Homeowners Policy: Property Exclusions and Conditions - CLEQ

Overview

Standard and nonstandard homeowners policy forms include various components that provide coverage parameters. This course focuses on the exclusions and conditions components. Exclusions limit the coverage granted in the insuring agreement. Conditions enumerate both the insured's and the insurer's rights and responsibilities under the policy.

The course is based on exclusions and conditions used with the 2011 and the 2022 editions of the Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO), homeowners special form (HO 3) because this is the most commonly used homeowners form.
