Flood Insurance 2.0

Overview

Flooding is the costliest natural disaster in the U.S., affecting all 50 states. Around 90% of natural disasters involve flooding. Licensees need to counsel consumers on flood risks and insurance benefits. This course covers the National Flood Insurance Program, Risk 2.0 pricing, mandatory insurance for certain homeowners, reading flood maps, private vs. NFIP coverage, local mitigation efforts, and the role of real estate licensees in advising clients on flood risks and disclosures.
