I have only used web.ce for my CE requirements and would suggest it to anyone with the need.

Additional sample questions at the end of each chapter would add to better retention of information.

The voice reading the material is very robotic and made it difficult to comprehend while listening at times. Also, this is supposed to be a 4 hour course, but it took me almost 8 hours to complete.

Need more videos explaining things. Videos help much more to understand what your learning than just mostly all reading.

I think that since this course is SPECIFIC to Oregon, that the phrase used "most states..." should be followed by "in Oregon, yada yada". That would be helpful. I am not convinced that this course adequately covers the topic in a way that "new producers" will be able to understand what their obligations are, based on my experience as a producer. However, I do not intend to represent or sell annuities EVER. I did want to understand what this is all about and I did learn quite a lot of information that was new to me. Thanks!

There was so much information provided that it was difficult to follow. A lot of mathematical equations that needed additional examples and videos to work through for a full understanding.

This was a very good course. It kept my attention and reminded me of things that are important. I do think the test bank for some of the quiz questions at the end of each section is not entirely accurate though. It seemed that at times there would be a question in a section that did not relate to the material of that chapter, but related to a previous or future chapter. I don't mind being quizzed on something from a previous section, but it's not prudent to have a quiz question is a section from future material not yet covered. Please have someone review the test bank to ensure the questions appear where they should.

This course was very challenging and beneficial on the updated Best Interest Compliance modules.

On the Annuity exam, there is a question asking "which of the following are not the common modal annuitzation payout methods" and it list 4, that are the common ones. There is not a choice that is Incorrect, making it impossible to get that question correct.

It was very educational and enlightening for my 82 year old Eyes/Brain. Been in the Financial Field since 1973.

This course was actually quite interesting and informative. It filled in several gaps in my understanding in the difference between fiduciary and best interest in regard to the regulation. It also put to bed some Industry fears of how the regulation could pratically work for insurance only licensed practicianers. (My only critique would be to have two courses---one for insurance only producers and one for insurance AND Registered Reps / Advisors. The reason is that you waste 3 or 4 questions for insurance only licensed people by including the variable stuff. Plus, it implies that perhaps the insurance only rep can talk 'variable products". I realize the Regulation says otherwise, but the insurance only rep might wonder why the other is included. Plus why learn what you can't use or even discuss. I would go with the two courses, as opposed to the one with extra variable questions. It is a waste for the insurance only producer and probably not enough for the variable (registered rep /or Advisor). I offer this critique as a former Series 7,6,63, 65 and 24 Registered Rep / Advisor. Otherwise, a great and informative course. Thank you.

On the Taxes section providing more videos with actual examples would help more.

The basic logistics of 16 chapters in 4 hrs comes out to 15 minutes per section which is essentially logistically impossible unless you are zipping through every single quiz without having to read or reference a single page of material. This course clearly should be a 6 hr CE credit course. I've breezed through far more comprehensive certifications and classes in far less time than I spent on this.

This "8 hour" CE takes a lot longer than 8 hours to complete if you're not already fairly well versed in the subject matter. [edit: I downloaded the certificate then came back here to hopefully add something . . . I would suggest this course has enough ethics-related material to be worth at least 1 hour of ethics. It also covers some life-related info as well. Instead of being worth 8 hours in HEALTH; I would recommend 1 hour of ETHICS, maybe 1 hour of LIFE, and 6 to 8 hours of HEALTH.

This 8 hour CE takes a lot longer than 8 hours to complete if you're not already fairly well versed in the subject matter.

It is an hour credit course, but some of the bullet point sections within a few of the units were unnecessarily long. 12-14 min slides just turned my brain off on occasion because i knew id be stuck on that slide for awhile knowing I had more to go. Maybe consider breaking them up. It would create more sections, but it'll seem easier and less stressful to complete than doing those longer ones.

The first time I tried to access the course, WebCE was having technical difficulties and I was unable to access the course at all. The issue was resolved the following day.

I appreciate the audio but sometimes the voice sounds like a robot and doesn't pause when a human would actually pause between sentences. I find the history of laws and regulations a waste of time. I would like to just know the current regulations not the history of the changes. Hearing the history can be confusing to remember what we are expected to comply with now.

On need for monitoring tests, I would state that reaching out to a local libraarian woiuld be a great suggestion for a monitor. I did and it was perfect, my experience with librarians is they always ask if they could help you. In the crazy world we live in that is a comfort.

The course actually seemed to take quite a bit longer than the number of hours assigned to it. I certainly had to spend more than four hours to complete this four hour course. I wish the hours stated would more accurately reflect the actual time needed to take the course.

IF HAVE SOME HIGHLIGHT ON THE TEXT THAT WILL HELP FOR STUDY.

I liked the little snap shot questions. Having even more ways to be interactive would be really helpful. You need to help maximize the different learning styles.

I would have benefitted from simplifying the course & note cards. I feel this information could have been summed up in a 1 hour course with the same information but less words. The tone of the audio is too monotone.

I have no complaints. It was easy to navigate and complete

Exam presentation was clear and understandable. Ability to move through exam promptly and efficiently.

There were many times when the read-aloud content was distracting because words, numbers or symbols were not stated or pronounced correctly. A real person reading the content would have been better.

I loved being able to read at my own pace, and change the playback speed on the videos. I also felt that all the "mini-quizzes" and end-of-chapter quizzes were extremely helpful to make sure I had absorbed what I read. This has been probably my best CE experience in the past five years.

I'd prefer less situation type questions as in the "real" world an insurance agent has opportunity to find out what is required as far as tax, percentages, etc. It feels like grade school.

Personally I would like to see more illistrations regarding payments,taxations,premiums of whole,universal and annuity insurance.

I like the read-it-to-me audio, it kept me involved and alert and made sure that I accomplished a complete understanding of the material.

The test seemed much harder than the quizes, especially with the amount of material presented for us to remember.
