A home is often one of the most important--and biggest--purchases that a person will ever make. A professional home inspection is an instrumental part of the home buying process because it provides detailed information about the condition of a property, which can help buyers avoid unpleasant surprises down the road.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the different parts of a home that are inspected, the role of a licensee, and the important disclosure obligations that sellers and licensees must comply with in California. It also explores the different types of disclosures that must be made regarding material defects and environmental issues, and describes the duties real estate licensees have to clients and other brokers.
