Renewal notices are emailed two to three months prior to the license expiration date. Notices are emailed to the most recent address the licensee has reported to the Board.
Funeral Professionals are required to report all CE credit hours earned on their Pennsylvania license renewal.

• WebCE courses are online approved self-study courses with non-monitored open-book final exams. Students should read through the course material then complete the exam.
• Passing score: 70%
• If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.

• An individual applying for licensure for the first time will be exempted from the continuing education requirement for the biennial renewal period following initial licensure.
• The board may waive all or a portion of the continuing education requirement for biennial renewal to a licensee who shows to the satisfaction of the board that he or she was unable to complete the requirements due to serious illness, military service or other demonstrated hardship.
