Arizona Real Estate Disclosures

Overview

Real estate transactions require a number of important disclosures that are mandated by both Arizona license law and other laws. In this course, you'll learn about the disclosures required of licensees, buyers, and sellers ranging from agency to property disclosures. You'll also learn about disclosures relating to material facts, conflicts of interest, trust accounts, compensation, scope of expertise, and premiums, credits, and rebates.

This course meets the three-hour mandatory continuing education course requirement on disclosures.

Objectives

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • describe a licensee's disclosure duties to clients and third parties
  • describe the seller's and buyer's disclosure obligations to each other
  • identify common material facts requiring disclosure and liability for failure to disclose
  • recognize disclosure-related transaction documents and identify when to use them
  • identify common red flags associated with real estate transactions
