Excess credit hours earned in one license term may not be carried forward to a the next license term.

What is the Illinois Funeral license renewal process?

Licensees will receive an email notification when the renewal period opens and multiple email reminder notices as the deadline approaches. Funeral professionals are required to self-report course credit hours earned to the Illinois Division of Professional Regulation as part of the license renewal process.

What are the WebCE Illinois Funeral CE course requirements?

WebCE courses are online approved self-study courses with non-monitored open-book final exams. Students should read through the course material then complete the exam.
Passing score: 70%
If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.

What is the access period for WebCE Illinois Funeral CE courses?

12 months from the original date of purchase

How often does WebCE report Illinois Funeral CE course completions?

WebCE does not report course completions to the Illinois Division of Professional Regulation.

Actively licensed for at least 40 years
Licensees may request waivers due to illness or other extenuating circumstances
Full-time active duty in the military service of the United States, or temporary active duty in the military service or state militia for a period of time exceeding 120 consecutive days during the prerenewal period
