Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination

Overview

Harassment and discrimination involve age, disability, equal pay/compensation, genetic information, harassment, national origin, race/color, religion, and sexual harassment. This course looks at many of these laws, includes a discussion of harassment and discrimination, and provides guidance through examples to assist you on staying on the right side of the line drawn between right and wrong.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • define harassment and discrimination
  • identify conduct that could be considered harassing and discriminatory
  • understand the consequences for harassment and discrimination, as well as participating in harassing or discriminatory behavior
