This course is designed to enhance the knowledge of the California real estate brokerage community regarding the duties and obligations owed by brokers and their salespersons and broker associates to real estate buyers and sellers. It explores how agency relationships are created and terminated, agents' fiduciary duties, and the potential liabilities that may arise during such relationships. The course also examines the different types of listing agreements, required disclosures, dual agency, and agreements between brokers.
