A critical component of an insurance producer’s professionalism is keeping current with legislative changes. Times change, as do the important issues before the public, laws, rules, standards of care, documentation requirements, and industry practices and advances in general.  To ensure producers stay current with important regulations, Oklahoma mandates that at least two of their continuing education hours for license renewal focus on legislative updates, which this course fulfills.

• Describe the various changes to the Oklahoma Insurance Code and Oklahoma Administrative Code in 2023 as pertinent to producers, adjusters and insurers
• Cite significant federal laws that impact the business of insurance in all states
