Brokers First Time Renewal

45 hours of continuing education. Courses must include:
  • 3 hours Ethics
  • 3 hours Agency
  • 3 hours Fair Housing
  • 3 hours Trust Fund Handling
  • 3 hours Risk Management
  • 3 hours Management and Supervision
  • A minimum of 18 hours of Consumer Protection
  • The remaining hours may be completed in consumer service or consumer protection

Salesperson First Time Renewal

45 hours of continuing education. Courses must include:
  • 3 hours Ethics
  • 3 hours Agency
  • 3 hours Fair Housing
  • 3 hours Trust Fund Handling
  • 3 hours Risk Management
  • A minimum of 18 hours of Consumer Protection
  • The remaining hours may be completed in consumer service or consumer protection

Broker and Salesperson Second and Subsequent Renewal

45 hours of continuing education. Courses must include:
  • One 8 hour survey course covering the six mandatory subjects (Ethics, Agency, Fair Housing, Trust Fund Handling, Risk Management, and Management and Supervision) or licensees can choose to take each of the mandatory subjects separately
  • A minimum of 18 hours of Consumer Protection
  • The remaining hours may be completed in consumer service or consumer protection
