Overview
BOPs are to commercial lines insurance what homeowners policies are to personal lines insurance. BOPs provide broad coverage in a package policy for many of the property and liability exposures faced by small businesses, but they usually do not address all insurance needs. Additional small business insurance needs usually include auto liability and physical damage insurance and workers compensation insurance. Many small businesses also need professional liability insurance and umbrella liability coverage under separate policies.
This course addresses the insurance coverages commonly used to address the property and liability exposures of small businesses.
