Casualty Insurance for Manufacturers

Overview

Manufacturers face many of the same general liability, workers compensation, and transportation exposures as other businesses; however, there are unique exposures that must be addressed. This course deals primarily with a manufacturer's exposures for general liability, workers compensation and transportations along with the solutions available to manage the risks, including insurance.

understand the types of manufacturing loss exposures that general liability insurance can address
recognize the workers compensation and employers liability loss exposures and how to address them
identify transportation exposures and how to mitigate these exposures
explain how commercial umbrella/excess policies can be used to increase policy limits
