In Virginia, however, all real estate purchase agreements must be in writing, making it critical that licensees understand the contracts used in transactions. This course covers the basics of forming a contract as well as listing and buyer broker agreements. It also examines the terms of the Virginia Residential Contract of Purchase and concludes with a review of Virginia case studies illustrating common transaction errors that licensees must avoid.
