advertisement/promotion for Uber and the answers are fully subjective. All four answers could be correct. After studying the possible choices it became clear that the person who wrote the query was making more of a political statement (benefits of EV's, etc.) than anything that has to do with the subject at hand... taxes and tax code implementation. All four answers could be accurate (and quite frankly, are). Uber of course wants to reduce their labor cost (answer A). Of course Uber prefers arbitration rather than litigation (answer B). The whole Uber business model is dependent on expanding into traditional taxi markets (answer C). Which leads to my bottom line: Did someone at Uber contribute to the source material and write that question? Seems highly likely.
The course does not discuss tax treatment of shared housing. How do you report someone renting only one room in a big house? and how it is reported if it was rented for short times only? depreciation? expanses? etc. Also, you don't mentioned the supplement statement that Uber gives the drivers with all the fees. It's an expanse that the drivers can take but the tax expert has to ask the client for this statement so they can deduct the expanses.
I found the text often confusing. I found wrong answers. There is way too much material that is duplicated. I have taken many previous courses and this one is definitely of less quality. The test was also not clear. I missed 3 and I think I should have missed 1.
I think that a couple of questions on the test that were marked incorrect, were actually correct. I wish that I would be given the correct answer because I can't figure out why I got it wrong.
On the final exam, question 5, letter D, has a typo - it is missing Schedule C. It currently says "Schedules and EC." I knew the answer, and the other three options were not correct.
Please look at the answer for Question 5 about making $11,500 for the year. I believe there is a letter missing in the correct answer. I think it should be Schedule "C" and SE.
The course was great. The only improvement I would suggest is boiling down the cluster of words used and be simple and straight-forward to make it even easier to understand.
Case studies to illustrate concepts were very helpful
It was hard to follow text that is intentionally using incorrect pronouns. They/Their are PLURAL pronouns, NOT a gender identifiers! This is difficult to navigate when one needs to identify joint couples verses individuals. Seems as though the editor wants to push an agenda to change the English language, rather then promote understanding of the material. Very disappointing! Also, I found the questions to be disproportionate to certain topics, rather than a comprehensive exam.
the audio could be a little less monotoned
I feel this course was at a far higher level than my position requires, or is allowed to use. I cannot give tax advice, nor is it in my field. I felt largely overwhelmed by the course.
Interesting topic. Easy to tie exam back to course content
A lot of material - could be condensed.
I really like there are lots of examples to illustrate your points to help me digest the education concepts
