5/31 every even year

Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 2 year license term.

Excess credit hours may not be carried forward to the next license term.

Licenses expire May 31 of every even-numbered year. The Commission e-mails renewal notices approximately 60 days prior to the license expiration date. Notices are sent via e-mail to the e-mail address registered on the PALS website. A completed application includes the reactivation fee and continuing education certificates.

WebCE does not report course completions to the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission.

Online PDF certificates of completion are available to print immediately after the course is completed.

The Commission may waive all or part of the continuing education requirement of §35.382 (relating to requirement) upon proof that the standard license holder seeking the waiver is unable to fulfill the requirement because of illness, emergency or hardship. Requests to waive the continuing education requirement must be filed with the Commission on or before March 31 of the renewal year unless the applicant proves to the satisfaction of the Commission that it was impracticable to do so.

Reciprocal licensees, unlike standard licensees, are not required to complete Pennsylvania’s 14-hour continuing education requirement. Upon request, a Certificate of Licensure dates within 90 days of submission must be provided to verify current licensure in the reciprocal state. Visit the state website to find out what states have reciprocity with Pennsylvania.
