All Licenses

• Ethics: 3 CE hours
  No more than 3 hours of Ethics can be completed in a renewal period.

• Licensees must take courses in license type held.
• Multi-licensed producers must take a minimum of 6 hours in each license type held.
• No more than 50% of the requirement can be in company-sponsored courses.

1. Electronic renewals will be available 60 days prior to the expiration date.
2. CE requirements must be taken within 15 business days of expiration of the D.C. producers’ insurance license in order to qualify for license renewal. Failure to do so may result in the expiration of the license.
3. Complete renewal application and submit fees.

• WebCE courses are classified as online self-study courses.
• Students should read through the course material for each course before attempting a final exam.
• Self-study exams are closed-book and require a monitor.
• Monitor requirements: A disinterested third party minimum age of 18 years who has no family or financial relationship. Therefore a proctor should not serve for examinations of family members, relatives, or dependents; employers or supervisors; employees or subordinates; partners, joint ventures, or co-owners; or anyone in whom the proctor or instructor has an economic or other interest in assuring the successful outcome of the examination.
• Exams may be remotely monitored. Please refer to our Virtual Monitoring Guide for more information.
• Final exam passing score: 70%
• If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.
