Are there any subject area requirements for American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries CE?

  • Ethics: 2 CE hours

When does American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries CE have to be completed?

December 31st every even year. The two-year cycle begins on the first calendar day of each odd numbered year and ends on the last calendar day of the subsequent even numbered year

New Designation Holders:
  • For designation holders that are awarded their first ASPPA designation in an odd year, the CE requirement for the CE Cycle ending the following calendar year is twenty (20) hours.
  • For designation holders that are awarded their first ASPPA designation in an even year, the CE requirement for the CE Cycle ending that calendar year is zero (0) hours.

Can American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries CE course hours carry over to the next renewal cycle?

Excess CE hours may not be carried over to the next 2-year cycle.

What is the renewal process for a American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries Certification?

  1. Complete and self-report CE credits

  2. Pay a designation maintenance fee

What are the WebCE ASPPA Credential CE course requirements?

  • WebCE courses are online self-study courses with non-monitored open-book final exams.
  • Passing score: 70%
  • If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.

What is the access period for WebCE ASPPA Credential CE courses?

12 months from the original date of purchase

How often does WebCE report ASPPA Credential CE course completions?

WebCE does not report ASPPA CE course completions. Designation holders must self-report their courses by logging into their ARA account.
