2023-2024 Core A 3D Rules: Disclose, Disclose, Disclose!

Overview

This course, which was created by the Hawaii Real Estate Commission, focuses on licensees' important disclosure duties and is part of the six hours of required CE for 2023. The course provides an overview of recent legislative updates that impact the real estate industry in Hawaii and explores the mandatory disclosures that must be made in residential real estate transactions. Case studies and examples highlight what's considered a "material fact"--which sometimes isn't clear-cut and may fall in a gray area (e.g., stigmatized properties). The course concludes with a discussion of disclosure compliance under ethical codes, problems resulting from nondisclosure, and property managers' disclosure duties.
