Overview
An important part of a funeral service professional's duties is to ensure familiarity with all laws and administrative regulations that apply to the licenses the professional holds. In Iowa, funeral professionals must comply with the Iowa Board of Mortuary Science's rules and regulations pertaining to the funeral industry. The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the laws and regulations that govern the practice of licensed funeral directors who conduct business in Iowa, as well as the laws that pertain to licensed funeral establishments and licensed cremation establishments.
