2026–2028 Core: Protecting Consumers’ Property and Confidential Information

Overview

Real estate licensees are entrusted with extraordinary access to homes, belongings, and sensitive personal and financial information. This course, which meets the mandatory CE requirement, examines a licensee's affirmative duties to protect that trust across all three areas. Not only does the course look at Pennsylvania law, but it also illustrates these issues using real-life disciplinary cases from the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission. These examples will help licensees avoid decisions, no matter how well intentioned, that can ultimately cost them money, reputational damage, or even the ability to practice.
