Maine Reasonable Care and Diligence Core Course

Overview

Licensees have fiduciary duties to clients as well as important duties to
customers. This course, created by the Maine Real Estate Commission, focuses on the reasonable care and diligence that licensees must exercise when working with both clients and customers. It covers definitions and discussion points relating to reasonable care and diligence; the proper verification of buyers' and sellers' identities; licensees' and sellers' disclosure duties; and licensees' duties to explain documents.

This three-hour course meets Maine's mandatory requirement for the Reasonable Care and Diligence Core course.
