I went ahead and did all 24 hours here vs getting my ethics through EInsurance as my license expiered tiday nd they never sent me anything or reported my 3 hours of ethics with them. I have used WebCE on all my CE education units needed over the past number of years. I like that it is easy to use and get the proper information readily.
The Read-it-to-me Audio voice sounds a bit robotic and was difficult to listen to for a long period of time. If the Read-it-to-me Audio can be improved, it would be clearer to understand. Also, some of the sections are very long.

I would add the option to highlight the text as it is being read. I find it very effective to have it read to me while reading along, but once in a while I would lose my spot. Highlighting/marking the spot as it is being read would be the icing on the cake!

I really liked this course. I though ethics was just do the right thing, but there are so many things to think about, and really consider. This was a great course! Also I liked the examples, they really got you to think. I feel we need to be reminded more often at our jobs as agents.

Errors in the grammer, the examples were horrible (hitting a dog, person dying) and since some states have different laws, of all the content, questions should not be asked where some states may not apply (Workers comp is not mandatory in every state) There was a question on having coverage via workers comp but the answer is incorrect in a state where work comp is not required. WAY too many words are used "mary, who was quite contrary?" really? A proof reader needs to go through the content.
This is the most comprehensive and easy CE website i have found. I recommend it to anyone who needs CE.

Course content was very clear and offered very clear explanations of item such as co-insurance
The quality of writing is juvenile. I began to merely scan the text after the first page or so because the writing quality is so poor. Here's a gem that appears on the top of page seven: " Gonna provide you with another scenario under Title VII." The following sentence fragment from page 29 includes punctuation that suggest it was intended to be a fully functional sentence: "A lower valuation than the prior year after having made a complaint." This fragment contains neither a subject, nor a verb. The entire text is a mishmash of poorly conceived thoughts, trite idioms, and other tortured text. For comparison, I recently completed WebCE courses pertaining to the preparation of personal financial statements, the gig economy, and digital/virtual currencies. Each of those courses included thoughtfully prepared reading material. The poor quality of this course stands in stark contrast. Even some of the test questions are so absurd that reading the text is not necessary. In other cases, ill-advised idioms are embedded in the questions such as question 18 on the exam I received that included the tired phrase of "the straw that broke the camel's back." This class tarnishes other quality offerings from WebCE.
Too much content
I thought the course was great. It was easy to understand and the whole process was positive. It included great reminders of how to make ethical decisions.
The CE courses allowed me to come and go and work at my own pace. I enjoyed the auto-read function.

No well communicated and you have to keep taking until you pass with a 70 or higher , no webinars you can do instead of exams
WebCE has been my means of CE credits for many years, because of the content and ease of use.
Too much information to mentally digest, very time consuming, and too many questions for presented materials.

The "read it to me audio" must have been AI since some of the words were not pronounced correctly, and there were no pauses between sections. A person would have known to pause.

This course was long in duration for the credits considering all of the verbal presentation. I could not locate the text to read it and move through it that way. Did not like the AI reading of the lessons. It was droll and seemed to leave out necessary punctuation that would aid in understanding.

As someone with a PhD in ethics, I found the understanding of ethics to be poor by the course writers. While it is true that there are many definitions of ethics, for instance, this should not lead to the conclusion that ethics is relative, or that it is determined by a group or society. Also, the definition of morality being about personal beliefs, whereas ethics is group-oriented, is false. I would encourage WebCE to consider sources that specifically teach teach business ethics from a realist perspective, as it the only framework sufficient for grounding claims that fraud is wrong in insurance, or what Enron and AIG did is wrong.
the long modules that just reads everything to you can be hard for some to grasp. some people are visual and active learners. I found this course to be complicated i because I cannot learn only by listening and reading. adding charts for matching, maybe some linked videos can help individuals like me who need to be active and engaged in their course for retention.

Only a PDF of material was available. There were no videos or a read-to-me option. But, the material was relevant and the test covered what was available in the workbook.

The course I took were really good. Some of the grammar and spelling were questionable. The audio was nice, the extra readings and videos were a great break.
I felt like some of the course content description was confusing.
The test were so hard and the questions were very difficult that many questions and 3 separate tests for one course was too much I would never take this course again.
two questions did not have correct answers as options. all answers were incorrect. in my opinion. may want to review.
Practice questions, and some test questions, asked for answers when there was incomplete information to make an informed decision in the body of the question. This was frustrating throughout.

The one thing that I disliked was that there was not enough time scheduled to complete the course. I believe that more than an hour and a half should be given to make sure that we have enough time to truly process and understand the material and apply it on the exam.
100% irrelevant information
I can't listen to audio books or pay attention when someone is talking At me; I almost immediately zone out. I got around this by simply reading the material, but it was just painful. I strongly suggest you break up the material in smaller pieces instead of giant walls of text, maybe add a few videos of some kind (everyone loves cartoons), graphs or interactive graphics

The time to complete the course was about 30 minutes longer than the 3 hours course time listed, even with speeding up the read-it-to-me audio. This was the first time the course content took a significantly longer time than the listed time for the course.

The one thing I "disliked" was the content from the State Insurance Commission because it has a lot of typos/grammatical errors and does not seem very professional.

The course was fine but several of the Exam questions had questionable/confusing wording. One example (I don't remember specific name or answers) was that Steven wanted to join the office football pool. When he asked to join, he was told the spots had all been chosen. This is an example of... I chose shunning but the other options were things like retaliation, harassment, and something else. I feel like this was not a good exam question because if it's a pool board and the spots are taken, then they're all taken- he should have asked to join sooner. Maybe not the best example but there were a couple questions that I felt none of the answers really applied that well.
All classes should have audio files that read to me, so I don't have to read silently to myself.
Chapter 1 practice question 3 asks, "Which employee is least likely to be in a protected class". They are all in protected classes and are, thus, equally likely, that's the whole point. This question is problematic.

The pacing of the audio format is sometimes counterproductive. The audio doesn't pause where a commas exist, for example. I use WebeCE almost exclusively because I'm instructed to by my organization.

This was my first experience with this program, usually I use other programs that cost 10x as much and are way more complicated to complete. I love this program and will recommend it at every chance I get.

The CE was for 2 hours. It took 2.20 minutes to complete the course and the exam.
It would be most helpful if the exam could be opened in a separate page, so you didn't have to go back and forth between the two in order to research an answer for a question.

As someone with dyslexia i really appreciated that i could have the concepts read out loud and that there were videos included. Might be better if it was not a computer voice and was an actual person speaking to me. It just would have made it that much better.
This is a very convenient and straight forward way to achieve the required CE credits necessary for licensing. I would definitely continue to rely on WEB CE to stay compliant and learn material that is relevant to my career.

The course presentation was clear and logical. Ethics involves thinking and common sense as well as understanding regulatory policies & procedures.
Give more information about proctor requires ahead of scheduled course/ test to lic. consultants to allow time for them to select a proctor who would be readily available.

This particular course could have been (and I'd argue should have been) divided into 3 courses: Commercial Auto, Auto Dealers/Garagekeepers, Truckers.
The grammatical errors and sentence structure are distracting. The content and meaning were conveyed appropriately however, the use of spell check is not enough to quantify the value of the composition of the class. I've used WebCE since 2007 and have not seen this level of grammatical errors. I recommend an evaluation (end user review) prior to release of the course in the future.

The course was easy to follow and access.
The wording of the questions were incredibly confusing. It took me rereading over and over multiple times on some of them to gain understanding. Some seemed to be opinion based, and some were difficult to gauge what the question was even asking, as though there was missing context. Some questions were very difficult reads.
Having a video presentation rather than just reading text is preferable.

I LOVE the lecturer's various Analysis Video presentations as she is quite thorough in explaining the 3 Red, Yellow & Green positions and make a final suggestion of what treatment is the best appropriate for the particular scenario in her example! These vivid videos make the topics very interesting and lively that I always want to see/hear more of what she will say next! But I do have a Constructive Comment to urge the Author to put all her sayings in her videos in writing at the very end of each Session so that we the Students can make referrals to when we answer the Quiz or Final exam questions. Thank you.

Much of the content and test questions were about commercial auto symbols, motor carrier regulations, acts, and symbols, and auto dealer symbols; information that does not need to be memorized in our profession. When working with commercial auto, motor carrier etc., the information is easily accessible to us and general knowledge is sufficient, not memorizing every single symbol. I would not take this course again. It was too specific which made it frustrating.
Final testing for the most part straight forward without trick questions. thx!!

Some of the content was likely written by someone with only academic knowledge of insurance sales and claims. There is no agent in their right mind would turn in a claim for double $ the loss that was denied twice - the loss to property was already evaluated in the two prior losses. The very first question in the first section of the course is incorrect. it refers to refraining offers of meals and gifts to employees of the company the answer said clients.....which is incorrect. We cannot offer employees gifts etc like an Underwriter or claims adjuster to influence a sale or outcome of a claim.
Some of the questions and their answers were poorly worded.

I wish there were more practice exams in the course. I felt blindsided by the amount of questions of certain topics and I think if there were more practice exams, that would have helped me a lot.

I enjoyed the course, but found myself frustrated by the video/photography quality. This may seem petty, but the shiny nature of the presenters face made it look like she was sweating to death and I just wanted to reach into the screen and mop her face. This is really sad, because her presentation was wonderful!

I have used WEBCE always. I investigate other vendors but always come back. I love the practice questions at the end of the chapters because they give me a chance to test my absorption of the material. KUDOS!
The 'read to me" feature is terrible. The reading was expressionless and robotic. I finally turned it off and just read it out loud or sped it up to 2x to get through.
IT'S A 3 HOUR COURSE THAT TAKES 3 AND A HALF HOURS TO COMPLETE. IT WOULD BE UNETHICAL TO NOT GIVE ME CREDIT FOR ALL 3.5 HOURS INVESTED. THAT IS WITH THE COMPUTER READING TO ME.

The reader was a little slow.
The California addemdum asked agents and brokers not to copy and paste the same text in every question of the fraud reporting form, and then proceeded to copy and paste trice each check point question. Also, the material took me a whole work day to listen to.

Overall, it was good. It was a bit boring, but I guess that is expected with some things. I didn't notice that you could have it read to you while you read until the very last section.

Very easy to complete course on own time by saving and exiting program.
I did not like having to read the Commissioners presentation on Fraud. It was too wordy. The main issue was knowing how and when to report a fraud issue.
I found this to be a bit overwhelming with information and confusing questions. The questions were also written in ways that were confusing or a lot of useless details. I had the same answer offered as option B and C in one of the questions I had...it was the correct anwer and it was listed twice. These dragged out story problems also have names in the answers that are not applicable to the question at hand, however, applicable in another question similar later in the test. Was disappointed in the test.
I would still prefer in-person training for engagement purposes

I took this for my Maryland CE. I felt that although the content was excellent, it was very comprehensive for a CE class. The test was grueling although I did get a passing 91%(i'm pretty competetive and was pushing for 100%) It took me 2.5 hours to respond to 45 questions. This is a very good course for learning, just a lot for CE.
I did not understand the owned property care, custody or control exclusion. More interactive sections would be good.

There were a few practice test questions with several correct answers. One was pretty much verbatum from the course and marked incorrect. What?!?! I asked my husband who has been in commercial insurance for decades about it. He said it made no sense.

Great course! Easy to follow.
Most of the examples given were not issues in real-life. Agents can't just inflate the value of a claim because it wasn't paid. Life companies do their own underwriting to verify info in the applications, etc. The examples make it sound like the info the agent submits is the only thing considered by a company.

Some interactives in the course seemed to conflict with materials in the course.
This course was great but it really took me several tries to get in because the verification of me not being a computer was confusing it had 15 different images the first time, then the 2nd time it had about 9, the finial attempt was checking for photos with a fire hydrant and it was the easiest because it just says to click until there are no more but await new pix to load.
I really enjoyed the content of this course and found it very helpful and easy to navigate.
Lots of focus on particular forms, which is not 100% relevant in the "real world" as many insureds/clients have policies that have been manuscripted....

I think there may be an issue with Practice question #4 for Chapter 8. It states the answer should be within 75 miles but when that option is chosen, it's incorrect. The system is showing the correct answer as "D" does not apply
overkill and questions don't match material.
I woud suggest you consider not using Covered Auto Symbols without definitions. Knowing the content of the auto policies is most important and too many symbols tare difficult to remember, and they appear in all applications.
I liked the practice questions at the end of every module. I reread two modules when I did not pass the quiz at 100% the first time. It was an easy way to point out what I needed to clarify prior to actual exam. Sherry Alexander
I was expecting a more detailed examination of law - this course was more "light" and kept mostly to application in real-life scenarios. I recognize the importance of this fact, however I personally would have preferred a text based course with more details on the specific language of the laws themselves.

All the Ethics Training was agent-broker focused, whereas I am an Independent Adjuster, needing claims based issues (you have had this in the past). Much of this was irrelevant to my job. Your format, training, testing was otherwise okay. Could more more concise. "Designed for: Insurance professionals at any level in their career" is misleading. At least the final Exam was straightforward.

That is a lot of hefty reading, would like to see more beaks in the reading with a video or pictures for examples. I think a lot of people learn more visually, including myself. I would like to see more questions asked sooner to make sure you aren't too far along in the reading material before you test your knowledge.
Some of the questions were difficult and hard to answer correctly. The stem of the question didn't contain enough facts, or a clear fact pattern. Were some written by AI? Maybe less questions that cover relevant information?? I didn't sense that I was always being asked about the material - which is very important - but how well I could guess or pick the "best answer." Somewhat disappointing. Bob
This was by far my favorite class for CE. The presenter was amazing and kept me engaged throughout the entire class. She made the examples real world accurate I would definitely take more classes if Christine Sensenig, Esq was presenting and they were of this caliber.

This subject is a difficult one. My suggestion is to create a class about Business Auto Coverage, not including Motor Carrier and Auto Dealers policies. The reason is the aforementioned type of policies are not widely sold by insurance brokers.

Some of the questions could be worded better for better understanding. I was marked wrong on a quiz because it was subject to interpretation. A key element was omitted from the question that drove my decision on how I answered.
More time should have been scheduled for the reading portion by my company. 1.5 hours was not enough time.
I really liked that I was able to print the course book before taking exam. Its nice to have paper to read instead of computer screen sometimes. The resource was very helpful when learning the course material. The testing questions were also clear to read and easy to navigate to the next page. I enjoyed that the test questions were separated into 3 different groups instead of all on one page. Made test taking more easy.
There is no clear audience for this course. Is it for HR employees? Supervisors? Business owners? The presenter frequently addresses a “Risk Manager” but she presents little actionable guidance, just the advice that every situation you encounter will be different and merits careful consideration. (This is so self-evident, it's not helpful to "learn" in a CE class.) The Red/Yellow/Green concept muddies every single scenario, occasionally causing the presenter to repeat herself or misspeak while talking around and around an issue. The content doesn’t dive into nuclear verdicts, only mentions EPLI in the glossary, barely mentions Directors & Officers coverage, and doesn’t broach the idea of how a professional in any field could help a client experiencing these kind of issues. I vote to send this one back to the whiteboarding stage — change the title to one of the presenter’s quotations: “It’s not a problem ’til it’s a problem” keeping the same general outline of legal points, but totally re-thinking the delivery/presentation, itself. Definitely not a win for an insurance license renewal course, but I can’t think it would be very helpful for internal Risk Managers, either.

I needed to take this for CE and I was confused on what Ethics class to take specifically.
I love WebCE but I have to admit, I did not feel like the course prepared me for the exam. I read and studied prior to the exam and still felt like I had no clue on some of the questions. Fortunately, I studied enough to pass but, comparing this course to others, I felt the exam vs course content were not matched as well.
I have used your CE for several years. This time much of the content seemed irrelevant and the course quizes had questions that barely made sense. Thankfully the test questions were much easier than the quiz questions.
The information and detail is very informative, the sample questions are a good pre-test, and the fact that you can pause and come back to do more later is the best feature for sure.

This was one of the most biased trading I have ever taken. A small percentage of the answers given were proven by the laws, however this person's example were extremely prejudice. I will avoid this instructor for future courses. I do not want to be contacted after giving this evaluation....PERIOD.

The timer seemed to be delayed by about 8 minutes by the time I finished the 3 hour training before I could take the test.
I like how the overview, the summary and the practice questions at the end of every chapter where added, that helped me retain information better.
I feel there could be a better choice for the AI voice that read. At times it felt like it was reading run-on sentences without much voice inflection. Felt too robot like.
The automated voice that reads the course mispronounces a lot of words, the cadence is off, and the pronunciation of acronyms is awful

Christine Sensenig, Esquire is an excellent presenter. Her cadence was perfect for me. I appreciated the red, yellow, and green thought-provoking moments. It was also eye opening. Interesting cases and scenarios. I normally do not look forward to videos for my CE courses but I will look for hers!

My biggest critique would be to not use names like Main insurance brokers or Best insurance companies, it makes me have to re-read the prompt at times because it comes off as a descriptive word not a proper noun regardless if it is capitalized.

On your examples used, can you vary the types of people used? Everyone has to deal with unbiased opinions of others, not just white men and Christians. Change it up, it is getting tiring to hear the same examples over and over.

A rare miss for you - not a great class. The video case study discussions were too long given how obvious they were. There's got to be a better way to teach this material instead of that long-winded 'red, yellow, or green light' concept. The practice questions weren't all that connected to the video content. Also, there was a mistake on the test question on pregnancy discrimination. This was my first class with you I thought was not well taught, though the subject is interesting.

Using WebCE is preferred over all vendors. MUCH better than the The Institutes. My company pays for me to go through The Institutes but I will use my own money to obtain CE through WebCE. The Ethics courses through The Institues don't even include the antifraud portion, they expect agents to use the free DOI website (can take over 60 days to report classes). THANK YOU for the user friendly website and clear communication!
Much of the content was irrelevant. Knowing what verbiage is in Microsoft mission statement does not assist me in learning ethics

The time allotted to complete is 3.0 hours. Progressive only scheduled me for 1.5 hours to complete (an unrealstic amount of time). If I had followed the read along format, this may have taken me 6-7 hours to complete. The most expedient method is to read over the information without the use of the read-along method provided. Far too time consuming against the 3.0 hours stated for completion at the beginning of the CE (post login).

The course was very informative. But, there were a few instances when you used 'he' or 'she', and you could have used a gender neutral word.

The content could be reduced, simplify the verbiage so that's easily understood. I've been taking CE through WebCE since approximately 2009. Obviously, the writer is good, but this time I had to look up several words for a definition to ensure I was interpreting the information properly. I'm not sure who sets forth the hours it which it can be completed, we are given 1.5 hours and it's simply unachievable. It's been a few years since I used the WebCE platform, thank you for adding the Read-it-to-Me function.

The instruction was just a little dry.
The course was good but sometimes momentarily distracting with the AI reading as artificial intelligence sometimes had the emphasis on the wrong consonant changing the meaning from a verb to a noun or vice-versa in the wrong context.
Much more "organized" in how the modules were set up. BIg picture was provided initially, then supporting detail. Other providers courses have had waaaaaay too much detail and not enough conceptual info about the coverages.

Don't like the trick questions or the "Jeopardy Game" questions that attempt to hide the answer. That tests the ability of the person to take a test or spot tricks rather than learn and understand relevant content. Next time I need CE I will consider other providers.
What I liked most was that it was a video. I did another class that was written and I used the audio and I did not like it.
Today's study was long and had to wait until the end to do the exam. It is better for me to do take the exam after each section. Everything is fresh and easier to answer.
THE ONE QUESTION THAT WAS SURLY NO CLEAR WAS* The Law of agency describes the relationship between ?????? I could never find this . Some of the descriptions were very confusing.
The content was informative but somewhat dry in presentation. The interactive videos and chart exhibits were helpful in breaking up the walls of text.
Videos at the end of chapters wasn't clear that choices were questions to be answered.
The read-it-to-me audio was full of misspoken words and was poorly timed. By that I mean some sentences were run on sentences due to faulty pauses at punctuation marks. Also the Roman numeral "I" was pronounced as the word "I" and it tried to make words out of acronyms. This made understanding difficult at times, but was not a serious issue.
I found this course very helpful and easy to navigate for the most part. It would help more if there is any way to save the stopping point in the course material and audio read-me option when in the middle of a section. If I had to save and exit in the middle of a section, it would take me back to the beginning of that section when I signed back in to continue the course. On a positive note, I appreciated the ironic humor in the company names, etc. throughout the course.
I personally would like more visual learning aids such as video, images, etc.

With the popularity of service centers I would like to see some content on the dilemma of working for an insurer and also being a licensed agent in a service center and where the loyalties lie within both.
It took me double the normal time to complete my CE due to all of the exams and final exam.
The material was excellent in that it was all designed to be informative and straight to the point. No unnecessary verbiage. Thank you.
It was a three hour credit course which took much longer that that to get through the materials .
It's alot of material to go through. It is very dry material. Videos intermittently would have been much better. Very detailed information.

Thought the course covered difficult material that only an underwriter would know. I feel fortunate to have passed the exam since i was never an underwriter.

Example given for "soft fraud" is almost identical to the practice question asking hard vs soft, yet the answer turned out to be hard fraud. Suggestion would be to get rid of the idea of hard & soft fraud and just go with fraud. This seems to exist only to have more variety in questions and throw more terms into the program.
You could be a little more creative with the names of the hyothetical actors.

This course and the reading was very time consuming. I would recommend what others are doing for CEs and provide one hour webinars where you listen to the information and then receive a 1 hour continuing education credit. Taking an exam at the end of the course can also be nerve racking for many. Please consider removing the exam, or reducing the reading time.

Less is Best? This particular training could have less text. Got overwhelming. Too much. The ability to work at my own pace is imperative. The audio and visual learning is my preferred style. I was pleased this was available. The quizzes and final exam were designed to match what I learned and understood i.e. No 'tricky' questions.
I wish the courses were a little more cost effective or the coupon code offered and sent remains good until nearer license renewal date.

This was one of the most amazing continuing education courses let alone courses in general that i have ever had the privilege of taking. The material was extremely non-biased and provided excellent clarity and information within the first two minutes of the course. Whoever wrote this course and provided the audio should receive a raise for the amount of effort and nonbiased information. I felt engaged, immersed and refreshed because the subject matter was well displayed. Even the Scenarios were actual real-life scenarios further impacting the credibility and accuracy of the program. 10-10 would recommend this course to anyone and everyone in the insurance industry and would also say that people who are not in the insurance industry could also benefit from the material in the first 4 chapters/sections. I'm not saying it should be mandatory, but I am saying everyone should have the Opportunity to enjoy this course.

I have used Web CE for several years and love the materials. This one failed to meet the standards I am used to. Video/audio is great when accompanied by written materials which accommodates different learning/absorption preferences. The focus of this training is incredibly critical to business leaders but the singular focus on a video with a court stenographer document was a failure.
Took too much time to cover the material. should have been two classes instead of one with more CE hours.
the voice for the read it to me audio was very monotone. I stopped using it after the first segment as it was more of a hinderance than help. Might try finding a different AI voice option that isn't so monotone for this feature.

The course was very user friendly.
For a renewal the materials were presented as a first examining candidate instead of a review. The presentation was extremely lengthy. The degree of difficulty and the time to consume the material was not described prior to purchasing the courses. The site is also not suited for persons with eyesight and or hearing impaired. The rate of speech for the audio is far too fast to absorb the material and there is not adjustment for the audio speech which does not assist sight and and hearing-impaired persons. The lengthy reading created more sight difficulties and increased my inability to finish the course without strain and average completion time for a renewal candidate; however, the course served the purpose to renew. Thank you.

I became a licensed Insurance Agent in 1990 and have worked for the last 20+ years in Personal Lines. This past January I transitioned into Commercial Lines (even though I did years and years ago work as a CL CSR) but as you can see that was many, many years ago. This was a GREAT refresher course of CL and it was informative and the material was so great to "understand". I LOVED IT!!!
Access to the table of contents would be very useful in going back and looking at prior pages you wish to reread. This is a lot in one course. Should be broken into smaller courses.

I am a commercial auto agent and have been for 35 years and I found some of the information confusing. This is also too much information to present to someone without a background. This course would be better broken down into at least two different courses.
The videos were difficult to hear, it kept stopping and skipping.
The read to me portion doesn't always use the correct pronunciation of the words. It caused me to loose focus of the material and reread to make sure I understood the information

though the text addressed it, the speaker didn't discuss termination for cause when it comes to workers compensation. I would like to know more about scenarios about when can you terminate without fear of retaliation. Basically it sounds like anyone can file a retaliation claim and the only winners are lawyers.

Have taken several ethics courses in the past. This one was way different and in disagreement with past courses. Error in training material was not helpful.

The pronunciation of the 18th Century German Philosopher Immanuel Kant is the German way, not "can't." Though "Cahnt" sounds affected it is not the way anybody who is familiar with Kant would say his name, Australians and Brits mostly excepted.

Great way to get the CE's Done
WebCE is/has been my "go to" source for all continuing education for many years and will continue to be.
This ethics course made me think that ethics is all up to an individual. I understand that people are different and are more moral on certain things, but to say that cheating on a spouse is ethical if the couples morals say it is makes no sense to me. Next we will be saying murder and rape is ok if the person's morals are that they are ok...ethics are supposed to be universal in certain stances in my opinion, according to law and common sense. I would never have my son take this kind of ethic class because it makes no sense to me!!!

Loved the Red, yellow, green light method. She did not devalue your point of view but gradually took you deeper. Very effective in retention of information as well as helping to calm our personal biases.

I'm going to look for a different provider in the future, because this course was WAY too involved, incredibly time consuming and put way too much emphasis on laws that would NEVER be applicable in the average person's day to day activities. I like that it was short, entertaining with story telling and easy to understand so it wasn't boring. The quick quiz at the end of each chapter was not too long and is helpful to identify areas where a little more study or focus should be applied.
The courses I picked only offered .pdf files but no audio or video options. I wish I had known that before purchasing as I prefer audible tools, even those on an app I can use on the go vs. having to sit a and read a .pdf file.

I completed sixteen hours this weekend. The Employee Related Claims course was by far the best.
The first question of my exam was asking about Extramarital affairs and that it basically wanted me to agree that its ethical to be ok with such actions. This question is RIDICULOUS and HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE. It has NOTHING to do with insurance. The very idea that WEBCE includes such an outlandish question that erodes moral fiber is insane. Asking an agent to be "ok" with unethical and immoral actions in an ethics course/exam is beyond ridiculous. This question should be removed, if for no other reason, that it has NOTHING to do with insurance or being a professional of any kind!

I would remember the little things if the lessons were shorter and more decisive about certain details. That way after years they would be memorized and every year you could focus on something different.
Some of the material presented is not clear enough to answer the test questions accurately. This is a common theme in your process. I went back and review the course material regarding the question I answered incorrectly and the test question was clearly a bad question overall.

although at times there were a lot of concepts presented all at once in certain sections, the information was clearly presented; the examples of situations were helpful

Videos that demonstrate a role playing scenario like on Jeopardy would break things up.

The content is overly wordy & drawn out. Especially when compare to Kaplan. Important info, content could be given in shorter version. At times, it’s difficult to progress thru course in a timely manner.
This was an extremely difficult block of instruction. The "read to me" is so monotone and mindnumbing that I couldn't more than two hours at a time. I finally gave up and read it myself. What got me through the test was my current knowledge of Commercial Auto. I knew what you were trying to explain and still got confused. There's gotta be something more engaging out there because I learned very little with this teaching style.
This subject matter was tedious and dry which is not WebCE's fault. I enjoyed other classes much more than this one.
Course audio was so bland/flat that I turned it off.

I thought some of the examples in the reading material were not real clear-cut to show the differences. For example the soft fraud story was actually used in a sample question but was then rated as a hard fraud. I found the examples a little unclear, but the test questions were clear cut

Please add videos or SOMETHING to make this course less dull. I believe it took me longer than 12 hours to complete. I would have preferred just watching an instructor for 12 hours and get the credit rather than read this manuscript that I struggled to stay focused in.
The quality of this course is far below the standards usually encountered on WebCE. The content is largely rudimentary and insufficient for supervisory- and management-level personnel. It is antiquated in failing to address genuinely hot current topics such as those relating to gender identity and expression. It is utterly without citation. It is vague in how it addresses the concept of "hostile work environment," and I did not observe the phrase "quid pro quo" mentioned or defined at all. And in some respects it is likely wrong -- such as by indicating that a male of European descent does not (or cannot) fall into a protected class, which is very much a matter of legal controversy. It provides little in the way of actionable guidance, in contrast to similar training such as that provided by Connecticut's Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. This course met its objectives only in the sense that it provided an overview of principal federal statutes (but failed to address the myriad state and local requirements that expand federal protections) and permitted the acquisition of continuing education credits in an expeditious manner. This course should be recalled and rewritten.
I loved the videos and that the speed could be changed to go faster. I sometimes get bored or distracted if the speed is slow.
You need to provide more than 12 months.

You do not fairly represent the time in all of your classes just to read takes more time than you allow or give credit for. Your CE hours are way more time than your CE credit issued is. Please consider this.

Best ethics class I have taken . . . it was relevant, interesting and most importantly not a waste of time. I disagree strongly with the information concerning open marriage that is contrary to Biblical Principles . . . Bible is the basis for all ethical behavior and its principles for life cannot be ignored.
I would love the course to be more interactive. The material is pretty boring (not your fault, insurance is always boring) so a more interactive course would make it easier to learn.

you had some questions with inconsistent names causing confusion. like talking about aaron for 10 lines of text then the last line of the question mentions George... there is ZERO mention of George... I was super confused and had to re-read the question several more times .. wasting my time .. thank you
The one criticism, i have, regarding this course, is that i was not able to read more than a block of text at a time. The amount of text displayed with the read-along video was limited and hindering my ability to read ahead. This was the most time consuming class from WebCE to date.

The only negative comment I have is that the course audio does not pause, or point out bullets within a chapter. It sounds like its just rambling on at times.
The stop sign analogies were a bit much to wade through. Something more straight forward with this material would have made it less cumbersome.
In the 4. 3 - Policy Format Part, Eliminating or Reducing Overlapping Coverage Section there is a typo: Similar approaches are taken to coordinate the CGL policy with specific auto, aircraft, and watercraft polices.

The speaker's voice is in a dull monotone. To improve listening, his voice inflection should be more pleasant and easy to listen to without falling asleep. Just sayin'

USED MANY TIMES TO RENEW
This course is poorly written; to the point that, at times, it is very hard to follow. Someone needs to edit the course and address repetition of words like "necessarily". In some cases the word is used correctly, in other places it is not and causes confusion. Additionally, some punctuation so entire paragraphs are not one sentence would make it easier to follow. Lastly, I'm sure I know why I got 1 question incorrect on the exam. However, the question about sexual harassment where we are supposed to based our answer only on the facts provided should be "no" it is not sexual harassment. It wasn't a good idea for a married man to ask a single woman to dinner to get to know her better, but that in itself is not harassment. Based on the facts, I don't know how someone could say otherwise. In order to choose "maybe" we would have to have more facts and we were supposed to use only the facts provided. That's frustrating to me. But, as someone with an English degree, the poor writing of the course was the most frustrating to me. --Thank you

I did not like the presentation of the material at all. The whole red light, yellow light, green light was very confusing as there was never really any correct answer. Many of the cases needed more information to make an informed answer.
The read it to me feature is fantastic, as well as being able to follow at own pace if preferred, sample questions after each section in preparation of the exam are great as well.

This course took longer than expected because of only 3 hours awarded credit.
The video learning format makes this course the best I've taken with you. It is a nice complement to the text and makes learning more enjoyable.
You could use more examples for the different concepts.
Some of the questions posed during the course, presumes that the student is well versed with certain insurance products, which is not always the case. Therefore, it was occasionally challenging to make a decision based on my limited knowledge. Example, I sell Property/Casualty products (primarily professional liability) and know very little about life insurance, so there were times when I was guessing at the point the course was trying to make.

This course was great. One suggestion would be to allow increasing vocal speed for the read-to-me feature. I enjoyed having that to follow along, but it was slow.
There is a quiz question where a Supervisor changes a decision after sleeping with their Administrative Assistant. This is clearly Sexual Harrassment because of the Superior/Subordinate relationship, however the quiz answer is Probably. The question needs to be rewritten as the fact that a direct supervisor makes an adverse action is ALWAYS by definition Harrassment.
I did not like taking the practice tests and then taking a big exam at the end.
I liked how the presenter addressed each of the 'red/yellow/green' responses and explained why most of the time, any answer could apply depending on the situation you find yourself in.

Please consider making the word "except" all caps in all of your questions. I noticed in both the section quizzes as well as the exam that there was inconsistency. There was also a question about infidelity, which does not apply to insurance of ethical application of insurance practices, so I thought that it was out of place. Thank you!

The proctor made one mistake. She referred to a CT scan as "treatment." This is not correct. Radiology images are diagnostic not treatment. Medication, injection, prescribed drugs, cleaning a wound, wrapping a wound, PT, OT and others would be treatment. Otherwise, VERY WELL DONE!!!
Ethics for $13.95 is a little steep.
I have used web ce for several years , this was the worst as far as exam questions ... seemed like they were from when we used paper and didnt have computers ... happy w your company but this class is outdated
I have another issue with an exam question in Minding the Gaps in Commercial Lines Insurance. Question 34 concerned Boyer Company whose administrative assistant failed to add Jaime as an additional insured on a CGL policy. The question concerned what action is available for Jaime against Boyer. All of the choices are wrong. Although I selected “breach of contract” as the best possible answer, the other answers were patently wrong as is breach of contract. Jaime is not a party to any contract between Boyer and its insurer. She is not a third-party beneficiary either. Jaime can sue Boyer for equitable indemnity and possibly negligence. Those choices were not available as possible answers.

I encourage a staff member to review this course with the voice service, the cadence was slow. Scheduling a 3 hours for the course, it was finished in 4hrs. This was frustrating. The extra-martial affair question IMO should be removed.

Questions about ethics are vague and it feels like there were trick questions by using similar words or adjectives - instead of reinforcing accuracy of information. The course materials were repeated too many times. The course was too time consuming.

Question 9 had identical answers on B & D and my audio had two voices about 8 seconds apart which made it unusable, so I had to end up reading everything.

Some material toughed on was not part of questions to retain the information. I prefer the studying all of the material at my pace and take the final exam. This is my first time using this format. However, I hope that the larger chapter/session that I am able to retain and apply what I learned.
For the audio, someone should listen to it because there were times where the person reading the info was cut off and the sentence left incomplete.

This was the worst course I have ever taken with you company. The education info presented was appallingly flawed and lead to a very offensive and problematic practice question in one of the modules. The actual question presented was "With respect to Title VII, which of the following employees of the Walls Company, located in Indianapolis, is least likely to be in a protected class? A. Aaron Golstein, a single rising executive of Jewish heritage B. Aisha Jones, and assistant vice president whose parents' immigrated to the United States from Africa C. Bruce Spring, who was born in the United States to parents of Dutuch, Irish and Italian ancestry D. Earnestine Fitzgerald, a married executive secretary with a slight English Accent. The correct answer provided and its rational was the following: C. Bruce Spring, a white male who was born in the United States, does not fall into a protected class. This is absolutely appalling. 1. The question is asking the test taker to engage in racial profiling 2. The law protects race and gender from being used as valid category to which discrimination can be applied. The law doesn't protect certain subcategories of races or genders and not protect other subcategories. This is appalling and leads the education to imply that is perfectly legal to discriminate against white males or that white males are not protected by the law in the same way that any other race of gender is protected.
