Excess hours earned in one license term may not be carried forward to a subsequent license term.

What is the New Mexico Funeral license renewal process?

Licensees will be able to renew online after receiving the renewal notification postcard which contains a registration number. Funeral professionals are required to report course credit hours earned to New Mexico as part of the license renewal process. Renew online.

What are the WebCE New Mexico Funeral CE course requirements?

WebCE courses are online approved self-study courses with non-monitored open-book final exams. Students should read through the course material then complete the exam.
Passing score: 70%
If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.

Licensees first licensed during the same renewal period as he or she graduated from an accredited school of funeral service education are exempt from continuing education for the next renewal.
Licensees who are age 65 or above and licensed by the NM Board for at least 20 consecutive years.
