MassHealth Long-Term Care: Plans and Programs (Does meet MA LTC)

Overview

As the number of Americans aged 65 and older continues to grow, so has the demand for long-term care services in Massachusetts. It's more important than ever for life and health insurance producers to understand Massachusetts' MassHealth program and how the purchase of qualifying long-term care insurance policies can provide certain asset and estate recovery protections.

This course is written to offer a core aspect of the 8-hour training necessary to sell long-term care insurance in Massachusetts and is intended primarily for licensed producers who need specific training on Massachusetts' MassHealth (Medicaid) program.Students are advised that this course alone does not provide the full 8-hour training Massachusetts mandates for the sale of long-term care insurance. Upon completion of this course, students will understand:
