• Online Self-Study: Maximum 8 hours
• Tours: Maximum 2 hours may be obtained through a funeral directing and embalming related tour. Conducting a tour of the licensee’s facility does not constitute continuing education.
• Exhibits: Maximum 2 hours may be obtained through a funeral directing and embalming related exhibit or display. If a continuing education workshop provides an exhibit or display area, a licensee may earn 1 continuing education hour per workshop for viewing the exhibits or displays.
• Meetings: Maximum 8 hours may be obtained through attendance at a District, State, or National Association Business Meeting.

• Pay the renewal fee,
• Complete at least 12 hours of approved continuing education earned within each renewal period, and
• Take and pass the Jurisprudence Examination each renewal period within 24 months prior to the expiration date.

• WebCE courses are online approved self-study courses with non-monitored open-book final exams. Students should read through course material then complete exam.
• Passing score: 70%
• If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.
