This course introduces federal grant programs and their fraud risks, covering grant administration, beneficiaries, and vulnerabilities. It discusses how the Bipartisan Budget Act increased fraud susceptibility in disaster recovery programs, the 12 compliance areas for federal grants, and common audit findings. The course concludes with an examination of fraud in federal COVID relief programs.
