Texas Legal Update I

Overview

In this mandatory four-hour course, licensees will learn about Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) rules, recent rule changes, and legislative updates. Students will also review contract forms and addenda and will apply this knowledge to various case studies to ensure the proper contracts are used in transactions. Finally, students will review water rights in Texas, federal, state, and local fair housing laws, and best practices to protect the rights of individuals with disabilities.
