Fair Housing Required Course 2026--2027

Overview

Real estate professionals must follow antidiscrimination laws to protect clients, the public, and their business. Despite the Fair Housing Act being over 50 years old, housing discrimination remains an issue. This course covers the history and importance of the Fair Housing Act, protected classes, prohibited conduct, the complaint process, and some common issues that may arise. This course also discusses Oregon's fair housing laws and how they differ from federal law. This course meets the mandatory requirement for Oregon real estate licensees to take a two-hour state and federal fair housing course.
