Agency Law

The agency relationships that real estate professionals establish with buyers, sellers, and property owners form the backbone of real estate practice. How well a licensee represents clients and minimizes liability depends on the extent to which they understand and uphold the duties of agency.

This course covers critical agency concepts that Mississippi real estate professionals must understand, including the relationship between agents and principals, agents' authority, fiduciary duties, unlawful trade practices, and creating and terminating brokerage agreements.
