Insuring Drones--What You Need to Know

Course Description
Though there is no current requirement that drones be insured, the number of accidents that happen--and the types of accidents that can happen--make it imperative that drone owners and operators protect themselves with liability insurance. As more and more hobbyists and businesses acquire and use drones, they will be asking their insurance agents some important questions.

This course provides an overview of small drone loss exposures, drone regulation, potential risk exposures, and insurance coverage options. Producers who complete this course will be better equipped to answer their customers’ questions.
