One area of Medicare that remains little understood by the average consumer is the appeals process and the rights of Medicare recipients to ask for reconsideration of a decision by Medicare or their Medicare Advantage or Part D plan. The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive study of the Medicare appeals process so producers and advisors can help guide their clients through that process if it were to become necessary or advisable.
